2. I wanted to pick up XXXHolic manga when I get the chance to. T_T My addiction costs too much money :3 Also Death Note manga
3. I absolutely dislike in every way possible Bobobo-bo Bo-bobo and also hate One Piece for reasons already listed. I wasn't too much into Steel Angel Kurumi. I think the art work is lovely but it's such a wasted plot line. I don't know what it is about that anime that I hate so much. Probably the fact that it's too... ehhh... revealing. I don't really understand why people would like it (no offense to anyone that does!). It's probably aimed towards the male audience though -.- Though I liked Please Teacher! Whatever. I don't know haha. My male friend gave me that anime to watch and after the first disc, I just shut it off.
4. All in all otaku's just a term for a person who is overly-obsessive with his or her hobby (most commonly for manga or anime though). And yeah, they are thought to be antisocial and loner-like.
But i was wandering if anyone relates to Japanese otaku, not just through a love of anime, but through being singled out as geeky and anti-scoial?
I really don't know many people who are both obsessive over anime and a loner. My friends who are into anime tend to be... crazy and talkative. I, myself, am crazy and talkative haha. So, to answer your question, no I'm not really singled out or anti-social in any sort. I'm a geek for sure. I'm an A+ student, I play video games, I read manga, I looooove Star Wars.. I can keep going.. but definitely not a loner.
5.
Like I said, I'd reccommend it to fans of stuff like Paranoia Agent or Boogiepop Phantom [/B']
I will have to try it out. I've watched Paranoia Agent in the past and found it amusing :) Thanks a lot.
6. Well you should most definitely finish Kingdom Hearts 2. It was so fun and I loved the plot. I haven't yet played FF12, but I'm sure that has a great plot also. I'd hope that you would finish them! Dawn of Mana looks really good but it just came out so it's probably high up there on price. I'm not too much into the other ones though. .Hack GU doesn't look too bad. I'd say save your money and finish your 2 games. But if it was me I'd probably end up buying a game... haha.
7. I've never seen this show but it seems so hard to follow. Is it really worth watching or more of a whatever sort of thing? If you honestly think it's worth watching, I will try and get a hold of it. Thanks :)
8. I'm not really sure if people have crushes on characters in anime but it's quite possible. I just find myself liking one character more than another. My friends act like they have crushes on all sorts of anime characters, but I think it's more of a favorite character. I guess some characters are so close to perfect, people fall in love with their personality. Book characters can be that way too... it's all about the personality really. I know that some think characters from anime is hot, and why not? If they have some sort of attributes that you think is great... then think what you must!
