Dude... He's 19. Birthday >> March 22, 1983 Last time I checked, 2002 - 19 = 1983... Get your facts right before you start 'judging' people. As for the matter at hand... What can I say? :(
2.
Originally posted by Carren Heart whats the HV ??
And RPG that was started way back on V2 called 'Hybrid Vigor'... It's had two sequels, Meteo City, and Meteo City 2, the second one is still around now.. Oh well. Just sorta odd, I guess. Carry on.
3. Is it just me, or does this remind anyone else of the original HV...? It's very, very similar..
4. Prince: I call upon a Skeletal Mage! The corpse of a nearby Zombie rips open and explodes, sending a splatter of blood and guts in a 3 metre radius of the decaying body... A lone Skeletal mage rises from the gore, an aura of fire covering both his hands... The mage joins with another 2 Skeletons that Prince has called, now forming a small army of 3 undead warriors to do his bidding... He stands atop a high hill, and sees something in the distance... Prince: That must be Kurast... Excellent. Come, my warriors.. Skeletal Warrior: .... Skeletal Mage: .... Skeletal Warrior 2: .... Prince: That's right.. You can't talk... Heh... Prince leads the way down the hill, and his loyal ressurected soldiers follow..

Gundam: A new Age

OOC: Never posted? Me? I'll soon fix that. ---------------------- In a remote part of North-eastern Siberia, a resonably small Cargo Transport ship begins to descend to the surface... As it nears the ground, it's large hover panels activate, and it's thrusters shut off. It kicks up massive clouds of dust around the tundra, as it lands on the cold, cracked surface of the road, what was once the main street down a small town... But this town is now no more than an abandoned ghost town, scarred with war and chaos... The ship stays at a constant .6 metres off of the ground, making close to no noise... As the main door slides open, a lone figure comes into view... A man wearing a dark grey trenchcoat, and Soviet-style hat.. He is smoking a cigarette, but throws it on the ground, and then jumps out of the vessel, landing on the butt, and crushing it with the heel of his boot... He looks around, keeping his hands thrust deep inside his pockets... He walks down the wartorn street, glancing from time to time at the ruins of the once peaceful village, where he had been raised... He reaches the end of the street, and in the middle of an intersection there sits a rusted manhole cover, which he picks up, and places next to the hole... He climbs down, pulling the cover back over his head... He reaches the bottom of the ladder, and turns around... In front of him is a small community, of 10 to 15 people, all living in this small underground shelter, hidden deep under various layers of strong armour, and radar scrambling stealth modules... Technically, this place didn't exist. The figure in the trenchcoat smiled, and took off his hat, letting his long white-grey hair fall messily down his back... Woman: Prince! You're home! The woman runs up to Prince, and embraces him in a huge hug... He smiles, and laughs, returning the hug tightly... Prince: Aunt Velika! It's so good to see you! Some men from around the shelter gather around to greet Prince... They all shake hands, and exchange greetings and condoments... Even in the midst of all the terror and fear going on in the world around them, for this moment, they are all truely happy.. Prince: Ivan, Nicolai, Slavik... It's so good to see you all so healthy and well. But where's... He looks behind the men, and sees a beautiful blonde woman, about 19... She smiles at him, and he smiles back, looking into her emerald eyes... He runs up to her, and the two embrace, both overcome with joy and rapture to see each other... The two share a long kiss, before finally speaking... Prince: Narkissa... I wasn't sure If I'd ever see you again.. Narkissa: Same here... Prince.. Are you home? I mean, are you staying here? For good? Prince: ...Narkissa... Narkissa: Oh, Prince.. She falls into Prince's arms, quietly sobbing, as he cradles her... He too is crying, a single tear rolling down his face... He blinks a few times, trying to hide it... Prince: Narkissa... I cannot return, until my work is done... Narkissa: And when will that be, Prince? Prince: ...When we can all go back up to the surface, and live in peace. I promise you, my Narkissa, that day will come soon... The two hug again, for a long time... After 20 minutes, a man walks into the room, and taps Prince on the shoulder... Prince looks at him. It's Boris, Narkissa's father. His face is in a somewhat disapproving frown, but his eyes say otherwise... They seem to smile themselves, happy to see Prince and Narkissa together again.. Prince: Mr. Sterginov... Boris: Ha ha... Call me Boris, my Lad... Now Prince... There's someone you're forgetting about... Prince: Is he awake? Boris: Of course. He's waiting for you. Prince smiles, and runs into the next room... He pulls up a seat next to an old man, lying in a bed... He looks tired, and very old... He sees Prince, and smiles... Old man: Flash... It's