Elda smiled up at Ensis, his words so comforting. She felt another tear fall down her face and quickly wiped it away. "I just know that I can't stay here. There's nothing here for me. My father wants me to settle down and get married, but he only wants me to do that so he can trap me...he knows I'm too much of a free spirit..." Elda sighed a bit, letting her eyes fall to the ground. She ran a finger through her hair nervously, catching a strand and twisting it. She finally looked back up at him. "You need to rest, Elda...perhaps I can offer you a bed here?" he motioned towards his home, where the door was standing wide open. "Please?" she said, "It's been a long day. It feels like eternity when I've only been awake a few short hours..." Elda sighed deeply, and Ensis placed a hand on her shoulder, gently guiding her towards the door. "I'll let you sleep and I'll cook something to eat. I think we'll be leaving soon..." Elda didn't say anything and just let herself be led into the house. She soon found herself in a soft bed, her mind quickly drifting into a much needed sleep. Not long aftewards, Beau made his way to the door of Ensis's home. He banged hard, waking Elda from her sleep. She sat up gently and saw Ensis go and answer the door. She heard Beau's angry voice and Ensis's calm voice. She tried to listen in on their conversation from where she was at. "Ensis, let me in now. I have come to get Elda," Beau said, furious. "She's staying with me. Just leave her alone and let her rest," Ensis said quietly. "I am NOT leaving her here with you! You're only going to hurt her, Ensis! Let her stay here where she will be safe! She's all her father has left!" Beau said, much louder than his previous statement. Elda gasped softly, realization hitting her. But she knew that she couldn't stay. "Look Beau, she made her decision and you can't change her mind. Let her be, please," Ensis said, still quietly. "LET ME IN!" said Beau, trying to get past Ensis, to no avail. "Beau, stop it," Elda said quietly, making her way to where the two men where, standing beside Ensis silently. "I'm going with Ensis. Something tells me I shouldn't stay here...I don't want to settle down...I am going to live my life..." "Elda, you're a woman! You should care more about your place!" Elda just looked at him angrily. "Beau, I don't CARE about my place. And neither did my mother..." "Yeah, and look at where it got your mother! DEAD! She's dead now, Elda!" Beau screamed at her. Elda stepped forward and slapped him hard across the face. Tears were streaming from her eyes once again and she sighed deeply. "Beau, I never want to hear you speak of my mother like that ever again. I never even want to SPEAK to you again...leave me alone!" she said, clutching Ensis by the arm. Ensis just nodded calmly, and shut the door. Beau just stood there, awestruck by what just happened. As the door closed, he yelled at them. "Elda, I only wanted you for mine!" Elda began to sob once again as Beau walked away.

Elda stared silently as Kaze ran away from her. She had no clue what he was talking about, what it meant, and why he was going, but a silent tear trickled down her face. She grabbed a small strand of her blonde hair in hand, twisting it hard. The people were still in a panic around her, but it was more quiet and subdued. Ensis had began to offer comfort to them, and most had began to make their way around town to visit family and friends, as if they were going to die any minute now. But not Elda. She knew that she was far from death, and that her life was about to change. She knew that Ensis was leaving and that he had asked that anyone who wanted to accompany him to let him know. She knew that her father would never let her go, but she knew that her father could never keep her from going. At that moment, she was grabbed from behind, turned quickly, and pressed hard against someone's body in a tight embrace. She didn't look up to see who it was, but knew immediately at the sound of his voice. "Oh, Elda, your father has been looking for you. We were so worried..." Beau said, the panic in his voice very evident. "Beau, let me go, I'm fine..." Beau slowly let her go, looking into her soggy eyes. He actually looked sincere. She felt her heart jerk and began to cry once again. He quickly took her in his arms. "Elda, what's wrong? It's going to be okay..." Beau said, gently stroking her hair. She continued to sob, finding it hard to breathe. She finally broke away from him, strands of her golden hair plastered to her face. "I'm going with Ensis to find out what happened..." she said firmly. Beau just looked at her. "Elda, you're just panicing because of what happened, we all are. Don't talk crazy..." he said, making his way towards her again. "No!" she said, slapping his hand away. "I am NOT talking crazy. I'm going with Ensis to find out what happened. My mother was from that city...and after she died, father promised me he'd take me there some day..." she got quietly immediately, feeling another warm tear run down her cheek. "Your father wouldn't let you go," Beau said, still trying to get close to her. "My father can't stop me..." she said, still backing away. She began walking back towards Ensis's home, hoping that perhaps he would be there once again. "Elda, NO!" said Beau, running towards her. She ignored him as he came up beside her. "Elda, I beg you, please don't do it. Just go home and get some rest. I just know you'll feel better if you do." Elda continued to ignore him, seeing Ensis up ahead of her. "Just leave me alone, Beau. I've already made my decision..."

