1. I like that Gin's bankai is similar to his shikai, while I was trying to guess what it was going to be before I saw the chapter spoilers, I dismissed the fact that his bankai is his shikai but bigger theory and decided that his bankai was going to be unrelated, like soifon's, to his shikai. Although thinking about it, being able to cut anyone within 8ish (not sure if i mental mathed that right) miles of you is kinda bad ***. He could take out entire armies before they even got close enough to sense his presence, or wreck a whole town. Since it seems to be pretty fast too it seems like he could go to town sniping people off from a distance and launching surprise attacks on anyone around. Anyway, I like that Ichigo wounded him in the end of the chapter. While I do like Gin I never really imagined him to be to far above the other Captains. Yes he is a genius, but so are most of the other captains right and Ichigo has beaten his fair share of captains so it makes sense... Also, I now have an unrelated question, Tosen seem like he could beat Mr. 6th espada pretty easily, but Grimmy gave Ichigo trouble while he was using his mask, but Kenpachi who Ichigo bearly beat without his mask kinda casually decided that he was going to use kendo, which he doesn't use cause he doesn't like it, to one shot the 5th. Kenpachi also previously beat Tosen, without kendo. So, how strong is an unmasked Tosen? There needs to be a list released of how strong each person is, or someone needs to make one... but that'll never happen.
2. “An angel” Oliver looked concerned as he played with the sub standard food on his plate, a high school’s lunch room special. Jenny sat across from, away from the rest of the cheerleaders who usually left the school grounds for lunch. “She hot?” He asked louder that he should have. Sounding like a regular guy was important, especially when your fake friends were eye balling you from a few tables down. “Yeah, the bitch took a few of us out before we got her, I got stuck cleaning up the bodies and blood before the weight training class had to take showers… I think I got most of it.” Jenny had taken the clue to lower her voice, though she did look a little hurt. “Where are they keeping her?” the tower of peas and corn where crushed by the plastic spoon, only to be rebuilt again. “You assume that they are keeping her alive?” Jenny said. Oliver shot an urgent glance at the door to the outside. He had almost considered rushing to find his ally to be. “Killing her won’t do much good, it would only escalate the situation. Holding her hosta-” “Stop that!” Jenny had her concerned face on. “The other girls have been saying stuff about you being a traitor, we know that you’re smarter than most of us, and you haven’t exactly warmed up to most of the other ones. Plus Martie is out to get you big time and unless what you say is an obviously good decision for the rest of the group, they won’t listen to you… any way… why would it matter if they killed her?” “I’m sorry, if I gave the impression that I was interested in her well being and even more so if I lead you to believe that I would choice her over you, I was just trying to think long term. The more people that die in and around the town, the more the police will get involved, and while they are not a threat to you and your friends, I am far too weak to battle an army of armed officers.” “So all you are interested in is self preservation? That would explain why you hooked up with me so fast.” Jenny was still hurt by his comment. I guess being normal, has its disadvantages too Clearly the others opinion of me isn’t a good one… poisoning the mind of my connection to the “in crowd” . Would they even have told me about the angel? It is most likely they plan on killing her and using her body as a message to the other hunters. Plus, there is going to be some sort of rumble going on tonight between the two… hopefully it was nothing, but maybe both parties are looking to end this tonight. If that is their aim, then I will have to work faster. The master minds behind these demons are hidden better than I thought, not even all of these girls know where they are. Locating them, and gathering as much information about “that group” as possible and I’ll need to kill them to cover my tracks. Yami is bound to have more assassins around “What are you thinkin about?” Jenny was staring intensely at Oliver. “A plan to deal with these hunters.” Oliver looked back down at his tray of half eaten food “What do I need to do to make this group trust me, to make you trust me?” “I-I do trust you, it’s the other that don’t and it doesn’t matter if they trust you or not because I lo-“ Riiiiiiiiiiinnnnnnnnnng “Lunch is over, you guys make sure to pick up all your trash, I’m tired of having to pick up after you guys!” yelled one of the teachers that was eating lunch at the staff table. “I will see you later yeah?” Oliver got up, moved his popsicle wrapper onto his tray and smiled at Jenny. “I don’t know, unlike the others I actually like school so I won’t be cutting any classes to guard the bitch angel until we decide what to do with her, but after school I have to guard the… place where she is hidden. “ Jenny’s face told Oliver that she had already said much more that she was suppose too. “It’s fine” grabbing her tray for her with his free hand, still smiling “If you aren’t suppose to tell me, then don’t tell me. I feel like I already betrayed your trust, I won’t bring up the thing again.” He had to watch what words he chose now that people were all moving around the cafeteria heading for the exits. “Maybe after you’re done you can, come over to my place and we can do stuff.” “Oh yeah, that’s a great idea, it’s not like we sleep right” Jenny was smiling at the idea of getting to go over to his apartment, in the middle of the night to “do stuff”. She got up and headed for the exit closest to her next class. “Cool, I’ll see you then” Oliver called after her. If I stake out on the roof of the building next to mine, I’ll be able to see which way she approaches my apartment, that’ll give me a rough idea of where this angel is hidden. Hopefully they decide to keep her alive longer than I expect them too and hopefully this rumble they have planed isn’t the end all. I still need to use these demons and they people organizing them. History after lunch, not a good sign if he had planned on taking any notes, listening to a boring professor lecture about boring things after he had just eaten tended to put Oliver to sleep. History was always his worst subject in this human world. Most kinds have a basic understanding of these events from the time they are very little, but Eilif, having been trust into the middle of the higher learn of history the college provided, found the whole thing to be rather difficult, especially since he had 750 years of demon history to remember too. I guess it can’t be helped, a good nap sounds too wonderful to pass up, besides, I haven’t had any of these hunters in any of my classes so far, none of them must have been put in the Advanced Placement classes after all It was necessary for Oliver to take these hard classes because the rest of the cheerleaders had all the other classes, except the AP ones covered. Oliver walked to class, getting ready to enjoy his nap.
