You should feel honoured to be using one of my mobile suit avatars! Anyway, last thread we had like this I made a huge article on my user-name. It was really thought provoking and philosophical. But I can't be bothered to even find the topic and Copy/Paste, so I'm just gonna say that it's my favourite attack from DBZ. Avatar? Why, it's a cute 'lil Chibi Asuka from NGE. Isn't she KAWAII? ^_____^ And sig? Right now I just put funny/random chat moments in there... Attachment; This is another pic I was gonna use for my avatar. Chibi Rei is so kyoot! n.n

3. AM I THE ONLY ONE WHO CARES ABOUT POSTING SPOILERS?!?! *goes to sit under rock*
4. The Driena skims across the ocean, only a few feet above the surface. It leaves a massive wake, water spraying up and back as the Airship shoots like a bullet across the calm blue. Ami is careful to keep the Airship level, for as fun as skimming across the sea is, it's highly dangerous. An elven airship such as this could shatter from the sudden change of friction when hitting the water. She looked into a pair of binoculars, checking her destination up ahead. The sky was dark, and the sea choppy. Looked like a storm. The last thing Ami wanted was to get caught in a storm in unfamiliar territory. She slows the Driena down, and brings her up to around twenty-five feet above the water. The storm is wide, and she can't see through the haze. Cursing under her breath, Ami decides not to head into the storm. For a storm so large, a detour would take hours. She sighs. Going to Verdun wasn't a good idea in the first place, anyway. She had other things to worry about. Amidriena takes the controls, and spins the Airship around, westward. She might as well head back to Meridion. As the ship turns, she catches a glimpse of an Island, fifteen miles or so away. She looks through her binoculars, and sees a plethora of Hume technology. Massive buildings, and some kind of picture made of light, floating high above the ground. This was of course the Sky Hockey's Holographic field, but Ami had never seen such a thing. She stops the ship, and then accelerates towards the Island. Feeling no need to hold back, Ami pushes the throttle all the way down. The Driena thrusts itself foward, the two thrust-exhaust pipes pushing out masses of energy to propell the sleek chrome ship fowards. The sheer aerodynamics of the ship are astounding, something elves are known well for. Power and durability, while maintaining beauty and lightness. At full speed, the airship took only a few minutes to reach the island. She swoops the Driena up, as to avoid the shore, and switches the propellers onto full, so the Airship can hover. The thrust-exhaust pipes retract back into the hull of the ship--The last thing Amidriena wanted to do was anger anyone by burning them with the thrust pipes. She found an empty concrete space, and lowered the Driena down, creating a halo of dust around the landing site. The airship touches down, and the engines slow down. They fall to almost silent, producing only a slight hum. Ami takes a deep breath, and gets up out of her chair. She checks her swords are in their sheaths on her belt, and makes sure her crossbow is slung in it's sheath over her back. Ami wasn't really sure what to expect, hostility-wise. She'd never dealt with humes before. Gulping, she opens the hatch. It lowers slowly to the ground, and rests, letting off a tiny hiss of steam from it's pneumatic system. Ami steps out onto the ramp, and walks down. She sees two young male humes there, watching her. They seem to be the only ones around. Everyone else is in the complex. Nervously, Ami walks up to the two, smiling. She extends her hand, and awaits a response.
5. I've made the SPOILERS ridiculously hard to read... Final Fantasy VII: The death of Aeris. Possibly the biggest tear-jerker scene in Video game history. Quite frankly, nothing else comes close. Metal Gear Solid: I have to agree with Neil on this one. Frank Jaeger giving his life to save his former nemesis was astounding. Metal Gear Solid 2: Well, how many plot twists were there in this game? I'll just sum up the whole thing as one big plot twist. Final Fantasy IX: See; 'State of Emergency' State of Emergency: Returning it the next day! Sonic Series: The music. I love the music in this game. I love it. Final Fantasy VIII: I liked the bit where the Ultima Weapon rises up from the Deep Sea reasearch center--Actually, I liked the whole center in general. That bit was cool, and spooky.
6. This is a favourites topic, really, and is thus gonna get closed... *votes for self*
7. Rumpolump: Okay, everyone shut up. You're all insane. Lumporump, We have to judge the people who want to become our companions on our long and mystical quest to find the thing that's lost and stuff. Lumporump: Indeed. But surely, people will want an incentive? Rumpolump: Of course. Free pie. Lumporump: (I've taught him well...) Lumporump and Rumpolump sat back in their chairs, behind a desk, on the top of Ghuflllooloo Hill. Hanging on the front of a desk is a sign--'Adventurers required; Enquire above. Free pie'.
8.
Originally posted by Sephiroth I seem to be doing a lot of all nighters these days, I have Tekken 4 to blame....
You think it's bad now, just wait until little June wakes up at 1am and wants to play with you for a few hours... ;)
9. There'd be a whole lot of Slumber parties. And eventually, everyone would just walk around naked. And I would be at peace. As for the Wars thing... Yeah, it's in the nature of Human kind to destroy ourselves... One gender or another...
