Bikini Bandits meet Adam's Angels... Back in the day, the Angels were rather well known. *wanders off into memory*
Adam's Angels will still be the top dawgs around here at the OB. What's really cool is that I'm a member of the elite Angels AND a Bikini Bandit. I like to make my sexy self as useful as possible to those who need me. ^_^ I DO miss Jenna and Deborah, though. I wish they would come back... ;_; No, OB is not lacking on sexy people, but they were definately some of the SEXIER.

James I knew you were busy, lol, I just wanted to know if you had any plans any time soon for making the next post. Trust me, I KNOW about delays and being busy. And it sucks that someone has dropped out. But there were so many great sign-ups, can you just pick from one of the others? I'm sure you've considered that option, so I don't know why I bothered to type that out, but yeah...^_^;

Where is the next Kill Adam post? Josh posted his first half of the chapter over a month ago. ;_; I miss Kill Adam.

The Half-Blood Prince, huh? I figure that the last two books are going to be pretty freaking gruesome, considering the level transcended with the fifth one. It makes one speculate, you know? I can't wait to see how the series is concluded. I only hope that Fred and George made appearances still. What will the last two years of Hogwarts be without them? ;_;

LOL, I was hoping I could somehow be a part of the downfall of DW. ^_^ I can't wait to see what you have in mind. It's a very funny first chapter. Especially the bit about cologne, which grosses me out, lol.

What would you classify your clothing style as?
Which reminds me. Not only do I need that shirt (badly), I need a picture of you wearing it!
I got the shirt off this website called GoJosh.com and it was $15 and it is the best fitting shirt that I own. It is long enough to cover my belly and it tight enough to flatter my figure. And, like I said, it's dark pink. I wear it all the time, so I'll see what I can do about getting you a picture. ^_^ -
I am sorry that you're going through this right now. There was once this girl in my school (she eventually dropped out, imagine that) when I was in middle/high school and she used to always try to pick fights with people, especially on the bus. She thought she was so much better than everyone, but we all hated her and made fun of her because she looked like a rat. She started picking on my little sister and trying to fight with her, among other people. Finally, my friend ended up getting really pissed and got off the bus at her bus stop. That girl ran all the way home and then locked the door and wouldn't open it. So mainly she was all talk. And I think that a lot of people like that are, and will take advantage of you if you don't fight back. So yeah, do what you gotta do, but don't let them run all over you.

And what's so great about it is that it is not even original lyrics.

*doubts that anyone will read this, but posts anyone, lol* Well, since I work most of the week, I'm usually wearing a T-shirt and some jeans. Right now, the only jeans I wear are American Eagle because my Gap jeans SPLIT OPEN when I did a cartwheel and Old Navy jeans aren't worth a flip and just don't fit right. My T-shirts come in a wide variety. I have lots of high school tees, college tees, and lots of interesting and cute tees from Hot Topic. Every now and then I'll wear a cute little top, but mostly just babydoll tees. My three favorite shirts are (and anyone who knows me can verify this, lol) my Kill Bill "Kill is Love" logo shirt (it's PINK!), my purple Ravenclaw shirt (my favorite Hogwarts house!), and my black shirt with the most BEAUTIFUL fairy/butterfly anime girl in all red/black/pink with hearts galore. Add my tight but very long and flared blue jeans with my pink and grey Skechers or black Burkenstock rip-offs, and you basically have me. And OH! Aren't those shelf tank-tops the best things in existance? I need more of them! -
I feel like I just don't have time for my old hobbies anymore. Now that I work all the time and am a full-time college student, I realize that I don't have time for anything anymore (except wasting time, lol, if that's a hobby). I used to be on the dance team when I was in high school. It was something that I loved so very much. It took up all my time, but it was so worth it. Not only did I learn a lot about teamwork and sisterhood, but I also became a wonderful and beautiful dancer. I know that the dancer spirit is still in me and that I'm going to recapture it one day, but right now it's being repressed. Bleh. I also used to spend a lot of time drawing. Sure, I do alot of stupid sketches and stuff now, but I used to be SERIOUS about drawing. Just like I used to be serious about anime. I used to spend every penny I had on anime and would watch it constantly. Now, I can't even remember the last time that I bought something anime related...that doesn't mean I don't love anime anymore, I just can't afford it/don't have time for it. I HAVE been playing Ragnarok Online like there's no tomorrow. Videogames used to be a hobby of mine, as well. I have my XBox and I have Knights of the Old Republic, but I haven't even played it yet. That's part of my Christmas Break quest...to play some damn videogames. ^_^; Yeah, I HAD hobbies. I miss them.. ;_; I have been reading a lot lately, which is another thing I enjoy a lot. ^_^

For some reason, it seems to me that it's mostly the older members who complain about the OL. I don't know if this is because I only talk to older members, being one myself, or if it is the general consensus, but I'm leaning towards the former rather than the latter. I think that what it is for me and probably a lot of other people is that it's nothing new. Just about everything that is talking about in there has already been discussed a million times before in the previous years of our membership here. Since retiring from my moderating duties, I've made an effort to post in the OL on a regular basis so that I can perhaps get to know these younger and newer members and to can my Elitist B*tch attitude about everything. I realize that they have important things to say and even when they sound so stupid and immature, I realize that I used to be the SAME way, going back and reading some of my first posts around this place. I think the OL will ALWAYS be the way it is. It's just the way it is set up and somethings that may seem redundant and mundane to some of us will be very important to the younger and upcoming generation. At least, that's my take on the whole thing. You tell me what you think. ^_^;

I always think about how our bulldog, Bandit, will HIKE HIS LEG ON THE TREE NO MATTER WHAT!!!! It's part of the Christmas tradition, I guess. I don't know, all I can think about it the tree not having any water because the dogs insisting on lapping it all up. But it's just so much fun. ^_^ My dogs Hercules (who is dead, RIP) and Honey used to have little Christmas stockings on the tree. I don't know what happened to them, but now we're up by a few chihuahuas and cats and so yeah, too many pets to have individual stockings.
Maybe in that instance but she has a history of bitching about stuff becoming mainstream. But, is it possible, that maybe, they didn't start liking it because he died. But they started due to the publicity his death got, more people were able to hear his music. And that what spiked their popularity to new heights? I honestly doubt it. But the point is. She wasn't saying that's why she detests it. She detests it because it became cool.
What the hell are you talking about? I'm glad you know me SO well. I don't detest Nirvana in the least. They are definately up there on my list of favorite bands. Like I said, I have a couple of their albums and I have a few T-shirts that I wear from time to time. What I was saying is that it is so SAD that Nirvana became EXTREMELY popular once Kurt was dead. Do you know see that at all? Look at the other bands of the era. If Eddie Veddar had killed himself, maybe Pearl Jam would be as popular today as Nirvana. Nirvana is a great great great band. All I was trying to say is that they aren't the best there is. I have my opinions, the other guys has his. Next time don't act like you know who I am.

What to do around people you like...
Queen Asuka replied to ryo_sagara's topic in General Discussion
I hope I'm not the only one on the OB to find it so amusing to hear you giving everyone relationship advice and then telling them that if they have questions to please ask you. But I don't mean that in a bad way, I just think it's funny. Your advice is pretty good, though. It sucks to be shy around the person you have a crush on. I really can't speak from experience too much, but I do not that I never liked eating in front of my boyfriends or guys that I knew liked me. I guess it made me feel gross, but I am SO over that now. I am always stuffing my face with something, whether my boyfriend is around or not. It's great. ^_^ I guess that would be MY piece of relationship advice to any girls out there: guys wont think you're gross for eating in front of them. It's NATURAL. And everyone has to eat. And not like rabbits. -
P.S.: Doesn't the house in the picture remind anyone of the Wizard of Oz and the Tornado? Uber freaky/cool. ^^;
LOL, I agree. You know, I wouldn't be surprised if that's where it came from. ^_^ I am looking very forward to the sequel. Hopefully the all wise and powerful Shy (who is so much sexier than DW) will return. Yayness! -
I honestly believe that the only reason Nirvana DID get so blown up right there in the middle of their career was because of Kurt's death. Sure, the band had it's following, but how much larger did the following become once Kurt died? Once it became "cool" to like Nirvana? I'm not saying they are not a great band because I have a few of their albums myself, including the "Greatest Hits," but Stone Temple Pilots rock Nirvana, hands down. Not to mention Pearl Jam, Soundgarden, Smashing Pumpkins, Alice in Chains, etc. Need I say more?