3. Every human soul has potential to achieve main character status (and rapid power gain that comes with it), but not all of them do. and/or... You can't really compare Ichigo's power gain to the others because he is the only human/shinigami hybrid we've seen. Maybe any shinigami could go knock up any human and the result would be just as powerful as Ichigo. Ichigo is in an entirely different species than Ishida and all the other lamer humans... apples and oranges bro. Also we can't count the hollow power boosts cause that was a situational thing, and a side effect of him awakening his shinigami powers. Furthermore, you have a lot to say about this manga... I didn't even finish your post :animeswea
4.
If I recall correctly, also, those in Soul Society who develop hunger are prime candidates to become Shinigami. (I've looked through the Bleach chapters, but I can't seem to figure out where the Rukia-Renji flashback is for supplementary evidence. If anyone else can find it, I would be eternally grateful >.
5.
*Also side note* I think the two bodies in Szayel's lab are Kisuke and Yuruichi. It would explain how he knew so much about everyone besides the constant observation and why those two aren't helping in the fight in FKT. It seemed when I was reading that Mayuri immediately noticed the two bodies with the look on his face and the sarcasm in his voice. Why they were there... think Kisuke wanted to know how to make the garganta appear on both sides because if he didn't figure it out then all those who went there would be stuck. I think he told Mayuri and Unohana how to open it but then got "captured" by Szayel's traps to dispel suspision. Because almost immediately after killing Szayel, Mayuri went straight to those doors buried underneath the debris.
I think that's wrong, Yuruichi is hella fast and both of them are smart enough to keep their guard up while walking in enemy territory (unlike Renji). I can't see Kisuke getting trapped by something designed by someone who was out smarted by Mayuri. Secondly, Yamma had him open the portals to HM for the captains, which means that he would have had to leave right after they did, and by that time Szayel's palace was wrecked by Renji and his clone's bankai. I guess you could say that he arrived their before the 12th captain, while the palace was still up, on account of Mayuri having to preform his surgery. But I feel like he would have come to Ishida and Renji's rescue, seeing as Szayel was dominating them the entire fight and he has close relationships with both of them, and not fallen into a trap... Ishida did manage to get around the traps and save Renji after all (and I don't see Ishida out classing Kisuke and Yurichi in any way shape or form).
6. ?I hope I?m not expected to attend this new kid pummeling? Oliver ambushed the cheerleaders as then turned the corner. He eyed Martie trying his best to determine what she was thinking. Martie?s face changed from one of disgust and irritation to happiness and she grabbed Oliver?s hand and pulled him closer to her ?Oh sweetie, you?re lucky that you are important to whatever plan the higher ups are trying to get going or I?d have killed you weeks ago.? ?Oh honey? Oliver pulled himself away from Martie?s embrace ?If we are caught talking to one another I won?t be able to do my job.? Oliver was getting annoyed with this whole game she was playing. So what if he had betrayed her initial feelings for him and slept with one of the other demoness on the day he arrived. He felt it was best to get some sort of ally within this group of lesser demons, and the best way to do that is to have some sort of emotional connection. Martie was the de facto leader and it was hard for Oliver to gauge her loyalty to the cause that they represent, whatever that was. Jenny, on the other hand, was not as cruel as the rest and always had slight moments hesitation before each kill, which lead Oliver to suspect that she had the least resolve and thus would be the easiest one to turn to his side. Of course these observations were based on only one days worth of interaction, so maybe he was wrong. No reason to doubt myself now I suppose Oliver walked away from the group of girls and made his way to his locker I hope I don?t end up sharing any classes with these people, that way I don?t have to betray any off my future teammates, or pretend betray them. I?d be ideal if I just slipped in the fray towards the end, prove my worth, and join the team? after I have drained these criminals of as much information as I can. ?Dude, you?re gonna be late if you don?t stop staring into your locker!? Markus, one of the people Oliver tricked into befriending him, was calling from the class room down the hall. False friends would make for good cover, the Dark Hunters would be on the guard and if they found out that another student transferred from out of state they would suspect him. And is they distrust him from the beginning, it?ll be harder to convince them to accept him into their group. Blending in was key. ?No one likes English anyway? Oliver said as he hurried to meet his friend.
