Maya was skipping through the snow next to Heat. "Snowballs are fun, Heat! But they have such a simple name! Such wonderful things should have a better name! Like, happy-funtime-spheres! Yeah! That's what I'll call them from now on!" Maya gasped. "Maya is creative!" Heat replied. "Indeed, Maya! Your young cranium seems to be filled to the brim with such fantastical ideas, yet they continue to flow! How admirable!" Vangelios chimed in without warning. "Oh, hi! Hey, you seem very excited about this, huh, Vangelios?" Maya giggled. "Oh, most certainly! I am sure it is my destiny to aid everyone here in any way that I possibly can! And I will do so with great enthusiasm!" the scrap proclaimed with a dramatic pose. Maya blinked at him for a moment. "Yeah!" she squeaked, imitating the pose. Heat glanced at the two in a confused manner, then he too tried to copy the pose. "Maya! You, Heat and Vangelios, stop playing around and get moving!" Ishild warned. "Okaaay!!!" Maya called back, picking up her pace.

Maya was in the room shoving a few things into a sack she had fitted into a backpack for scavenging. "Maya, what do you think you're doing?! You can't go with them, it's too dangerous!" Ishild gasped. "But Ishi! I want to go! I want to help! I don't want to stay here and die here! I can't do anything here! Everyone's always telling me how dangerous things are, but I want to DO something! And you know what, Ishi? I think you do, too! I think you're tired of waking up everyday to do a thankless job and live a boring life! I think you want to do something that will make you happy! You don't have to take this opportunity, Ishi, but I will. I'm going to help them. Bye, Ishi. I'll see you there, if you decide to come. I love you!" Maya said cheerfully, hugging Ishild and scurrying out of the room to meet up with Archimedes.

Fox and Hilde carefully approached the three figures. There were two boys and one girl. They heard the girl talking about her abilities. "She doesn't SOUND lika an agent," said Hilde. Fox nodded and together they stepped up to the three Alphas. "Hey there!" Fox said. Immediately all three Alphas turned toward him and Hilde. The girl was eyeing the water and the boys were crouching defensively. "Whoa, whoa, wait a minute! We aren't Topotech agents! My name's Fox and this is... Y'know, I never did catch your name." "It's Hilde. And I'm not an agent, either you guys!" "How are we supposed to believe you?" the boy behind the one that was talking to the girl said. "Would a Topotech agent be completely naked?" Fox asked, pointing to Hilde. "Or would an agent be running away from an agent they just took down? 'Cause that's our situation!" The other three Alphas were silent for a bit. "Uh, saaay... How about we start this off by saying our names and abilities, huh?" Fox suggested. "Here, I'll start! The name's Fox. My actual name is Finch Foster. I have the ability to control gravity! Okay, who's next?!"

Maya was just leaving the mess hall after attempting to make cocoa by mixing different things laying around in the kitchen cabinets. She was skippind around when she heard Archimedes' voice. He was talking about going on a trip! Maya leaped around the corner and jumped at Duo and Archimedes. "A TRIP! OH! I'M COMING, TOO!" Maya squealed. "You most certainly are NOT!" Archimedes gasped. "It is going to be FAR too darngerous for someone of your age!" "But Duo's going! And she's really young!" Maya argued. "I'm a responsible adult. YOU are seven, and genius or not, it's not safe for you!" Duo replied. Duo and Archimedes were having a hard time arguing with an insisting child and holding Duo's shirt up to the spraying oil. "BUT I WANT TO GO!" Maya whined loudly. "The answer is NO, child!" Archimedes sighed. "If you don't let me go, I'm going to sneak after you guys somehow anyway! Wouldn't it then be safer for me to come along with you? Besides, the chances are, according to the records of kids my age, that I will die here in the next 2 years, whether it be from the cold, my scavenging tag-alongs, or from accidents around the Skycleaner itself! I want to go with you guys! Hey, are you getting all of this?" Maya asked. "You don't even know what we're going for!" said Duo. "I don't care! I want to come with you guys! LET ME, PLEEEASE?!" Maya begged.

I have branded myself as a dork before school even started. At orientation today we were asked what we thought was the percentage of graduates of the school that went on to college. My answer? "IT'S OVER NINE THOUSAAAND!!!" I wonder how many people got that...

