Reality TV is just a fad and it's passing very quickly. They are definately running out of ideas and I don't seriously think there are that many people watching "Survivor" anymore. Although I think MTV has been doing reality TV for years with The Real World and Road Rules, and then here comes along all the other crap. I personally like Who Wants to be a Millionaire, though, but I think it's more of a gameshow, like Jeopardy. And I love Jeopardy. :D

I LOVE the punk cover of "Baby Got Back" by Agent Felix. I love both versions of the song, but AF's version is so much more my style of music. But it's HILARIOUS because all the "sound effects" in the song they do themselves and it's just the funniest thing to me. So yeah, you definately have to hear that one. And I like remakes of old songs. Especially the two 80's songs that Manson did, "Tainted Love" and "Sweet Dreams" I believe it's called. Both of those are pretty good.

I'm definately going to see that movie sometime because I love the Crocodile Hunter. That was one of my favorite shows back when I had cable and I still watch it whenever I can. I even gave out Croc Hunter Valentine's cards this year (Yes, I still give them out. It's fun! :)) I don't know the plot of the movie or anything and I don't understand how exactly they could MAKE a movie, but I bet it's going to be hilarious, nonetheless.

My views on having sex before you're married is that you should be mature enough to know what you are doing and to be able to handle the consequences if anything happens such as pregnancy or an STD or something. I myself am 17 and hey, I'm a virgin, and I hope to stay one until I get married. Then I believe, if I'm mature enough to be married, I'm mature enough for sex and motherhood. And all that good stuff....ANYWHO... Oh my gosh, I think it is the stupidest thing to lie on the Purity Test to get a lower score so you'll be cool. What a freakin LOSER. I don't know who you think is going to look up to you for that.... Man, I hate people like that.

Well I've seen all three of those and BGC and GW can't even stand up to Eva, not one bit. Eva is one of the best anime series ever created. Gundam Wing only got the popularity it has because it was aired on CN. BGC is good, but it's still nothing compared to Eva. Just my opinion, though.

I'm with you Piro Hon, I like their songs that the guy from Blur sing most of the time. He's so awesome. Ah, I remember back in the day when Song 2 was new and I heard it for the first time... Their CD isn't that bad. Their videos are cool because they're completely animated, but that was a given because they are supposed to be an imaginary band! If everyone doesn't get the concept of that, I suggest you watch the documentary they showed on MTV. And by the way, did you know that the character Noodles is supposed to be a little Japanese schoolgirl?

I didn't see the episode last night where they picked the ones who would move on. Did the girl with dark hair and big socks make it? I really liked her. She was a good singer. And I liked the first girl, too. Some of those people suck so seriously...I can't believe they actually tried to sing. Reminds me of someone I know...but ANYWHO...

I got a 61.8% score. Oh well, I proud of that, actually. Some of those questions were just really stupid, so yeah. I'm somewhat pure. *laughs* Yeah Anna, if only you knew about me and Ryan... :rotflmao: J/k! You know I'm only playing!

EXACTLY. And that's why I think they people that have alot of stuff shouldn't be so freaking cocky. It's not appealing or attractive and it makes people dislike you. Knowledge is what will get you somewhere, not stupid material possessions.

Yeah, LOL, I like the one about the singing lessons/lawyer thing. Everyone that watches that show quotes that one. It comes on Fox, and it'll be on tonight, actually. It comes on Tuesday nights. You should watch it and FEEL Simon's wrath, LOL.

Remixs are dumb sometimes, but you know, let people do what they want if they think it's actually going to get them some more money for their already dumb song.

I only watched it because it's funny to see that Simon guy cutting them down so bad. But yeah, I recommend it if you want to see a bunch of Pop-wannabes get cut down to the floor so that they only feel 3 inches tall. It's hilarious.

That song is called "19-2002." I liked it when I first heard the CD way before it was released as their second single. And then I heard the radio version and I got pissed because it's a remix and it's a heck of a lot cooler than the one on their CD. It's more catchy and bouncy and you can dance to it if you REALLY wanted to. I don't know, I just really like the remixed version.

Has anyone watched this show since it started coming on? Basically, it's another reality TV show, but what it is, is all these people from around American auditioned to be singers and stuff. They had judges that told them if they were horrible or if they were good. They ended up with 30 finalists. Then they show them 10 at a time, and you can call at the end of the show and vote for your favorite. It's sort of interesting to watch, but the funniest part is the judge, Simon. He's a JERK. He is VERY rude and he will tell you what he thinks flat out. I'd never have the guts to get up in front of him.

My favorite character is 2-D as well, because he is the lead singer of Blur, of whom I am a big fan of. I just like the Gorillaz sound. They ARE unique, like you said. Their songs are very crazy, though. But they are fun. That's what I like about them.

I still don't particularly like "Adult anime." I mean, I do like mature themes, like those found in Evangelion on occasion, but I'm more of a romantic comedy person. And I still just don't like the animation in Adult themed anime. It's so UGLY and serious looking. Like it was truly aimed for adults to pick up and watch. So yeah, that's just my opinion...

Well, I never thought of it as in depth as you put it right there, though. But I mean, in my preference, I would have a hard time picking Hotohori over Tamahome. That's a very good thing, that Tamahome could always be there for her. That's one thing a girl needs, support. And because of his duties, Hotohori could only have supported her from afar, you know? And Tamahome is so much more cuter and people dont' mistake him for a woman. I'd be VERY embarrassed if people kept thinking my boyfriend was a girl, wouldn't you?