7. I'm going to be unhappy if Ichigo ends up being half something predictable... It'd be nice if his other half was whatever was in Szayel's lab... and what was in Szayel's lab needs to be something unexpected... like people that don't get their ***** handed to them by lamers... Also does Mayuri know what Ichigo is? He did call him a half shinigami before he left HM, and if Ichigo is half Szayel's specimens then it would explain how Mayuri knew this information that every other character seemed to miss. If Ichigo is half something related to SS, then it seems unlikely that Yamma wouldn't know about it, i mean he has been around for 1000 years, is trusted with the location of the kings key, and could probably deep fry half of the royal guard anyways. [tangent] Didn't it say some where that Yamma-jii started the shinigami school? And if he did, how is he not the first Captain Commander? Cause to me it seemed like he started a school for them and then Shunsui and Ukitake were awesome and became captains right after they were done with their schooling. I always thought that Yamma, Unohana, Shunsui and Ukitake have been Captains as long as there have been Captains, but I guess they haven't [/tangent] I liked the chapter, but I am a fan of Aizen and the words he uses, and not so much the random fighting chapters... So pretty much then ends of the arcs where Aizen is plotting is my favorite chapters. I've given up on Gin doing stuff, he seems to enjoy watching Aizen mind crush everyone.
8. Oliver entered his apartment yawning and stretching, holding his pack of socks above his head. He was still getting use to this sleep thing, that humans had to do. Each night a substantial portion was wasted with their eyes closed in something close to a comma . But his evening had not been a waste, his trip to the store gave him a sneak peak at the competition, sort of. He had felt the presence of powerful supernatural beings, but decided against finding out exactly who it was. " It was either one of my "allies" or it was a member of the hunters. If it was a weaker demon, avoiding them spared me a boring conversation, and if it was a hunter I would have had to make up some reason to introduce myself... if they are as talented as I've heard, spying on them from a far without the aid would have been picked up on, and then I'd have been in a real mess. The only thing I would have learned anyway was what their human forms looked like, and hey, this way I get to be surprised when we meet for the first time. His phone vibrated. He flipped it open, answering a call from an old college buddy. "Yes" " I didn't have any reason to stay, some crazy bastard cut me open and ran off without a trace..." "Lack of police support was the reason the guy wasn't caught in the first place" "No, I don't remember if it was a guy or not, I was just generalizing... Yeah a chick with a sword would be kinda hot. Way way way out of your league though, maybe I could manage it..." "So the party is pretty good huh, well I don't know what you want me to tell you, I left to make some money and to stay under the radar for a little while." "Oh, will you tell Alison that I didn't mean what I said the last time I talked to her, and that she isn't the reason I dropped out." "Why not?" "Dude, come on. It wasn't poisonous or anything, and I can't take all the credit for putting it in your closet, snakes aren't my thing." "Whatever, be angry, I just thought I'd have you tell her so you had a reason to talk to her, I mean your face is kinda messed up, and it'd do you well to lose a few pou..." "When'd you get a girl?" The phone vibrated again, the screen flashed an unfamiliar number. If they continue to change numbers, I'll continue to ignore them. The cheerleaders can be trusted with their private line, but I am forced to wait until they want to talk with me before I can attempt to get some information out of them. "...yeah, I'm still here." "Then go have fun, nothing beats beer bongs, see you latter." Oliver hung up the phone, maintaining contact with his old friends was annoying but necessary, if he completely cut off all contact from his family and friends his parents would worry. As much as he wanted to drop the college kid retinue he was stuck with it for at least a little while. It wasn't real work though, his friends bothered him on a fairly nonstop basis, trying to figure out "why" he left college, because apparently his fake reasons where not good enough. Some of them, like the guy he just hung up with, tried to get him to return every time he got a chance. Oliver dropped down to the bed and pulled up the blanket. He reached over and set his alarm for 6:45. To make the 8 o'clock bell he had to give himself enough time to make the 5 minute drive, and since he hit snooze for almost an hour each morning he had problems getting anywhere in the morning on time. This should be nice, meeting new people... to bad I will have to lie to them, at least for a little. Hopefully they will be fun to be around. Though I doubt any conversation of real importance will come up, the won't reveal themselves as the hunters until the absolutely have to, and they won't be able to sense me, because I'm technically human. Oliver closed his eyes and tried hard to think about pleasant things that returning to high school would bring, though go round, it should be much more fun.
9. Sorry I have not posted in a while, college ate all my free time. I'll try to do something later today.
10. I feel like what should happen, is Sasuke get pwned and killed by Kakashi. It seems to be the only solution here. You can't just capture him and forcefully take him to the village cause Madara can teleport to the leaf village, maybe bypassing the shield thing, and then walk through all the walls until he finds where Sasuke is and then teleport him back to where ever. I'm pretty tired of Naruto saving people from their "darkness" and feel like Sasuke is beyond redemption anyway. I don't want Sasuke to kill Kakashi because then we have a repeat of the third vs Orochimaru and Jiraiya vs Pain. So in my prefect world, Sasuke can't be saved and Kakashi can't die. That means that Madara needs to come talk some sense into his pawn, or Kakashi needs to just kill Sasuke and due to whole ninja world a favor. Naruto would be pissed, but he'll get over it or hate Kakashi for the rest of his life, either way I'm sure that after they kill Madara the series can end, since I can't stop reading it for some reason.
