They gave it to him for his "vision"? He'd been in office for 12 days when they signed him up! I don't think he deserves the prize, really. He hasn't done anything to earn it. What about the other nominees who actually DID something? This seems like an insult to them! You know, I am getting honestly and truly scared about how everyone is trying to make Obama out to be a god. In fact, I'm already thinking of different countries to move to, should this get too bad... (Any suggestions?)

I thought that the bones you had were all you would get. If you broke one, they'd cut it off and replace it with a robot that would eat away at your brain. I thought I could fly like Mary Poppins and jumped off a jungle gym with my open umbrella. I thought I could get rid of failed tests that needed to be signed by putting them under the bed for the monster to eat.

Hmmm? Am I a procrastinator? Well, let's see... I have 2 english assignments, one math assignment and a math test tomorrow that I probably won't study for, a science assignment and an art assignment all due tomorrow. Of course I won't even bother starting the work load until midnight. And it will all be done by class tomorrow. And I will get immaculate grades on everything I turn in. I believe I have truly perfected the art of procrastination here.

Running around the woods without my much needed glasses which I'm legally blind without can be very much like running through a surreal painting. Until I run into a blurry tree face first. Yeah. That sorta sucked. Just bought the first volume of Yotsuba&! today. That book is going on a pedestal in the middle of my room from now on. Late edit because my internet is being craptastic: Ace, a downfall implies that I have a place to fall from.

Boo wins. Ah yes, apparently, making the mistake of a five year old (cutting my own bangs because I was too lazy to ask for help of any sort), is not a good idea. My bangs are too short now, and wearing a hat only seems to point that out even more. Dangit.

The vast majority of those who have posted in this thread would be/ seem to be great parents... It would seem that there is indeed hope for my generation, albeit slim.

In my Latin class, we will all be doing work, but at the same time we debate about zombies, including the teacher. So far we have figured put that the kid next to us will die first. Me, the guy in front of me, and the guy's older brother are going to live the longest. It's our favorite subject as well as actually learning Latin. I had the worst dream... My belt testing. I forgot every kata I have ever learned. Woke up screaming.

That creep needs to serve his time, whatever profession he's in. I don't understand why ANYONE would think that he should be overlooked simply for being "famous".

Maya trudged slowly through the snow. The scraps were on edge, which in turn made her nervous. Not even thinking about anything other than the scraps' behavior, she focused only a tad bit on putting one foot in front of the other. Her stomach let out a low growl. She hadn't eaten in a while, but she was not about to whine to anyone about this. Ignoring her stomach, she kept on walking, trying to figure out what had the scraps acting so odd. "...I hope it isn't that factory or anything...but I think it might be...," she whispered to herself. Pushing the thoughts out of her head, she tried to think about something other than the scraps or food.
