1. *Shudders* I hate this show. I hated it when I got the first volume, and I hated the animation, and I started a thread about it, no one responded, and now all of sudden it comes on CN and everyone loves it. It makes me hate it even more.
  2.
Originally posted by Shinmaru Semjaza Azazel - Gah, I can never find the time to IM him, which really sucks. I have a lot of respect for Semjaza's opinion on gaming, even if I disagree with him on occasion. Plus, he was really cool with me even after I made myself look like an *** those first few days after I came onto the boards. And I also find solace in the fact that he hates me just as much as he hates everyone else :p Booyah!
Tony doesn't hate me at all. He's one of my love slaves. And he told me I was his hero.
  3.
Originally posted by Shy Sorry Baron, I'm OB's official "Joshness."
And I gave you that nickname. Because you are special like that. And I even named my car after you, but my car is not special. So yes... The Joshness and I are going to plan a trip together. It's super fun.
  4. I think basically any "shoot 'em up" scene would work the best. Nothing all fancy shmancy.
  5. Okay, well I've decided to show how I relate to a few of these and why I thought there were funny. I wasn't an instrument player, I was on the Dance Line, but we were just as much a part of the Marching Band as everyone else. ^_^ You Know You've Been In band too Long When? 1.) You think going to competitions on Saturday's is more fun than getting presents on Christmas. I always looked forward to Saturdays in October. That meant full days of spending time with all my band friends and the nights of watching the amazing AAAA and Open Class bands. *Sighs* 2.) You're asked who the people in your family are and you start naming off band people. Okay, because the Dance line WAS family. 4.) You begin to think those funky hats you wear when you're marching are kind of cool... I always liked them. But maybe that's because I didn't have to wear one? I always liked to play with the "chickens" and I would always get people to let me wear their hat, especially for the funny shots after you perform at competition. 6.) Someone behind you says "band geek" and you turn around. 7.) Being a band geek is a good thing. Of course it is. We actually prefered to be called "Band Twinkies," but us JC girls made that up ourselves. ^_^ 12.) You have put your friends in two seperate catagories - band friends and non-band friends ... 13.) And the "band friends" category has at least 30 more people in it than the "non-band friends" section does. That is SO true. And all of my band friends that haven't graduated, I'm going to visit them Friday! ^_^ 14.) Your instrument has a name. Well, since I didn't have an instrument, I named everyone else's. Mary-Anderson's trumpet, Twinklebell, is actually my Goddaughter and we christened her at practice one day. 16.) You feel more at home with the band than with your own family. That's because they are around me WAY more than my family, lol. 17.) Going 2+ hours in 90 degree heat without water is easy. Yes, and I could KILL Mr. Lundin for that. And I could kill the idiots who "feel faint" even more. Oh yeah, and here it was usually 100+ outside. 18.) You think your band shirt is "pretty ... " 19.) And you constantly wear it in public. 20.) You have all the band shirts you've ever gotten [strike]in the back of your closet [/strike]right there in my drawer so I can wear them... 21.) And wouldn't give them up for anything. This past year, I designed our band shirt. So it, of course, is my favorite. I won a prize! And I love wearing all of my band shirts. ^_^ And they ARE pretty! Even the Greyhoundasaurus from my Sophomore year! 25.) Everywhere you go reminds you about something that happened in band. Isn't that a shame? 26.) Your favorite memories have something to do with band. Because all of my BEST friends were in band. I can't help but think about how much I miss it....*sighs deeply* 27.) Bus rides are fun. BUS 3 IS THE COOLEST BUS EVER! 28.) Changing on those buses with other people becomes natural to you. And it was oh so fun. Except when little perverts at the front of the bus are watching you change bras. *Shudders* 31.) Seeing trumpet players (etc.) empty out their spit valves on the floor isn't gross anymore. It is to me....I have a phobia of spit... 35.) Your leg muscles are the strongest muscles in your whole body ... Because we kick so dang high! Our dance team THRIVES on high perfect kicks. 41.) You think of what life without band would be and begin to cry. No, I see what life is without band, and I get upset. And I vow to try out for the Georgettes next year so I can be in the UGA RedCoat band! 45.) Uniforms are sexy. Especially the Dance teams. ^_~ 50.) You wish marching season lasted all year. Of course I do. At least we had competition dance in the spring. ^_^ 52.) Your crush is always someone in band. 53.) Having a crush on someone outside of band is just plain weird. Every year except my Senior year, I liked someone who was in band and dated them. Of course, Ryan was in his band when he was in high school...something about those band guys. 56.) You've had multiple dreams about band. Who hasn't? 57.) You can almost twist your upper body all the way around. No, I can. That's what flexibility and dancing will do for you. 58.) Numbers above 8 aren't important. Not really, no. 68.) You see your band more than your family... This is the most true statement of them all. And I really can't say I minded. 