Writing The Legend of Otaku Hollow [PG-13]

Speaking of kuja, he's still on my AIM buddy list back from the days when I used to be friends with him when he was admin of Kevin's message board. (I'm sure there are a lot of people who dont' know who Kevin is either! Yes, we're old fogies, Roxie.) I liked this story all the way to the very end. My favorite character was of course, Shy. He was just so wise and wonderful and everything the Joshness should be. My least favorite, however, was DW. I just hate the way he thinks he's so sexy and everything. Damn those teaparties. -
I like the picture. It's simple and nice. The only thing that I would have to say about it is that his arms seem too short, but I don't know if that's just me or what. I tend to draw Sailor Moon-esqe type LONG legs and arms with LONG flowing hair. Not saying my stuff LOOKS like Sailor Moon, mind you, but the body proportions are about the same. Good job, though. I would like to see more when you ever put some up.

I'm with you DW, I love the Christmas music. And that's why I'm so thankful for internet radio because while I'm sitting down and browsing away, my winamp player has some sort of Christmas radio station going. I've been listening to it since before Thanksgiving. My boyfriend thinks I'm sick, but there's just something so calming and soothing about Christmas music. My favorite carols are probably all of the ones from the classic movies that I've been watching every single year for as long as I can remember. I happened to be a bit fond of the redneck Twelve Days of Christmas, but considering my origins, that shouldn't be too surprising, right? ^_^;

I work with food servies, but thankfully it isn't fast food. Since I work at a college dining hall, I can have what tastes as good as a homecooked meal, to pizza, to burgers, to nachos and cheese, to omelettes, to deli and soups, salad, cereal, a bajillion desserts, every day that I work. And guess what? I'm SO SICK of all of it! I am so very thankful that in my job I have a variety because I just don't know what it would be like to eat the same thing over and over and over again, especially something that is so UNHEALTHY... My boyfriend works at a fast food restraunt and has been for a little over a month and he complains that he is getting fat (give me a break). I suggested to him to take a sack lunch, but then he complains that he doesn't have any food at home. But that's the best I could come up with. If you could afford to eat out at a different place everyday, then I guess you definatel wouldn't be working at McDonald's. Oh, and working out should be good, too. As long as you take care of your body and work out, it doesn't matter WHAT you eat. But I guess I need to practice what I preach. ^_^;

The only thing I like about Velvet Revolver is Scott Weiland. And that is because Stone Temple Pilots is my favorite band of all time. And if I could, I would go see Velvet Revolver JUST TO SEE SCOTT! They are playing in Atlanta next week, but the tickets are outrageous. Oh freaking well. Besides, I don't like how they still sound so much like Guns'n'Roses. I prefer STP.

So much for letting mom get me the OC boxed set...the only place that had it in stock was Media Play and they price matched me with Best Buy's price. So WHOO! I got it for $20 cheaper. ^_^ So yeah, now what is mom going to get me for Christmas? DDR on the XBox looks promising.

I am so thankful for TOILET PAPER! Gah, what would this world be without it's gentle softness? I can't tell you how many times I've been so pissed off and had to use something OTHER than that white fluffy goodness...And my mom stole my other roll of toilet paper, too, and I've had to start stealing it from the Chemistry building bathroom...Oh woe! And Ryan, too. But mostly Toilet Paper.

Well, nowadays I have the great privilege of taking some anti-anxiety medication and getting COMPLETELY knocked out and falling asleep. I also like to sit at my computer and find something to do. And music is good, too. And so is watching the OC. ^_^;
