Glorious day! OB is back! I was driven mad because I wasn't able to do my nightly prowl of this thread... I have a dentist appointment to get my teeth molded today. The one time I get to leave school early, and I only leave in the middle of my lunch period immediately after my least favorite class... Ewww... Does anbody have any ideas to throw at me pertaining to why my supposedly expired security software still runs scans and then tells me I have a single tracking cookie somewhere? It's ALWAYS a SINGLE tracking cookie! What the heck?!

I'd just like to take this time to point out how awesome it can be sometimes to be an ignorant, youthful, wastrel of a high school freshman. In case you couldn't tell, today was positively superb. I helped the hungry, played with grape-scented bubbles, went on an adventure in a small forest, danced in the middle of a downpour, fed chocolate to a trashcan deity, looked at artwork and squeed at a caterpillar. I did this all of with my very best friend at my side. Life is good.

When I first read this, I thought you might have been a bit harsh, Allamorph. After all, the journalist is only human and will probably make a few mistakes. But after re-reading it, I think I've changed my mind. Sure, the journalist is allowed some leeway, but I think this goes a bitt farther than my leeway area. The article just seems to be very opinionated rather than factual. It also strikes me as overdone. It's like the journalist and the people quoted are trying to dramatize a simple soda tax. It's[I] just[/I] a soda tax. We probably need the money anyway, what with this gargantuan debt our country has looming over its head like a pricey storm cloud... I don't see what the problem is. If someone doesn't like the tax, can't they just go buy themselves a smoothie or something?
