1. I am so excited for the next episode, especially since this last one made me sort of angry. I did like how Seth stood up to Summer, though. It was really funny when all those guys were like, "You're dating this Emo kid?" and she's like "Yeah..." Too fun. I thought it was SO disgusting when Luke and Julie made the "booty call." I just KNEW Marissa would see them, but alas, it was just a close call. But of course you know that someone is going to find out eventually and it's going to be funny when they do. I really do not like Teresa. -_- I wanted Ryan and Marissa to get back together and I thought for a minute there that they would. Stupid Teresa and her lip-locking madness...
 2. I LIVE IN GEORGIA AND WE HAVE SNOW!!!!!!! I'm in Athens and when I woke up this morning, everything was WHITE. It was so exciting, especially when they announced that school was going to be closed. I have never been so happy in my life (well, maybe I have, but how often do you get snow in Georgia?) So for all of you people that think that it doesn't get cold in Georgia, TAKE THAT! WHOO!!!!!!!!!
 3. DDR is the absolute most fun game in the world. At least, in my opinion it is. I used to play it in the arcades all the time, but then some friends of the family got it for Christmas and brought it over. Nothing is more exhilarating then completing "End of Century" on Standard Mode for the first time and actually passing. Or how about passing it and making an A. Yeah, I couldn't walk for a few days afterwards, but it was worth it. I have permanently damaged the side of my foot because of that game. And alas, my parents have promised to purchase the game for me and my sisters. So yes, I have something exciting to look forward to this weekend, as they just got their tax refund. ^_^ I've just gotten to the point where I can do most every song on Standard. I haven't even really attempted Hard Mode. I'm sort of frightened. And I love DDR Max 2 because one of the female characters looks just like me and she dances in the same style that I do. It's mucho fun. ^_^
 4.
woah! I don't have that many! 0_o;; my cards kind of suck, too. :P
I'm sorry, but posts like this are considered spam, especially in this thread. If you aren't rating a deck or posting a deck to be rated, please do not post in this thread at all. Thank you and happy posting! *QA*
 5.
Well hello again everyone. Do any of you remember me ? Good. I am looking for some of the members around here that could talk witch hunter robin with me. Now, I have an idea of how the people here operate and often times we (the members) don't know of an anime until it is brought to the mass american market. (sorry but this otaku's been out of the game for quite a while. ) :smirk: Anyway, I would like to know about a couple of charactors... either in a pm or in a spoiler tagged post. The veteran hunter (amon ?) and the rookie. (youngster fella) What are their powers, etc. ? Thanks.
Actually, I'm pretty sure there is a Witch Hunter Robin thread if you feel like browsing the forum. Just thought I'd be helpful.
 6.
Actually there is a live-action version of this. Here a review of it: http://www.midnighteye.com/reviews/perfbyns.shtml
Hi Justin Carr! I just wanted to let you know that next time you make a post, you can put something about the review instead of just posting the link, which is against the rules. Hope this helps. As for Perfect Blue, I didn't like it, but it wasn't because I thought it sucked. I didn't like it because it freaked me out. I thought it was very well done. I love psychological shows/movies, especially like Evangelion, and this one fits right up there. Alot of people consider it one of those must-sees of every anime fan. I haven't watched in about four years, but I remember that I liked the animation alot. It was gorgeous. I loved the twisted storyline and how it messed with your mind. I suggest that you watch it again.
 7. Alright, first of all, your post quality is pretty good, but threads like this really aren't going to go anywhere. There is already an Anime Wishlist thread where you discuss what anime series/movies you'd like to see. Also, if you want to discuss any of the movies you've listed, I'm pretty sure there's already a thread for each of them where you can participate there. Please consider these things before starting another thread. Thread Closed.
 8.
Yea, this isn't all that bad. There's the animation style from Escaflowne that really rules.
Hi, duelist 22. While your grammar and punctuation skills are VERY nice, it wouldn't hurt you to make your posts just a bit longer. Thanks! *QA*
 9.
It really just depends on the characters to decide what I like.
'Ello and welcome to the OtakuBoards! I see that you know your grammar and punctuation, but here we ask that you put a little more into your posts and make it at least longer than one sentence. Thank you! *QA*
 10.
hair:black as boy, pink as pig
Ryouga is a black piglet called P-Chan. Just thought I would let you know...