so good to see you... Prince: They call me Prince now, Grandpa. Grandpa: Oh, that doesn't matter... How have you been, my boy? Prince: Fine, fine.. And you, Grandpa? Grandpa: Ha, I've seen better days... Prince... I must tell you something. Prince: What is it, Grandpa? Grandpa: Prince, I expect that you know that I'm passing away... Prince: Don't say that, Grandpa! You know it's not-- Grandpa: Ah, but it is true... You must accept that. I know I have. Prince: .... Grandpa: Don't worry about me, Prince... I'm just an old man who's far past his expiry date, heh heh... *cough* *cough* Prince: Grandpa.. I don't want to even think about losing you.. Grandpa: Bah! Forget about me. Just look out there... Prince turns around, and sees Narkissa outside, talking to her Father and Aunt Velika... Her beautiful face, wonderful deep green eyes... She was perfect.. Grandpa: You've got Narkissa.. She's an amazing girl.. Smart, Beautiful, Caring... Prince: You're right.. Grandpa: Of course I'm right! I'm always right about these things... Prince: Heh heh.. Grandpa: Flash-- Prince: Prince. Grandpa: That's what I said; Prince... Prince, you and Narkissa are made for each other. You should settle down. Stop piloting Cossack, and come and live here... At least it's peaceful here, underground... Prince: I don't want to live Underground anymore, Grandpa! I want to live back up on the surface, like when we were kids! Grandpa: Fla--Prince... You're strong willed, but thick headed. You're chasing an impossible dream. Prince: We'll see Grandpa, we'll see.. Prince stands up, and gives his grandfather a hug before exiting his bedroom... He walks back into the main hall, where Narkissa walks up to him... Everyone else stands back, giving the couple some privacy... Prince: Narkissa... I have to go now.. But don't worry. I'll be back soon... No 6 month wait this time, eh? Narkissa: ...alright... I'll... I'll miss you, Prince.. She flings herself into his arms again, and the two hold each other for a moment that could seem like eternity... After this forever in a few seconds, they let go, and Prince takes his leave... But before he does, Narkissa runs up to him, and fiddles around with his hair some... She puts it in a ponytail at the back, and cuts it off, and throws some gel in the long bangs on his forehead... Narkissa: You should wear it up like that. It suits you. Prince: Heh heh.. Thanks, Narkissa... Narkissa: Prince... Prince: I love you... Narkissa: I love you too.. And with that, Prince smiles, and turns around, climbing back up the long ladder he came down, back up to the surface, and back up to his Vessel... He gets in the drivers seat, and takes off, as quickly as he can, leaving no trace of his visit but a smouldering cigarette butt on the icy cold ground... He hits the auto pilot button, and walks to the back of the cockpit, looking into the large window that overlooks the cargo hold... And there lies Cossack Gundam, in all its glory... Prince: Heh... Well at least I have you, eh comrade? The ship switches on it's radar jammers and activates it's secondary thrusters, leaving earth's atmosphere while avoiding detection... Prince looks out the port side window at Russia, knowing that he may very well return...
6. Flash: Heaven comes soon. Warlock: ...And Hell is soon to follow. The massive window in the Control room of Meteo looks out over earth, and in the far distance, Venus... The peace and tranquility of it all is relaxing, and at the same time, so very omnious... In the direct center of the room sits a small stand... The stand is connected to various tubes and wires, all of which extend into the unseen space above, in the dark lofts of the control room. Flash walks over to the stand, and gets onto it's alcove, resting his back against the rear wall of the stand. A holographic display presents itself in front of him, a small red handprint... Flash presses his hand onto this one, and it glows green, and makes a strange accepting noise... 6 holographic shapes appear in front of him, each of them performing a specific function... He picks one of the options, which in turn brings up a submenu... With lightning speed, he goes through various menus, thousands if not millions of characters of text flashing past him every second.. And here he is, processing it all in an instant... Flash: Ha ha... That's right, brother... Heaven comes soon.. In bold red lettering, a timer appears in the bottom right corner of the massive window... Days, hours, minutes, seconds and milliseconds, all dropping like sands through an hourglass... 00:23:59:59:59
