That's why I like that wild-cherry Sonic the Hedgehog Shampoo smell. No one has that shampoo anymore, and it reminds me so much of when I was a kid. ^_^

Well, if any of you have visited myOtaku lately, you'd notice that my theme as of the present is Rainbow Brite. And there is very good reason for that! I love Rainbow Brite! I used to watch it when I was a kid and I am so sad that I cannot remember the wonderful things that took place on that show. I remember the sprites, the rainbow horse, the color kids, Murky and Lurky, and of course, Rainbow Brite. I used to have the Rainbow Brite doll with the really big head and small body, the one with the yarn hair that messed up easily. I miss things like this from my childhood. So I am asking, is anyone else here a big fan of Rainbow Brite? And no, I'm not talking about "Hey yeah, I got this really cool Rainbow Brite shirt at Hot Topic and I totally never saw the show!" I'm talking about the people who really did watch it when they were a kid. ^_^

Changing of Sexes. [Maturity should be must]

Changing of Sexes. [Maturity should be must]
Originally posted by KnightoftheRose My opinion on this subject is that if someone wants to spend the money on something like this, which is quite a lot I assume, let them. They're making somebody really rich and they're getting what they think they want, so truthfully I don't see anything wrong with it.
So you're saying it's okay, as long as you get what you want? That's almost like saying "Well, me buying these drugs is making someone rich, and I'm getting what I want, so it should be okay." That is the most selfish thing I have ever heard. And I think that getting a sex change is very selfish. Okay, so I'm sure that someone will throttle me for this opinion, but really, if you weren't so focused on yourself all the time, maybe you wouldn't have the problem of feeling traumatized because supposedly you are "trapped" in the wrong gender's body. For one thing, just getting a penis isn't going to make you a male, or vice versa. It's just going to make you a female with a PENIS! But you're still female! And for a male, you're just going to be a man with with VAGINA! And doesn't that just sound WRONG? It doesn't matter how much you want to be the other gender, it can never really happy. Having these operations is just giving you the foolish illusion that you're something that you're not. I'm with wrist cutter. Therapy is definiately a must here, because something is seriously wrong psychologically. -
X the Movie is only one hour long. And the manga series is 20+. See how that doesn't work? I liked X the movie because, like everyone has said, the animation is absolutely stunning. Anything done by CLAMP is amazing. But my favorite characters weren't developed at all and you couldn't learn a thing about them. It was sad. :( But yes, read the manga!
Originally posted by Kyo no Ryu Oh I wouldnt say that Asuka. They can change your hair, they can change your geens, they can give you facelifts, heck they can probably change your voice for the right price, youll be unrecognizable.
They can change you all right, but you will still come across as that same person. And they can't change your genes. That's scientifically impossible unless you're not born yet, and that's illegal. It doesn't matter how much you cut and dye your hair, how much you TRY to change your voice, how many facelifts you get, you will still be that same person, and you'll be recognizable, and you'll be disgusting. -
I love the smell of vanilla. It's so relaxing and yet so exciting at the same time. There's something so romantic and passionate about that scent. I want my bedroom to be full of vanilla candles. Of course, I only have one right now and I almost burnt the entire thing last night. Oh well... I also like this very strange wild-cherry smell. It's the scent of the Sonic the Hedgehog shampoo, if you ever had that. And bananas is a good scent, too. My mousse smells like bananas, and I really like it. ^_^

Changing of Sexes. [Maturity should be must]
Queen Asuka replied to Mitch's topic in General Discussion
Personally, I'm against the changing on the sex. It's one thing to be gay, but it's another thing entirely to want to change your gender. Then what are you? Are you not gay anymore? Are you straight? Are you a male or a female? I don't understand why people would even both to go through with it because it is usually obvious that they have changed sexes and they still don't come across as the gender intended. Maybe I don't know enough about the subject, but just the thought of penis being cut down and surgically molded into a vagina is so disgusting it makes me feel nauseous. -
We watched this movie my Junior year of high school, so I don't remember alot of the details except that my entire class loved the movie. We would all go around saying "Oh captain, my captain" to our teacher, Mrs. Murphy, who is a great teacher. She's actually here at UGA now with me. ^_^ Anywho, I think that the
suicide is his father's fault.
*Shrugs*