 11. Alright well, I'll give this a go, I'm looking for something different...*sighs* Name: Tess Gender: Female Age: 18 Appearance: Stunningly beautiful and full of grace, Tess has long blonde hair that flows past her waist, perfectly straight. Her eyes are deep violet color and she has pale and delicate skin. She wears a white gown that flows softly behind her and it made of very soft and sheer material. A golden circlet with a green jewel falls across her forehead. Weapon: She only carries her wooden staff, carved intricately with a large green gemstone at the top of it that glows softly. Element: Earth Bio: Tess is the daughter of a nobleman who was very handsome and very wealthy. Tess never knew her mother, as the union between her father and her mother was forbidden. Her mother, a poor girl who served as a maid in her father's household was banished after she had Tess and had been gone ever since. Tess was raised by the young maidens that had grown up with her father who were dear friends to her mother and taught her everything she needed to know. She was told that she looked exactly like her and that she had inherited all of her gentle dispositions. At age 16, Tess's father arranged her marriage to a young nobleman, the son of her father's good friend. He was nice enough, but Tess did not love him and wanted to have nothing to do with the union. Her father was so outraged that he sent her to live with her Aunt, her father's cruel sister, and there she has been residing ever since. Personality: Tess is a very sweet girl with idealistic dreams. She wanted nothing to do with an arranged marriage because she always believed that she could find true love no matter where she was, just like her father and mother. She's passionate about the things that she believes in and will never let anyone put her down.
 12. I know this thread is a million years old, but since the other FY thread was deleted, I thought I'd resurrect it unless everyone was up to starting from scratch. But I really think there's some decent discussion going on here. *QA*
 13. Well, I happen to prefer the good. The villian is always so stereotypical, always wanting world domination or to kill the hero/heroine or something lame of the sort. Of course, you could always say that the hero/heroine is stereotypical, too, but the villian isn't usually caught up in some sort of strange love triangle, which is what usually gets me addicted to a series. And if the villian is, then I will always prefer the protagonists over him/her. I don't know, I guess I'm not really attracted to the "bad boys" unless they are the "good guy." ^_^;
 14. Wow, this is exciting to have a Ranma 1/2 RPG. ^_^ Name: Shampoo. Also known as Sha-Chan. Age: 18 Cursed: Curse of the Drowned Cat. Eyes: Fuschia. Hair: Long and indigo-colored. In the front she has little bells. Weapon: Style: Martial Arts. She is an Amazon Warrior. Techniques: She's pretty handy with her bicycle, blades, and nifty little fans. She can also fight with a staff. Personality: Very aggressive when it comes to Ranma. She is very rude to his other fiances, but caters to Ranma's every wish and desire. She speaks in a very high pitched voice. Appearance: Long indigo hair and big fuschia eyes. She wears traditional Chinese clothing. Her kitten form is violet colored with little bells on her ears, bearing a striking resemblance to Shampoo's human form. Bio: She became engaged to Ranma quite by accident. She challenged him after he had eaten her food, a reward for her victory. Male-type Ranma defeated her and therefore she was to be engaged to him, unless she could one day defeat him. She followed him to Japan, some how getting cursed along the way, and runs a Ramen shop with her grandmother, Cologne, who will do practically anything to get her granddaughter and Ranma together. She also is followed around by Mousse, a boy from her Amazon tribe, who has been in love with her since their childhood. He's never been able to defeat her and therefore he's never been ever to win her over, despite his many challenges to Ranma for her sake. Goal in Life: To obliterate Girl-Type Ranma and be betrothed to Male-Type Ranma.
 15. I think Seth is probably going to end up going back and forth, most likely. What's so funny to me about these shows is that the couple can never really stay together for too long. If that was the case, what would the next episode be about, you know? I'm not against Marissa. I actually take up for her character and I'm hoping that things will work out for her and Ryan. So she wanted to be friendly with Oliver and trust him. She felt she could relate because they were both in therapy and he even attempted suicide. She just was stupid in not realizing how far she was taking it, that's all. Oh well. I think it's pretty funny to watch Kiki and Sandy go at it, especially on this past V-Day episode. They are such the cute married couple. ^_^
 16. Actually, it is released here in America, but you probably wont just find it in your local videostore. The original version is called Urusei Yatsura and the English dubbed version has a different name entirely, Those Obnoxious Aliens. I was interested in the series a while back after I watched the movie "Beautiful Dreamer." I never had a chance to watch any of the rest of the episodes/OVAs or read any of the manga, but I did my research of the series and I really enjoyed all of the characters. If you haven't seen that movie, I highly suggest it. It's pretty strange and it really messes with your mind, but it touches on alot of psychological issues. It is a great romance, as well. I love how Lum is so fond of Ataru, but she's the one girl he doesn't want to give the time of day to. Of course, he really does love her, deep down inside (what Rumiko Takahashi frontman doesn't love his leading lady?), and so it makes it all funny and humorous. I love Lum's Stormtroopers as well. They are quite a cast of characters.