7. Elec: Plant, use your plant shield to cover yourself and Wood... Magnet and I will take care of these little insects. Plant: Understood. Plant holds his hands outwards, and 8 large objects shoot out... At first glimpse they look remarkably like petals, but on closer inspection, appear to be metal spheres, pink with yellow spots... The spheres all begin to glow green, small crackles of electricity occasionally bursting from them, connecting to another one of the spheres, all circling around Plant and Wood... This is Plant's special, the Plant Shield, very similar to Wood's Leaf Shield... Flash: Damn... That shield is invulnerable... Omega: Oh really? Well it's worth a shot... We can't afford to lose... Omega peers over the top of the fallen tree trunk that the Hunters are taking cover behind, and aims his buster at Plant's shield... Flash follows his lead, as do Proteus and Slash... All four hunters fire at once, sending a massive burst of buster energy towards the Shield... It crashes into it, releasing a huge amount of force, throwing the hunters back, and even causing Magnet and Elec to stumble and fall... When the light clears, the Hunters look to assess the damage... But soon realise there is none. The Plant shield crackles once or twice, but then returns to it's transperant green hue... Proteus: No damage... The shield wasn't even phased. It probably absorbed the energy... Slash: Then what can we do? Flash: Well the Plant Shield may be Invulnerable to most attacks, we have three options. I know we might stand a chance with Blunt weapons... Also, Plant can't attack while the shield is up... And finally, that thing does have a limited ammo cache, so eventually it will deactivate by itself, and start recharging... You with me? Omega: But it's not that simple.. What about Elec and Magnet? Flash: Avoid their attacks at all cost. Their new Electromagnetic attacks will seriosuly affect us if we get too close... For now, that's the only thing we can do... Unless anyone can think of anything el-- A huge pulse of invisble energy pummels into the tree trunk, crushing it with ease... A few electric bolts spark off of the impact zone... Flash's eyes widen in horror.. Elec and Magnet have already started using their new weapon, a syncronised buster system... They begin to charge again, almost ready to fire another stealth pulse...
8.
Originally posted by The Darkness Bu eek sorry you may close this right away sir flash I just thought that a tournament wouldn't need a backstory.
Well they don't really, but a bit of description would be nice. And like I said, a Sign-up sheet... I'll leave it open, just post the nessecary stuff.
9. Wow, you obviously put SO much thought into this. No sign-up sheet, no backstory, no nothing.. This isn't a RPG, a Spar... This hardly even constitutes as a post. Perhaps you should rethink this a little better next time.
10. Connor: Can you feel that? Dread: I can... It's... Very far away, but it feels deadly... And the sheer amount of power... Connor: What can we do? Dread: I have no idea... Could we defeat it, together? Connor: Somehow I don't think so. It can only be Xero.. Dread: Y-yes.. Damn him.. Connor: That force... It's coming here, isn't it? Dread: Most likely... Connor: Then it's settled. I have to gather everyone. Connor puts his fingers on his forehead, sending out a blaring Psychic message to everyone... Telling them to all gather in the center of the main arena...
11. Flash looks at Wood, who glares back at him, smirking... But his smirk slowly falls into a puzzled expression. He keeps his buster aimed at the group, but moves his head around to get a better look at Flash... Elec looks slightly confused as well... Wood: ...Flash? Flash: Woodman. Wood: Ha ha... I was, once... And it appears that you are also upgraded. Are you here for Dr. Wily as well? Flash: I don't know what you're talking about. Dr. Wily is dead.. I'm the Field Commander of the Maverick Hunters, 2nd Squadron. My past is dead. Wood: You always were a fool, Flash. You plan to fight us? Your brothers? Father will be so pleased to see you... dead. Flash: You're not my Brothers. And Dr. Wily is not my Father. You're all nothing to me anymore... Flash clicks his wrist, and his Terra Fatalis beam sabre shoots out from underneath his glove... He grabs it, and it switches on automatically... The glowing green beam spurts a few bolts of energy, before fading out... Flash: What the... Elec: Kyahaha! Elec man flips down from the tree branch he is standing on... Another Replimaster follows him... Magnet... The two stand on either side of Wood, back to back... Magnet: I see you're feeling the full effects of our EMP field... The Ions in your sabre can't stabilise, rendering it useless here. Flash: Dammit... So you two are working together, eh? Elec: That's right. Working in a group is so much more effective, don't you think? Magnet: By combining our forces, we've created the ultimate Electromagnetic weapon. Omega: Electromagnetic?! Proteus: Such a weapon would be chaotic if unleashed... Elec: Haha! You're absolutely right. Now if you'll excuse us.. Elec and Magnet both jump high into the air, bursting off in a blast of light, powered by their own electric and magnetic energy... The group is left with Wood. From out of the Shadows, another Replimaster, Plant... Connected to Plant's wrists are massive green cables, 3 on each arm, with powerful electric claws on the end... Slash: Another one? Flash: Okay everyone, be on guard... We got a good ol' shootout on our hands.. (Oh boy, am I regretting leaving my G-Shield in Alpha...)