Tori woke up with the sun shining through the windows above her. It was only about 7 Pacific time, but it was well into the morning Eastern time. John was sleeping happily beside her, barely any blankets covering up. She sat up, looking at her own side of the bed and saw that she had the majority of them. That was one thing bad about sleeping with her...she was quite the blanket hog. She slipped off the side of the bed gracefully, arching her back and stretching, letting out a slight yawn and a loud squeak. John stirred and she turned and looked at him as he pulled the blankets over his face, mumbling something about the sunshine being too bright. She smiled slightly, making her way to the bathroom and brushing her teeth. She quietly slipped back into the bedroom when she was done, stepping into her bedroom shoes by the bed. John was still sleeping, or so she supposed, so she decided to go and make breakfast on her own. Popping a Pop-Tart in the toaster wasn't too difficult, was it? She skipped happily down the stairs, beaming as though she was made of sunshine herself. She met up with a tired looking James in the foyer. "Good morning, James!" she said, latching onto him in a hug. "Er, hey Tori," he said, smiling and yawning. "Where are you heading this early?" "Well, I was going to see about making breakfast..." About that time, the doorbang rang. James and Tori both turned to it, the latter still attached to the former. Neither of them made their way towards the door, and Ellie came walking in, quickly opening the door. A policeman stood there. James and Tori stared blankly and he and Ellie exchanged a few words and he made his way into the sitting room where D'Ann and Jenna were. Tori and James slowly followed Ellie, who had followed the policemen. Tori listened intently, sitting beside Jenna, who had finally sat up. She looked groggy, and Tori idly played with Jenna's hair. D'Ann calmly explained what she thought might have had happened, and the officer left the room to take a look around the house. Tori frowned at Jenna. "It scares me that this happened to you, Jenna..." she said, her voice shaking. "Ah, come on Tori, don't get upset. I'm sure it's not that big of a deal," James said. "So everyone else is asleep and doesn't know what has happened yet?" Ellie asked. "Apparently that's the case. I found Jenna on the floor in the foyer," said D'Ann. The group sat there silently. The police officer came back after a little while, telling them that he didn't find any evidence. "We've got you in our files now," he said, "but we'll be back later on today to question the other people in the house who are still sleeping." The officer himself looked a bit bewildered at the large house they lived in, giving the sitting room and quick look before making his way out the door once again. Ellie followed him, locking the door back and coming back into the sitting room. "Anyone up for Pop-Tarts and hot chocolate?" Tori asked. "I'm sure it will do something to lighten the mood a bit. I've got plenty for all of us."

*Do you think that things are labeled 'vices' because society shapes them to be 'wrong', or are they born vices out of human nature? That's a pretty tough question. I think they are labeled vices through evolution. Things that are accepted now could have been the most horrible thing in the world way back when. People were more conservative, and my theory is that they were closer to their religious roots. And then, through time, they lost sight of religion and sort of branched out on their own. People became selfish, moreso than ever before. *Do you have any personal vices, or any that you believe are destructive to yourself or others? Of course I have my own personal vices. I am very impatient, I always want my way, I tend to be a bit self-centered, I have a tendancy to sacrifice my happiness for others, I procrastinate HEAVILY, I waste all of my time that I could be doing good things by browsing the internet, I tend to be quite sassy with my parents, etc. Wow, that's a good bit. But I'm sure if I pointed out my good personality traits, they would far out number the bad. *What certain vices do you find to be the most destructive in today's society? Is that vice considered 'morally wrong'? Are there any vices that you believe to be fairly harmless? The ones that I find the most destructive are probably pride and greed. People don't ever want to admit that they are wrong and they never want to be second-best. They want to be the top of the world and will do anything to be there. They neglect those around them in the race to become "Number One." As for greed, they will do anything to have everything and they do not give enough of themselves to others. Simple as that.