11. Name: Matsuo Hatsuharu Gender: Male Rank: 7 Appearance: Hatsuharu has about 6'' long, light brown hair which is usually messy, appearing like he has just rolled out of bed. He has brown eyes and very lightly tanned skin. He wears his shinigami uniform and he has a white jacket that he picked up in the human world on one of his trips that he became attatched too. The jacket is about four sizes to big so he wears it tied around his waist. He keeps his Zanpakuto sheathed on his left hip, tied to his belt. He also has a pair of large sunglasses that he picked up from the human world that he keeps in his hair, unless he is looking at something bright. The lenses are so big that when he coves his eyes with them it covers most of his face. Personality: Hatsuharu speaks in a very unique fashion, using odd phrases, sounds, and body language to communicate his feelings. He enjoys getting the latest gossip from any source that he can. He often psycho analyzes people and their actions ( though he doesn't always get the correct conclusion) and uses his "information" to try to manipulate people into doing things for him. He is also a compulsive liar and does so even when the truth is obvious. It is hard to make him give up information that pertains to him or secrets that he is keeping to himself and will often deflect with questions or lies. In the quest to avoid all work he will go to almost any length, from hiding in a closet, to using his powers to hide for a few days.He is very opinionated and usually speaks his mind to who ever he feels like needs to here it. Despite all of his flaws, he is a very loyal member to the squad and is always there for the big important things. He always gives it his all in conflicts. He isn't one to let emotions interfere with the heat of battle, and is always ready to make hard decisions for the greater good. He has no struggle with his inner hollow, even claiming to have regular conversions with him. It has even been said that he allows his hollow to control the body from time to time, though the two are so similar that its hard to tell whether this is true or not . Zanpakuto Name: Reijipurinsu Appearance: His Zanpakuto is a long and slim nodachi. The hilt is dark gold and the gaurd is light brown. Shikai Call Out: Play Shikai Appearance: His Zanpakuto keeps the same shape and colors. Shikai Power: Steal Momentum: Reijipurinsuâ??s initial ability allows it to slow the movement of anything within range and store the stolen â??speedâ? within its glowing blade, the more speed stored, the brighter the glow becomes. This ability is usually used to slow enemyâ??s attacks so they are dodgeable/parryable. It can also slow enemies hindering their escape or projectiles to lessen the amount of damage they cause. Reijipurinsuâ??s power does have limits and can only slow things down by a set amount, so if an attack has great force behind it, even after being slowed may still prove to be fatal if it lands. Hatsuharu needs to know exactly what action he wants to slow down in order to Steal Momentum, so enemies that move fast can act before he can slow them down (which also keeps him from storing any energy for his other abilities). On the other hand, enemies that donâ??t move fast enough donâ??t have much momentum to steal which makes his other abilities weak. Zooming Corridor: Uses some of the stored speed to create a path of golden light that lasts for a few moments in front of Hatsuharu. While traveling on the path the wielder of Reijipurinsu is accelerated to much faster speed and attacks launched travel at greater speeds, thus have greater force behind them. The length, duration, and speed boost are all affected by how much stored speed was used. Concussive Pulse: Unleashes stolen speed as a golden colored shockwave. The force and size of the attack are determined by the amount of speed that was used. Often used while on the Zooming Corridor to make the shockwave travel faster. Bankai: While Hatsuharu gets along great with his hollow the same cannot be said about his Zanpakuto. He has started his bankai training many times and and given up each time, saying that his Zanpakuto's doesnâ??t care for him very much. Bankai Power: N/A Hollow Mask Appearance: Hatsuharu's mask is a cream color and smooth. Where it covers his ears are large droopy "ears" that hang down and rest on his shoulders. There is a small horn that extends from his forehead. The whites of his eyes turn black and his pupils turn yellow. Level of Control: About 20 minutes of intense use. While in combat against someone of similar or greater strength it is necessary for him to remove it when its not necessary so he can have it available when he needs it. He generally only uses it to power up his sword attacks, endure an attack that he otherwise wouldn't be able to, or dodge a fast attack, then he removes it. Specialty: Hatsuharu has master the art of Garganta. This ability allows him to rip open dimensions and travel between worlds. This ability is kept secret from people outside of the 14th squad and certain members of the 12th squad, due to Central 46's ban on all interdimensional transportation that they can not control. Extra Information Short Biography: Hatsuharu was born into a wealthy family of merchants in the Rukongai. He inherited the business, but was not as successful as his father and ran it into the ground. He decided that he wanted a new life, so he left what was left of the business to his mother and went to the Court of Pure Souls to become a Soul Reaper. He was bad at most of his classes and graduated somewhere near the bottom. Due to his bad performance in his education he was placed as a low member of the 4th squad. He learned healing kido while he was here, and turned out to be a very talented medic. He moved up to the 10th chair, based solely on his healing abilities. He eventually achieved his Shikai release, and was moved up to 5th seat in the 4th squad. Though he wanted power, he was not willing to train for it. During the early experimentation with the creation of the Vizard squad, he was charged with leading the medical team that watched over the operations. While he was busy healing a patient that had failed to control his inner hollow, the failed vizard test subject woke up from the medically induced sleep and attacked the group of healers, all were killed except for the mortally wounded Hatsuharu. He needed immediate attention, and since all the 4th squad healers were dead he was saved by undergoing a Vizard transformation, where the 12 squad hopped that his wounds were not to sever for his hollow's high speed regeneration. The operation was successful. Now that he was a Vizard however, he had to join the 14th squad, where he managed to obtain 7th seat, without much effort. Character Snippet: Will finish tomorrow.