The only song I've heard is "Cadillac" and I consider that one of MY songs. I can get so PUMPED listening to that song. It's so awesome and catchy...so I can just imagine that their other stuff is good, I just haven't got to hear it. I want to listen to that song all the time, but every time I get it burnt onto a CD, someone messes it up so that that's like the only song that SKIPS! Grr...anywho. So yes, I enjoy Mest and the one song I know by them. :D

Not to sound rude or anything, but just because you have alot of mainstream DBZ and Gundam stuff, does not make you an otaku. You probably have no clue what the heck Inu Yasha or something like that is and the only manga you own is in fact DBZ and Gundam. Same with wallscrolls, T-shirts, action figures, etc. Now I own plenty of Gundam and DBZ stuff myself, but sheesh... Anyways, since I am a VERY poor person, I don't think I really own all that much. But here's what I can think of imagining my room off the top of my head: video wise, I have all of Fushigi Yugi, plus two of the OVAs, Alot of Nadesico, Vampire Princess Miyu, Tenchi Muyo in Love, *racks her brain and fails from mental exhaustion at practice...*, um...Ranma 1/2 videos, a DB tape (only cause I like little ChiChi, and I got it way before that show aired...), I have ALOT of stuff recorded, mostly to entertain my children when I ever have them like Pokemon and Gundam Wing. Then I have alot of taped movies off of the Action Channel and the Sci-Fi channel. I've seen ALOT of anime because I watch whatever I can get my hands on because I have friends who have videos I don't and we just swap. Like Evangelion...oh man, I love that series... Anywho...I have a wallscroll of Washu and Tsunami, a BIG Heero Yuy poster because he's so frickin sexy, and an anime collage on my walls which consists of pictures from shows like Gundam Wing, Ranma 1/2, Evangelion, Nadesico, El Hazard, and some other stuff I can't think of off the top of my head. I have action figures, but they are mostly from videogames, like Nina from Tekken, Leon from Resident Evil 2, Quistis from FF8 (it's a BIG doll and she was expensive..), Squall and Rinoa, Misty from Pokemon and LOTS of little Pokemon dollies and stuffed animals because those things are seriously cute as buttons. My PRIZE of my collection...my plushie of Kuro-Neko, the Cat from TRIGUN! I love that thingie so much! I also have the Trigun soundtrack and a little keychain of Millie. I have some other keychains and stuff, like my Sailor Moons and my Washu... And speaking of Sailor Moon, I have almost all of the original episodes of that on tape, plus numerous keychains, dolls, curtains, blankets, pillow cases...etc etc... Yes, I was a Sailor Moonie...:D Anywho, so yeah...and I've READ so many things on anime and borrowed manga from everyone. And videos. And stuff...Okay, I'm shutting up now...Because, I definately do not like to brag about what I have, because I know it's not much. I know I would cry without it though...:nervous: I think it's more on what you know than what you have. That's just my opinion. OH YEAH, and I am a Queen afterall. I have to know these things. :rotflmao:

I've seen my share of Adult Anime, but I do not like to watch the ones with aliens who have free-roaming tentacles, if you catch my drift. That's just sick, if you ask me. But yeah, I've seen stuff like Akira, and Perfect Blue. I've seen stuff on the Action Channel, which is more geared for adults than anything else. Of course, Adult anime doesn't seem to have the most beautiful animation, though, because it's supposed to be serious looking. That's one reason why I don't prefer it.

WHOO, thank you for posting that spoiler there...I totally did not read it...I really want to see the end of that series for myself. But it stinks that someone actually thought that it was disappointing. And for anyone else posting here, PLEASE follow with what everyone else has done and say if you're posting a spoiler because I would hate to have some series ruined for me, and I'm sure others would get pretty pissed, too.

I liked the ending of Evangelion. It was perfect for the perfectly confusing series. Why don't you read the other Eva threads? They're sort of interesting, if you ask me. But I liked the ending. But that's just my opinion. I can't really think of an ending that I didn't like, except for Gundam Wing. Even with Endless Waltz I thought the storyline wasn't very well wrapped up there at the end. Relena and Heero were supposed to get TOGETHER!!!!!! That's my ONLY complaint, though...and I'd have to think of others later...

What else did Stackpole write? Because I think I've read something of his I'm sure. And yes, this thread is very repetitive. It's the same conversations over and over, but I don't really think that anyone really minds. The only people who read it are the SW fans anyway. And by the way, did you know that when George Lucas was writing the first 2 SW movies (Hope and Empire) that he had some guy helping him write most of the script and then that guy left before Jedi because they both had different visions for the movie? This other guy wanted to kill Han Solo off at the end...

Eva is my favorite anime series, but I didn't even know half of the stuff that Sephiroth explained up there. I'm very confused myself sometimes. All I know is that I like the series a WHOLE lot. And it's very emotional and very deep and the storyline is so complicated. That's what makes it so awesome. But you can join our discussion in the thread called "The Beauty of Evangelion" if you like. It's sort of confusing and stupid, but there you go. It's a fun discussion.

I think the reason they are flying around the room is because they didn't expect him to say something like that, yet they knew that he was capable of such a saying. It's almost like the anime sweatdrop thing. They tend to do stuff like fall over when something like that happens. But I can't put my finger on the name of the emotion at this very second. Now, back to the discussion (man, I've been gone for over a week, and I need to get back into business here...) I wonder what would have happened if it had been Hotohori that Miaka had met first. I mean, she did have feelings for him and she could have feel for him instead. Tamahome was just her first rescuer. It's an interesting thought. And I don't really understand why I don't like Hotohori. I do think he's a VERY nice looking guy. And he's a sweetheart to everyone. And he's rich and royal....I just don't understand. I think I just disliked him to spite the people that do like him, becaue they don't tend to like Tamahome and he is my sweetie...