Let's talk about ....., baby... (Mature Themes)
Queen Asuka replied to Artemis's topic in General Discussion
Well, some of you close to me know where I'm coming from, for the most part, so I guess I'll put in my two cents finally. To me, marriage is VERY sacred. It's an everlasting bond, if sealed properly, and you're not going to be with that person until death does you part. It's for time and all eternity. When I get married, it's going to be forever, so I want it to be with the right person. As for premarital sex, I know that it's wrong. But I know that people in very close relationships will find themselves in a situation where something of the sort will come up. How they handle that situation is up to them. I don't condone premarital sex. I know that sounds hypocritical... I also think it's wrong if you're under 18. If you're living on your own, taking care of yourself (pretty much), then you're probably more responsible and mature. I hate hearing about middle school kids who get pregnant at the age of 12 or 13 and have children. That is SAD. Because of that, their own childhood is taken away from them. -
WELL, I'm from Georgia. Macon, Georgia to be precise. I pretty much have lived there all of my life (except for a year or two in Milledgeville or Gray). I love Macon. It's the center of Georgia. ^_^ Now I live in the infamous Athens, Georgia, home of the University of Georgia! It's pretty much a college town, but hey, I don't party. ^_^ Just a bunch of drunks who smash my pumpkins...>.

I always hated the Beatles, but then I realized it was because I never listened to them! We finally studied them in my Rock Music class and now I have become a fan. I appreciate their music and I even got myself a copy of Sgt. Pepper's because I LOVE IT! *Runs away happily*
Originally posted by BabyGirl Hahaha, Tori, that "good job" written on the bottom left of your beautiful drawing, is that the same guy who wrote "can I look like her" on the sketch page you sent me? That just cracks me up, hee ^____^
Actually, a girl wrote that. *Laughs* But yes, it's the same person. I think my sketch of Arianna looks kind of funny, but hey, it was just for fun and for the RPG. Josh actually took a picture of himself. *Grins*

Ah, this thread again. I'm glad the Lover's Lane thread finally died, then. I guess my favorite couple as of now is Hideki/Chi of Chobits. It's so sweet and innocent and I love how their love for one another evolves throughout the series. The ending was magnificent and it taught a great moral lesson.

I saw Angel Sanctuary and I enjoyed every minute of it. The storyline was fantastic and it was sort of sad that they didn't continue it on into more episodes. After that, I tried downloading and reading some of the manga, and that was interesting. I'm just happy to know that sometime soon it will be released from TokyoPop, I believe.

Heh, thanks Kittylynn. I'm glad that someone enjoys my artwork. I like drawing people, so maybe a picture of you is in store? ^_^

Thanks everyone. I know you can tell it's my style...it's just the way that I draw and they way that I like for things to turn out. Everyone has their own particular style, and that's what makes things unique. That's also why I tend to dislike artwork that is just regurgitated pieces, like copying fanart exactly and then claiming it as your own. *Sighs* But whatever. I wanted to color it, but I didn't want to ruin it.