72.) Marching over someone who is unconsious from being smacked by a flag is a usual thing. (Just kidding, color guard!) Ha, well, we never had anyone knocked out, but we had a few whacks here and there. Even I was scared to get near them... 83.) Band isn't just an extracurricular activity, it's a way of life. 84.) You relate to this stuff. And it CONSUMES your life, too! 88.) You know someone's personality by what instrument they play. Yeah, trumpet players are arrogant, low brass is hilarious jokesters, Drum line is MOSTLY a bunch of slacker idiots, color guard is nothing but b*tches, and [strike]dancers are sluts.[/strike] Oh wait...those are just the stupid rumors, don't mind me. WELL, some of it is true. ^_~ 96.) Marching in the rain is the funnest thing in the world - even if you have to jerk your shoe out of two inches of mud and nearly fall on your butt a few times. Best half-time show of my life. There's nothing like Dancing in the Rain. I bet you anything it was our best performance. ^_^ I wish we had it on video. 97.) You can't pass a football field without smiling because it's makes you think of band... 98.) And band is the best thing in the whole world. It sure is. I miss it terribly. 101.) You count down the days to band camp ... 102.) And cheer when it finally comes. Only because I miss all of my friends and I hate having that stupid three month break. But of course, once it starts, I usually can't wait for it to be over. *laughs*
  6.
Originally posted by IloveBebop You can't really prove it until you ask a real witch. Do you even know the right person to ask? That's sort of a stupid thing to say.
Like I said, I did my Senior RESEARCH paper on it and I had to research all of the aspects of the contraversy. I find many websites of wiccans who were pissed because people thought Harry Potter is what they are all about. And ALSO, one of my best friends in high school was a wiccan. And she will let you know in a heart beat that none of it has to do with Harry Potter's latin root words. *Sighs* I wish you people would understand that.
  7. It sounds so interesting to me. The only thing that bothers me is how mainstream it's become. But I shouldn't let that keep me from seeing a great series. And I'm a sucker for any kind of thing dealing even the tiniest amount of romance, so I know that I would enjoy that aspect at least. Actually, I did watch one episode (Number 5?) and I thought it was gorgeous. The cathedral in the rain took my breath away.
  8.
Originally posted by Delaz I love anime music! damn it ive made my own cd of it!
Please put more thoughts and efforts into your post. It's not saying "Do you like Anime Music?" It's saying "Which anime music do you like?" I hope you adhere to the rules from now on. Thank you.

  10.
Originally posted by Chris heh, i just ask a few people to name some girls and put the names on there. if you want off the list, just ask. but how can you have changed my life if i've never even talked to you?
*Laughs* I was wondering why my name was on there. I was like "When did I agree to join that club?" Heh, it's all good and fun. I was joking with you anyway. ^_^
Originally posted by wrist cutter What happened that was so bad?
Marissa walked in on Ryan who was with another girl (because he thought she was back with Luke) and she runs off, finds Luke (her "boyfriend") and goes back to his house with him and gives up her virginity to sort of piss Ryan off and to make herself believe they are meant to be. Then this week she finds out he's been cheating on her all her life and she catches him in the act. *laughs a bit* Good stuff.
  12. When I see him wearing the skirt, it reminds me of PiroMunkie. Heh... I think I'll like the CD if it's as mellow as you say it is. *Shrugs* I can't wait to hear it for myself and have my own opinion.

Well, it has something to do with stupid Baseball play-offs. Bah, I hate baseball. I seriously don't think they'll kill Marissa, either. They've put too much emphasis on her character and it's development to just go and kill her off in 6 or so episodes. And I think she'll finally hook up with Ryan, which will be nice. And I was pissed that Jimmy kissed Kirsten. And that Rachel chic all hitting on Sandy. I wonder what's going to happen now that they are working together? I love how you only get bits and pieces of history and that you have to pay attention to understand alot of things.
  14.
Originally posted by Chris everyone you meet changes you life in some way or another, no matter how small. but thats beside the point. here are a list of people that have changed my life in a way i can actually remember. some have changed me a lot more than others, and some in better ways than others, but i will not show which have done which. it's just a simple list. spx kenji leh dd tony james dayday japan jena kittylyn justin ken wildthang harry wristcutter lady m lady k juu subversive booboo syk shinobi ginny ginnylyn piro nomad zeh kinetix kola su taylor hewitt mystical if i forgot anyone, i'm sorry. i know there are some i didn't list, and there is a reason i didn't list you. others i probably just forgot. 15. Well, I'm closing this thread because it's pretty much spam to start off with. Asking who the cutest anime guy from a certain series is not really going to generate much discussion. I hope that you DO indeed visit the OtakuBoards Information Center and read the rules about post quality. Thread Closed.