12.
Originally posted by ShadowGohan At the moment, I'm stuck in Fossil Roo on FFIX... there's probably some really easy solution to it...
Fossil Roo is the devil. :P Sadly I haven't played 9 that much, so I can't help ya on that part, SG..
13.
Originally posted by Sephiroth I disagree, ff9 was the easiest in my opinion....
Yeah, FF9 was kinda easy... I suppose it all really just comes down to personal opinion.
14. Bah, kuja and HN are both wrong. FFVIII was so ridiculously easy it hurts to think about it.
15. Sounds good... I'm in. Name: 'Prince' Flash Golosticheck Age: 21 Height: 6'2" Bio: Born into poverty in Irkutsk, Siberia. Flash found his Gundam in an abandoned underground hangar at the age of 8. Ever since, he and his grandfather (his only living relation) had restored and upgraded it, bringing it to it's current state of glory. He earned the nickname 'Prince' through his amazing nobility and honour. Description: Personality: Strong willed, noble, and very open about his feelings. Always gets his point across, and can seem aggrogant at times. Gundam: I hope that's enough Info. :)
16.
Originally posted by jcgoudy Hey Flash! Are you ever going to have those questions done?! It's been, what, two weeks? And you said you'd probably have them almost a week ago... What's going on here?
Well, alot of bad stuff has gone down, and I'm just not up to it right now... :( This may resurface sometime in the future, when I'm up to it... Sorry guys. :(
17. Well, I can't think of anything that strange... But I've been known to slip off to sleep multiple times while playing various GTA games... Me: *holding down X button* Zzzz... Cousin: Connor! Me: *wakes up* Wha? Oh... *holds down X button* Zzzz... Cousin: Connor! Repeat 20 times. Then I went to bed. But I think I slept on the ground next to my bed.. I was tired.. oO;
18. Trance... I tried house and dance once, but it just wasn't anywhere near as good, IMHO. What's this 'jungle'? I don't know that much about Techno, really... ^_^;
19.
Originally posted by Nerdsy ... I was in front of the computer and/or T.V. screen all week. I know I have no life.
Heh, sounds like I've found a kindred spirit, so to speak..
20. Well I'll steal Piro's Idea... And by the way, I live in a detached room, connected to the garage. This means I can do whatever, whenever! :D Well, most of the time... :shifty: And here's the pic.
21. Well I use default, but wait for James to make a 'Soviet Russia' style setting.. ^_^
22.
Originally posted by Dragonballzman Also, whats the difference between Fire and Flame?
Well, attached is a pic of what they looked like back when they were Robot masters... Right is Flame, Left is Fire, and Middle is stone. And the key difference is that Flame has one buster, Fire has two, and Fire is generally superior, due to his age and experience... ------------------- Flash's squad moves further and further into the jungle, not knowing of the high-powered static field they were walking into. The energy field blocked all incoming and outgoing general wavelength messages. No form of communication could pass through it... But they didn't know this. They continue into the forest...
23.
Originally posted by James Usually, the main issue is that being in a rural area, the phonelines are worse quality than those in metropolitan areas. My modem is very fickle; sometimes it will go incredibly fast (14kb per second download) and sometimes it will go amazingly slow (500bytes per second download) -_- So for me, it's a gamble whenever I connect lol. But usually, if it's slow...I just have to reconnect a few times and that seems to get it going. :drunk:
Aye, ye speaks much truth, Mister James. Same thing happens to me...
24.
Originally posted by Warlock Start boss music, turn screen wavey, and began to the battle...
heh, this isn't an FF game, 'Locky... ;) And remember everyone, Replimasters are NOT EASY to defeat. Don't treat them as pushovers... Some of them are especially hard to beat, and unfortunately for you Warlock, Stone is one example. Good luck using a *snicker* sabre against someone with inpenatrible armour... ----------------
25. Flash: Okay, move up... Omega, Proteus, Slash and Flash all head over the grassy plain, and into the thick forest, not knowing who or what they might find... The forest is mysteriously quiet, no sound apart from that made by the hunters themselves... Flash creeps foward, his buster set to 'floodlight', with the lazer sight turned on... It is very dark in the forest, and without the floodlight, vision is very unclear, even with vision enhancers.. The thick mist of the forest floor was affecting the squads visual sensors, and reducing the accuracy of their judgement... The group travels further into the forest, not realising the danger that awaits...
