Schlang steps out of the shadows Schlang: Time to heat things up a little He charges his energy blast, given enough time due to the fighting, as nobody notices him, due to the commotion Shlang: Ripe for the picking... With that, he seperated the now massive ball into five smaller balls, and fired it at each of the fighters. As it nears, they notice, but don't have time to evade
Originally posted by D. Dark Red XIII: Well, we've reached the bottom. Now it's time to investigate. Chakara: *mutters* damn... The three warriors walked along the path slowly. Red XIII was in the lead followed by Chakara and Seri. The two didn't know what to expect, from the shadows, from the small openings, from nowhere... A swift breeze blew along the tunnel, that made Chakara shiver. A moan... Chakara: What was that??? Red XIII: The spirits are restless, but we must press on. More than ever was Chakara frightened, and he found it impossible to concentrate. Every step took an eternity, but even that seemed too long... Darkness was unveiling itself over time. Chakara's legs felt like lead weights, and he lost all sense of direction, save for the burning glow of the tails in front of him. ???: Gyyyahhhhh... Chakara: Uh...what the hell? Red XIII: Look out! To be continued...
As Red XIII and Seri jumped out from behind Seri into where the noise was coming from, Chakara, afraid and startled, backed off, and whined. All he could hear was growling, and a ghastly hissing from a distance. Then came a swish, and the sounds of bodies moving, through the shadows. A bite, a louder hiss, and then a bang and a whimper, and one becoming louder, and louder. "No!!!!" Another hit, and this time another body went flying across, towards Chakara. It struggled to it's feet, but couldn't. Red XIII: Chakara, you must find and save Seri! Chakara: But how? You're injured, and I'm...I'm Red XIII: ...afraid? Let your mind guide you, for now is not the time to get butterflies! Chakara: I... Another, longer, more painful howl... Chakara: Seri? No answer... Chakara: SERI!!! Chakara worked himself into a rage. "This all my fault, I should have confronted the...thing when I had my chance. It...it may be too late. Seri may be..." With that, Chakara howled short, and sharp, and anger burned in his eyes, and the fire in his tail glowed brighter than ever. He ran, ran faster than in any race, and jumped, and soared like an eagle. Then positioning himself, he swooped down at the creature, and stunned it, with his "Crazy dive". However, as he stepped on the floor, he felt a warm puddle on the floor, and felt a presence near him. Chakara: You...you monster!!!! And with that, in his rage, he clawed away at whatever was in his way. He slashed hard, and he slashed low, and he felt the tearing of flesh from muscle. Cries of "Stop!" echoed up and down the darkness, but he heeded them not. He continued in his rage, slashing away, when he felt a sudden pound from his side, and he flew into the wall. He got up, and growled. Red XIII: Chakara, stop! Stop now! Chakara: *returning to normalacy* Why? Red XIII: Because the creature is dead, Chakara. It is dead. Chakara: Who killed it, you? Red XIII: No, you. Chakara: When? Red XIII: In your dive. Chakara: So...who was I fighting? Seri: *meekly* Me... Chakara: What? Red XIII: Not now. He needs attantion, and I cannot give it. We have to give up our...excursion. He will get help on land. We need more hands for this job. Come, we must go. Picking up Seri, Red XIII bounded off into the distance, with Chakara behind. However, he had mixed feelings for his brother. One of them was: "I knew I was stronger than my brother"

Have you ever had just one of "Those "days...
Originally posted by Squashed Snail Well currently I'm in the middle of my 4th "those days" day in a row. Nothing ever goes right when you want it too.... though when you don't want it too, it does.... Grrrr... :flaming:
Ah yes... That is the beggining of one of "Those" weeks, where nothing goes right. Started for me by breaking my glasses, the zip on my suitcase, and acting like a drunken guy, and ending with beng ill. Sheesh, and ina bloody camping trip! -
Originally posted by Squashed Snail Does this happen to be like "Lazergun"? A real-life maze thing, where you walk around with guns, and wear a vest and stuff. And when someone shoots you, you get pwered down for 20 seconds?
No, nothing like it. This you have a guy sitting down, or guys and gals, or whatever, having the story dictated to them, and hacking and slashing creatures in very evil ways, eg: "You hew the kobold from his head to toes, ripping him into two, blood spurting everywhere" That kinda thing. I've played Baldur's Gate 2, so I'm slightly familiar with some of the game rules (It's based on A D&D rules)
Originally posted by BabyGirl Why do I feel that some of you are over exaggerating about the number of languages you speak? Perhaps it's because most of you are younger than me and I have had 4 years of French and I am far from fluent...:shifty: Ah well, I suppose some of you are bilingual if you come from a home that speaks both English and another language, but honestly...ALL of those languages? I must be really far behind on my education or something :cross:
Let's just say that you know over 250 words in that language... If it was down to if you can vaguely speak a language, then I would also have: Latin; Croatian; Bosnian; Macedonian; Greek; French; Japanese; and so on. It's stupid. I'm only fleunt in two languages, and learning another two, and that's it (They are mentioned in the list)
Originally posted by Duo Maxwell yeah you do.... uh... i was just saying that because ss gets pains when he thinks about painful stuff, like me, that thinking about how it'd feel weird with a blade to your wrist would make your wrist hurt... trust me i know
Ah... Unlucky. I feel very little pain, even physical, never mind thinking about pain. I got hit in the head with a box today, and I felt nothing, but it went really red (I have sensitive skin) You don't mind me using that smilie, do you? -

Anyway, I still mentioned languages. Still, my school, to me, is normal. But your school must be small.

They are the most annoying things, and yet they happen so often... Like yesterday, when I got a 33% on a Chemistry test (I'd just come back from holiday, failed a German RE-TEST, and got a bad note, then got told that my teachers thought I was an arrogant prat. Then I told my parents of the bad note... :( :( Just one of those days. Anybody else had one? I've so many more to tell, including a whole week of crap...

I haven't played it, though I have friends that have. I'd like to though. I've played RPG's with a Gamesmaster, but it didn't have a board. Just pieces of paper with stats...

Heh, I'm atheist, so I don't need to worry about religion, just need to worry about other people's religions... Although I have links to three different religions through my family, but both my parents were atheist as their parents were of seperate religions, and probably couldn't be bothered to influence them...

Your school is so small. My school has over 1200 people, and that's not including staff. I'm fluent in English and Yugosalvian, and I learn German and Russian, and that's about it. Nothing on my sister, though...

Meanwhile, back at Cosmo Canyon Bugenhagen: (To Nanaki) There's trouble down there again. Seems the spirits never rest... Red XIII: They are restless...that is not a good sign. Not good at all... Bugenhagen: But I was sure you destroyed them all thirty years ago. You and me and Cloud and someone else were there. HooHooHoo Red XIII: Well, it seems our job down there is not completed. I don't recommend you coming along this time, though. Bugenhagen: Now, now, Nanaki... Red XIII: No! Grandfather, you are too ill, you need your rest. I will settle this. *Bugenhagen makes to get out of bed* No!! You are dying, and dying too fast! You can't leave me now... Bugenhagen: HooHooHoo! You still have the fire of youth in you... Red XIII: Maybe, but I still cannot do this task alone. I will need others... *Stands at the balcony, and howls long and slowly, with breaks as if talking* Red XIII: Well, I'm off, grandfather! Take care of yourself! Bugenhagen: Good luck! You'll need it for whatever's down there... **************************************************** Two young wolf-like creatures answer the calling howl, and dart off into the night. They run with amazing speed and agility, and seem to be competing with one another. One is sprightly, with a more glowing tale, while the other, stronger, but just youthful one goes just a little slower. They arrive at a door, where another waits for them Chakara: Seri, you've been beaten...again! Seri: Huh, it'll be the last time. Chakara: Yeah, doubt that... Red XIII: *growls* Stop it, the pair of you! *Whimpers are heard from the two younger wolves* Red XIII: Now, we've come here for a reason. Do you remember how I told you off the story of me and the adventurers taking care of the ghosts down there *points with tail* Chakara: *after some thought* Oh yes, I remember. That sounded scary! Weren't you afraid? Red XIII: That does not matter. Look, there are...problems down there. We have to go and investigate...the disturbance... Seri: What's wrong? Red XIII: We don't know. We think it might be the ghosts resurfacing, but we're not sure, so we want to go down there. Chakara: *looking afraid* We're going...down there??? Red XIII: Yes... Chakara: We have to... Red XIII: Yes... Chakara: You sure? Red XIII: Look, you are going down there. I'll protect you from harm. Chakara: O...ok. I'm afraid... Red XIII: There's nothing to afraid of. *checks equipment* Red XIII: Ready? Chakara: *under breath* No. Red XIII: Ok, let's go With that, the warriors leap down the passage, while Chakara follows unwittingly, still assuming that he is not a warrior like his father, still assuming he is too young. "He has growing up to do" thought Nanaki, "It is time for him"
