subs. unless i'm watching on adult swim...then i don't really have a choice, but the dubs are ok i guess, but i prefer the subs... the subtitles from naruto (on dvd) are funny... subbing kuso as darn... *snicker* i almost fell off my bed the first time i heard that.. (yeah, i don't really know why either.. wasn't THAT funny)... ah viz... (and the dubbed naruto isn't THAT bad... once you get used to it...) I read fast so that's not a problem, and i like being able to hear the japanese, because of those things that just don't translate into english very well, as well as the fact that then anything a character says in english has the intended impact, instead of just being a normal part of the conversation or whatever... ah, and the english voice actors are annoying sometimes too.. they do try to match the voices, but they're just not the same...

well, like orochimaru said to the 4th, there are kajillions of jutsu, and it would stand to reason that not all of them will be safe... take the sealing jutsu that the 3rd used on the kyuubi and the 4th used on orochimaru... that's not exactly the kind of jutsu that you just use whenever.. it's like a last resort. [spoiler]and that new jutsu isn't even what naruto was trying for. It was just a really kickass hey-look-what-i-discovered jutsu. he probably will come up with something... maybe have one of the clones do it instead?? then he's not sustaining any damage....[/spoiler]

I forgot about Sai's brother.. that would be interesting... and it's a good way to bring Sai into the plot more, instead of him just being that-guy-who's-in-team-7-instead-of-sasuke... and no, Orochimaru isn't dead... that was made pretty clear.. yay for future inner conflicts!! maybe when Sasuke uses his curse mark again??[/spoiler]

Yeah, he was important, but as far as Konoha goes, they were more concerned with the Akatsuki, weren't they? Anyway, Orochimaru being taken over by Sasuke doesn't kill the story. Naruto-tachi are after Sasuke, and Orochimaru was just a.. complication i guess you could say (albeit a dangerous one), and besides, the Akatsuki are still around, and they're more of a threat than Orochimaru was, since they're actually going after Naruto... Mizugetsu... another one of Orochimaru's body candidates? Or one of his guinea pigs? Not that you can tell from like two pages, but.... And of course, can't forget to mention Naruto's rasen-shuriken... damn... [/spoiler]

hm.. IS he [spoiler]blind[/spoiler]? I'm not sure.. [spoiler]Anyway, as far as kabuto goes, he doesn't seem like the type who would decide that he had to kill sasuke (if he's still sasuke, of course) for some kind of revenge or something. And even if he does feel the need for revenge, he'd probably go about it in some sneaky sort of way, anyway. He may be badass, but he probably isn't better than sasuke, and he isn't the type to randomly throw his life away in a losing battle. sasuke joining the akatsuki would certainly be interesting, though I'm not sure how sasuke would feel about their whole killing-off-jinchuuriki plot.. i suppose that at this point there isn't really much else for him to do, other than going after kakashi to find out how to obtain the mangekyo sharingan, or setting off on his own somewhere to train (even though "training" alone tends to be more random destruction than actual training..) But him joining the akatsuki wouldn't be just to prove that he's better than itachi, since after all, the whole point of all his training and whatnot is to be able to kill him to avenge the uchihas. Though i guess that wouldn't be the first instance of enemies joining a common cause in order to kill each other off eventually... About orochimaru, even if he didn't manage to take over sasuke's body, there's no way he's out of the picture. That would be too easy. maybe he took over kabuto? just a random thought... or maybe he's in sasuke's body, but not in control of him? kinda like ichigo's hollow or something...[/spoiler]

