I'm going to be king of course, I mean do I have any competition in my class? I think not.
Oh, that is so lame. Modesty goes a LONG way, you know. That's why I'm so thankful that my highschool didn't bother will all of the prom king/queen stuff. It's the kind of stupid crap you see in teen movies. My Senior prom was amazing. I went with Ryan, who I had been dating at the time for a little over a year. Our theme was "An Enchanted Evening in Paradise," but I promise you there were no hula skirts here. I had this HUGE gown, light blue, and everyone called me Cinderella. I even had the white gloves. I felt as though I was truly glowing that night. I have a picture, but I don't feel like going around and looking for it. It was a lot of fun and me and Ryan actually danced a bit this year. ^_^ I was telling him the other night that I missed prom, so he said we should go with my sister and one of her friends as their "official" date, but then the two of us could be together. It was a pretty good idea, until I remember my sister was in a Sophomore homeroom. :P

I like to watch the occassional Reality show every now and then, but I don't freak out when I miss anything. I especially like Queer Eye for the Straight Guy. That is a very fun show. I also like to catch Fear Factor every now and then. And I miss that show that used to come on MTV, Fear. That show scared the bejeezus out of me.
Apparently is spreads by contaminated feces of an infected person; ick. So, based on these facts, it?d be best to wash your hand frequently and always before you eat. Remember to use warm, soapy water.
Wow, that is so disgusting. But thankfully I can say that I haven't really been in contact with human feces other than my own. I'm not sure where I got it from since I was one of the first people around here to actually catch the virus. It was so awful, though. Things seem to finally be winding down, which is a good thing. Down here at UGA we're calling it "The Plague." I myself am considered to be a "Pioneer of the Plague" since I was one of the first to catch it.

I must have a bad memory because lately I've been thinking of a lot of things that I've read, and I really can't remember as much about them as I'd like to. I've read most of this series, mostly what was printed in Smile and then a graphic novel or two, and I really enjoyed the series. It was a bit typical when it came to the good girl/bad boy relationship, but there were alot of deeper issues that were involved in the unraveling of the plot. I especially liked it that Kira was an artist. She was an inspiring character. I really hope that someday I'll be able to finish the series. That and Peach Girl.

You still have my phone number and just know that you can always call, like I've said in times past. You have been in my thoughts and it has been wonderful to see your prescense on the boards once again. I really don't know what you're going through, but I hope that things are good. I sent you a Christmas card a few months back, but I have no idea whether or not you recieved it. I have missed you. Please give me a call.

Well, I always think it's funny when I hear about kids whose parents hate the entire concept of anime and don't want it in their household. My mom used to help me buy all of the Fushigi Yugi movies (she paid for most of them) and then sit down and watch them with all of us. She knew the entire plot, all of the characters names, etc. She also recorded Pokemon for us every morning while we were at school, so she always ended up watching that, too. My mom's the greatest. I miss those times...^_^;

I think you are taking it a little too far. I think anime is just a glorified term for cartoons. Anime just happens to be imported from Japan. A cartoon is something that is animated, and guess what, anime is animed. I think you've lost your marbles to get so angry. To claim that not all anime is for kids is a pretty weak arguement. Not all cartoons are for kids, either. Take Stripperella or even the Simpsons. How about King of the Hill? Beavis and Butthole? All of those are cartoons that are aimed at an older and more mature audience. Next time I think you should think things through before getting yourself grounded.

Has anyone ever heard of it? It's the virus that infected cruise ships not long ago and was all over the news. Now it's all over the news again: this time it's striking at major Universities and is spreading like wildfire. The symptoms are nausea, vomiting, and diarrhea. I had gotten sick last week and went to the Health Center to be treated, but as of Friday, hundreds more students were infected. Two of my three roommates caught it, as did Ryan, and now his little brother has it. Has anyone else been lucky enough to catch what us UGA students are calling "The plague?" It's easily spread in universities because of everyone living in close proximities in the dorms. At first they thought it was food poisoning, but after seeing how contagious it was, they soon ruled that option out. I have no idea where I got it from because I hadn't been in contact with anyone who had already been sick. I was actually one of the first to catch the virus. Thoughts, opinions?

Wow, after reading my last post, I'd say my speculations were pretty much right on. The last episode was SO good and I was so excited to see that Marissa finally found out for herself that Oliver was lying to her and that Natalie wasn't a real person. I guess that's what she gets for not believing in Ryan or Luke. AND OH MY GOSH! Speaking of Luke, can you believe that he pulled the moves on Julie Cooper? In the previews for the next episode it looks like it might go farther than it did this week. *Shudders* She's old enough to be his mother! Yuck! *Gags* Do you think Ryan and Marissa will get back together? I find it quite humorous that he was the person she called when she found out about Natalie. And I KNEW that Seth and Anna would break up. It really sucks that it had to happen that way, though.

I will hopefully be spending the day doing some sort of homework, spending time with my family, and going to see my cousin's baby, Kristalyn. Ryan will be working for the entire day, so I will be seeing him tonight. Oh well...we'll see how it goes.

I read the manga about a year ago and I really didn't enjoy it all that much. It seemed like it was more into fan service than actually developing a storyline that could be followed. It was inconsistant and jumped around constantly. I didn't understand it very much and therefore I didn't really get into it or like it.