12. Oliver sat on his bed giving a piercing glare to his suitcase. He had forgot to bring socks along for his "business trip" (on account of being ambushed every few seconds by a random family member asking about why he had to leave and other questions to which he pretended not to know the answer.) and didn't have room to pack any sandals. He didn't really need socks, but the fact that he would be spending all day walking to halls of a high school with no socks meant bad smelling feet and/or blisters on his heels. Both afflictions weren't life threatening, but he didn't like the idea of either of them. He had thought about wearing his slippers to school, but a quick skim through the student agenda he was given said that they were against dress code. I guess I will just have to go to the store and get some socks He got up and gave himself a once over in the bathroom mirror. He needed to shave and he was only wearing sleep pants printed with martinis and a gray tank top. The pants were a gag present from one of his college roommates after watching Oliver chug a whole pitcher on a dare, back when pretending to be a college student was the most important thing for Eilif. There isn't any sense dirtying another outfit, the laundry mat is already expensive enough without extra pairs of pants and shirts. He slipped on his leather jacket and his slippers grabbed his car keys and walked out the door, locking his small one bed room apartment behind him. Off to the store to buy some socks, before they close.
13. San Bernardo Public High School. Eilif never thought that he would be returning to high school. He had spent a two and a half years, right after his merger, failing classes and making enemies. Education was built up from a foundation, and he had skipped that step. Some things like math and science made common sense and he was able to do well. History and English were harder for him because he didn't know basic historical events and while he could speak English, studying the language was very frustrating, some words were spelled the same but sounded different, some words were spelled different but sounded the same, sentences were but together in odd ways and needed a lot of extra "fluff" to communicate basic things. San Bernardo Public High School. It had been decided that it would be best for him to enter the school and help kill the "Dark Hunters" when they walked into the trap. He would be registered as a senior and it was decided that he would befriend and destroy as many members as he could. It seems to be in my nature to double cross as many people I can... Though I will befriend them, I will not kill them. Nor will I even participate in the battle that will surely commence. I need these Dark Hunters and the information that they have at their disposal. I helped the enemy plan for the arrival of our friends, the people in charge of this feral band are dumb. They are easy to manipulate, even though I have never meet them. I thought for sure that I had sent those two to their death, but them were more resilient that I thought. I had hoped that they would study the corpses of the women and find the clues I had laced their suits with that would lead them here... to me. But the wretches couldn't even manage to get themselves killed . Oliver hoped that this group of "heroes" had put it all together and would be coming, after all how was he going to join their group if they never came. His phone vibrated in his pocket. Oliver pulled it out and recognized the number as his new employer. He set the phone to silent without answering it and returned it back to his pocket. It had been easy to get them to go along with his plan. He told them that no matter what their plans were, this group of hunters would ruin them unless they where killed as soon as possible. While explaining himself to them, he told them that the longer they wait the stronger the group will become, whether they are strengthening their skills or adding new members. Oliver had aided them in locating the hunters, even visiting their current address a few days ago. If only locating his true objective was as easy. His parents... or rather Oliver's parents were worried sick about him. After his battle with Azel, he fell unconscious in the middle of the campus and was found by students around 8 o'clock. He was taken to the hospital and his parents... Oliver's parents came in. He feigned amnesia, which stopped all the investigations and the questions from his friends and family... Oliver's friends and family. After his recovery he returned to school for a few weeks and then "found a good job" that required him to travel. They were upset that he had decided to drop out of college, but it was inevitable, if Eilif remained around his family... Oliver's family, then Yami could undoubted find him again and he would be putting the family in danger. He had to separate from his human part as soon as possible... and he knew exactly who could help him. He checked his phone for the time. Time for my first day of school.
14. OOC: I was really bored so I decided to post, given the distance between our characters nothing he does will affect the current group. I can delete it later if it ruins any plans. Oliver was watching an owl that was perched outside of his dorm room window. It was still early morning, and he had the uncomfortably small room all to himself, his roommate had decided to attend "the biggest party the campus has ever seen" and was probably pasted out from to much drink. Oliver had been asked by one of his classmate, Ashley, to attend but decided it would be better to blow her off. She was some what annoying and he really disliked the perfume she wore. He had spent most of the night in deep thought, sitting in the rolling chair he was in now, looking out the window. His phone vibrated on the desk in front of him, he glanced at the screen and flipped it open to read the text message that had just been received from and undoubtedly drunk Ashley. hey where u @? i really wanted 2 chill wit u 2nite. i comin to find u!!! we dont have 2 party if u dont want. id rather get u alone anyway :P He put the phone back on the desk, grabbed his key ring and left the room, locking it behind him. I'm going to have to find some where else to be, it's only natural the first place she'll look is my room, and I can't be sure if Brad gave her his key or not. He turned the corner and moved into the elevator, pushed the ground floor button and waited for the doors to close behind him. He had once let himself enjoy the normal college life, and the end result was almost a disaster. While under the influence of alcohol his judgment was horrible askew and at the time the only thing he wanted to do was satisfy his alcohol induced lust for one of the girls he had seen a few times in the library. He didn't know her name, and couldn't remember it from that night, so he called her Library Girl. He eventually got her to agree to let him have his way with her. The next morning, when his mind was mostly cleared, he remembered his action of the previous night and began to stress. What if this nameless girl is pregnant with my child and what would my child be. For weeks until she finally agreed to take a pregnancy test he stressed about what could possible be growing inside her. Eilif had reasoned that the child would be human, because that is what he is now, physically, but the thought of a half demon half human child caused him to panic. Luckily Library Girl was carrying no such monster within her, but Eilif vowed that he would no longer