Speaking of caffeine-induced memories, when my sisters and I were much younger, we used to think we were "high" from drinking alot of Pepsi and eating BlowPops. Man, those were the good ol' days. ^_^

When do you think is the right time for sex?
Queen Asuka replied to Epitome's topic in General Discussion
Originally posted by Sephiroth Well whatever happens, remember one very important thing.... Always wear a condom! Otherwise you will end up with a kid like I did :wigout:
So does that mean you didn't intend to get your wife pregnant and you got married only AFTER you found out the news? Or what? Just curious. It happens a lot in my family. It's really weird that I stumble upon this thread because it was actually something that I was pondering today. I recall that my first sexual experience was when I was 14. I didn't have sex, but it seems as though my boyfriend at the time was pushing me to that level. The relationship only lasted for about eight months, but I'm glad I got out of it when I did. It wasn't pleasant and it seriously didn't give me pleasure. The next guy I dated after that was the same way and it was horrible. For me personally, I'd say wait until you are at least 17. That number seems to click rather well for me. 14 is just so young... -
Originally posted by Heaven's Cloud Anyway, the most caffinated soda had to be Jolt...you could fuel a rocket with Jolt Cola
I have always wondered whether or not that stuff tasted very good. I think some people just drank it BECAUSE of the caffeine. I mean, did it taste sugary? I'm just so darn curious! As for Surge, I used to drink it alot when it first came out, and I believe that was way back when I was in middle school. I quit drinking it after a while because the "newness" of it wore off and I went back to Mountain Dew. Which is, by the way, the best soft drink in existance. I can't say that I have any especially fond memories of Surge, just that it came out when I was an idiot in middle school. Eh, good times. ^_^

I only see my boyfriend one day a week if I'm lucky, but that doesn't mean that my mouth has to be on him constantly when we are in one another's presence. That is a lame argument.
Originally posted by Hells Fire I rent out the janitors closet for a fee of $5.00 for 10 minuets. My P.D.A has gone pretty far but then I remember why I come to school and that I could just save it until home, but the fear of getting caught is such a turn on and sometime you just have to play your chances.
If this is true, OH MY GOD. Whatever you are doing that you need the privacy of a janitor's closet to do it in for ten minutes, then you obviously don't need to be doing it in school! In my high school, PDA was against the rules (Mrs. V would chase you down just for being close, lol), but some people could get away with it. I personally don't like PDA. I don't do it myself because I think it's rude to do that in front of other people. And by this I mean making out. It's one thing to hold hands or to hug someone. A light peck on the cheek or the lips doesn't seem to bad either. But when your tongue is penetrating the lips of another person, then you've gone too far on school grounds. The last thing I want to see is some nasty couple slobbering all over each other in public. It's absolutely disgusting. So next time you want to make out, don't do it around me. And I am guessing that this is only a problem in high school. Here at college people are more mature than to make out in front of others.

Saraness, I really like the name Morgaine. I wouldn't pronounce it "Morgan" either. I'm so silly. *Writes it down under "fourth daughter." I forgot all about Miss Alissa Dawn. But Ryan said he doesn't like Alissa...Morgaine Dawn? Or Dawn Morgaine...Oooo...*brainstorms* Speaking of the names Bob, Tom, and Harry, I heard on the radio one morning (the morning of my wreck actually O_o...) a show and they were talking about how no one names their kids "good" names anymore. I think it's pretty funny. You hear some names sometimes and you're like "I would never name my kid that. That is SO grandma!" Names like Helen, Elzira, Pam, etc etc. See what I mean? No offense if that's your name. ^_^

The green one on the left IS cute, but I say that the pale yellow one on the very top is my absolute favorite. ^_^

If you guys had so many problems with Steven, why didn't you just let Mr. Lundin know? I'm pretty sure that Mr. Johnson was aware of the whole situation and was probably sympathetic. To hear that Steven never played during the show really irritates me. I feel that there were probably a lot of sorry members in the band like that. The fact that Josh was gone and he actually loved it with ALL HIS HEART and was REALLY GOOD AT IT made me so sad. And it makes me so sad to think about it now...:( Hopefully you wont have to suffer so much next year. ^_^

I'm with you, Tony. I think it's hilarious when people talk about naming their kids after their favorite anime characters. I used to always say Kasumi and Sakura. *Smiles softly* Eh well, since I've grown out of that, I really HAVE picked out a bunch of names for my children. I already know that my first two daughters will be Arianna Rose and Chloe Brianna. And as for sons, Corbin James, Gavin Floyd, and Trent something-or-another. Yes, I am only 18, but it's nice to have these things picked out just in case, right? Who am I kidding? There is no just in case. I'm just a big loser. ^_^

Absolutely beautiful. The fact that you have such a nifty background without your colors blending shows that you know what you're doing with watercolors. It takes a lot of practice to know exactly how much water to use to make certain colors, etc. Some of the fish are shaped rather oddly, but I like that. It's the oddities that make it so cute. Yes, this is very "Saraesqe" indeed. ^_^

Oh my gosh. The fact that someone believed that rumor has made my day much better. That is so FUNNY! I guess that's what happens when you limit your anime-watching to what's aired on Cartoon Network. *Skips off happily* By the way, Thread Closed.

