I have had hiccups for the last 5 hours on and off for no good reason. Obviously, I want them gone. Does anyone have any suggestions? Also, I figured it was about time that OB had a home remedy thread. If you can think of something that you have always used to get better from illness, please share your secrets here!
This is like saying you'll never get married because you have seen so many marriages end in divorce.
True, I suppose. I'm sure there are people that can drink with caution and control, but I haven't seen very many. I have a deep respect for those who can, though. Another reason I would never drink though is because I am well aware of the alcohol abuse that runs in my family. It may skip a generation, but I'm not willing to take that chance.
I'm amused that I had to spend the first of my birthday money on feminine hygiene products. Needs over wants, I suppose.
:( I am wearing some pretty fabulous socks today. Almost makes me wish I was daring enough to wear shorts instead of jeans today. Almost. Sometimes I wish I could zap people like a Pichu... Some people I know could use a good zap.
Nothing makes me feel like drinking. No, really. Nothing.
I wuv you.:catgirl: I will never consume any alcoholic beverage. I have seen what it can do to people and it disgusts me. The very scent of it lingers in a room and on a person and makes me sick to my stomach. It saddens me that people have to resort to drinking that awful stuff when they are stressed, but if that's their way of coping, then I guess I can understand. But when the alcohol starts hurting those around you, some people should know to knock it off.
I'm thinking I want to upgrade to a bomber jacket some day. They're kind of expensive, but a good bomber jacket is probably the only article of clothing I'd ever spend upwards of 100 dollars for.
But of course! Bomber jackets are worth every penny if you manage to find one! I really would like to try wearing cargo pants some day, but my mom seems to have this idea that cargo pants are a boy only clothing item. Same with camouflage shorts. And hiking boots.

I haven't been playing for a while because of schoolwork, but I just tried to beat Lance... I hate him and his 3 Dragonite friends... I had everything on his team out cold with only my paralyzed Typhlosion left. And he sent out a Charizard. ARGH. I WAS SOOO CLOSE! So now I'm still grinding to get myself a Dragonite... DAMN.

Re-reading the Harry Potter series just 'cause. Of course, now I have the urge to grab the only good broom in the house and leap off the roof with it like an idiot. Also, I strongly encourage everyone to pick up Douglas Adams' book Last Chance to See. I've just re-read it for the 7th time and it still makes me crack up. The book is about Douglas Adams going on a series of trips in order to catch glimpses of endangered animals throughout the world. It's actually very funny and enlightening at the same time, so... Yeah. There's nothing like a doctor who answers the question "Well, then what do we do if we get bitten by something deadly?" with a condescending stare and "You die, of course. That's what deadly means!"

:animedepr *glances at NintendoDS Lite* I'm not so much interested in what the players look like, because chances are that we'll end up having to be either one anyway. I'm more interested in the starters I get to pick from! The fire one had better be awesome, too! I don't want to have to go through the game with a fiery pill bug or something.

