Oh, I didn't realize it was a video thingie that someone had made. ^_^; Nah, you don't have to post the lyrics unless someone else requests it. But that's pretty funny. I've never heard it.

I KNOW who Rikku is. I'm talking about the NEW girl, the one that's in this picture right here! And I know about the Paine girl, too. I just want to know this girl's name.

I do this weird thing with my hands where I have them in fists, but my thumbs are sticking up. Very strange. Two very good friends of mine do the coolest things while they are dancing. One can get on his knees, press with his hands, etc etc. The other swings his arms around like he's dancing. For some reason it looks cool, even thought it's hard to explain. When Anna plays, she holds her arms directly at her sides.

Trigun beer song, eh? Does it make any references to the series in the song? Will you post the lyrics? ^_^

I LOVE that series. My favorite character is Naru. I don't remember which one is volume nine because I pretty much read them all at one time. I've read all thirteen volumes. I really want to see the TV series! Oh by the way, are there any Paradise Kiss fans here? Or Peach Girl?

Anime How do you feel about the Mainstreaming of Anime...
Queen Asuka replied to a topic in Otaku Central
The only series I am so thrilled about being shown is Trigun. I have no idea why, but when I think about it, I just get so excited. That is the perfect series for people to get into and love and from what I hear, they haven't cut out anything. ^_^ Oh and by the way, I wouldn't call myself elitist, just selfish. v.v -
Alright, I had a hard time picking one because there were so many funny responses, so here's my top five in descending order.
"This is why penis size should NOT be measured by inches."
Cyke's was pretty good. ^_^ Alright number 4.
A good reason not to mix Viagra and steroids.
Ginnylyn's was the original involving steroids and Viagra. So of course, I liked it the first time, but after that it got old.
"Disney unvails the latest sequel to Pinnochio!"
Good job, Jesus Chicken. You were number 3.
"Ack, I shouldn't have worn meh kilt te bed last night. I'm allergic te mosquito bites!"
I really liked your Scottish accent you added, James. Yours was pretty original. It was a close run, but you all know who the winner is!
*waits for TN*
I loved yours, Sara, along with everyone else. So I knew I had to give it to you. And TN, I liked yours too, the one about size DOES matter. ^_^
Originally posted by Arkadyz Oh and im sorry i never did get into subs much...I tried to watch an ep. of dbz in sub and it was annoying as hell...I couldnt stand the sound of the voice actors...Maybe i was just too used to the american voices but i thought they where horrid... And dub doesnt always = edited ya know...Ah well thank god for dvds you can have it either way...
Did you ever stop to think that maybe the subbing wasn't the problem, it was the actual series you were watching? -
Hey, I actually agree with having a manga forum where you discuss just manga. It could be a sub-forum and not something very big. It's not discussed that much, but it could be, seeing as how TokyoPop has gotten their hands on TONS of series that are upcoming and becoming popular.

Syk, I want the link to the site that sells the boxed set for $35 because everywhere I go, they want $180. And that's a rip off. ANYWHO, I liked the dubbing of Trigun the first time I watched the show. It's one of the only dubbed shows I watched and enjoyed every person's voice. And because of that, I've only watched it subbed one time. This also is probably the only series I'm happy to see on Adult Swim. This series is so GREAT I want the whole world to watch it! ^_^
Originally posted by spike 23 I have to say i agree vash is thee most amusing characters ive seen in a long time OH YEAH And also word up to all the plant lovers OH YEAH
Please try to clean up your post and make it just a bit more coherent. ANYWHO, you guys, I did NOT know that
Wolfwood dies
, so I'm so glad that was ruined for me....I'm pretty mad. That's what the SPOILER TAG is for! You can't just assume everyone has seen the entire series! AnyWAYS, Ben, I agree with you. I love the comedic side more than the serious side because I love to laugh and it was just hilarious. It's what made the show so excellent in the beginning.

I know this has probably already been asked, but I don't feel like going and looking throughout all of this entire thread, so I figured someone could help me out. The girl with Yuna, the clone/twin person, can someone PLEASE tell me what's up with her and if she has a name? I'm REALLY curious. Thanks so much! ^_^

What gets on my nerves more than anything is how people think that just because they can play that game they can dance and if you can't play it, you can't dance. Well, I'm a dancer and I'm here to say that being good at that game has NOTHING to do with dancing abilities. The moves we do require our entire body and not just our legs. What's funny to me is that everyone I've seen that's any good at that game is this nasty goobery looking guy. When they play, their mouths hang wide open and they hold their arms in this weird position like a retarded person. And then they think they are so cool when they really have no idea how stupid they look. And that reminds me...if you want to see something funny, just watch them as they play and see how different people hold their arms. Since you aren't doing anything with your arms, different people do different things. It's hilarious. ^_^
Originally posted by Daz anyways i think chobits is good cause its god a deep story line and can be confusing at times and i admire that in stories anyways plum is one of my fave characters
Daz, there are quite a few rules that you've just broken here. Number 1, not only did you double post, you tripled posted. If you need to add something to you post, just edit it instead of creating a whole new one. Number 2, you posted links to other websites which is not allowed here unless it is in your signiture. I hope you take note to these rules and have a nice time at the OtakuBoards. :)

Name: Victoria Aelyne (A-leen), but everyone calls her Aelyne. Nickname: Angel Age: 18 Appearance: She has long medium length naturally blonde hair with candy pink streaks throughout. She was blessed with an hourglass figure, which she uses to her full advantage. She wears lots of black and pink. Her favorite outfit is her black skirt with pink plaid pleats and her black and pink knee-high socks. She wears lots of dark eye make-up as well. Character Sketch: Aelyne grew up in a quiet neighborhood where she's lived all of her life. Her father, an abusive alcholic, beat her mother until she left and divorced him. Now Aelyne lives at home with her two younger sisters whom she has to provide for because her father refuses to work until her mother comes back home. To help take care of her family and the costs of living, she works as a stripper at nights afterschool. That's where her nickname, Angel, orignates from. She hates doing it, but it makes her lots of good money to take care of her sisters. Aelyne also has a close friend with who she grew up with. They have known each other since they were children and were always there for one another during all the hard times. His name is Dan [PiroMunkie] and all throughout highschool the two of them have had let many people know that they were only friends; nothing more...or so they think.

Anime How do you feel about the Mainstreaming of Anime...
Queen Asuka replied to a topic in Otaku Central
Originally posted by TheDarkOtaku Let's face it. Most CN DBZ fans are arrogant and claim they've seen every anime in existence. Now this makes me laugh.
*Falls over* YES! That is totally my argument! DBZ is so awful and it sells out everything! When I went to Disney World two years ago, the store in Japan in Epcot was so awesome. There was a huge variety of anime stuff and I fell totally in love. Last week when I went, the entire store almost consisted of nothing but Hello Kitty and DBZ! What happened???? But just like you, I am very against the mainstreaming of anime. I know it's impossible, but it was always something I treasured because not many people had it and I wanted to keep it all for myself. Now that it's out there in the open and everyone has access to it, it lost all of it's uniqueness. -
My marriage tag in my signiture is just a joke. And a very nice on-going on. It's fun to say you're married, especially when it's to a close friend. Like me and Piro. ^_^ I am not really opposed to internet relationships. I believe it's the newest and most convenient way to meet people. You don't judge by looks because you meet each other's personalities head on. It is something that becomes more personal because you CAN'T see that person... And for all you people who talk about people lying on the internet, I've only encountered that with younger children who want to say their 18 when they are obviously 11 or 12. That's what ticks me off.

Oh my gosh, these are all so hilarious. I'll make a decision soon, though. I try to pick the one that makes me laugh, but ALOT of these made me fall out. So yeah, I'll be right back with you...

Alright, in the spirit of the Highland Games in Culloden next weekend, I give you the newest pic! Have fun! ^_^ TN, mine was so stupid, but hey, I won! ^_^

Very interesting Matt. Especially since he responded that way...Heh. Alright, I think it's my turn. Although, I don't remember much...Heh. Who was your first kiss? This guy I dated in the ninth grade, Mark. Well, the summer before. I mean, this was my first KISS. Not a little peck, mind you. How old were you? A blossoming 14 How was it? Awful. This guy was the most GROSS kisser. He would slobber on me and ewwww...he drooled when he kissed. You can't get any worse than that although I think Jenna's may come pretty close. What were the circumstances? You know, I really don't remember. It was probably the first time I met him in person. I saw how ugly he was and I wanted to run for dear life. Superficial? Yes...and then we ended up dating for 8 months. It was not a very fulfulling relationship, though. I think we were at my mema's. What was your Worst/Best Kiss? Worst? Well, technically it was a good kiss, but the guy, Chris, had just popped in some WinterFresh, which I absolutely hate, and that was all I could taste. YUCK! >.

*Stares at the newest family portrait for the longest time* You always out do me! That is GREAT! And I love the way Pearl looks. I still think that Dexter is the coolest looking kid, though. And you are just this very villanous looking father. And I love my hair and my dress. ^_^ I love it I love it I love it! ^____^ And oh yes, Ken, you are Pearl's Godfather. Sara is the Godmother. Just to let you guys know. ^_~ -
Well...I like Dodge trucks and VolksWagon Beetles. Fords are a pain in the rear. We have an Explorer and there is ALWAYS something wrong with that thing. I hate it...and I love it at the same time... I really like our Dodge Dakota though...I am definately a truck person...

I don't know, I was just thinking. When I read manga, the girls always act like their first kiss is such a BIG ordeal...and of course it is. So I always think, how was the first kiss? Well, the usual response was that it was horrible. I have only one friend who had a wonderful and romantic first kiss. So, now it's your turn... Who was your first kiss? How old were you? How was it? What were the circumstances? (Where, Time, etc) What was your Worst/Best Kiss? Looking forward to your responses! ^_^
