Desk markings of that nature are like a secret and sacred history to students! While I do not condone the vandalization of school property, I must say that this punishment was just WAY to overdone. What's the point? Other students carve crude doodles of male genetilia into some of the desks I've seen at school, so this irritates me. What a waste of the girl's and the police officers' time.

It was created for topics that weren't in-depth enough to have their own thread. What's so bad about that? And truly, I adore that there's a thread where members from all parts of OB to come together and be whimsical. Otherwise, we could never hold normal conversations with other members without spamming a thread or through linear PMs. There is no problem that I see here.:catgirl:

If I find a topic I think is suitable for a thread of its own, then I create one. Simple.

My neighbors have a son that is a senior in my high school. I found this out only after seeing him on my bus home on the first day of school. He stuck his head out the window and yelled to some shrimpy looking kid that's in one of my classes, "*that kid's name* is a *********!" I do not like this word. It is highly offensive and I got angry. I'd have confronted him about it, but couldn't figure out a way to do so without seeming as bad a jerk as he is. Then, he turned to one of his friends and said, "Yeah, that kid owes me a dollar from last year. I told him I'd kick his *** if he didn't have it, but he thinks he's the **** 'cause he's a junior!" At this point, I stood up and said, "That kid is a freshman, genius." That shut him up, at least. He always talks so tough, but it's so hard to take him seriously. You see, my neighbor speaks with a lisp. He substitutes 's' with 'th'. Not very threatening.

A friend of mine sent me an e-card with L on it. And now I have a terrible ache in my stomach begging for sweets... Strawberry shortcake would work wonders right now... My bangs are doing something weird... I woke up this morning and haven't gotten them to stop curling outward since. I look like a complete goofus...:animedepr So i wore a beanie all day. I was elated in my last class of the day when I put my cell phone in my pocket and realized that it fit in there! I took it out to see if I had finally reached my goal of obtaining jeans with actual pockets instead of the LIE pockets discussed a little while ago. I did.:catgirl:
