Nfrared, I merged your thread with this one since it is Evangelion based. This thread is very general, so the things you addressed in your thread can be discussed here as well. ^_^

You know, and somewhere I saw where someone said Eva sucked because there wasn't enough action and it was too emotional and psychological. I think that just means that they weren't mature enough to understand it and that it went way over their heads. But obviously, the series is a favorite of mine. ^_^

With that last one, I was SURE Shyguy was going to get it.

I didn't see Alice this year, but last time I went I took a picture with her. I'll scan it as soon as I can so you can see. I thought she was very cute but she didn't look YOUNG enough in my opinion. My favorites were Megara and Jasmine. They were so beautiful and so well done. Sleeping Beauty was the worst. She had ugly hair...

Well, this is how the prices go. At Disney World, it's $1 for three songs. Universal, $1.25 for five songs on USA Mix or $1.50 for however many on DDR Extreme At my mall, they have the 7th mix and it's 50 cents for three songs. My favorite song is End of Century. I haven't memorized all the other names yet. Heh.

Anime How do you feel about the Mainstreaming of Anime...
Queen Asuka replied to a topic in Otaku Central
I am against the mainstreaming of anime because more "pop series" like DBZ are created and all these little kids who think they know what anime is watch it and claim to be the number one anime fan. It gets annoying after a while... -
*Falls over laughing at Jenna* Well, Juu Darling, I am going to post some pictures as soon as I get them. I went to pick them up today and the lady at Wal-Mart (Oh the irony) was so rude and they weren't ready even though they were supposed to be and yeah...*sighs* I hate Wal-Mart.

Well, it's good to see that there are some Tira Misu fans around here. I like her better because she is more collected and intelligent and knows she is sexy and doesn't have to always flaunt it. Chocolat is a stupid airhead who always wants to flaunt everything she has. I guess guys seem to like that sort of thing in a female, though.

Oh yes! I knew that this name sounded very familiar. I have been wanting to see this series and I almost bought it once, but then I decided not to. Ste has the first two volumes of the manga and the character designs aren't that cute, but I'm definately thinking of picking it up and reading it. I love romance stories! ^_^

Yes, there is a thread about this, but it died after two posts, so maybe this one will be more successful. I have the first episode on DVD that came out of Newtype magazine, but I haven't got a chance to watch it yet. So what's so great about this series?

Hmm....I really had to think about this and I don't know if it's my favorite, but I've never been a big fan of villians, so yeah... Who: Suboshi Anime: Fushigi Yugi Info: He's part of the Seiryu Seven. He has a twin brother named Amiboshi who is also part of the Seiryu Seven. They both saw their parents killed before their eyes. All they've had their entire lives is one another. Amiboshi falls in love with Miaka and Suboshi falls in love with Yui. It, sadly, is an unrequitted love and so he dies sadly. Why? He was so sad and pathetic. He really made me upset when he
killed Tamahome's entire family because he thought Amiboshi was dead.
He had a chance to be with his brother once more, but decided that his fate was the protect Yui. He was very tragic. And he was very beautiful.

I haven't seen Wrath of the Ninja, but I have Ninja Scroll and I don't really like it. I don't particulary like the style of the genre of the anime. My parents watched it once and I don't know how they reacted to it. So yeah...
Originally posted by Forest_Pixie I started way back.. with a little anime called UNICO. I was so obsessed with it, i would always rent it, then one day it was gone. Then on USA network this other little show called Sailor Moon started airing int he morning before school.... and no one knew what it was.. So I was all alone, then SM left and then it was on channel 13 for awhile then alot more people got into it and then it left again, then it reappeared a few years later and now the world loves SM
I agree with that. When I liked Sailor Moon, no one knew what it was, but all of a sudden it shows on Toonami and it becomes popular. VERY annoying, that is. Anywho, when I was a little kid, I used to watch Thundercats everyday. I don't exactly remember when it started because I was so young. The only thing I can remember is when I was about six or seven years old, waking up in the middle of the night and watching Akira. It was dark in my house and the tv lit everything up in a while glow. I was mesmerized. So yeah... And Evangelion is the best series. Hands down.
Originally posted by Galvatron Most of us should be in are teens and be mature around the message board, and see it as just a anime charecter no more no less.
That's not always the case. Some people around the boards are 11 or 12 and haven't been exposed to things such as nudity. As children grow up and hit puberty, anything nude, ANYTHING, no matter whether cartoon or real, will be something they are interesting in. And mature people on the Otaku...*Laughs a bit* Seems as though they are few and far between... And yes, there is a BIG difference in simple nudity and full out hentai. That is a whole different topic here.

A friend of mine has the Sailor Moon RPG on the SNES and it's in Japanese and yet she beat the whole thing without knowing what a word of it meant. ^_^ I've always wanted to play the Ranma 1/2 rpg. I think it would be pretty interesting. I know there was a fighting game out of the SNES, but of course, I never got a chance to see it. So yeah...

