My math teacher has a lunch the same period as I do, near the end of the school day. Therefore, she is constantly snacking to hold her hunger off until lunch. Because of the abundance of food in her classroom for snacking, many of it is eaten by students. She often expresses her great annoyance in the fact that so many students seem to rob her of her peanut butter via bringing in sppons and scooping it out of the jar(I don't do this since I hate peanut butter). Tonight I was in the grocery store and I thought of this. .....I bought her a jumbo jar of peanut butter as an apology for the constant thievery that occurs at her expense. I feel like a decent person.
You know, the walk-along feature is pretty awesome. I love to talk to my little Pokémon buddies and get items, and their reactions and interactions with me are just fun.
This sounds like a cheasy commercial about the improvements, but it's just so true...
But there's something not quite as cute about playful frolicking when it's being done by your Beedrill.
._. Ewww. Because I mostly play the game at night, I am quite confident that my Eevee is going to evolve into an Umbreon. I am elated! Planning to carry around Togepi again today. Argh...:animesigh

I have five gym badges because I haven't slept since I got the game. If anything, I was ticked at the spammage of Milk Drink. Every time I got that little b**** Miltank down into the red zone it would magically heal itself. That may be the first time I've ever had trouble with a gym leader...:animedepr My dear Jedidiah (started as a Cyndaquil) is awesome. The fact that I can run around with my Pokemon and then turn around and talk to them makes me happy. The first time I was told that Jed had nudged me, I quivered from the cuteness. When I was then asked if I wanted to nudge it back, I melted. That's just too cool for me...
So Darth Zeitgeist, it occurs to me that them thar "Best of" awards that you promised by the weekend are a little late. As your humble servant, it is my duty to nag you at times like these. Now if you'll excuse me I have a day shift to manage.
Agreed. ._.

I scrambled around the entire school today because of my Pokewalker... I'm trying to get my useless Togepi (Miyuki) to evolve. But Togepi only evolves via FRIENDSHIP POWER(which I can get with the Pokewalker)!!! And during classes I just held the thing and shook it. I'm tired...
BOTH! "coughs" Actually, those elitist fans are the ones I'm having issues with right now. Talking as if they just know any and everything. People should be so grateful I "woosah" a lot :animeswea
.....What happened, if you don't mind my asking?
I'm 1/2 Irish and 1/2 First Nation (American Indian) I believe the reason that St. Patrick's day is so widely celebrated here in the states is because of how we (the Irish) were treated when we first came over to this country in the mid 1800's. Many Irish Americans' ancestors escaped from Ireland with nothing or close to it. They faced a lot of prejudices and adversity in their home country as well. Then when they came to the States they faced more prejudices because they spoke Gaelic or heavily accented English and many- especially from the southern part of the country- were Catholic which lead to more distrust. There were laws against the Irish and NINA signs which stood for No Irish Need Apply and signs that said Dogs and Irish not allowed. If you ever wonder why the stereotypical policeman or fireman is Irish it's because those were the only jobs many Irish men could find. I believe that today celebrating St Patrick's day isn't just about celebrating a saint- it's about celebrating Irish culture and heritage and our history and being proud to be Irish.
I thought it was about the booze. I think some of the only people who realize what the Irish went through are the Irish themselves. I don't think we celebrate it as an apology to an entire group of people. I have sympathy for the Irish, but they weren't the only ones to go through bad things because of where they were from, so why should they have their own "We're sorry for how we treated you!" holiday? I don't mean to sound as rude as I think this seems, but I'm tired of every person I meet nowadays tossing their ancestors' sad tales at me.:animesigh

So it turns out there was enough room to call my Cyndaquil Jedidiah. I am very pleased with this. I hate what my character looks like, however. The hat is bigger than my head...
GameCrazy is opening early. I'm gonna run by and pick it up before Church. If it's a girl, I'm naming my Cyndaquil Grace.
GameStop's doing the same. My Cyndaquil shall be named Jed, short for Jedidiah. If it's a girl, I'm going for Dixie. I'm so excited that I actually forced myself to get up early. I usually never get up before noon on weekends, but...

CaNz, why are there bugs in your restaurant? And CHW, stick with the electric flyswatter. Those things are beautiful! Especially if used on a particularly twitchy spider! *checks around for PETA*

Okay, so I was going to post this in April, but Easter comes early in April, sooo... (Not to mention Chibi #1 PM'd me about this...) What are some of your Easter traditions? Where are you going? Do you enjoy egg hunts? Do you enjoy egg hunts where the person with the least eggs is banished from your native country (miss you lots, Uncle Nardin)? Are you going to get your picture taken with the Easter bunny? Got any funny stories? *MOAR QUESTIONS* I'm probably going to stay at home and wish I was young enough to hunt for eggs. I shall devour a great deal of ham, I assume... Oh yeah, feel free to mention passover stuff as well! Ready, set, POST!

YOU WATER THEM WITH FRIGGIN' ICE CUBES.
DON'T SCARE ME LIKE THAT!!! I thought I'd somehow managed to overlook one of my buddies' birthdays and not send a special chibi birthday PM! I finally beat the Elite Four and my rival. I started at lunch because I wanted to get some experience points for my Raichu, but ended up beating everyone! I has an epic happy! I jumped up in the middle of my computer class and started hooting and hollering about how I'd finally beat my game. I was supposed to be working on an assignment. But I overwhelmed my teacher with an astounding amount of pride and excitment. The conversation went something like this: Me: WOO!!! I DID IT! I! BEAT! YOU! HA! HAHAHA!!! FINALLY!!! *hops up and down, waving DS about* Teacher: Uhm... Ashley? You were supposed to be working on- Me: I DID IT! I'VE HAD THIS GAME FOR THREE YEARS AND THIS IS THE FIRST TIME I'VE EVER STUCK WITH THE FILE LONG ENOUGH TO BEAT THE ELITE FOUR AND MY RIVAL!!! HIGH FIVE, MR. S! *raises hand for a high five* Teacher: I understand that you're happy, but you should have been working on- Me: *lifts his hand up and gives it a high five with my free hand* I'M SO PROUD!!! *sniffle* Teacher: .....Are you...cryi- Me: YES! YES, I AM! *big grin*

One of my friends convinced me to call a psychic hotline for help with my screwed up dreams. Before I could even explain my reason for calling, the lady on the other line says that I'm unnaturally negative and that my family is cursed. She then suggested I pay $120 for a two day medetation period that is supposed to cure my family. I told her that for $120 my family could stay cursed.
