Well, I want to know who got casted...Anywho... When I was in kindergarden, I was in a nursery rhyme play in which I starred as Little Miss Muffet. I had the cutest dress. But I remember so well...I messed up my lines. I was supposed to say "Dear, oh dear! I'm so afraid of spiders!" There's no telling what really came out, but I remember not saying that. Oh well...

Oh, by the way, the grades you make in middle school are not even on your transcript that is sent off to colleges. Just to let you know.

I wouldn't consider myself a "God." Just "Mommy" as I like to refer to myself. My family has a ton of pets, but Angel, my cat, was just mine. So I was her mommy. And she would only come to me and she loves me to death. I miss her terribly. I hated that I have to leave her at home...But I always say to her "Come see Mommy" and "Mommy wuvs you!" and pet her and make her happy. And then she leaves me a beheaded mouse in the kitchen. Yummy. ^_^

Who is your favorite anime character of all time? As of now I'd have to go with Chi/Elda. And her sister, Freya. Why are they your favorite? They are both so beautiful and complicated. They have sweet spirits and love everyone and everything. Not to mention they are wonderfully innocent. What show are they from? Chobits. Although their characters are portrayed much better in the manga series. What do they do in the show? Oh, there are lots of things that they do. But mostly, Chi is just finding out about herself and her complicated feelings and making Hideki and others go insane. She's so lovable! ^_^ And Freya is basically just guiding her along.

The American CD you can buy just about anywhere, as it released by TokyoPop. I got it for about $12. It's pretty good. Sure, it doesn't have ALL the songs on it, but it's got the decent ones. Too bad I don't have "H.T. Destructive Angel" remix. *Shrugs*
Originally posted by Heaven's Cloud For all their musicality I can?t stand Rush?something about the lead singers voice drives me insane. Anyway, the majority of the music I listen to is ?classic? Rock, so I love many of the bands that have already been mentioned. The Allman Brother?s Band- In my opinion they are the greatest southern rock band of all time. Dick Betts and Duane Allman are incredible guitar players (Dicky Betts wrote ?Jessica? to be played with two fingers for a friend that was missing several appendages), Chuck Lavell is an insane pianist, and although Greg had a rough voice, it suited their music well. Eat a Peach is the pinnacle of all southern rock albums so if you like Skynryd give it a chance
I was going to say that the reason I like Rush is BECAUSE of the lead's voice. I thought it was pretty neat sounding. *Shrugs* The Allman Brothers are from my home town. You can visit one of their graves right in Macon. It's pretty cool. We also have the Georgia Music Hall of Fame that has alot of other local stuff in there. Pretty neato.

*Sighs deeply and does not comment about Syk3* Well, I happen to like the music in the series more than anything. It seems so different to me. I have the American soundtrack and sometimes I just listen to it for the heck of it. I don't know, Charlie, to each his own. ^_^ And yes, like someone else said, we already had a Trigun forum, but it wasn't doing too well. Well, it was doing fine, but subforums just don't live like they should, in my opinion.

Anime Somebody's suing Cartoon Network (FLCL related)
Originally posted by Dogfish You think it's the children's fault and partly it is, if their parents say not to watch it, they shouldn't. But if their parents can't even control what they are watching on television, they aren't doing a very good job as a parent.
It's all relative really. Who can possibly know who's fault it truly is? Is it the parents for not keeping an eye on their kids 24/7 or is it the children's for going behind their parent's back? Is it Cartoon Network for airing the show in the first place? Or is the creator of the actual show for making such a series? Like I said, it's all relative. I don't think I have an opinion anymore. You can't point fingers without knowing every single fact. Which is impossible. -
Originally posted by BabyGirl My address is definitely classifed information!
Well, that sucks, because I seriously wanted to write you some letters. There's a few old bands that I like. Pink Floyd: Okay, so I don't own any of their albums, but I love all of their songs. And my Junior year of High School, Warner Robins Marching Band did a Pink Floyd/Wizard of Oz show. Best thing I've ever seen in my life. I wish I could see it again. Amazing. And yeah...all that fun stuff. We listened to Pink Floyd in History of Rock today. ^_^ I hate Van Halen. With a passion. They suck SUPERBLY! Edit: Geez, no one's mentioned Led Zeppelin yet? You guys are freaking me out! Oh and yeah, I LOVE U2. I have no idea why. Their mellowness appeal to me, I suppose.

Well, at a University with 33,000+ students, there has to be a good bit of anime fans, right?

Okay well, you know what Greek and Roman mythology is right? It's what the Greeks and Romans believe to be true. They believed in all those multiple gods and those histories as their own. Same with Norse mythology. It's like that. There is a god of war, goddess of this, god of that. They are all pretty much comparable. Norse is just the most interesting of them in my opinion because I'm partial to where it originates from. *Shrugs* There is Chaos and there is Fenris. They sort of overlap later on in the series. It's amazing, though. There are lots of awesome plot twists and fun stuff. And it's graphically beautiful. But if you don't like fantasy stuff, don't get it. But I'm telling you, it's one of the better series out there.

