Anime The anime here in america...is it getting childish?
ChokinChocobo23 replied to Humaru's topic in Otaku Central
I enjoy staying up at 3 in the morning to watch stuff like Inuyasha. True that I shouldn't be dissin' on cartoon network, but its like the only station that plays the anime that I will watch, and most of the stuff during the daytime schedule is childish. But, as soon as adult swim rolls around, a lot of good animes do appear. -
Oh yeh, DON"T EVER WATCH "Panda Z". This anime sux, no voice what-so-ever, and each episode is only like 5 minutes long if even that, and the whole shows just pointless so don't ever buy it or whatever.:animestun
The very mediocre Marvin. He lives in his moms basement does crystal meth and plays World of Warcraft all day. Also on weekends he invites whores over and has a mediocre time with them. He would put a hole in his head but he is to stoned to find the gun. And he needs to level up his warlock some more.
hahaha. that sounds just like my little brother.lol:animesmil

1)Cromartie High School- Even though this anime is very random, I go for things like that. Cromartie High has a lot of humorous moments all throughout the show. Plus, from watching most of the episodes of Bobobobobobobo, I think I have adapted to watching it.lol. 2)Naruto- Naruto is an awesome series packed full of action and adrenaline in just about every episode. Sure, they drag on a lot of the action in a lot of the episodes, but it makes up for it the next week when it comes on. 3)Tenchi Muyo- I love watching the different interactions between Tenchi and all of the girls living in his house. That is what make this a good anime. Also, I sorta grew up on it. 4)Death Note- This anime is the shiznit. I can't go one week without wanting to know what will happen in the next episode. Death Note is very clever, and the quarrel between Light and L gets pretty intense sometimes. 5)Ranma 1/2- Its a little old lookin' but I still like watching this series. It has a lot of comic relief along the way. Well, these are my favorite animes. :animesmil

Anime The anime here in america...is it getting childish?

I think that the animes here in America have gotten a wee-bit childish. I think it has a little more action, but some of the stuff on Cartoon Network is falling away from the mainstream a bit. -
Fine, sorry about that, haha, I personally don't like Lupin the 3rd, thats in my opionion, I mean, I know that its a timeless classic, but I've just never been able to get into it much.

I love Naruto.Haha. Every week I get that adrenaline rush when a fight is pursuing and when it ends. So I watch it all the time.

A sad death in anime for me is Haku as well, and also Chi(or however you say it) of Chobits, at the end of the series, well, she doesn't exactly die, but it was really sad for me.:animecry:

Wooh, I would have to say that the worst anime I've seen so far would definitely have to be Lupin the III, that show is so stupid, and I believe that it is nearly impossible to get addicted or even watch the show for one episode. Its that bad and boring.

Anime What are You Watching/Reading Now?
ChokinChocobo23 replied to 2010DigitalBoy's topic in Otaku Central
In my opinion you should check out something along the lines of Cromartie High School if you want one of those off-the-wall animes. It is pretty funny and very random at times, but I enjoy it alot. Also, lately I've been reading the manga "Psychic Academy" and it was really good of what I read of it.;)