procreate with human, at least while he wasn't able to thinking clearly enough to us protection. Yes, avoiding her is the best option now. I'll take a long walk around campus and wait till sunrise to return to collect my books and things for class. He exited the dorm building, walking towards the baseball diamond on the other end of campus, a few laps around the field should kill enough time till he could return to his room. As he walked through the middle of the school grounds he saw a thick stone bench. The graduate bench, anyone who sits on it before their graduation day, will never graduate from this school. Or so the rumor says. He also passed a large fountain, which during the day was swarmed with people sitting around its rim talking or just enjoying the sun. When he reached the baseball diamond, he felt something he hadn't felt for three years. Oliver slowly turned the the dugout, his eyes connecting with another pair of bright green ones. The demon rose from the bench and moved out of the dugout, all the while holding his stare. "Azel, it has been quite a long time" Oliver had instantly recognized the six armed giant in front of him. Azel was one of Yami's soldiers, and while Eilif had worked for Yami, one of the more adapt killers under Eilif's command. Azel had extraordinary extrasensory abilities and could sense and living thing for miles away. His large and powerful muscles looked like they were going to burst out of this flesh, and his seven foot figure cast a horrible shadow in the fading moonlight. "So they've sent you to kill me?" Eilif shifted into his fighting stance. "Ha, you don't think you can betray the great demon lord Yami and get away with it did you? I must say though, that is a pretty good hiding spot you found, you don't feel like a demon. Anyway, it took me three long years to search this rock looking for you, and I've been meaning to carve you up for a long time...Boss" "Perhaps we can make a barging, I will spare your life, if you report to Yami that I died shortly after arriving" "Surly you jest! You spare my life, your powers are nothing to my swordsmanship, maybe before you were stronger than me, but not now, not in that frail human body of yours" Azel placed one of his six hands on one of his six swords handle and pulled it from the sheath "I only need one sword to do you in TRAITOR!" Azel charged Oliver preparing to strike down his human prey. It seems he is not as slow as I remember, though his large frame does nothing for his speed. Also, I recall his joints being very unique and he is able to rotate his limbs around in any direction he choices, meaning he can attack from any angle. Oliver quickly dodged the attack by jumping backwards a few yards out of his former underlings range. I must not get too focused on his movements with the one sword, he always has the option to draw more. I can't keep track of all his arms at once, getting close to him would be most unwise. Oliver dodged all of Azel's one sword attacks, and reacted to slashes from two of the swords just quick enough to dodge with only a scratch on his side. "STOP DANCING AROUND TRAITOR, AND LET ME TAKE OFF YOUR HEAD." Azel had always been quick tempered. "If you are not quiet the entire school will come, and your defeat will be witnessed by hundreds of humans." Eilif moved backwards, towards the fountain he passed on the way to the field. If all went well he would get to the fountain and use its water to overwhelm Azel. Commanding water was very taxing in this form and pulling enough moisture from the air to allow him to fight back would be a bad move, as he would have to use energy to pull the water and then direct it into attacks. If he makes it to the fountain, he only needs to attack. Azel was able to land another attack, drawing his third sword after Oliver had dodged the first two. Eilif's human arm was nearly cut off. The deep would sent Azel into a frenzy of slashes, each on getting closer to hitting their mark. "Where are those famous stingers of yours Boss? Can you not use them now that your stuck in the body of a little child?" Azel's latest attack missed Oliver buy cut down a street lamp, causing it to crash on the ground. "Why do you keep running away, at least draw a weapon!" My stingers are an option, though I fear that they will only be cut off once they get close enough to him for me to do real damage. A new beat of his heart sent a fresh spray of blood from his arm. I am not going to be able to dodge his multi-angle attack much more, and if I keep moving around, I will only lose more blood, I won't be able to reach the fountain! Eilif's thoughts were cut short, another attack came only inches away from his face. "DIE MAGGOT!" Azel had lost his patients "Let's double your fun" Azel unsheathed his other three blades, in each hand he now held a long heavy sword, with all six of his arms moving in every direction, this traitor had no hope of jumping out of the way this time, but that chance never came. Oliver had stopped moving only 50 feet away from him and clutched his arm. Perfect, the boy has lost to much blood to continue to move around. Azel's charge was stopped short only a few feet from his target. The ground underneath him erupted with a spray of muddy water. Dirt, rocks and mud went flying everywhere as if a geyser had just went off under his feet. Azel was blind and confused, rocks bite his flesh and mud splattered him in the eyes. Then he felt it, a searing pain shot up his leg and spread to his entire body. It felt as if he's insides were being cut to pieces by thousands of tiny knives. All of his muscles failed, his swords dropping to the ground and his throat felt as if it was swelling shut, he couldn't scream. Oliver retracted his tentacle, it seemed to just shrink back into his skin. Once he had abandoned his plan to reach the fountain, he used all the rest of his strength to locate pocket of ground water close to the surface and rip it upward as Azel charged him, in the commotion, he stung him with his tentacle, killing him. Azel's body dissolved into nothingness, not to Eilif's surprise. It's called Recall, on of Yami's secrets, if a battle isn't going well he can recall all the participants, even the dead ones, that were fighting on his side so that the enemy could not gain any info or supplies from his troops.. Eilif had shielded himself from its effects while he fought Yami's forces before, and now that he and Oliver had fused souls, the powers of Recall could no longer affect him. Oliver manipulated the water in his blood, and stopped the bleeding temporally, but halfway to his room he realized that he wasn't going to make it. He pulled himself up on to a bench and thought his last thoughts before slipping into unconsciousness. Yami found me, my occupation of this boy is no longer a safe. I need to separate from him, before I put him and his family in anymore danger. As he looked around as his setting before he blacked out and smiled, he was sitting on the cursed bench from earlier today. He would not be graduating this college, because he was planning on leaving his human partner behind forever. OOC: To much free time leads to entirely to long posts :animeshy:
15. Aizen's power (without this sword's ability) > a force that can raise the earth and bring down the sky... that doesn't seem fair, why even bother making the espada? Anyway, I feel like Mr. Foxface and Hitsugaya need to just back up, Aizen has already one shot them once before and and Aizen can slice up giant Bankai and animal/people with out breaking a sweat.
