I used to watch that show all the time when I had cable and I loved it. It looked truly scary and I would NEVER be on that show. You have alot of guts if you think you can do it. I'm pretty much a big chicken anyway. I like the commercial for the show, too, because they play "The Prison Song" by System of a Down. :D

Not giving up or just plain Bull-Headed?
Queen Asuka replied to Jamvis's topic in General Discussion
Originally posted by Aries Thats true, if the relationship fails then that would be great for her (sorry for the other one), but if it is a good relationship, it is not her place to meddle (or was she just waiting?) if she just waits I don't think she will get much satisfaction. It all depends on the age though, like if it's one of those 12 yr old relationships she won't have to wait long :D
*Laughs* Yeah, that's pretty much true, I believe. As long as she's just waiting I think that's okay, unless she's denying herself the right to be happy. If she's all sulky and mopey and depressed and whiney, then she DEFINATELY needs to move on, ya know? But to each his own...I'm pretty sure that if I liked a guy enough, I'd want to wait for him. Of course, in my eyes, I have the perfect guy for me and I'm so happy it's not even funny... -
Anime If you were to be any Anime character out there.........
Queen Asuka replied to Krillen's topic in Otaku Central
Well, I stated earlier in the other thread what my combination would be. I couldn't be just ONE...ya know? But I like Asuka alot, she'd have to be my favorite as of this moment. And one of my friends drew me the cutest pic of her and I love it! Anywho... -
Originally posted by Aries I agree with that and I want to know to because I'm just so confused...
Well, use more than 10% of your brain! Nah, I'm just joking. It is confusing when you think about it. But I'm trying to sort it out in my own head. BY THE WAY!!!!!!!!!! I love your Vash banner! :D

Not giving up or just plain Bull-Headed?
Queen Asuka replied to Jamvis's topic in General Discussion
Yeah, but if she really likes the guy, then why would she want to give up? What if his relationship he's in right now eventually fails? Then it will be her chance to move in. That's what happened to one of my best friends, and I'm pretty sure she's glad she waited. But if it doesn't look like she's ever going to get the guy, I think she should consider her other options. -
I still believe that if your parents are over protective, at least you know they care about you and your wellbeing. Some kids would kill to be able to say that they're parents actually gave a crap about where they were.
Originally posted by Cera But seriously...how do they know what 10% activity is? And does it mean that we only use that 10% for conscious thought, or what? You brain controls everything you do. Thought, memory, personality, it's the nerve center, controlling all your actions... "Ten percent" means nothing to me if there are no words associated with it.
I agree with you, I just find that so hard believe that for our brain to control everything we do, that's the capacity of it that is actually used. I just don't want to believe that. Call me stubborn if you like, but I want to see where it is stated, what the experiment done was, and so forth.

Anime What anime charature would you call you ALTER EGO
Queen Asuka replied to TarMeg1989's topic in Otaku Central
My anime alter ego would be a combination of a few people. Yurika from Nadesico because she's so super crazy, Washu from Tenchi because I'm pure genius, Asuka from EVA because I have a superiority complex and I feel I must be BETTER than everyone or that I'm worthless, Shampoo from Ranma because I'm super hyper and cute ^_^;; (j/k, that sounds so immodest), and Ed from Cowboy Bebop because she is the CUTEST little CRAZY kid, plus she's pure GENIUS! Yep, that's me in a nutshell! :D By the WAY, I think Shampoo and Mousse would be cute, too, but ONLY when he has his glasses off. -
What is the weirdest thing you have done in your sleep?
Queen Asuka replied to Ryan's topic in General Discussion
I don't think I've ever done anything super weird, but the people in my family sure have. Like, everyone in my house talks in their sleep, but no one has ever heard me do it. So I'm just like "Okay..." and once my Uncle Scott was asleep and he yelled out "Help me I'm faaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaallliiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiing....." and his voice faded out like he was falling off a cliff or something and then he hit the floor. That's the best story I ever heard. And then my dad was all like "Shut up before I slap you upside the head!" and my mom was awake and she said "For WHAT?" and he said "For cooking that nasty raunchy canned corn!" And we were like O.O;;; Okay...anywho...and Anna is notorious for talking in her sleep, too. :D :rotflmao: -
What Did U Think About Fight Club????
Queen Asuka replied to SSJ Gotenks ok's topic in General Discussion
Originally posted by PiroMunkie ... Not many people can actually figure out what Edward Norton's character's real name was, lol. It's really not that hard. It's really obvious actually. And despite popular belief, it's not Jack. It makes you wonder how many people actually noticed that they never gave out his real name. I didn't notice until the second or third time I saw it.
That was the first time I had seen the movie and me and Ryan had this conversation about what his real name was. I think it was Tyler. Wouldn't it be frickin Tyler? Is that what it really is because I really really really want to know. And where did Jack come from? I never thought that... -
My room has been described as "totally me" because "there is so much stuff going on, just like I have going on inside my head..." Yeah. But I need to take down my stuff and re-arrange it and redecorate...but here goes: My room is really small. I have bunk beds, a desk, two chairs (one with my tv on it, with my jewelry and accesories on it) and a bookshelf. The bookshelf contains my anime movies that I bought and my PSM magazines and the top of it is a display of my action figures, as is my desk. The floor...has my CD player and a box of anime movies I recorded or copied...and alot of OTHER junk... >.>;; My top bunk is all my clothes and MORE junk...and my WALLS...one wall is a BIG Heero Yuy poster and then my Washu/Tsunami wallscroll, and then the rest of the walls are plastered with anime pics, most of them being Ranma 1/2 and Gundam Wing/Heero pics. And then I always hang up the artwork that people give me because being an artist myself, I appreciate good artwork and I love it when people actually do pictures for me! :D So yeah, that sounds pretty much like my room...don't even WANT to get into the CLOSET or under the BED areas... Anime who's this guy from the picture????
Queen Asuka replied to G/S/B Master's topic in Otaku Central
Wow...he's pretty...but he's definately not from Escaflowne...it does look like it MIGHT be a fanfic drawing, but I don't know. I like silver hair on anime peoples...that's why Ruri's so cutesy... -
What Did U Think About Fight Club????
Queen Asuka replied to SSJ Gotenks ok's topic in General Discussion
I saw that movie about two weeks ago and I thought it was a brilliant idea. I loved it. The weird thing is though it got sort of old because the guy I'm dating was super OBSESSED with it, and he even went to the extreme of punching himself to see what it felt like... O.o;;; So I made him give it back to the person he was borrowing it from. But I still loved that movie. I just really HATED that one woman's hair...I just wanted her to BRUSH IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Anywho.... ^_^ -
Hmm....NOW, I had the WEIRDEST dream the day after I started this thread. I had watched Trigun, Angel Sanctuary, and Magic User's Club RIGHT before I went to sleep. I dreamed that I went to a magic school. And there was also a magic school for evil people, too. And we were on a scavenger hunt to see who could win first, sort of like good vs evil, ya know? And then there came up this big storm and we all hit the ground and the lightening was going everywhere and we were all freaking out and screaming and laying on the groun and it was dark outside, and I was partnered up with an evil guy, but then while we were waiting for the storm to pass, I somehow fell in love with him. Then the storm was over and I went inside of the house there because I REALLY had to go to the bathroom, and there was only enough water in the toilet for me to go, but there was clothes in it, so I had to pull all the clothes out and they were soaking wet with REALLY hot water, like the toilets had exploded or something. So then as I was going to the bathroom, all the other students kept walking by and giving me funny looks because all the walls had been knocked out by the storm...Yeah, go figure...someone explain that...although I do know I had to go to the bathroom when I woke up... O.o;; Anna, I laughed out loud at your dream, the part where he was running in the sunshine in a green dress...was that green dress your PROM dress? *laughs and laughs and laughs* :rotflmao:

My parents are average. They give me some rope, but not enough to hang myself. I'm glad that I have priviledges. This is because my parents trust me. I've never done anything to make them break their trust with me, and I always talk to my mom about everything, so she knows that I wouldn't do anything. I'm shocked that they let me go over to guy's houses and stuff, but they do. Of course, they have to meet the guy first and approve....my mom will also leave me at home alone with a guy because she trusts me that much. I'm glad my parents are the way they are. And if your parents are over-protective, at least you know that they actually care about you and pay attention to you. Of course, alot of VERY restricted children become very REBELLIOUS children...so good luck on life!
Originally posted by Anna Last year I was in Orlando at Disney World, and I was sitting on some bench waiting for my friends to finish a ride they were going to go on. I was looking around, people-watching, and I saw R Kelly. But then I thought, no, no way. But as I kept looking, watching, I realized it had to be R Kelly. Then I thought oh well, big deal, I'm probably just over-heating. But then a LOT of other people said they saw him as well later on. So I saw R Kelly, wow ^_^ he was about..........30 ft away from me, but who cares? :D
Gah, Anna, you STOLE mine, I was going to say that....darn it. Except, I didn't see R Kelly, I just heard about everyone else seeing him. But yeah, like Transtic said, it was Orlando, so celebrity sightings are probably an everyday thing.... One time my friend dressed up as Head from KoRn, she looked just like him...and this year she did Kurt Cobain of Nirvana...and she looked just like him, too...O.o;;; Do those count as celebrity look alikes?

Well, hold ON for a second...I think I'm seeing this from the sister's/friend's point of view. About two years ago or so, I started liking my best friend's brother. The three of us grew up together, so it was almost natural that me and this guy started going out. Well my best friend HATED that...she would invite me over, but then she would totally NOT talk to me, and she would leave me all by myself unless me and this guy broke up. She was my best friend, and she wasn't supporting that relationship, and I was really hurt. So, I think you should let your friend and your sister have a chance. If things aren't meant to be, they'll eventually break it off, and if he tries to do anything to her, you can kick his *****. Yeah, he might be a few years older than her, but if he really WANTS a relationship and just doesn't want to get laid, then I think you should give them a chance. He's your friend...

Hmmm...love...well, we've had so many threads about this...and Piromunkie seems to have the best analysis of the different types of love. I know that I want to say that I'm experiencing love...but what if other people don't agree that it's true love? But I'm thinking, yeah this must be....I shouldn't worry about how other people think of me anyway...to each his own...that's my favorite saying... But YES, love does hurt, but it's the goods things to makes it so great. If you worry about how it can hurt you, then you can never really experience what's in store for you. That's my point of view...

I totally agree with that....wrestling scares the crap out of me, and the Rock just totally got on my nerves....I never saw the Mummy Returns, so I guess I got pretty lucky there....I can't believe they actually put him in a movie...must have saw his wrestling gig and said "Hmm...he's pretty good at putting on a front...he's a GREAT actor.." or something like that...*laughs* Oh well, to each his own I say, I still think the soundtrack is awesome nonetheless. By the WAY...they even have a SMILEY called "The Rock"...absurd, I'd say...:therock:
