I don't think this is kinda like an anime, but more of a kids cartoon like you see in Cartoon Network or something like it. (I might be wrong though).

This anime looks like its from the 80's or 90's because the style it look and everything. I think people don't know much about it because it looks old and the drawing looks old (as I said earlier).

Gaming Apollo Justice: Ace Attorney
Vigilance replied to The Spectacular Professor's topic in Noosphere
So, what is the story of the new Apollo Justice game about? I heard that its gonna be a new storyline to it. -
Well I don't know if this anime that should be called "a classic", but I want to get your opinion if it should be a classic anime. Outlaw Star It is one of the best anime that I seen till to this day. Outlaw Star, to me, feel's like its similar to Cowboy Bebop, but with a twist. I know that this series has some comedy, lots of action, I think, and some romance. The story of Outlaw Star follows the outlaw Gene Starwind and his eleven year-old business associate, Jim Hawking. Together they run a small jack-of-all-trades business on the backwater planet Sentinel III. After the two take a job as bodyguards for a mysterious outlaw, they find themselves the owners of the XGP15A-II, a highly advanced prototype spacecraft, and the caretakers of a bio-android named Melfina. Through the course of the series, the crew grows to include the assassin "Twilight" Suzuka and Aisha Clan-Clan, a Ctarl-Ctarl and former Ambassador of the Ctarl-Ctarl Empire. So the genre for this anime is a mix of action, some comdey, and a little bit of romance. So I hope that you will think that this is a classic.

Anime Big Lots store has Anime for $3 a pop.
Vigilance replied to onenuttytanuki's topic in Otaku Central
Sorry, but the Big Lots in my city doesn't have any anime on sell:animecry:. You must be so lucky to buy anime at some cheap store, I wish that happen to me:animecry:. -
Last Exile is a good series that you must watch. Last I remember is that Last Exile didn't have any romance in it and has action in it too. Well if you want more action, I highly recommended Devil May Cry, that anime is so awesome. It has awesome action that I think you'll like, like me when I watch it the other day. Like have you play the Devil May Cry series? Its what your going to expect in this anime series, like the video game series too.

The what video in the Brawl thread? Did someone put a video in a thread?
-
What about putting anime videos on this site? Think about it, maybe people will come on this site to watch and anime. I think that it would be a good idea because most other site that have lots of anime video and their site has lots of people. So what I'm trying to say is that if there an anime video here, on this site, then lots of people will come and member's of the OtakuBoards will be happy too. I'm talking about the anime fans.
*crashes into the deat thread* w00t! I've been obsessed with this game since it was first announced in the Famitsu in June 2006! I'm still obsessed about it now :'D And I don't have a 360. ._. So what do I do? Draw too much ES fanart T-T;; So I must ask ... Does anyone here have this game? What are your thoughts? Come oooon x3 !!!! There's got to be at least one person xD
I have the game, and I have admit it that Eternal Sonata is one of the best RPG that I played. The graphic is very amazing, its like watching an anime series. Music for the game is very very awesome, and some how it does remind me one of Miyazaki's film. Storyline of Eternal Sonata is very good, it keeps you up on wondering whats going to happen next. Anyway, if you have an Xbox 360 or just love JRPG, then you should own this title, its a must have for fans of JRPG.:animestun

Gaming Apollo Justice: Ace Attorney
Vigilance replied to The Spectacular Professor's topic in Noosphere
I'm not sure I understand the question. Do you mean are there 3 Phoenix Wright games? Because if so, yes. They are: Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney, Phoenix Wright Ace Attorney: Justice for All, and Phoenix Wright Ace Attorney: Trials and Tribulations.QUOTE] That is the question I wanted to know. Really? There are three Phoenix Wright games? Huh, guess I learn something new everyday:p. I didn't know that there were three games on Phoenix Wright, guess I must be slow:animeswea. Anyway, thank you for answering my question because I had a feeling the Phoenix Wright series has three part to it, but I also had another feeling that I might be wrong. -
Gaming Apollo Justice: Ace Attorney
Vigilance replied to The Spectacular Professor's topic in Noosphere
Wow the game does sound interesting, but I never played the first game yet. Well here's my question for the game , not the new one: Does the Phoenix Wright game have 3 part to it? Anyway back to the subject, I heard this game is awesome but I never have a chance to actually buy the game:animecry:. When I have enough money I am hoping to buy Apollo Justice: Ace Attorney, the game look fun and cool too. -
Wow almost alot of misspell word in this thread here. To answer your question, I have heard of the game, but never got a chance to play it. I don't know, much I heard of the game is that it is an average game and what I said that I never play it was because I haven't bought it yet. So I guess I'll wait until I have enough money or wait until the price for the game lower.

I wanted to talk about the newest installment of Advance Wars. Here I am going to review what I think of it, after that I'm going to say what I think of the game and how it does. Gameplay I think the new Advance War game is very good and addictive also. It is fun like in the previous installment. Gameplay for this new installment is still the same but with different new things to look to. Graphic Once you think the graphic look the same, your wrong. In the battle scene it is very different, because the battle scene is different then the other Advance War game. I say the graphic still look good even with the little army unit in a different angle. Sound Quality The sound is good, especially the little army unit. Like the Anti-air, or the Fighter unit the sound effect for them is amazing. The sound effect almost sound kinda real, I think. Music Here's my favorite part of the game, the music. The music to each character and the music of this game is simply very very good. Everytime you choose a different CO, they have their own theme song, most of the CO have like a rock music of some sort. The storyline line music when you play through the game is simply good too. Storyline Hmmmmm... well I have to say that the storyline is very good. Why is the storyline is good? Its because this time the story is a little bit more dark and its more of a T-rated game storyline. Once you went through the storyline its going to remind you of a game you once play before, like it did to me. Online What is cool about this feature is that, you can play online and use voice chat while you play online. You can trade maps and battle friends online, so if you like to dominate, destroy, or just play a friendly game online with a friend or friend's, then this game is for you. Well thats what I think of the game. The game is awesome, so I recommend buying this game if you have a Nintendo DS or if your a fan of the series like me. Cool stuff is on the game if you buy it. New character to choose from and new maps to play on. This game is on one of my top list, so not buying it is a bad thing to do. Overall I say this game does very well then I expected. You could say I'm impress about this game.

Wow its already coming out? I can't wait until Turok comes out, that game look awesome. I heard its gonna be one of the awesome games that coming out this year, so I hope it lives up to it reputation, which I know it will probably be.

Good old Outlaw Star, how I remember the good old times:p. I like Aisha Clanclan, she is funny and hot, she is the lunatic dark skin cat-girl:catgirl:. Here's what I'm going to explain about her:As a Ctarl-Ctarl Ambasador, she was in charge of locating the Galactic Leyline for the Empire, but after she unknowingly allowed Hot Ice Hilda to escape, the Empire ordered her to stay behind on Blue Heaven to look for clues as punishment. As such, she joins the Outlaw crew. Still till today, she's my favorite character now. :animesigh I agree with some of you that Outlaw Star should be play again in Adult Swim. I got an idea, why don't someone start a petition? You know a petiton, on Adult Swim to make them put on Outlaw Star on again. Like have people sign there name and explain why you want to put it back on air again.
Because they're 2 different games lol. The game you're talking about for the 360 is Rise of the Ninja. An action/adventure game that is also a fighting game.. (I think) While Path of the Ninja is a RPG game. (As the topic creator have stated.) All of these Naruto games follow the same story, it's just some goes further than the others.... Or so it's said... "shrugs" I don't own either one though. (nor a 360 or DS)
Oh ok I got it now. Sorry if I confuse the two game, its just that the DS version reminded me of the 360 version, thats all. I must've forget about the different Naruto title's they had for each different console, like the Wii, Game Cube, Playstation 2, Nintendo DS, Gameboy Advance, PSP, and the 360.

Gaming New Kingdom Hearts Games! & "358/2 Days" & "Birth by Sleep!"
Vigilance replied to Tatsubei Yagyu's topic in Noosphere
I heard about these two Kingdom Heart's game. I don't know the full detail, but these game should be good once there release. I think there going to be release in 2008, but my guess is in 2009. -
Did you know that there's a Naruto game for the Xbox 360 already? That is the same game, but with better graphic design and character design too. Story line should be the same, but I think its a little different. So why get the Nintendo DS version when you can get the 360 version?
The most depressing moment of my life: Pre-ordering Mass Effect while my 360 was being repaired for red ring of death. It still isn't back. :(
Seem like you are having a bad time now, but don't worry. Once your 360 comes back, it'll be worth it to play Mass Effect. For myself, I pre-order the game, but I haven't had a ride to go get Mass Effect at the local Gamestop yet:animecry:. So I'll try to get it today or tomorrow, hopefully:animestun, and play Mass Effect because I really want to play the game badly:animestun.

Ok I try downloading this game and running it, but it wouldn't let me play it online so I don't know what I'm doing wrong here. When it was downloading and was fully playable, the game just exit itself. Maybe its me, I don't know, maybe I'm tripping out or just drunk or something.

^ Well you seem to be having a problem, lucky for me that I reserve a copy of Call of Duty 4 and that game is sweet. Let's see. Need more "umph". Why do you think the game is sweet? And lastly, you don't need to quote the entire post of the poster above especially when there post is alot longer than yours. ~Tombstone~
I've heard the same thing John has said everywhere. Therefore, I've never played it, it doesn't even look interesting to me. The community in all these free games is notoriously bad, not just in MS. Ultimately, you get what you pay for; and if you're not paying for it, then... Flyff and Rappelz are probably better choices, but only slightly better. Rakion is pretty cool too but there is NO help for new players. You get a useless training level and then you're trust out into the vicious online multiplayer mode.
I heard about that too, at first I join it because I wanted to see what is it like. For the first few hour I had fun, but it got boring and hard because the enemies does alot of damage to you and the leveling up takes almost forever. Plus, when you get to a certain level they require you to get the require stats to be in a certain job, like a warrior, magician, or bowmen. I thought that once I reach level 10, I would be a warrior, but they cheated me out. After awhile, I stumble onto Flyff and that MMO is so fun. Flyff is a pretty good MMO to play if you think Maple Story is bad. So if anyone have a Flyff character and play's online go to the level Kern normal 6-2, thats where I'm at. So if your there my character name is Trila a female character. I begun playing it last week and I'm at level 10 so add me if your there.
Heh, although I do like Kingdom Hearts 2, I'm not a huge supporter of it but "shrugs". Uhh.. Another game that've caught my interest is The Last Remnant. Another title done by Square-Enix which is a turn based strategy? game. And I'm not even into these strategical games. I'm not amped about it but the way they have the gameplay setup, and the way they shift around the whole field looks like you're in some sort of epic cg movie. Last 4 games that I've been anticipating are rpgs.... Guess I can't say I don't like rpg's anymore lol.
The Last Remnant, can't wait until that game comes out. I'll try to explain more of The Last Remnant The Last Remnant - The Last Remnant (ラスト レムナント?) is an upcoming console role-playing game developed and published by Square Enix for the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360. The game is being directed by Hiroshi Takai and will be the first Unreal Engine 3 game scheduled to be released by Square Enix. The game is directed at both Japanese and North American audiences and will have a simultaneous release (another first for Square Enix) in both regions in Spring 2008. It is intended by Square Enix president Yōichi Wada to "become a cornerstone for [their] worldwide strategy". Art direction is being overseen by chief artist Kimihiko Miyamae and art producer Yusuke Naora. The game's soundtrack will be composed by Tsuyoshi Sekito. Gameplay - The Last Remnant will feature a turn-based battle system with no random encounters. It will also contain quick time events, sequences where the player must press a combination of buttons with a correct timing to defeat