16. I never said where Oliver went to college and southern California is full of Spanish speaking people so it wouldn't be a huge leap of logic to say that is where he lives. Maybe he could be involved with the crazy demon cheerleaders, or with the person who issued the orders to kill the Dark Hunters. I kinda half brainstormed something like this... Eilif was approached by a bounty hunter sent by his old ruler, seeking vengeance. He barely wins the battle. He becomes involved with demon and angle possession of human bodies (like the cheerleaders now), trying to find a way to separate himself from Oliver. Or something like that, or maybe not at all... I don't want to post something and ruin the planned course of the RP so just lemme know when or where it'd be best to introduce my guy, I don't mind waiting till the most opportune time.
17. I see that the RP has already started and if it's to late to sign up that's fine, but I figured I'd give it a shot. I guess Oliver could make some trouble and be a target for the dark hunters, then decided to join them, or something like that.... I guess. Name: Eilif/Oliver Ramirez Age: 750/19 Race: Demon/Human Human Appearance: A little better looking than average college students, Oliver has dark brown hair, usually kept around four inches long, which is uncontrollable, always giving off the impression that he just rolled out of bed. His eyes are a soft brown, like wells of melted milk chocolate, as some of his female classmates have decided. Like most hispanics, or in his case half hispanics, he has naturally tanned skin and facial hair, though he dislikes mustaches and beards so he usually keeps himself clean shaven. He is average height and weighs about 145 pounds. He is thin compared to most people he meets, not carrying any extra weight as far as fat or muscle is concerned. Doesn't really care much what he's wearing, jeans and a tee shirt suit him just fine. Second Appearance: Oliver's truer self, the demon Eilif looks nothing like his human host. He is tall and well built, though lean instead of bulky, weighing in at about 180 pounds and measuring about 6' 2''. His skin is just barely transparent, allowing some of his bigger veins and arteries to be visible up close. Eilif has many thin tentacles that hang down from his arm and shoulders, which can move independently of his arms and on occasion he has shown the ability to stretch them while maintaining his ability to move them around. Also extending from his torso and mid thigh are pieces of extra flesh that wrap around his lower half like a skirt. This looks similar to a jellyfish's bell shape. Because of this "flesh skirt" he doesn't normally need to cover himself with pants, though often times he does enjoy dressing himself up in the nicest attire he can get his hands one, as fine made clothes and jewelry are some of his favorite things, he usually has at least a few rings on his fingers, or a bracelet on his wrist while he was in this form. Personality: Oliver was lonely and depressed until he merged with Eilif, and now Eilif has run of the ship. Eilif was and still is calm and calculating, and possible devoid of real emotion, though he can understand them and emulate them. While using Oliver's body he portrays a semi-social guy who is a jerk, some times in a comical way, some times in a malicious way, to most of them people who know him. Though Eilif only has a few years experience in the human world he struggles in school though his real intelligence is some times demonstrated when he argues or is making plans. He is always cautious and often over prepares, and always likes to have a backup plan and an ace in the hole. Weapons: None, it'd be silly for a college student to walk around with weapons, and Eilif places great faith in his natural abilities and his learned talents. Powers: The tentacles that he has in demon form have microscopic barbs on them that administer a powerful poison. The barbs can be retracted if the poison isn't needed. Eilif can manipulate these tentacles with pinpoint accuracy and uses them as whips and restraints.Even in his human form he can call out the tentacles if he ever needs to defend himself. Eilif also spent the better part of four centuries learning and mastering the art of water manipulation. While this power was rather lackluster in the fiery pits of hell, he planed on using it to aid in the conquering of earth. He had almost complete control of the ocean and the atmosphere before the merge and could suck the water out of any living being, leaving a dry husk behind. However post merge, his powers have been greatly weakened. History: Born a demon in on of the lowest circles of hell, he was forced to gain power as quickly as possible or be killed in the never ending violence. He eventually became a member of a great demon army under the control of a demon lord Yami. The house of Yami was always fighting other great demon empires in an attempt to expand its own power. Eilif, slowly moved up through the ranks and eventually became chief of the intelligence department, helping makes plans for Yami's eventual conquest of Earth. During a siege on Yami's lands by a neighboring territories top warriors Eilif was cornered and defeated by one of the assassins. In exchange for his life, he switched to the assassins side and aided in the almost complete destruction of the great Yami's kingdom. But in the end, Yami's armies were to mighty and Yami personally helped in the slaying of every member of the opposing army, except one. Eilif had managed to escape to Earth at the last minute. Realizing that he could never return to his homeland he decided to take up residence on Earth, and fought to protect it from Yami's agents. Eventually a band of angels apprehended him and brought him for heaven for trial. Because he had not actually done anything wrong to the humans of earth, and he was killing demons that managed to follow him, he was allowed to remain in the human world, under the condition that he have his power sealed away, and took up living a normal human life. Unwilling to part with his power for fear that Yami will come seeking vengeance. He went back on his word to the angels by hiding the the body of a young boy. The boy had committed suicide, but just as the soul separated from the body, Eilif forced his way inside the body, saving the boy's soul and hiding himself. Oliver's soul partially fussed with his own, and how he is unable to leave his body. Oliver allowed Eilif to live his life, not wanting his second chance, Eilif however, is unable to return to his true.
