But I think everyone that's posted in this thread already knows that Han and Leia had kids, and that Luke trains him at his academy and all that good stuff. I know that BabyGirl likes Han Solo. I don't think she didn't keep up with her story at all because I'm pretty sure she had an outline and went over it many, many times to make sure everything was coherent and went together like it was supposed to. Maybe that was just one part of the storyline she felt she didn't focus on enough and just wanted to make it better. Maybe it really doesn't contradict. Maybe in the TV series Chichiri didn't tell the ENTIRE truth because even though it was something he didn't want to talk about, but had it brought up when he was with Miaka, he might have "softened" the story somewhat. Do you see what I'm saying? I'll have to watch both of the episodes and compare one day so that I can actually have a valid opinion, seeing as how I haven't seen the third volume yet.[/color][/size]

[color=crimson][size=1]Sometimes I wonder why pot is illegal. Because if they made it legal, then it wouldn't be as expensive (I swear, I don't do it, but I'm trying to make a point). And pot harms your body, but it's not as bad as other stuff. It's not even as bad as smoking cigarettes, health wise. I think it's actually legal in like Oregon or something, and you can grow your own. I think that it should be regulated, like Lady M said. I wouldn't do it myself, but I know that it would have a significant change. And if was easily available, then kids wouldn't be trying to get it as much because it would take away the challenge and the whole rebelliousness of it.[/color][/size]

Not to mention the animation is crappy and you can predict anything that's going to happen. But that's beside the point and completely off topic as well. You shouldn't just DOG girly-girls and then say you don't like people who stereotype because then you YOURSELF are stereotyping all supposedly "girly-girls". [color=crimson][size=1]I have the first volume subtitled, my only subbed volume of Fushigi Yugi, and I loved it, but I still like the dubbing, too. The only voice in the dubbing that bothered me was Miaka's, but even hers wasn't that bad, so it was interesting, you know? I love it when they can make a good dub. Yeah, lots of stories contradict themselves, such as Star Wars and everything. Ever since Episode II came out, a lot of facts are now irrevelant, and there are some things that now contradict themselves. Maybe she DIDN'T consider what she had previously stated about Chichiri, or maybe, like you said, she wanted to alter it to make it better in her eyes. And hey, it's her series, so she can do it. Power to her, you know? But yeah...it's slightly annoying. But I'm definately going to have to get that third volume so I can complete my collection.[/color][/size]

And by the way, it's not like "they" messed up Yu Watase's original story when they made the OVAs because it's her series and I believe she wrote the OVAs, too. If you must prove me wrong, then you must show me hard facts. I think that maybe they weren't supposed to contradict, but maybe the dubbing was just crappy on that part in the translation.[/color][/size]

Friends should NEVER cross that line. I almost wish that was a sub-story to Fushigi Yugi so I could see exactly how that happened. How the girl or the guy seduced one or the other behind Chichiri's back. That is the most evil thing you could do. Sometimes I wouldn't say it and sometimes I would. It just depended on my mood. I don't know if they make you say it, but they do at least want you to stand up and show some sort of respect, if you know what I mean.[/color][/size]

[color=crimson][size=1]At my school they do locker searches and they also do parking lot searches where they take the drug dogs to sniff things out. You wouldn't believe how many people get expelled for having illegal drugs on campus. And I'm glad that they are so big on cracking down on drugs, even though I still don't think it's enough. Drug testing in the perfect thing they can do. Now, Aries, if a girl was on her period and she had her stuff in her locker, she's not very bright now, is she? I think she should have that sort of thing in her purse, so it's there at all times. And that REMINDS me, why in the world does it bother people to see a tampon or a pad in a girls purse or something??? You know what it's for and everything so it's not like it's going to jump out and BITE YOU! I hate girls who wont let you look in their purses because they have a pad in there. A woman wrote in who was very pissed about some company making Barbie videogames to try and satisfy females needs for videogames. I agree with everything this woman said. She said that she plays the most goriest videogames with the rest of them. Hey, at my house, we own Resident Evil 2 and 3, have beat them both, and we have Dino Crisis. I still agree that they need to be doing it. If you aren't supposed to be doing them, then you shouldn't be. It's against school rules and lots of the drugs are even illegal that are being used at school. So why NOT have drug testing? I have RANTED and RAVED on this in a thread in General Anime. That is probably one of my biggest pet peeves. I met this girl who likes anime just as much as me my Sophomore year. I had my handbook decorated with anime pictures and everything and I showed it to her and she was like "I love anime!" So yeah, then we hit it off. The other people I know just like it because I forced them to watch it![/color][/size]

And even though I'm part of an extra curricular after school activity, even though they may test me, I know I have nothing to worry about because I don't do all that stuff. I mean, do that on your own free time, at home or elsewhere. But keep it away from school, you know? I think that schools should have had that right a long time ago.[/color][/size]

I mean, some people make fun of you because you are pale and everything, so I do get my dose of sun at the beginning of the summer, but only enough so that I know I have some sun by having a slight tanline! I don't like getting sunburnt because I get one very easy. I love swimming, too, and that's usually when I get roasted. It's hard for me to remember to put on sunblock. And I don't really like that leathery appearance. It's very unattractive. But yeah, I agree with you there.[/color][/size]
