I was wandering what everyones favorite anime intros were, so I finally dedided to make a thread for it. Just tell us the top anime intros that you think are the best and a reason behind why you like them, please. Heres what I got 1. [U]Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex[/U]-Inner Universe Simply because I think it has to be one of the best intros by far, the whole visual aspect of the intro made me want to watch it, even though the show had bored me a bit and was very confusing. The song was'nt Japanese either, but it fit with the intro itself, and was simply nicely done. 2. [U]Paranoia Agent[/U]- Dream Island Obsessional Park I love this intro alot because it was different from everything else that I've seen. The music seemed a bit crazy to go along with the people standing in the most bizarre of places, it definitely kept my attention. 3. [U]Cowboy Bebop[/U]- Tank This is an awesome intro, the music by far makes it one of my favorites, Yoko Kanno is a great composer, and Tank is a great song to prove that. 4. [U]Beck[/U]- Hit in the US I loved this intro mainly because the characters of Beck were singing the song in the title credits, Hit in the US, and the song itself is very cool. I think the intro also shows what you're in for when you're going to watch the anime, by them playing there instruments and singing in the credits the whole time. 5. [U]Elfen Lied[/U]- Lilium Even though I never really watched much of the anime, simply at the fact that I was annoyed by how much nudity there was in it, I enjoyed the intro surprisingly alot. The song and visual was very beautiful and mysterious. 6. [U]Evangalion[/U]- Cruel Angel Thesis I heard so much about this one from my friends yet I never really got into watching the anime, but I took at some of the episodes, and experincing the intro, I loved the song alot, 7. [U]Samurai X[/U]- Sobakasu I'm pretty sure it's the second intro to Samurai X(Rurouni Kenshin) Correct me if I'm wrong, but I pretty much picked it because it was one of my favorite anime and the song is so fun to sing along with, even the english version of it is great too. 8. [U]Tenjou Tenge[/U]- Bomb a Head I loved the upbeat opening of this anime, even though I didn't finish watching it, I enjoyed it thoroughly and the song was great and went well with the intro. 9.[U] Fullmetal Alchemist[/U]- Rewrite I had a tough time choosing between Ready Steady Go, and Rewrite, but in the end I chose the 4th intro to FMA. I love all the action in the last bits of it, and how it picks up in the beginning. 10.[U] Samurai Champloo[/U]- Battlecry I love the song, it reminds me of some sort of Hip hop kind of theme, with a japanese mix in it. Goes well with the anime itself, since it revolves around samurai and has a upbeat style to it.

I've witnessed Genshiken not to long ago, and I thought it was very cool and different from everything else I've been watching lately. Some of those people in the anime actually remind me of a few friends in r/l, and it gave me a more knowledge on japanese anime life style. They had good comedy in it as well, I don't know if I had any particular favorite character though. As for Genshiken 2, I've yet to see it, which I should probably do sometime soon before I forget.

This is horrible news, Geneon had been 1 of my favorites too, too bad for us Americans I guess, we must go along with the other companys, but Im not going to stop watching the anime Geneon has given us already, they did a excellent job.

You must be talking about Baki the Grappler, he has red hair, and..um..the rest of it I'm sure of, though I didn't really watch it at all.

My bad habits while watching an anime, I start talking to the tv half the time..lol...or to myself :animestun.

I always like something with supernatural, fantasy, romance and comedy. My fav. anime always will be Yu Yu Hakusho, great supernatural/comedy series. I also enjoyed Basilisk, great action/romance scenes...storyline was almost like a rome x juliet ninja thing. And a new anime I recently started watching, Higurashi no Naku Koro ni, I can't say to much about it from this point until I watch more...

Back in the mid 90's when I was going through grade school, every weekday I came home I'd look for something like cartoons on to watch, and I ended up coming across Pokemon/Sailor Moon at that time, and somewhere in there I watched Zoids too.:animesmil

Hmm..lets see, I've been lately watching, Black Cat (almost finished with it!), Elemental Gelade (almost finished here 2), Fate/Stay Night(Just started watching it yesterday), GunXsword (going to watch today), Tsubasa(Only seen the first dvd of it :animecry:), Naruto Shippuden, Haruhi Suzumiya(Watched first 3 dvd's of it), Ergo Proxy(Just started watching it). I've been reading alot of my friends manga lately, which is La' Corde De' Oro, Kitchen Princess, and Matamo Kiss. And some others I've gotten into are Punch!, Red River, Absolute Boyfriend, Yurara, Millenium Snow, Ayashi No Ceres, The Wallflower.:animesigh so thats pretty much it right now, heh ^^.

I was so close this time to getting them all! I had to narrow it down to those 2 furuba guys, It was obvious..but I guess I picked the wrong 1 this time :animesigh owell 1. Blue 2. Red 3. Yellow 4. Black