 17.
Like Inu-Yasha and Ranma! But they belong to the same author, so that's all right, yes? I too have seen characters that look alike and don't belong to the same author...[/font']
Okay, I know this thread is closed, but I just HAD to comment on this. Ranma and InuYasha don't look alike. They are drawn by the same person, given, but Ranma has short black hair in a braid and InuYasha had long white hair and dog ears. Big difference in appearance, hon.
 18.
3 AP tests = almost $250; stupid fee waivers that I don't qualify for...
In the state of Georgia, they pay for us to take the AP test. We only have to pay a $6 fee that pays for the administration of it. Lucky Georgia kids. We also have the HOPE scholarship, which pays for tuition and books if you go to college here in Georgia and keep your GPA about a 3.0. Of course, our funds ARE being depleted, but we still have it. ^_^
 19.
Lost Universe: Anime Star Wars in Space, pretty much. With toilets and chickens. I'm not too hot on the storyline, but it stars Kain Blueriver (someone who owns a starship called the Swordbreaker that can blow up planets), Millie something-or-another, an investigator and a girl called Canal who is the embodiment of the ship's computer. Together they run around the universe trying to seek revenge on the man who killed Kain's grandmother. I've only actually seen the trailer and listened to the themes, but it really does intruige me. It's a light-hearted comedy anime set in space with lightsaber esque weapons and space ships. The animation looks pretty decent, but I've no idea if the series as a whole will have as much depth as something like Outlaw Star. I'd be very interested to find out, but it's probably not going to be out in the UK for some time, if at all.
*Shudders violently* Star Wars in space is highly missing the mark. Lost Universe is probably the most lame anime series I've ever seen, even worse than Ultimate Muscle. There is not emotion, the action is completely nonexistant, and the voices are dull. It's one of those anime shows that can easily put you to sleep. What I suggest is that you borrow the first volume from someone before you waste your money. That's why I did. And I couldn't even get through the second episode of three before giving it back.
 20.
What's it about??[/COLOR']
Welcome to the OtakuBoards! First of all, I'd just like to ask that you put a little more thoughts and efforts into your future posts and make sure you read the rules, especially the ones on post quality. Most of the time, posts like this are deleted. Also, the graphic in your signitature is MUCH too large. I think the dimensions for banners are 500x100. Hope this helps! Thank you. *QA*
 21. That sucks amazingly for you. I really do feel bad for you. Houses burning down is something I always had awful nightmares about, especially since I've grown up living in a trailor, which can burn down in ten minutes. In my dreams I would always throw all of my stuff out the window before saving myself. And I would always be so paranoid that my animals would still be in the house (yes, we have alot of pets...) I am sorry that you lost everything, but to be the optimist and to repeat what you've already said, at least you are alive.
 22. Well, what exactly is going on? You may not want to discuss it on here, but you can certainly PM me and maybe we can talk or something. I'm really worried about you...
 23. Yes, Ryan has every right in the world not to want to be with Marissa and I thought it was pretty low of her to assume that the way to get him back was to try and seduce him ("I thought you wanted sex?"). That's like saying that all guys care about is sex, which isn't necessarily true in all cases, and it didn't seem like it was so in Ryan's case. I don't blame him for being pissed at her. And he needed someone to talk to, so I'm glad his friend from home came to visit. But...I still want Ryan and Marissa to get back together. I always love a good LOVE STORY! *Sighs happily* And I though the entire Summer/Seth ordeal was just hilarious. He thought she was all experienced and the reason why the sex sucked was because of him when all actuality, she was a virgin, too. I thought it was very cute. Much more endearing than I had originally imagined. So what do you think will happen with Anna?
Was rttocs banned because he hates the OC? O_o;

 24.
Fear Factor has become incredibly stupid, I think. Nothing they have to do is "scary" anymore. It's all just gross. Half of the things they have to do involve eating something people would never want to eat. They need more originality.
I agree, and that's why I don't watch those shows anymore. At first when they had to eat gross stuff it was like "Ew, wow, I have to see this!" Now it's more like, "Oh, pig guts? *Shrugs and walks off*" Everytime I see an advertisement for that show, they always show what they have to eat. Yeah, it's pretty disgusting, but like you said, they could be a little more original...
 25. I figure that I picked it up somewhere around campus. See, I always have my hands in my mouth (fingernails to chew, cuticles and so forth, heh) and so I must have had to germs on my hands and then done something stupid. It really is gross, but I'm just glad it's over with. As for making up for lost college classes, you have no idea. I am SO behind.