10. Vulcan Raven wasn't a maniac, he was a shaman, and very spiritual. Psycho Mantis was a maniac.
11. Flash

Signs

Well, the Movie mentions New Zealand at some point, so yeah, I might go and see it.
12. Rumpolump: What did you just call me? Lumporump: You heard me! You're a Whipper-Snapper, through and through! Rumpo's eyes swelled up with anger. His small, pink, fluffy body suddenly seemed intimidating to the old wizard. He lifted up his short right arm, a small twig grasped tightly in it. Lumporump recoiled in fear, as Rumpolump brought his arm down swiftly, and pointed the stick directly at Lumporump's face. Rumpolump: bebebebebebebebeb.... HA! A massive flash of light erupted from the stick. Then, a few moments afterwards, a turnip materialised in the sky. It began to fall, gravity pulling it down towards Rumpolump's head... Rumpolump looked up, realising there wasn't enough time for him to react... He flailed his arms about, screaming, as the turnip bonked him on the head, making a novel 'bloop' sound as it bounced off and landed on the ground next to him. Rumpolump grabbed the spot where the turnip hit him, and howled in pain... For his skull was Turnip intolerant.
13. Revolver Ocelot; Sean Connery Psycho Mantis; A very thin Bruce Willis? Vulcan Raven; That really big black guy, who's in that movie! *smashes head into desk while trying to think of name* Sniper Wolf; Anna Kournikova! Grey Fox/Frank Jaegar; William Dafoe Liquid Snake; Malcolm McDowell Solid Snake; Michael McManus Meryl; I dunno.... Kirsten Dunst? Ayumi Hamasaki? Otacon; James Spader Most of those were... right of the top of my head..
14. My old Text & Information management teacher always used to go on at me to use the home keys. She said stuff like 'Connor, don't press G with the F finger' and all this other crap that I just barely listened to. I don't care. I type with both my Index fingers, that's it. Sure, it's wierd, and the teacher moaned a whole lot, but then when I got 85 words per minute in the typing test... Ha. Showed her.
15. I don't even mean to pull all nighters. One time I was just playing Tanarus, and then I looked out the window and I was all like '****! The sun's coming up!'. That was kinda funny.
16. Probably the skill. But duh, of course there was 'Wht. MAGIC' in FFI.
17.
Originally posted by Sephiroth Spiderman will make you gay.... http://www.b3ta.com/spidermanwillmakeyougay/
It's scary, but Sephy here is right... http://www.penny-arcade.com/view.php3?date=2002-05-06&res=l Of course, that's not to say I don't like Spider-man.
18. Flash swerved his Esperanto to avoid an oncoming Diablos stallion. It spun out, and crashed into a lampost. Flash turned and looked out the rear view mirror. The rumblers were in close pursuit. Were it not for Warlock and Neil's sharpshooting, they would have caught up by now. Flash turns right, onto the sidewalk next to the ocean. No cars in the way. He takes his hands off the steering wheel, and grabs a shotgun from next to his seat. He opens the compartment inbetween the two front seats, where an opened packet of blue shotgun shells lays scattered. He grabs eight, and loads them into the Shotgun quickly, with ease. He's used to it. He loads it, and passes it to Neil, all while steering back onto the main road. Flash: Neil! This one's got eight explosive slugs loaded. Don't waste them! Neil: Right. Neil smiles, and throws his old shotgun at one of the Rumblers. With lightning speed, he aims the Explosive shotgun and fires at his old one. The explosive slugs hit the shotgun, which is sitting on the bonnet of one of the rumblers. The explosion sets off the shells in the shotgun, creating an even bigger explosion. The rumbler flips foward, then hits one of the pylons that holds up El Train tracks. It spins like crazy, slamming into the side of a Bus on the other lane. The bus buckles, and slams backwards, crushing all the passengers, and at least ten bystanders on the sidewalk. Flash: Mass murder. Great. Neil: You can clear it, you're the ATF chief. 'Sides, you're the one who told me to use it. Relax. Flash: Hold on... Warlock got inside the car to reload, and it was just as well. Neil saw what Flash was doing, and managed to duck inside before he was beheaded. Flash pulled a sharp left, and headed for a mound of earth inbetween the two lanes of the callahan bridge. Just before the mound was a steel t-bar. If Neil hadn't ducked inside, it would have ripped his head from his body, as the Esperanto just cleared it. In a second, they hit the mound. It acted as a ramp, which sent the car soaring into the air, followed by four remaining Rumblers. Warlock cursed as he saw the Russians had made the jump as well. Thankfully, the Bobcats were too big to clear the t-bar, and stopped. The Esperanto landed, hard. Flash put on all the brakes, turned right at the same time, and prayed that he wouldn't flip over. Thankfully, a Triad fishvan cushioned him, as it was wedged between his Esperanto and the wall of a building. The left side of the car was scratched and dented, but it was in full working order. For now. Flash gunned the motor, and sped off, as the Russians regained their posture after the hard landing, and followed them. They were on the Callahan bridge, and had one place left to run--Yakuza territory.
19. Why is the Australian $2 Coin smaller than the $1 coin? That's just stupid. Oh, and be sure to get him a Steve Iriwn action figure/plushie.
20.
Originally posted by Desbreko Most of the time, yes, it seems that way, but not in my case! I started with FFVII, then played FFIV (FFII on the SNES), then moved on to FFVI (FFIII on the SNES), and then FFIX. My favorite it FFVI, then FFIV, then FFVII, then FFIX. I'll probably get around to playing FFV pretty soon, and I'm betting it'll be up there with FFVI and FFIV on my list of favorites. 8- and 16-bit graphics can beat all those fancy polygons anyday! :p
Heh, I'm the same way. I played FFVII first. (after I watched NeoC play it--and it totally ruined the game. While everyone else was mourning and crying over Aeris' Death, I was sitting there saying, 'Aeris should be dieing right about... Now.'.) But after FFVII, I played FFVIII, and then I got the ROMs and started playing the old school ones. I played FFV, and then went back and did FFI, II, III, IV, and then VI. Then FFIX and X came out and made me hate squaresoft. n_n
Originally posted by Desbreko Oh, and Flash, Nuke is in FFIV. It's the most powerful black magic spell, short of Meteo (which takes so long to cast it's not worth it), in the game. And does FFI have White, eh? That happens to be my favorite spell in the whole series. :p
I know that. FFIV is oldschool, so of course it'd have a cool spell lke Nuke in it. ^_^ And what'd yop mean about white? White's a spell? Odd name for a magic spell, really. o_O;
21. Name: Rumpolump McBebbies Place of origin: Shibbidy-Dibbidy-Boo Weapon: A small stick, and a 110mm Automatic Rotary Cannon with lazer sighting, thermal imaging, and 20,000 rounds of ammunition. Obviously, he uses the stick for the most part. Trade: Apprentice to the grand high wizard, Lumporump. Can't cast magic for crap though. Age: 10 Bio: Rumpolump is apprentice to the grand high wizard Lumporump. He's totally insane, but has odd moments of wisdom and intellect. Often makes fun of Lumporump, because he usually knows more about the situation than he does.
22.
Originally posted by NeoCactuar What about Ultima, Holy, Bio, Tornado, Flare and many other greats..? Flash... you still won't convince me that FFI - FFVI is as good as, or better than FFVII - FFX.
I'm not here to convince, NeoC, just to enlighten... :mumbling: It's not my fault you became a Tidus Fanboy... :p
23. Flash tightens his grip on his magnum, and moves his eyes over to Warlock, who's holding his Uzis, fingers on the triggers... There was a silence, and the 3 stared each other down. Flash: Neil Jiharu. Neil: Agent Flash... We meet again. Flash: You're with the Yakuza still? Neil: My loyalty doesn't change so easily, Flash. Good thing you've on good terms with Asuka and Hiro, or I'd have killed you in seven different ways by now. Flash: Heh. Without even facing him, Neil aimed his Handgun at Warlock's head. Neil: The kid's with the Italians. How can you trust him? Flash: I'm on call for an illegal firearm offence. 'Warlock' here is doing recon into Russian territory. Neil: The Yakuza and the Leones are sworn enemies, and that's the way it's always been. I'm gonna have to off him. Warlock: What the hell? You think I'm just gonna sit here and let you pop a cap in my forehead? Christ, you're as stupid as-- Warlock's words were cut off by the sound of a motor revving loudly. Spotlights turned on the three from the docks... Lazer sights trailed everywhere around them, and Russian gang cars pulled out from the gate... The soviets had Bobcats with Gunners in the back of them, and Rumblers with Gunners riding shotgun. They'd heard the noise. Over a megaphone, one Russian shouts out at the three... Russian: It would beink wise to stay out of our business, Komrades. But as it seems you like to pry into matters that do not koncern you... This is far over your heads... prishit' these baklany... Warlock: What the hell was that? Flash: He pretty much told the Russian Cartel to kill us. Flash ran for his Esperanto, and jumped in. Warlock followed. Flash leaned out the window and shouted for Neil to get in... Lazers were everywhere, and a spray of bullets was covering the area... Neil gritted his teeth, and looked back at the onslaught of Russians heading towards him. He rolled his eyes, and ran for the ATF Esperanto, getting in the passengers seat. He leant out the window, and returned fire at the Russians. Warlock, in the back seat, did the same, while Flash began the drive... Neil: This is no truce, Leone. But I'd rather live to kill another day then die here by these Russian scum. As for Flash... Well... We go back a bit. But I'm just letting you know, as soon as this whole thing is over, I'm going to kill you. Warlock: We'll see. Flash took a tight turn, and headed towards Saint Marks...
24. Job System was first used in FFIII for the NES, I think... Might've been FFII. Whichever had the Onionkids in it. Oh, and just fo' yo' info', FFI had the best magic in the series to date. Did any of the other games have spells such as NUKE, ZAP!, and XXXX? I think not... ;)
25. No plot, no thought... *sigh* Try harder next time.