  16.
Originally posted by Inuyashagurl_15 I think after the last ep they shoul keep playing new ones
Please visit the OB Information Center and read the rules on post quality. What you typed was practically spam and you'll see why once you read the rules, which is required reading for all new members. If you continue to post like this, it will be deleted. Thank you.
  17. The only thing that I like about Totally Spies is that it accomplishes something that no other cartoon has EVER done. Each episode, they have on completely different outfits! Finally! A show where the characters seriously change clothes!
  18.
Originally posted by Mitch Ah. I see. And what's your opinion of Mer de Noms then? Is it also worth buying? It must be, because you seem to have rushed out to buy this album.
I'd have to say Mer de Noms is probably my most favorite CD of all time and the one that I always play when I get tired of everything else. I don't have an original copy, just a copy that Ryan made for Anna a LONG time ago that I borrowed and borrowed until Anna just finally gave it to me. I'm sort of scared to hear the new APC CD because of how much I loved the first one. But Ryan heard most of it and he said that it is very different but in a good way. He should be getting it this week and then I'll have my own copy. And I love mellow music. I thought Mer de Noms was pretty mellow, myself.
  19. I can't really say it's any different than what I said a few months ago, SO: Kenneth, my dear Kenneth, of course I had to put him first. He's such a fun person and it seems like I haven't talked to him in forever and that really makes me VERY VERY sad! Kenneth, you can't not be around... I don't like that... PiroHon, my husband, well obviously, he's my OB husband. He's very fun to talk to and he gave me newfound respect for some types of music I didn't think I was very fond of. *Thumbs up* Neilness, my Royal Executioner, whether you believe it or not, I love you to death. Thanks for all the randomness. The Joshness, even though I didn't change him, he has changed my outlook on a bit of life dealing with certain issues (I'm sure he doesn't realize this...) And come ON, he works at Disneyland! Deborahness, also known as Lady M for those of you who aren't on a first name basis. She's just such a beautiful person and she helped me find a bit of strength inside myself and helped me feel more confident...along with... Jennaness, who always told me how beautiful I was, but I never believed her. Now I do. Thank you, Jenna. *Huggles her* Semjaza Manaza aka the Tonyness, which is my favorite person to talk to in the wee hours of the morn when no one else is on. He always tells me I'm his hero, so I like that. ^_^; Jamesstuff, well he's neat to talk to. He tells me about the plushies, after all. And then there's the people that I love alot on here: Juuthena Deedlit Anna Amibaski Saraness Raiha TRANSTIC! Harlequin & Raven and others that I really respect. Anywho, so yeah. Hope that answers your question. AGAIN.
  20. Well, glad that's taken care of because this thread is pretty much spam. Thread Closed.
  21.
Originally posted by IloveBebop Well, at least some people (besides me) hate Harry Potter. They're really suggested of witchcraft, but that's beside the point. My point is (this relates to your post in some way), Harry Potter is somewhat worse than FLCL. Harry Potter has a lot more suggestive themes and voilence. It sort of tells children that they can learn witchcraft, or something like that.
*Falls over laughing* One of these days I'm going to post up my Senior Research Paper about the Harry Potter contraversy. I always think it's so hilarious when people say it tells how to do "withcraft." I'm quite sure the real "witches" would disagree. :rotflmao:
  22. xxMagentaxx, you need to put a bit more thought into some of your posts. Just a small warning...
  23.
Originally posted by Emme888 Underage drinking is fine, as long as you know your limits. But don't hang around people who are wasted, their judgements become impaired and they might do bad things, or try to at least. Like this guy this weekend is twice as old as me, and started to hit on me, and he tackled me, And i had to kick him in the head and the face to get him off. He says he doesn't remember, but that creeps me out. And later on that night he tried to do it again, This guy ( who i thought was a friend) turned out to be a real creep! So watch out for who you hang out with when you're drinking and know your limits.
And isn't this a FINE example of why NOT to drink? Geez, people...
  24. I liked the remix of 19/2000 better than the original, too. I really like the Gorillaz. Maybe it's because I always had a thing for Blur? I don't know...and since they had the same lead singer, it was fun. I liked the concept of the band actually BEING those animated characters. It was so nifty. They had cool names. ^_^ I always thought the little Japanese kid was a boy, though. Silly me.
  25.
Originally posted by Sara I was in Europe earlier this summer. Dealing with drunk classmates is not fun, especially when you're stuck with them in another country.
That's why I didn't go on my Senior trip.