enemies. This system has appeared in other video games before The Last Remnant, for instance in Shenmue, Kingdom Hearts II and Final Fantasy VIII. In addition to the main character, the player's team (called a "Union") is composed of a number of soldiers whose skills vary according to different parameters. One parameter is the "morale" bar, which is affected by the events in battle and affects the way characters perform in battle. Battles can involve up to 70 enemies at once and will be at the core of the gameplay. Additionally, a high number of quests are expected. Setting - The Last Remnant is set in a fictional world featuring a number of distinct humanoid races; the Mitras, most human in appearance, the Yamas, strong fish-like people, the Qsitis, small reptilians, and the Sovannis, feline people with four arms. The story of the game revolves around "remnants", mysterious and coveted artifacts of varying shapes and sizes which possess magic powers and which have been the cause of several wars throughout the game's history Character - The game features one protagonist. Despite earlier thoughts of there being two main protaganists, Square-Enix released that only one is available. The player controls an 18 year-old swordsman named Rush Sykes, who is designed primarily for fans of traditional Japanese role-playing games. Trying to rescue his sister, Irina who after being knocked unconscious is kidnapped by some unknown organization. Rush soon finds himself involved in a global conflict concerning the remnants. Another character is an older man with long silver hair and crimson clothes, known simply as The Conqueror, and is designed to appeal to Western gamers. Many screen shots of him show him with blood splattered all over him which is thought, allegedly, to be the "blood of his victims". Safe to say, he is probobly one of the antagonists. The Conqueror is a remnants collector; he is also linked to Rush, although the nature of this link is unknown. An English actor who appeared in James Cameron film Titanic, Emmett James, voices the character Wilfred Hermeien, a politician and chairman of the congress Development - The Last Remnant was announced at a press conference at Shinjuku, Tokyo on May 10, 2007. The game's director is Hiroshi Takai, executive producer is Akitoshi Kawazu, producer is Nobuyuki Ueda. The artwork is led by Kimihiko Miyamae and produced by Yusuke Naora, and its music is composed by Tsuyoshi Sekito. The Last Remnant is the first game to use the Unreal Engine 3, and the first time Square Enix has had to adapt to new technologies and ways of development. Because of the use of the new engine, the production time to seeing graphical resources onscreen was cut significantly, allowing the team to begin illustrating and experimenting at an early stage. The development team plans to distinguish The Last Remnant from the Final Fantasy series and other command battle games. Because the way battles are handled, the team has not been concerned with making the game for all ages. So I explain it here about The Last Remnant. Hope that it will come out soon without any delay:animeswea A bit late, lol, but let's give credit instead of claim it. Wikipedia is our friend :) ~Tombstone~

Did anyone mention Soul Calibur 4? That graphic look really good for a next gen game. I found out that they added a new character name Hilde, which I think that some people already know. For those who don't know who Hilde is, I'll try to explain about her from what I read. Hilde is one of the new character that your going to play, she can wield two weapon at once. One of them is the spear, the other is a sword. What she look like is that she is wearing armor and she look pretty good too. I know that someone mention Devil May Cry 4 already in this thread, but I have an update for people that don't already know. In Devil May Cry 4, there is in one part where Dante is meeting Trish(from DMC1) and Lady(from DMC3) in Dante's store. Also when you unlock Dante as a playable charcter you get his three style from DMC3, which I know most fan will like it. Vergil is not in this game.

I wanted to discuss "what is the best racing game out currently?". Ok last week I went to Gamestop to buy a good racing game and I found two of them. Its Project Gotham Racing 4 and Forza Motorsport 2. I was thinking closely about what Xbox 360 racing title I should get. So finally a long hard fought battle with my brain, I decided to get Project Gotham Racing 4. So I think I make the right decision on buying PGR4. Please discuss what racing game you think is very fun in this thread. Also in this thread you can discuss it or debate it here if you all wanted too.:animesmil