I thought I would update this thread and grace it with some of my very own school sketches. So tell me what you think about this one. I drew it in *gasp* INK! Well, I haven't gotten any pictures scanned in a while, so I thought I would show you guys the picture that I did on Sunday night. Now I know that some of you hate my style and like to nitpick, but PLEASE don't be negative. Just tell me what you think, is all. ^_^ Thank you! The people in Fenwyr were wild with panic. They were running through the streets, calling out to one another, all looking as though they were utterly pierced to the heart with fear. Elda stood paralyzed in Ensis's doorway, looking around frantically for any sign of Kaze in the moving crowd. Her eyes widened as she saw people crying, falling to the ground. Kaze was no where in sight. Her heart was pounding, although she didn't know why. She had never seen the quiet town of Fenwry in such a panic. What was going on? At that moment, Ensis tapped her on the shoulder from behind. She screamed loudly, turning quickly. Ensis himself jumped, looking at her. "What are you doing here?" he asked. "Well, I actually came here to, um..." she stopped, getting slightly embarrassed, her cheeks beginning to flush. "I just wanted to thank you for seeing me home last night..." She sat there, not looking at him for a moment. Finally, she gazed up into his eyes. He was looking down at her, but his eyes were not looking at her at all. He was somewhere else all together. She put her arms on his shoulders. "Ensis! Tell me what is going on! Why is all of Fenwyr in such a panic? Tell me!" She shook his shoulders slightly, tears coming to her eyes although she didn't know why. She then heard her father's voice. "Elda? Elda, where are you!?" Elda looked out into the crowd and saw her father looking around for her. He stumbled over people who had fallen to the ground, and he himself looked to be in a panic. Elda looked up at Ensis, fear in her eyes. "Tell me what is going on, Ensis!" she said. He just smiled at her sadly, shaking his head and not saying a word. At that, she grabbed his face in her hands and pulled him down and kissed him hard. "Now...tell me what's going on..." she said.

OCC: I love it when Jenna takes the initiative. ^_~ --------------- After having a blast at the pool, Tori and John made their way into the kitchen for dinner. They cooked up some microwave dinners because of convenience and to save time, and ate them silently. The sun was setting out the huge kitchen window. Tori yawned and looked at her watch. It was still set in Eastern time. "Geez...if it's 11 pm in Georgia, then that means it's 8 pm here. I am so tired...I don't know if I'll ever get used to the time changes..." She layed her head down on the table sleepily. John gently patted her on the head, softly stroking her hair. "Well, let's get you up to bed then," he said, helping her stand up and taking her hand, the two of them making their way to the bedroom. As they got there, Tori immediately crashed on the huge canopy bed, still in her damp bathing suit. "Tori...you'll get the blankets damp, and then you will not want to sleep there..." John said, sitting beside her on the bed. His clothes had long since dried since he didn't even get into the pool. "Bah, you're right..." she said, slowly sliding off the side of the bed, somehow landing on her feet. She quickly made her way to the closet and changed into some silky PJs. They were pink, of course, and had little white hearts all over them. She dragged herself across the floor and plopped back down in the bed, immediately grabbing and hugging her stuffed Georgia Bulldog. She smiled sleepily up at John, who smiled back down at her. He got up himself, changed into some cotton pants that Tori made him wear to bed, and then sat back down beside her. Her eyes were closed and she was already breathing at a soft, sleeping pace. He leaned over and kissed her forehead, pulling the blankets up over her. "You were worn out, weren't you?" he said, looking at the clock and seeing that it was only about 8:30. He smiled again, getting under the blankets himself and turning out the lamp before trying to attempt to go to sleep. John was not the type to go to sleep early. He lay there in the bed, staring up at the canopy for a while. The room was dark, and little daisy-shaped shadows fell across his bed. The moonlight was bright coming in from the windows above, and he looked over at Tori who was sleeping happily, still clutching her bulldog. He looked at the clock. It had only been about 3 hours, 11:30 pm. He sighed a bit and then got up out of bed, pacing the room. He made his way into the closet, checking out how things were organized there, looked around in the bathroom, and decided to take a midnight shower. It was a crazy idea, sure, but he didn't have anything better to do and he didn't have his computer to keep him busy. He made his way in and turned it to hot, steaming up the entire bathroom. As he got out, he wrapped his towel around himself, making his way back into the bedroom to escape the steamed bathroom. The house was eerily quiet, so he decided to put on his music very softly as not to wake Tori. He got dressed, made his way back to the bed, holding the remote to his stereo. That's when he heard it. It sounded like someone was coming up the hallway. He muted the music, and sat there listening. The silence was buzzing in his ears, only broken by Tori's light breathing. Then he heard it again. Someone was slowly making their way up the hallway past their room. He sat there quietly, wondering who is was, and suddenly becoming paranoid of this ever so big house. He shut off the stereo completely, layed down in the bed, pulled the covers over his head, and turned towards the sleeping Tori, finally falling asleep.