Tori laughed as Sara was pushed in the pool from behind by John and Josh, and was pulled in by Kenneth. As Sara resurfaced, gasping for breath, she looked infuriated. "Aw, Sara, don't be mad..." said Josh, noticing the look on her face. The angry look began to fade quickly as she looked around and noticed that everyone was looking at her intensely. She started laughing. "Yay! Sara's laughing!" said Ellie. Sara made her way over to the shallow end of the pool where Tori, Jenna, and Ellie had gathered. Tori looked up at John who was standing beside the pool with Josh. Neither of them looked like they were ready to go swimming. "Why aren't you guys in swimwear?" Tori said sadly. "We just thought we'd sit out here and have ourselves a nice cold drink of OJ and just watch you guys," John said. "Yes, and I brought the cookies," said Josh, munching on one. About that time, Kenneth made his way back into the water, splashing John and Josh as he jumped in. The two just stood there, soaking wet. Everyone burst into laughter.

Wow, well, I'd have to say that I'm pretty close to almost all of my family members, so I guess I'll just do it in this way: My Aunt Kim and Uncle Ace. When I was kid growing up, I used to practically live with them. They were my role models. I wanted to be just like Aunt Kim and I wanted to marry someone just like Uncle Ace. They don't have any kids and they influenced me in a lot of positive ways. About two years ago they moved to Oregon. I was so devastated. They flew me out there at the end of July, though, and I got to spend an amazing two weeks with them. My Mommy. I really love my mommy. Now that I'm away at college, I don't have the luxury of talking to her everyday when I want to. But me and her can talk about anything. She tells me all about when she was in high school, how things were for her, and how things are going to be for me. She's so fun and great. I love her. My Nanna and Mema. One is my mom's mother, one is my daddy's mother. I used to not be too fond of Mema, but now me and her get along great. I guess she's making up for lost time since she didn't spend any time with me and my sisters when we were kids, only being with my cousins because "we had Nanna and they had Mema." My nanna is Scottish and she is awesome. Her and Pop are always looking out for me, especially now that I'm in college. I know that they all love me and it's just so amazing. My sisters: Aprill, Brittney, and Franki I have a younger sister, Ashley, but she's 12...so it's hard to talk to her except to tell her how proud of her that I am. Aprill is the oldest and Brittney is the next oldest. Even though I don't approve of alot of the choices they've made, they're still my sisters and I still love them. We can talk about any and everything. Me and Brittney used to be inseparable. It sucks that we all went our own ways. With Franki, she's grown up alot and I'm just so proud of her. We used to not get along at all and I seriously used to wonder to myself if I loved her or not. But now I can definitely say that I do. I miss her now that I'm away. *Sighs* I LOVE MY DADDY, TOO! I just don't talk to him all that much. ^_^

Not exactly 100%, but I think that Sentimental Graffiti is just a dating simulation game and not an actual series. ^_^;

Okay well, whether Hojo is the father or Vincent is the father, we are completely off the topic of Yaoi. You can have this debate in the Sony forum. I'm sure the mods there wouldn't mind since there's not much life to it anyway. ^_^