Alright peoples! I just got back from Disney World last night and I'd like to recap each day of my trip. Yay! Saturday: We arrived at Animal Kingdom...and got straight on the shuttle to Epcot. Me and Anna hated Animal Kingdom last year so we totally skipped out on it on purpose. We spent all day at Epcot going around the countries. (We boycotted Germany and France for various reasons.) Our favorite country this year was China because Japan's store was totally boring and had nothing but DBZ and Hello Kitty crap all in it. Me and Anna and these two guys in our group spent MONEY in China on some cool clothes. Me and Anna got these little Chinese dresses. TOO CUTE! ^_^ Mine's red and hers is blue. We took lots of pictures. Then we went to MGM to ride the Tower of Terror and Rock n Roller Coaster one time before we had to go. I took pictures with: *Sleeping Beauty *Aladdin *The Masked Queen in Italy *Snow White Sunday: Anna didn't go because she had the most HUGE and NASTY blisters on the bottom of her feet. So she stayed in the hotel room all day. So I hung out with some of my other friends. We went to MGM and we rode rides ALL day. We went back to Epcot for some shaved ice. And we played Dance Dance Revolution alot. And we ate breakfast at the House of Blues. It was fun. That night at the Hotel Room we went swimming and had pizza. Pictures: *Pocahontas *Cinderella *Mike and Sully from Monsters Inc *Belle *Jasmine *Megara Monday: And we started off by eating breakfast at Fort Wilderness. Then we marched in the Magic Music Days parade and it was SO FREAKING HOT. Then me and my friend MaryAnderson pushed Anna around in a wheelchair ALL day. It was cool though because we hardly ever had to wait in line. ^_^ We went to Magic Kingdom but we only stayed for a little while because it was so boring. And hot. I had on jeans (my stupid mistake) so I kept them rolled up all day. Then we went back to MGM and rode rides all day and I played DDR some more. We had pizza again for dinner. ANNA hogged all of the blanket! I don't remember if I took any pictures...I think I was pictured out. I wanted the Little Mermaid so I could take pictures with ALL SIX Disney princesses, but I was not about to wait in line for an hour at Magic Kingdom. Tuesday: We went to Universal Islands of Adventure. We ate breakfast at the Hard Rock Cafe. It wasn't as great as last year, but it was still nice. Then me and Anna ran and rode the Hulk Rollercoaster without having to wait in line. Then we rode the Spiderman and the Dueling Dragons and then we went to the arcade and played DDR for about two hours. We spent lots of money on that. (Her feet *Obviously* were feeling better). Then we rode the Jurassic Park River Adventure with her mother and Dueling Dragons one last time and we left. I was so ready to be on the way home. Pictures: *Betty Boop *Green Goblin We got in about midnight last night and went straight to bed. Now we are all super sore and can barely walk. But it was so awesome. Yay! And the whole time I was in Orlando, I kept thinking, Transtic lives here! ^_^; The End.

Well, I think it's 50 cents for three songs. I haven't played in a very long time so I'm not exactly sure. But I think I've played in places where you would get 5 songs...

*Laughs* You didn't offend me Kevin, I was just making a good point. ^_^ Anywho, here in the South, we have plenty of families like the Bundies. Mine is not one of them. The culture may be slightly different, but trust me, the same stereotype can be found anywhere. Of course, when I think of dysfunctional families, I always think of the man getting drunk and beating his wife. I have witnessed it, and it's not pretty at all.

When I went to Disney World, I saw tons of people dressed up and I took pictures with everyone of them. There was Alice, the Army Men from Toy Story, Belle and the Beast, Popeye and Olive, and there was more, but I can't think of them all. My favorite was probably the Army Men, though. ^_^ I'm leaving tonight! ^_________^
Originally posted by Transtic Nerve Disney has evil plans, and by the end o fthe century, everyone will be driving in little tea cups and singing little happy songs and ugh, it'll be horrible.
Well then, I guess it's too late for me. Aside from driving around in a little teacup, I sing happy little songs all the time. ^_^; Well, you live in Florida. Maybe the Wal-Marts in Georgia are just better.

I really like your banner. I noticed it the other day and I wanted to compliment it. I am a big Eva fan and the pictures you used of Asuka and Rei are simply beautiful. ^_^

In Disney it was like any other arcade I've ever been at: 50 cents per play. Of course, the more money you put in, the longer you play. ^_^

I don't know, there's usually a variety of things that work for me. Like Neo said, the materia system was definately preferable compared to the systems that were incorporated for 8 and 10. I just hated it. I like attractive characters and a love story. Those are the best elements to an RPG in my opinion. ^_^

Well, I'm glad to hear that Sophitia is back, because when I played SC2 at the arcade, I was pretty pissed when I couldn't play as her. And it's also nice to hear that she's a good fighter. There's just something so appealing to me about those blonde fighter chics...*laughs*
Originally posted by Rick Hunter Great show, which illustrates the typical everyday family disfunctions that go on in the United States.
I'm sorry, but things like that don't just happen in the United States. There are dysfunctional families all over the world. It just so happened that that one particular family lived in the US. And the typical dysfunctional family does not always have to be that way. I don't think there really IS a typical dysfunctional family. Each family is different. That's just my opinion, though.