18. Bah, yet another chapter goes by with no mention of Gin. He should have a mask too... right. Plus his bankai needs to be revealed. Plus he is one of my favorite characters and I want to see some more of him, like slicing up some minor characters or Ichigo.
19. This chapter showed a different side of Aizen. This is the first time he has shown frustration and impatience. I am excited that Aizen has run out of lackys and will soon be joining the battle. I hope that he starts by slicing up all the lower power captains that he has already proven he can take out in one hit... mostly all the small white haired children and giant dog-people. Then maybe move on to Hachi, so the injured people stay injured. Gin needs a good fighting partner and I feel like Rose would be a good choice. Tosen needs his head cut off, he is has been irritating me every time he shows up on a page. Also I am very curious what is going on with Yammy. He is obviously doomed, seeing as his opponents are main characters, popular captains, and Unohana.
20. Aizen killing off his own people is dumb imo. What is the point of even bringing them along if he is going to kill them off later. Harribel might not have been the strongest fighter, but she was loyal and was able to fight on par with a captain and two ex-vice captain vizard. I can't see the logic in "team killing" when your side is so out numbered. Gin and Aizen better have some bad *** bankai and Wonderwise's release needs to be insanely powerful, if he still hopes to win. Even if Aizen can one-shot half of his competition I think that Yammamoto is still more powerful (and isn't suffering from any injuries).
21. I don't want Aizen to get beaten... for some reason I find it really hard to imagine him fighting someone for more than a few panels... maybe Yamamoto could put up a good fight. Now that I think about it... why is it such a big deal that he wants to be God? I didn't like this weeks episode at all, I want explanations or good fights, and this episode had neither. This weeks chapter was actually enjoyable, or at least I thought. But next week's is what I have been waiting for.
22.
Huh? I'm a bit lost here. Current chapter or anime?
Anime, sorry for the confusion.
23. No manga? Anyway, as far as the anime goes the Shinigami are lucky to have Zaraki. He is a captain level fighter who doesn't rely on his sword at all. He has already proven that he can handle beating captains with their zanpakuto, so he should have no issues beating just the zanpakuto right? Yoruichi is pretty BA at fighting too and she doesn't need a sword. Ichigo is totally reliant on his sword and if he didn't have a hollow mask to fall back on fighting Zangetsu would be disastrous. Maybe it would cause him to learn some new shinigami skills and refine his fighting style :) Anyway, I don't really see why they are causing so much fuss about this. Yeah at first having your own powers turn on you would be surprising and a bit overwhelming but captains dodn't become captains just because they can use shikai and bankai. They should still be talented enough to battle their swords into submission, in my opinion. I wonder who the main villain belonged too.
24. So... this is the final battle? I mean, if Aizen wins and kills off (haha) the Vizard and Captains, or at least puts them in a situation where they can't battle, he can march straight to Soul Society and creates his King Key (totally forgot this manga had plot) unopposed. If he losses here, and his forces are defeated (even if he manages to escape) the major threat is over. He can't return to whats left of Los Noches or he will be ambushed by four captains and the main character squad. Also Hogyoku seems to be damaged and unless its repaired, he won't be able to make armies of super powerful hollows. I think that the Arrancar are an important piece of his plan, otherwise he would not have created them. I suppose that he could go to Soul Society himself, since I'm sure he can create the key himself, but then he would be forced to fight all the remaining shinigami, main characters, and Vizard that remain. I don't think he is powerful enough to do all that. So is this the "winter battle" that was lightly touched upon? This seems like a important point in the plot to be anything else and if it is, after its resolution... I see little reason for the story to go on.
25. The action was nice, even if it wasn't the battle I really wanted to see. If Hachi's plan worked then the 2nd Espada is beaten... at first I did not like this one bit, but then I thought about it. Barragan's power is really awesome, and it deserves a high seat in the Espada and I think that is the only reason Barragan was powerful. With his aging-fog-shield nothing can touch him, providing he has enough time to decay what ever is coming at him, so it's not necessary for him to have a super durable body. Soifon's rocket launcher does have the potential to deal some massive damage and Hachi robbed Barragan of his defense. If any of that is true it explains why Barragan's ridiculous power only landed him number 2, Starrk is too fast for him. Anyways, I guess I just really want him to be dead so we can move one to interesting stuff with more interesting characters. Hachi's is a kido beast and was really awesome, doing better than a captain's bankai could. I don't like this back story that is coming, involving Soifon, Hachi, and Urahara. Hopefully it will switch back to Starrk next chapter or, actually I wouldn't mind, going to see what is going down with Yammy.