For some, it may be the anime lovers that prowl the site. For others, it may be the freedom to gab at people about your shiny Cyndaquil in the gaming threads. And for more, it may be the sense of understanding and mutual interests that we get from our family-like friends here. For me, it's the last part. Not to say that I don't enjoy using word vomit to express my love of Kamina, Jigglypuff and the fanfics where the two have romantic feelings towards each other. But there's just something about having so many relatable people crammed together in this odd tenant building that is OB. There's so much to enjoy about OB that it's sort of hard to put into words, but... Well, the least I can say is that the beloved founders did a darn good job.
can't say i checked your public profile... however to someone as immature as myself (21 years and still watches word girl) you seem a bit talk a bit older than 15
I seem to get that a lot both on and off the internet... Along with people always running up to me in stores and giving me some complaint about the layout of yogurt next to Jell-O or something before they finally realize that I don't freaking work there.
however this does change my families opinion towards me when you come over.... i smile just thinking about the weird glances!
Trust me, I'm also smiling. Or smirking. Or laughing so hard my diaphragm gives out. It's hard to tell them apart sometimes.
I would be honored, and your welcome at any of mine. My family is very nosy though, and me bringing a girl would instantly make you the most popular person at the party(all I here about is grandchildren... great grand children and extending the family name) till they find out you have as much intrest in me as every other woman in the world... then it might get a bit awkward until one of the family members gets drunk and becomes the next popular one
Woman? I don't think I have the right to be called that for about 2 and a half more years. Until then I am apparently a young adult... That reminds me... I am having a hard time finding a decent enough Basement Kitty plushie! :(
THERE'S NO WAY THAT CAN BE RIGHT! CAN IT?
IT MOST CERTAINLY CAN, GOOD SIRS. Besides, I was only walking from about 10 a.m. to about 4 p.m., not to mention the time I spent in taxis can't be counted. So of course the number may be pretty low. Also, CaNz is now invited to all my birthday parties, family reunions, etc. Hope you like pillow fights and BBQ.
They're like, like... otter-amardillos! Or maybe sandshrew!
*ear-splitting squeal* I agree! It was so easy to level up my Pokemon with the pokewalker when I was in NYC taking about 17,000 steps or so a day...
Well, I celebrated turning a year older yesterday [as it is now the 23rd in my time zone]...and now I feel rather teary-eyed. :(
ARGH! Don't do that to me! When I first read this, I thought you said that you turned 23! Of course, having sent you the chibi birthday PM celebrating an aging of the number 20, I was devastated! And then I got teary-eyed! Of course, then I zoomed about the site checking my PM, your profile, etc. before finally coming back here to read over your post again like I should have done the first time. :animedepr I LOVE PANGOLINS. SO FREAKING CUTE!!!

While in New York, I stopped by the hotel's dining area to eat. My sister ordered some weird special that came with a salad, entree and ice cream. Her entree was something that the chef must have stolen from heaven. It was some sort of pineapple glazed chicken and it was by far the most fantastic thing I had ever tasted! In fact, my sister and I both asked if we could hug the chef, but the waiter, thinking we were just joking, turned away laughing...
So you're the guy who's been baking the small one cakes!
That is no joking matter!:p I finally reported it to my guidance counselor, and later found out that another girl had reported him as well, though her case wasn't nearly as severe as mine. After 5 days of no interenet (damn you, NYC), chibi is back! But whatever. The entire trip went as smoothly as wordly possible! It was as if angels were laying down rose petals through the entire 5 days! Then my family got back at the train station tonight only to find out that my mom had driven over a nail in the crappy parking lot 5 days earlier and we now had a flat. My dad fixed it, though, so all's fine and I'm back home with my beloved puppy dog!
Dear God, it's April and we have summery weather, I believe a barbecue or picnic is in order.
Am I invited?:p Spring break=NYC. Eww. At least I get there via train. I love trains. A lot. You seriously have no idea just how much I adore them. I am a dork and bought the Pokemon X CD so that I could have the Season 1 opening as my theme song when I walked down the halls of my high school. Oh yeah.:smirk:
Now with my improbable theory definitely crushed, I suddenly have this vague urge to write a Pokémon University fanfic. Must... Repress....
Don't. There's too many out there as it is. Don't add to it... I'm very annoyed. I was playing LG last night and did some thinking. I can buy all these different stones at the Celadon Department store. I can't do that in Goldenrod. I have yet to find any type of evolution stone. I hope this changes with the next game...

If you were a rice ball, what flavor would you be?! :D
chibi-master replied to HopefulOTaKu's topic in General Discussion
Is happy-flavored an option? If so, i choose that. If not, salmon. -
why dont you just give me the cake and i will date him. it should work fine since i love cake and i am a somewhat experienced uke player.
You are one of my favorite people forever now. XD It was a little akward with the cake, since he sat me down and insisted on watching me eat it. I took about two bites and just left the cake alone. After he prodded me about eating, I told him about how I do not like eating during the day or in front of others. He then proceeds to pick up the fork I was using and use it himself while sticking his finger in the frosting. Then he starts gushing about how using the fork I used was like an indirect kiss(someone's seen a little too much anime). I came very close to slapping him/running out of there. Still in trouble. Using old strategy for getting to laptop.:animeswea I walked into Global yesterday and found out there was a test to take. I took it, and thinking I would get an 85, got a 100. Yesterday was good. Let's see if today stacks up to it.:animesmil
