Maya was sitting in the mess hall with the two scraps. Watered down coffee was their tea, and the teacups were the regular dented metal mugs everyone used. "Wow, you must have been sleeping for a reeeally long time! I've never seen a dress like yours! It's all frilly and nice, albeit dusty. You know, I've never really had a tea party with anyone before. Can you believe that? You'd think that the normal little girl activity being tea parties, I'd have already played it with some other kids! But I don't, 'cause they just don't understand what I try to talk to them about! I suppose that's the price to pay for being a genius... Besides, those kids usually don't stay very long. They always go "somewhere else". At least that's what the adults tell me, but I know that what really happens is those kids are dead! Dead as dead can be! That's because they always freeze or starve or some thing, hey, Rose, are you getting all of this?" "Yes, I am, Maya," Rose answered. "Hey, what's wrong? You sound sad!" "It's a shame that so many young ones must perish because of that awful war..." "Yeah, I guess so, huh?" Maya sighed, shaking her mug back and forth to look at her "tea". Suddenly, Maya's head shot up toward the mess hall entrance. Zlota was making her way to the table where the tea party was being held. "Oh! Sorry, I have to leave now! I'm going scavenging! I'm not supposed to, because I'm so small, but I alwas hide in Zlota's sled and we go and find great things sometimes! Bye, Rose, bye, Heat!" Maya giggled as she ran to Zlota.

Fox was still bounding next to the metal suit, thinking about how to get the girl free. "Don't worry, hon, I'll figure out somethin'! But I ain't gonna kill ya'!" "Wait, you don't understand-!" "No buts! I don't wanna hear it!" Fox examined the suit. "First of all, let's get it to stop movin' so fast!" Fox shot his hand out toward the mobile prison and closed his eyes. Suddenly, both he and the suit came to a halt. Fox was in the middle of a leap and crashed into the ground. "What happened?!" the girl gasped. Fox jumped up and brushed himself off. "It IS a little hard to decrease my own gravity while increasing the gravity around your suit, y'know... It wa a little confusing, so I let go of the decrease... Now let's take a look, shall we...," Fox huffed, walking up next to the suit. The metal prison groaned as it tried to move forward. ".....Hey, how far is your arm in there, girly?" "Not very. And don't call me that..." "Hmm... I think I got an idea...," Fox mumbled, ignoring the last sentence. Fox walked around to the back of the suit and studied the wires. "Okay, I'm going to increase the gravity until the pressure causes these things to snap. I've never tried this, so tell me if anything happens that's out of the ordinary, m'kay, girly?"

Have I mentioned that he loves to harass my poor dog and took my precious Pikachu plushie without asking... (Yes, my dear aunt, I DID notice it missing, thank you very much...) And my aunt spent an insane amount of time hovering over my dog pointing at him and telling him to sit, regardless of me informing her that he does not sit on command. OVER AND OVER. And my poor dog was just staring up at her looking like he was about to pee himself the entire time! *pets my doggy, who is laying next to me*

My little cousin is visiting along with his mom, my aunt... I am being constantly reminded of why I have such a strong distaste for children. ESPECIALLY ill-mannered loudmouths who have been shown no dicipline throughout their short little lifespans... Also, now I know just how much I hate the sound of the "BOMP! BOMP! BOMP!" of little feet running in the hallways combined with their owner's wails of nonsensical jibberish... And the repetition of EVERY WORD IN A SIMPLE SENTENCE while said sentence seems to be breaking the sound barrier... Ex. Cousin: "Cou-! C-! Cousin A-ashley! I-! I-! I-! I w-was wa-watching a-a-a mov-movie a-and y-you kn-know wh-wha-what?! I-it wa-was a-a-all *insert irritating sound effects coming from a 7 year old's mouth here*!!!"[/scream] Me: ".......Reeeeealllllyyy....."[/half-a**ed interested voice] Cousin: "Y-! U-uh-huh! *insert more babbling about the FRIGGIN' POLAR EXPRESS! ESPECIALLY WHEN THE TRAIN WAS ON THE ICE, OH GAWD, DON'T LEAVE [B]THAT[/B] AWESOME SCENE OUT!*[/wail] Me: "........." [/rant]

Maya yawned as she sat up in her bed. She immediately regreted doing so as she was greeted by cold air. Shivering, Maya put on a turtleneck sweater that was so long on her it could pass as a dress. She liked this particular sweater because it was green, the color the world was said to be before the never-ending winter set in. Maya shoved on her parka and boots and jumped over to Ishild's bed. She grabbed Ishild's arm and began shaking it back and forth. "Ishi! Ishi! Ishi!" Maya whined. "Huhm...?" Ishild groaned, rolling over to face Maya. "Ishi! It's time to wake up! I know because I always wake up EXACTLY when it's time to wake up! And you know what, Ishi?! That means you're already behind, because you just woke up now and NOT exactly when it was time to wake up like me, Ishi! Hey, Ishi, are you getting all of this?" "Maya, Maya! I got it; I'm up!" Ishild groaned, pulling on a thick sweater. "Hey, Ishi! I was thinking, can I help you with your morning task? Please?! I know I'm too young to have one, but don't you think my mental capacity makes up for the age gap?" "No, I do not. Now go eat breakfast and stay away from dangerous things until I call you for scavenging, okay?" "Okay... Can I go visit Mr.Archimedes?" "Sure, I guess, long as you don't bother him." "Alright then!" Maya said with a smile, scurrying out the door to get breakfast.