Art Astrological Interpretations in WaterColor
Queen Asuka replied to Queen Asuka's topic in Creative Works
Ah, thank you. I like getting compliments on my style. I feel it's very unique. ^_^ I actually did these sometime last year...way before leaving to go to college...probably late 2002 early 2003. I wish that I had dated them...Oh well. It was after I got the nifty watercolors and was bored out of my mind. I could have been sometime during last summer, actually. I really am not sure. O_o -

I'm sure you could find what you're looking for on some random site at www.anipike.com. Threads like this aren't really allowed, as it wouldn't really generate much discussion. Besides, there is already a Tenchi thread, and perhaps someone will answer your questions there. I thought all the seasons ended pretty much the same, but you find out for yourself. Thread Closed.

I haven't ever watched the anime, but I read a lot of the manga a while ago and I ADORED the series. I thought it was so cute and attractive, but the anime seemed completely different. My favorite character was Tira. She wasn't all putting herself out for Carrot like Chocolat was. She also had pink hair, which is a big plus for me. I don't know if it's so in both the anime and manga, but in the manga, Tira comes off as really respectable. She walks around in a brown cape like thing that covers her entire body. She only shows herself off when she fights. And she uses a whip. VERY nice. ^_~

Art Astrological Interpretations in WaterColor

Wow, thanks for taking the time to remark on all of the pictures. I'm actually coming up with an idea for redoing Leo. Her hair is off and should be golden, not black, so we'll see. I guess I was having a brain lapse that day. ^_^; -

I am actually considering redoing Leo. For one thing, I think she should have golden hair, and not black. I like the red dress and all, but the hair is what disappoints me. And I like my style. It is pretty unique to me and all of my work comes off in that same type of scheme. I wish I could vary just a bit, but it's all I know how to do. Oh well...at least my work is recognizable... -
Originally posted by Semjaza Azazel I was always more partial to Ayeka. Yes, she was kind of annoying and overly jealous... but when Ryoko wasn't around, she was hardly a problem. I used to be pretty into this show. I actually own the entire subtitled set of Tenchi Universe tapes. I've been trying to get rid of them for awhile, but no one ever wants them heh.
Wow, I'm glad to see another person who likes Ayeka. I really hated Ryoko. She was so sluttish to me and it was too pushy and brute. I really hate girls like that in real life, so I couldn't possibly like an anime girl with the same attributes. Tony, I wouldn't mind taking those off your hands, lol, but you know me, I'm broke. ^_^ Maybe one day I'll just steal them from you.

Anime Do you use anime/manga for school projects or assignments?
Queen Asuka replied to Marron347's topic in Otaku Central
Well, I personally don't see how having access to anime and manga websites at school is really going to help further your education. If you were doing research on something of the sort, I would think that it could be something that could be done at home or at a public library. Like mal said, hentai is a big problem and I'm sure that alot of people have accidently had some problem with it. At the high school I went to, they had this system that automatically blocked websites that had bad things in them, and even a few that didn't. It was a good system overall, even if we couldn't get to some of the websites on Canterbury Tales, and I could always access the OtakuBoards. So that was fun. ^_^ As for doing anime related projects, I've done quite a few because my teachers actually encouraged it. Art is a class I haven't had since middle school, but all of my drawings were in anime style and my teacher loved it. That was back in the day before anime was mainstream. I miss those days... My favorite project I ever did that had to do with anime was over the novel The Poisonwood Bible. It was about this group of sisters who had to leave America and move to the Congo where their father, a crazy Reverend, tried to convert the natives. I did a report where I compared each character to their anime counterpart, and I even got videoclips of each one. For the youngest sister, Ruth May, I compared her to Yuiren from Fushigi Yugi and how they bothed experienced a tragic death.
I got the videoclip of where Yurien dies in Tamahome's arms.
My teacher almost cried, lol. It was great. She loved the project so much that I made a perfect grade. There are many other instances and papers, but that one was my favorite. ^_^ -
Well, I for one really enjoyed the Zelda comics and the tv show that used to come on. I thought Zelda was a righteous ruler and Link's personality was nifty. He was a flirt, but he was clumsy, too. He wasn't full of himself, which was nice. He actually had a personality, something the games tend to leave out. At least, the games I've played, anyway. As for the comics, I had a few, and I thoroughly enjoyed them. Gannon was a character, too, and he was just as revolting as he should have been. Good times. I really miss that stuff. ^_^

Art Syk3's Ultimate Banner Thread O.o (image heavy)
Queen Asuka replied to Syk3's topic in Creative Works
I like them all. I remember alot of those, too, even though it's been a while since you've used them. You definiately have talent. ^_^ -
I live in the US, in Georgia. More specifically, Athens, GA. I attend college here at UGA. It's beautiful here and downtown is pretty nifty, but there are a TON of bars. And well, I'm 2 hours from home and 3 hours from Ryan. But I do like living here on my own. The whole college town atmosphere is really nice. ^^

Art Astrological Interpretations in WaterColor
Queen Asuka replied to Queen Asuka's topic in Creative Works
Thanks for the comments, everyone. I wish I had scanned the drawings of the others, with Taurus, of course, being my absolute favorite. I wanted to do her in a pink theme (surprise, surprise), despite the fact that she is an earth sign. I tried to make them all look a bit different. ^_^ The reason I didn't like Leo was because of her hair. It didn't shape the way I wanted it to. And Baron, Aquarius IS wearing boots. Silly. ^_^