Maya and Zlota finally reached the sled. But much to Maya's dismay, Boris was right next to the sled, looking very angry that a certain child genius was currently out in the wastelands. "Maya...," he growled. Maya ran up to him and attached herself to his leg with a hug. "I-! I-! Th-there was-! B-buh!" Maya whimpered. Boris' eyes widened as he looked down akwardly at the small child. "Maya, what IS it?!" he demanded. "B-b-body! Dead guy! Soldier under the snow a-and b-b-blue skin a-and! Are you getting all of this?" Maya blubbered. "Dead soldier?! DAMN IT, MAYA, THIS IS [I]EXACTLY[/I] WHY KIDS YOUR AGE ARE NOT ALLOWED ON THESE TRIPS!!!" Boris shouted, looking up at the sky in frustration. "Okay! We're heading back now! Hurry your butts up!" The rest of the scavengers gathered and they made their way back to the Skycleaner.

Fill the mug halfway with boiling or near-boiling water, then add milk until the rest of the mug is filled. Add 15 tablespoons of sugar and mix well. For some interesting flavor, add some cinnamon sugar and whipped cream on the top! Comments: This will give you the experience of being as hyper as I am! Also, the milk makes the hot chocolate richer and brings the temperature down to a drinkable level. Enjoy, if you have the guts to put that much sugar into your body!:catgirl:

But, like my other abilities, I can only use it when naked," Hilde explained. "I was about to ask about that...," Fox mumbled. "Thank you for helping me, by the way!" "No problem!" Suddenly a voice shouted out to them. "Stop, right there!" called out yet another redhead. "Oh, shit! Topotech agent!" Fox cursed. Fox held out his hand and sent the agent bashing into the ground, unable to move even a finger to pull the trigger of her gun. Fox saw something flutter around her. He cautiously made his way toward the agent. "What are you doing?! We need to get out of here!" Hilde hissed at him. "I just wanna check something...," Fox replied, now standing in front of the agent. He picked up the fluttery thing, a picture of two adults and a baby. "Is this your family? I thought agents were supposed to be devoid of this kinda emotion. You sure you made the right career choice, little lady?" Fox wondered aloud. "DON'T TOUCH THAT!!!" the agent shrieked, struggling against Fox's gravity. Fox raised his eyebrows. "Okay, okay! I'm putting it down right here... See? I won't touch it. Now, my friend and I better be going. If you follow us, I'm going to take you down again and I'll see to it that your picture meets a gruesome end. Cruel, I know, but you brought this upon yourself." Fox grabbed Hilde's arm and started bounding down the dirt road again. "Come on! I can't keep the gravity on her there for much longer!" Down the road, Fox and Hilde could see three silhouettes. "Great, more company?" Hilde groaned. "They might be Topotech agents. Let's approach with caution...," Fox whispered.

Maya was digging through the snow, looking for anything worth scavenging. She was in an area that had a cliff near it. She knew this was once a campsite for soldiers during the war long ago. So far she had found a few rusty spoons and chunks of leather that were probably once a pair of soldier boots. "Zlota, there's not much left here...," Maya sighed, kicking the snow a little. Zlota kept still, standing behind Maya to keep the cold wind from blasting the child. "Hey! What's this thing?" Maya asked herself, picking a small, cold metal box that filled both her palms. She opened it, with some diffuculty and saw an arrow and some letters. "Hey, Zlota! It's a compass! Let's go take this stuff back!" Maya suggested. Suddenly, Maya heard a crackling sound. She looked up at the cliff and saw the edge of it falling toward her. Maya's eyes widened and her grip on the scavenged goods tightened. Then, Maya felt herself lifted off the ground. Wind was hitting her in the face for a short while. When Maya opened her eyes again, she saw she was being held up by Zlota. They were now about 3 yards away from the big chunk of rock that was resting where Maya was standing. The cliff piece had created somewhat of a crater where it had landed. Maya shakily made her way toward the rock. There was still snow on the frozen ground surrounding the cliff chunk, but Maya could see a lumpy thing under some of it. She walked up next to the lumpy thing and brushed away the thick layer of snow on top of it. "AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIEEEEEEEE!!!!!" Maya screamed, quickly backing away from the lump. It was the frozen body of a dead soldier, his eyes now dark holes and his skin blue and clinging to his face. Hearing the scream, Zlota once again yanked Maya up and away from the perceived threat. "Zlota, I want to go back to the sled now...," Maya whimpered. Zlota immediately began making her way back the the sled.

Fox closed his eyes and hovered his hand over the wires. The wires started to crunch up. Fox opened his eyes to see if his plan had worked. The wires were done for, that's for sure. Suddenly, a loud sound of metal wrenching from metal filled Fox's ears. Fox turned to look at the right arm of the suit, the one making the sound. Then, the arm shot right off the rest of the prison, taking Hilde's arm with it. Hilde let out an ear-splitting shriek as her arm was ripped from her body. Her blood pressure plumetted almost immediately, killing her. "NO! ...Oh, no...what the hell have I done?!" Fox sobbed. ____________________________________________________________________ Okay, don't be worried! Remember Hilde's abilities? This is all according to plan!:animesmil