Well BlazingYuzuke, welcome to the OtakuBoards. First of all, I can tell you missed your original destination and forgot to read the rules. There, in the OtakuBoards Information Center, it has been outlined clearly how to post, what to post, and what not to post. Favorites threads, especially one where you don't even give reasons why, is one of those you don't post. What you posted is considered spam, and your post quality is definitely not up to par. Also, you would notice that there is already a thread similar to this, and that duplicate threads are against the rules. I hope you read them carefully and heed to them next time. Take a look at the post that VashRocks just made. That is an example of a very well-made post. I hope you will do the same in the future. Thread Closed.
Originally posted by Jesus Chicken Everything was so much simpler then, and more and more I find myself craving for this time in my life, despite knowing that it is lost to me forever.
Yes, that's how I feel. I think that my childhood was the best times of my life. Whenever I think about how happy I was and all the great times I had, I get so sad. Like now. Being tired and run-down has made me very sad... So onto the questions: What was your childhood like? My childhood was hilarious. I was very "imaginative" and me and my sisters would reinact anything that we liked. Disney movies, Power Rangers, Super Mario Brothers, Zelda, Street Fighter, and stuff like that. I had four sisters, two older, and two younger, and me and Brittney was inseparable. Everyone really thought we were twins because we were the same age and looked just allike (which is really funny because we have different moms). Me and Brittney were the Zelda twins and the Chun-Li twins. That was classic. We were also obssessed with Spice Girls. Okay, so that was a phase, but it was hilarous. We were also convinced we were kids (about third or fourth grade for me?) that you could get "high" from eating blow-pops and drinking Pepsi. Okay, so we got super hyper, lol. And we would save up our money, make a list of stuff we wanted from the store, beg my mom to take us up there, and then buy stuff for all of us so we could have "mini-parties!" ^_^ And then, there was Lauren and Jeffery. They were my best friends that I grew up with. We were the biggest Star Wars kids ever. I was Princess Leia, Lauren was Luke, and Jeffery was, of course, Han Solo. Jeffery was my first boyfriend and I was convinced that me and him were going to get married. We used to go to my Aunt Kim and Uncle Ace's and play videogames all night and watch the Star Wars trilogy together. Good times. ^_^ Do you still want to be a child? I loved how happy I was, but then I think that there were bad times, too. Now I am considered a legal adult. It doesn't feel that way to me because I think that I still am a child. I miss all of that, but I'm happy with how I am now, I guess. Are you unable to deal with certain aspects of your life because of the fact that part of you doesn't want anything to be to complex? The only thing that comes to mind here is that I really don't see myself being a career woman. I've never had any career goals, never was sure about "what I wanted to be," and here I am in college, majoring in Genetics when I want to do art. *Shrugs* So yeah, I bet no one read that because it's so long...*sighs*

As Tori had arrived at the pool, she saw that Jenna and Ellie were already there. She quickly started removing the clothing over her bathing suit, when Ellie asked her about the uniforms. Tori perked up happily. "Oh, they are great! The colors can be whatever we like and they have lots of ruffles! Ruffles are always a blessing, I say," Tori said happily, stepping into the water. "Jenna says you're wanting to make them yourself?" "Well, I'm hoping to do that, but I'm not any good at sewing," Tori said, a bit embarrassed. "I'm so ambitious, but sometimes there's nothing there backing it up!" "Well, no worries. I'm handy on a sewing machine." Ellie smiled, proud of herself. "That's great!" said Tori. "Now all we have to do is purchase the material and we're set!" Jenna splashed the two of them and the begin splashing back. "Yes, and as she says, there are plenty of ruffles to go around," said Jenna, grinning at the two of them. About that time, Ken made his appearance, jumping into to pool. When he resurfaced, he began to float. All of a sudden, Tori came out of no where and threw her arm over him in an attempt to pull him underwater. Instead, she just sat there, her arm over him, struggling to do the impossible. "Ah Ken, you suck.." she said as Ellie and Jenna burst into laughter. Quietly, the door to the outside where the pool was opened. There stood Sara is a nice bathing suit. She just stood there, looking over the scene, a smile touching the corners of her lips. Tori spotted her after a moment and yelled out to her. "Hey Sara! Come join us in the pool! The water is great, like they always say!" she smiled widely, waiting for Sara's reply.

Well, I voted for Deedlit. Just for the plain and simple fact that she went first, therefore giving Asphy an unfair advantage over her. Good job on taking the plunge first, Sam!

You named your couch? That's pretty weird. But what's even more weird is that your couch sings and talks. Why would you be weirded out by it saying "hell?" You should be more weirded out by the fact that it's actually TALKING!!! And as Deedlit said, Mrs. Whatley would get pissed and cuss at our class sometimes. I thought it was hilarious. We would have to not look at each other because multiple members of the class would be able to just pass out from silent laughter. My professor who teachers Rock Music, Valdez, cusses sometimes. But he's hilarious. I really enjoy his class.

Well, since I turned 18 three weeks before my high school graduation, there were a lot of big changes going on, but not necessarily because of the age I was becoming. I got accepted at all my choice universities and I had to make a decision by May 1st which one to go to. May 1st is my birthday. ^_^ So I chose UGA and here I am. I graduated from high school, got lots of money, and in August, moved away from home. So yay! Being 18 is fun. Of course, I could legally smoke, drink (but not buy), go to bars, go clubbing, buy things from infomercials, and all that zany stuff, but really, I just don't take "advantage" of being 18. I'm just happy being up here in Athens at this huge "party" college and not witnessing a single party, lol. ^_^