[SIZE=2][spoiler]well, assuming that sasuke survived, his next move will probably be to try to obtain the mangekyo sharingan, since he'll definitely need that to take itachi out. so will he go after naruto-tachi to do so, or come up with some other way, because it seems like he still doesn't want to kill anyone unnecessarily (the field of knocked-out shinobi... where did they all come from, anyway?) and if he won't even kill a bunch of random shinobi it seems like he might not be able to actually kill naruto-tachi, no matter what he says about "sparing his life on a whim" and such, considering that when it really comes down to it he really hasn't killed much of anyone.. if anyone at all. well, any way you look at it, sasuke with the mangekyo sharingan plus the curse mark and his natural "i rock at everything ninja"-ness will definitely be capable of dealing out some serious hurt... especially since he's one of how many? three? shinobi that have the sharingan in any form. One thing, i would think that if he went after the other akatsuki at all, it would be before he goes after his brother, since he doesn't really have any reason to go after them, other than to test his newly-acquired skills. And to the blind thing, of course, if it doesn't stop his niisan, he's not gonna let it stop HIM. zanpakuto. most assuredly. it's sealed form would be something innocuous looking like a bracelet or something, but shikai whould be a coupla wakizashi-type swords... i do like normal katana, but im like 5 feet tall. maybe. so even if i did have a katana, all of my opponents would outreach me by far... and no bankai yet (or do i?) but if i didn't feel like getting my hands dirty (don't know why i'd mind that) i'd just crush them all with my immense spiritual power... or run away. that works too.

in no particular order, samurai 7 - haven't finished this one yet, but the whole thing is amazing... the animation is insane... so gorgeous.. and the plot and all that are great too... samurai champloo - :animesmil i love this one... again, i haven't finished it yet, but it's be watanabe-san so of course it's amazing.[spoiler]when mugen learns to read... the best episode ever! hehe tagging that castle with ∞ was so funny... one does wonder however.... he still can't read any kanji can he? though i guess that's way better than just "no"... oh, and that grass that was gonna make everyone happy or whatever it was... i laughed so hard at that...[/spoiler] cowboy bebop - bounty hunters, amnesiac gambling-addicted sexy cryo-freeze girl, betamax, mushroom huinting, shinichiro watanabe. hagaren (fullmetal alchemist) - cos alchemy's just cool, and i like romi pak. and because it's a really sweet two-brother's-long-journey-to-fix-what-they-broke story... the end is sad though.. if you watch this, DEFINITELY get the movie to wrap up the story completely. (hikari no hohenheim*?? that dante is strange...) and saving the best for last, Trinity Blood - sci-fi vampires and a psycho hundreds-of-years-old bio experiment gone bad trying to take over/destroy the world. need i say more? and abel's hot... (not father nightroad, he's annoying), this is why i'm learning japanese... ot (for the novels, which aren't going to be fully translated for years yet... i'll learn japanese faster than they'll release the translated ones...) /ot like inuyasha too... it's so LONG though... well that's not the only place it's up.. and there are 136 chapters total, if anyone didn't know... all but the last chapter has been scanlated and that should be out soon *joy*. anyway, i loved this manga... it's definitely better than the anime, though i think in part that's because it's actually FINISHED now and not just a series cobbled together from the first few volumes of the manga. Besides, the manga has so much more character development, and all-around soap opera-y goodness i.e.[spoiler] *ramble*oh wait, sorry we forgot to mention but akito-san's actually a girl and she's sleeping with shigure AND his brother kureno (which makes inu-chan jealous) so he's sleeping with her mom (who of course she hates) to get back at her... oh and then she tries to kill poor kureno-san... after pushing rei down a bunch of stairs for being with haru.... oh and kureno-san's curse has been broken for like ever... but hardly anyone knows... and OF COURSE he has a thing for uo-chan... but he's with akito-san...i could go on but i bet noone read this anyway and it's all so [I]very[/I] dramatic..* /ramble*[/spoiler] (drama, drama, DRAMA... and then back to the happy....) oh, and [spoiler]when tohru-chan saw kyo-kun after she got out of hospital and ran away... that was the best moment ever! :) did she really think she'd get away? :) [/spoiler] all in all, it's a really great manga, lots of different elements to the story to keep all sorts of different readers intrigued.. hot girls (well at least one.. rei...), bishie guys (was the hotness to make up for the curse?), drama, random stabbings and almost-stabbings,... it is kinda complicated, and there's a really huge cast... uh.. lets see.. 12+1+1+3+2+1=20.. so, more than 20... but it's totally worth it imho. i give it a download it now...;) and the anime (i know i know but it's only one line..) a crackers... (if you didn't get that, a somewhat sincere gomen) hm.. this wasn't a long post at all was it? well i did just finish reading it so all this stuff is floating around in my otherwise empty brain... end.