"Calil!" Karyn gasped. Out of the corner of her eye she saw the over-sized flaming demon's claws come scraping toward her. Karyn ducked and rolled right out the hole, now seeing the gigantic demon in full. "Uh! Uhm! G-get some water or something!(?)" Karyn shouted. Leaping out of the way of another flaming limb, Karyn glanced up at the demon. "You better have ears up there..." Karyn growled before letting out an ear-splitting howl. The demon writhed a bit before sending akick soaring toward Karyn. She tried to dodge again, but she was just a little too slow. The claws scraped her back as she was sent flying into the side of the hotel, near the hole where the wall used to be. Karyn struggled to lift herself back up, but her back was aching, seeing as the claws were also on fire like the rest of the demon. "D-dawner! Water spell; know one?!" Okay, I was getting pretty worried about my knee. I thought I might actually have to get it looked at... So to save myself the trouble, I tried to fix it myself!:catgirl: I stuck my right leg out to the side and spun it around in a circular motion. There was a cracking sound and so I stopped. But you know what? MY KNEE IS HEALED. I can't feel any pain whatsoever! It's perfectly fine now! YAY!!!

Finch "Fox" Foster was having a pefectly nice dream about his family when he fell out of the tree he was sleeping in. Pulling himself up from the dewy ground, he had to put some effort into remembering where he was. "That's right...I'm in that creepy abandoned park...," Fox mumbled. Alphas often had to stay in out-of-the-way places like that, so Fox was used to sleeping in uncomfortable nooks and crannies. It was about 7:30 in the morning, and there was a light fog laying over the small town. "We~ell, I better get outta here before the agents show up or somethin'!" Fox yawned, a big grin stretching across his face as he finished the sentence. And with that, he began bounding away down an old country road. Fox was sitting on a stump on the side of the dirt road, eating some beef jerky when he heard the sound. It was a loud, metallic, "BOOM" with a steady rythm. "What the heck is that?" Fox muttered, rising from his seat. Following the sound, he made his way through the fog until he found what was making the noise. It was an enormous, walking robot thing with a girl inside, a [I]naked[/I] girl! The girl lifted her head up and glanced at the red-headed boy that barely even had to try to keep up with the robot suit. "H-how are you doing that?" the girl called out to Fox. "Gravity manipulation, sweetheart! It's like walkin' on the moon! So why're you in that thing?" Fox answered. "You're an Alpha, too?!" "Yep! Now answer the question, please!" "Topotech put me in this thing! I can't use my abilities in it! It's going to a study center!" "Need some help?" Okay! You have all put in some fabulous auditions! You are all accepted, by the way! Now then, this is the backstage area where we can do all sorts of fun stuff! Frst, let me establish some things. 1.) Alphas that have not been captured usually group together because it improves their chance of survival. So those of us who are free will probably flock together. If anyone says that birds of a feather phrase, I will wound you. 2.) Topotech agents will go to extreme lengths to complete their missions. Also, you are trained to spot weakness or hesistance in other agents and terminate them if necessary. Which it usually is. This means that if you have a change of heart, you must be VERY careful around other agents. 3.) Lilt's character is in a mobile prison suit that is on its way to a Topotech study center. Our first order of business will be to meet when we try to help her. Those of you who are agents, you do not have to comply with that at all. 4.) Tetra will be out for a few days, so we will all excuse her absence. This means there will be no toleration for whiny PMs of "OMG WHY TETRA NOT HERE SHE SO NOT DEDICATED OMGWTFROFLCOPTER". Got it, everyone? Good!:animesmil I will start the RPG at around 10 or so tonight, so be prepared!

I have been able to successfully refrain from limping! And I asked my Dad about what happens to a knee when it gets hit from the side... He said it doesn't heal and that the joint would need to be replaced. I'm a bit skeptical, though. Yeah, I still haven't told my parents about this, but between my sister breaking her ankle and my Dad getting mild celulitis, I just CAN NOT get injured right now. Not to mention my mom said she'd make me quit karate if I ever got injured there... And that will NOT happen.

Gaaah...my knee got even worse... It hurts to bend or lift it and my foot's sort of pointing out at a weird angle... But I think I'll still push myself and go to sparring tonight...probably...:animesigh

...Whoa... I just zoned out... Seriously, I was WAAAY out there... And from that came probably the greatest piece of art I have ever put on paper... Just...WOW... Also, I just read a quote that was very amusing: "DON'T HIT KIDS. No. Seriously. They carry guns now."

Okay, you're all accepted! I'll leave the auditions open for a few more days, but I plan on starting this RPG up either tomorrow or Thursday. Yes, I know that's pretty quick, but I'm still on summer vacation and I want something to do, dangit!:animeswea

Argh...my stupid knee hurts! Someone in Karate tried to sweep me and ended up jabbing his heel into the side of my knee area. It hurt just a little, but now it's aching so badly!!! XC Also, I just had an enormous strike of inspiration and spent the last hour or so sketching and then inking in some really nice drawings... *is happy*