Is it just me, or are Adam Sandler movies going downhill? I've seen Mr. Deeds and it was okay. I didn't laugh as much as I wanted to. And I have never really desired to watch it again. There's nothing like Happy Gilmore, I don't suppose.

I personally don't like the transition. I remember when Toy Story came out how much I hated that one guy sang all the songs in the movie and that the characters didn't sing them. Although now, Toy Story is one of my favorite Disney movies and I adore all of the songs in them. I just love Woody and Buzz! *Squeaks loudly* Anywho, I ADORE Disney songs. (Where the characters actually sang, that is.) When I was a kid, it was so awesome to be able to just break into a chorus of "Prince Ali" or "Part of Your World" with my sisters. Heck, my sister burnt a bunch of copies of Disney CDs and one day we just rode around and sang them at the top of our lungs. You just can't beat that. I especially like the songs from Cinderella and Mulan. And Aladdin. And the Aristocats. And Sleeping Beauty. And Beauty and the Beast. And HERCULES! Man, I love the songs from Hercules. You know what? I need to go watch some Disney movies before I have a nervous breakdown.
Originally posted by SadClown Or better yet "Lifestyles of the rick and the famouse, they're always complaining..." Hypocrites.
I know, I thought that was so hilarious. These guys are "rich and famous" so what in the world are they going on about? Did they live hard lives when they were children? Well, what does it matter now!? They get free crap all the time and well, they're rich! I don't like them because of the image they give off. They look so hard-core, but they sound so puny.
Originally posted by satan665 Back in the Pearl Jam/ Nirvana era I would say Alternative music but that term pretty much fell apart. Indie? Rock and Roll? I utterly have no classification, usually amounts to me spouting off band names that people haven't heard of.
Since that is the era of music that I happen to thrive in, I just call it the "Early 90's/Circa 1992" rock. I usually include my bands like STP, Pearl Jam, Nirvana, Alice in Chains, the Pumpkins, etc. Even though they may not be exactly in that time frame, that's just when I remember MYSELF getting into them. Good times.

I've been wanting to hear older stuff. The new singles that have been released recently have not really caught my interest. *Shrugs* I want to give them a chance...I just don't have the resources. And the radio is crap. Well, 99X is okay...

Well, I live in Georgia. Yes, I have a Southern accent. It's not as bad as some people (like my mother), but if you wasn't from the South, you'd DEFINITELY notice it. When I went out to Oregon for two weeks, people were constantly asking me where I was from and commenting on my accent. They loved it. And they loved to mock me, too. Oh well. I didn't realize how much of an accent I had until then either. Now I catch myself sometimes and I'm like "That sounded WAY too Southern." Oh well. I actually adore my own accent. *Huggles it*
Originally posted by Transtic Nerve You're the nice guys, thats why you're all their friends ....if you were one of those stupide jerk offs, then all the gurls would be all over you.....
Isn't that the most stupid and moronic thing you've ever heard? And the stupid jerk-off guys only like the preppy girls who have no common sense. Hey, Meteora, you're better off without them. Find a nice girl who's like you. There's nothing wrong with being the shoulder that some people need.

I cry when someone I look up to yells at me. If my teachers would have gotten angry at me, I would have gotten pretty upset. One time I got in trouble at Drill Team practice by this girl named Missi. She was my IDOL! I started crying. *laughs* She felt so bad because she yelled at me for something I wasn't doing. Sometimes I cry when I get in fights with my parents. It depends on alot of circumstances at one time. If there's alot going on, then I'll just spill over the edge. And I'm impatient. Sometimes I cry when I get frustrated. Just ask poor Ryan. And sometimes I cry when people find out my weaknesses and prey on them. EVIL PEOPLE!

You know, I'm sort of in my own little situation like this one. It's pretty difficult, but I guess it's helping me to gain a bit of maturity in this aspect. What's happened to me is that now that I'm in college, I basically don't have "friends." I have five friends who all came to UGA with me, but our communication is pretty minimal. Everyone is so busy doing their own thing that you are pretty much out of whack. Whereas in high school, you have your friends always there because your classes are at the same time, you are in the same activities, you are in one small collective area pretty much. You ALWAYS have someone to talk to. Now I feel like I DON'T have anyone to talk to. Sure, my roomies are nice, but they do not know me and I do not want to share my personal life with them. I try to stay close to Doug, but he seems more interested in the people he's meeting. And that leaves me with two choices: my close internet friends and Ryan. Ryan is overly stressed himself. Between school and work, he barely has time to eat and sleep, much less pacify me when I need it constantly. So I find myself relying more and more on you guys. But it's not bad. It's quite fun, actually. But yes, it was pretty stressing, but I'm finally adapting to being alone. It's not so bad. You can eat a whole lot faster. ^_^
Originally posted by Heaven's Cloud That is such a weak excuse! If you never go because you don't know anyone then you'll just regret it later on.
Well, if I knew more about the club and what they do for three hours on a Monday night when I have Calculus at 8 the next morning, I might would go by myself. I just don't like jumping into cloudy waters, if you know what I mean.

No, it doesn't have Greek gods in it at all. There are characters who have to do with Norse mythology, which is the most interesting of them all. If you're not into that stuff, then don't buy it. But it's a REALLY good series.