Changing of Sexes. [Maturity should be must]
Queen Asuka replied to Mitch's topic in General Discussion
Originally posted by James I think that your first point is not really valid here, Tori. You can't compare drugs to sex changes in any way, shape or form. If you buy drugs, you are not only hurting yourself, but you're keeping the drug supplier in business. There are so many other aspects involved with that.
*Laughs* I just knew someone would point that out. It was a pretty bad point of comparison, I know, but just saying that it's okay because it's what they want just sounds ludicrous to me. I don't know. I am very hardbent on the opinion that I've formulated about this whole issue. I just think that people shouldn't alter their body in any sort of way. It's one thing to lose weight, change something about you in a normal way... But to get a liposuction because you're fat or a nose job because you don't like the one you have is just so ODD to me. Technology has made so many things possible and it's disgusting. And what's even more disgusting is when people get BOOB JOBS! I'm sorry, but I woman should feel beautiful with the body she has been blessed with, no matter what size chest she has. Okay, sorry I went off on a tangent there, but we are talking about altering the body. At least boob jobs aren't permanent. -
Real Name: Arianna Love Callsign: Erotica Age: 23 Gender: Female Alliance: Adam's Angels Very Long Biography: Born in the Southeastern United States, Aria grew up in a trailor park with her mother. Her father had long since divorced her mother and had ran off with another woman, leaving Aria and her mother to fend for themselves. Aria's mother barely made enough money to give them food and shelter, and so Aria never expected anything good to come out of her life. While in elementary school, Aria's teachers noticed that she was an exceptionally bright student. They enrolled her in gifted and told her how proud of her she was. One of those teachers, a woman named Mrs. Sharon Murphy, was worried about the home life of Arianna. She noticed that Arianna's clothes were never up to par and were quite revealing for a child, she wore a ton of make-up, she looked underfed, and she had a tendancy to not talk very much to others. Mrs. Murphy investigated the situation, found where Arianna lived, learned that her mother was a heavy drug addict and alcoholic, and got Arianna taken away from her. Arianna was then adopted at the age of eight by a very clean-cut family. The father was a preacher and the mother was your average house-wife. She didn't really find herself missing her mother as her mother didn't care for her, but she was scarred from then on out. She hated school and hated church, and just wanted to be herself. Her adopted father tried to restrict her in all aspects of life as she was growing up. He sent her to a private school, made her wear nice clothes, and tried to restrict her from anything that he saw as "unfit" for a young teenaged girl. But his efforts fell short. She began to hang around with a bad group of boys from the local highschool at age 13. They made her feel accepted and took her away from the haughty life that her adopted parents wanted her to live. They taught her things that a young child should never know. At fifteen, after her adopted parents found out about these "friends" they tried to restrict her from seeing them, she left home and ran away with one of them named Richard. She was convinced that she was in love with him, even though he was 20 and she was only fifteen. She soon learned however, that she would have to take care of herself from this point out. Arianna got a job at a local strip club, using a fake ID. She made a ton of money and by the time she was 18, because of her exceptional skills and good looks, she was recruited by a soft-core porn company, where she started modeling for their website, and then eventually starring in their movies. Richard, still her lover, didn't like this too well. He began to argue with her, get jealous, and then eventually start beating her. She knew she had to get away from it, and decided to go hard-core. This took her to California, where she became a big name really fast. Soon she was traveling all around the world, where she ended up in Japan. Her history with Adam is very private and intimate. She became one of Adam's Angels quickly, but did not particularly get along with the other Angels. Personality: A bit on the seclusive side, Arianna gets along well with others, as long as they are male. Females make her angry, and she tends to feel that when she is near one, life is all about competition. She wants to be superior, to be the best, and that is why she takes much pride in being Adam's lover. She's a master at the sexual arts, being experienced many years of her life. She's classy and sophisticated, despite her upbringings. She tends to be quite intuitive, even though she never finished school. She's full of zest and loves exhiliration, and she only achieves the highest of exhiliration in bed and when killing. Weapon: A very small chain-whip, that she keeps well-concealed. The handle is gunmetal colored and very sleek. Her nickname, Erotica, is etched into the side, along with many fancy designs. Picture: Auburn-colored hair, blue-green eyes, and sexy as all get out.