I've never had a chance to watch the British version, but I'm quite fond of the American version. I used to watch it every week when it came on Fox, and now I watch all the reruns on the Fox Family channel. I like the episode where they each were assigned a character from Star Wars and each designated person was only allowed to say a certain number of words each time they spoke. That episode always make me cry from laughing. I wish they would make some new ones, with some more nifty comedians guest-starring. I saw some newer episodes (I think) where Drew Carey wasn't the host and it just wasn't the same. It was actually really lame.
Originally posted by maladjusted The singer I really hated was that platinum-blonde-haired-girl who always said that she was the best singer and then she got cut and she started crying and insulting the other singers. I hope she never gets a record deal in her life.
OH MY GOSH! That girl made me yell and scream she pissed me off so bad. I can't believe she had to audacity to call everyone else there "trailor trash." I have lived in a trailor my ENTIRE LIFE! Does that make me trash? She just seemed like she was a spoiled rotten ***** in my opinion, one of those who never knows what it's like to have to work for something. I'm glad she got told off; she sucked anyway.

What's your opinion on Valentine's day?
Queen Asuka replied to ChibiHorsewoman's topic in General Discussion
Wrist cutter, you are the coolest guy in existance. Period. As for Valentine's Day, there is this nice little term that us Mormons like to use in reference to the holiday: S.A.D: Singles Awareness Day. Every year they have nice and fun activities for everyone whether they are single or not. This year we are having a "Sweet Meet" on Thursday and it sounds like it should be fun. ^_^ As for my opinion of the holiday, I used to hate it. My younger sister would always get a ton of gifts, but I never got anything. It's still that way, lol, but this year I actually have a boyfriend. And last year I had a boyfriend, too (the same one) and so that's always something to look forward to. I've put a lot of thought and effort into his gift (part of it is homemade), even though I don't think that he's even thought of getting me anything. But at least I'll have a chance to give him some nifty things. *Sighs* Okay, I'm getting depressed thinking about it...I need to be quiet. As for the nifty little Valentine's cards, I don't think a year has passed that I haven't given them out. I give them to all my friends and teachers and it's a ton of fun. Last year I had Lord of the Rings, year before Crocodile Hunter, years before that I had Star Wars, and this year I have Disney Princess cards. Fun times. -
My cat Lucky got sick and died a few years ago. She was my baby and I had to watch her lose all her hair and then throw up everyday until blood starting coming up. She died while I was at school in the sixth grade. Back in January I had to watch my old Bulldog, Bridget, pass away. She was REALLY old (we've had her since 1994-1995ish) and she was fat and happy. We knew that she wasn't going to be much longer and when she quit eating ,we knew that her death was approaching. She wouldn't even eat the bowl of chicken and dumplings we gave her. She would just find a spot in the yard to lay down in and wouldn't move all day. I got to talk to her and tell her that I loved her because she was my big baby and she used to always sleep with me. She died the day I had my accident. I miss her a lot. It doesn't even feel like she's gone really... I'd say the best thing is to put your cat down. It's never the decision that you want to make, but that way you know that the animal is not suffering. You can always get a new pet and even though it wont be the same animal, a new baby animal can always brighten your mood. Trust me. With Lacy there was Bridget. With Hercules, PeeWee, and LiLi, there was Chester. With Bridget there was Squirt. New pets are fun. ^_^

Thanks for the comments, guys. I really like the Aerith drawing a lot myself. I sketched it in my first day of Philosophy, the most boring class in existance. I colored some of it with my pink highlighter and some with a pink pen, but the pen didn't show up. I really wish that it wasn't on notebook paper, but I am happy with it. About the third one, her face may look "smaller" because I meant for it to be that way. She's supposed to be sort of exotic and naughty, like a lot of people have said.

I am thinking that Seth slept with Summer, too. It seems as though she's gotten to the point where she's willing to go to the extreme to be the one to end up with Seth. And I really don't think Seth would mind. After all, in the last episode, I saw some loving eyes type things going on when they were talking at the locker. So I definiately think it was Summer. I just don't think Anna would be the one to pull that move just yet. And if it is Summer, then I'm sure that Seth and Anna will break up, as they portrayed their relationship to be falling apart anyway. And about Oliver and Marissa, I think that Oliver probably shot himself, not Marissa. I just don't think he would do that (of course, what do I know, he's a psycho!). He just seems so desperate...It'll probably be one of those situations where the gun goes off but no one ends up getting hurt. I don't know, I'm trying not to speculate too much, I'm just looking forward to watching the episode.

I seriously don't think there is anyone above the age 25 here at the OtakuBoards, and if there is, they are most definitely under 30. I would be afraid of an older person, really. It seems as though the OB is aimed towards a younger generation and an older person would just come across to me as stalkerish. But I'm eighteen, so yeah.

I don't understand how the third chic is disproportionate. Can someone tell me exactly what it is?

I'd have to say "Wish You Were Here" is my favorite song as well. When I listen to it, I feel like I'm going to cry. I'm a big wimp like that. I grew up listening to Pink Floyd, and I'll always remember one night at dinner we were listening to our stereo and my dad was so wasted and he was singing "Money" at the top of his lungs and me and my sisters were just kind of sitting there staring. It was great. I'd have to say Dark Side of the Moon is the absolute best album, though.

I appreciate it greatly, Adam. Thanks for implementing the feature. Now all these people who give me crappy votes might be willing to tell me why exactly my artwork sucks.
