When I'm by myself I dance in front of mirrors, I sing really loud, and I talk to myself. I act like a complete idiot because I know that no one else is watching. :D

If there were only women in this world...
Baby Kiwi replied to BabyGirl's topic in General Discussion
 No one is getting this topic! Bah! It was such a good conversation too! What BG and I were talking about was that "What if women, who are asexual, (even if they are asexual we're still calling them women!) were the only gender on the world, would there be wars?" My answer would be no, there would be no wars. BG brought up the point that women do not have the same desire as men do to hold power. The only reason for war is that one party wants domination over the other party. Men have been in domination ever since the beginning of the human race. (There have been some exceptions to this though, but dominating women are not very common.) If you look back in history at all the wars, they are caused mainly by disputes of power. One race, nation, or culture wants to dominate another. Usually these have been ruled by men. That is why I think that there would be no war. Women do not want power the same way that men do. They do not solve things by violence either, they usually compromise and talk with whomever they are disputing with. (I'm sorry if you disagree with me, I am only expressing BG's and my opinion) -
Originally posted by Frankie5 Angels I can't belive it.Thats where I went to school last year. They have a great music program.I hope for your sake you don't have to stay in the tower dorms. Anyways,i'm off to MSU this semester. Have fun at CMU! p.s.If you have any questions for me about the school ,don't be afraid to ask.
I'm staying in Herrig Hall. Thank God I'm not staying in the Towers. I'd be screwed. I know they have a really good music program, but I'm thinking of going into their teaching programs. It's the best program in Michigan. Are you going to march in the State Marching Band? They're awesome. I love to watch them!

I'm going off to college at Central Michigan University this fall, and I was wondering if any of you older Otaku members had any advice for those of us who are going to college. Do I need to bring anything specific? Is there anything that I should or shouldn't do? Advice please! :twitch:

I just remembered another story! One of me being soo dumb! I was out with my boyfriend, Matt. We had time to spare before we went to see a movie so we decided to go out to eat. We ended sitting by a window with a light outside. I was looking outside waiting for our food to be delivered and I realized that there were tons of little 'things' flying about the light. I merely thought they were bugs, since bugs are attracted to lights, so I said to Matt, "Look at all of the bugs flying around that light!" Matt started looking at me like I had grown a second head, then he said, "Those arent bugs, theyre snowflakes." He just started lauging hysterically at me. I was so embarassed I put my head in my hands and stayed that way until our food got there. I felt like a dumb *** for saying that.

My most embarrasing moment involves a cakepan and cheerleading tryouts. One of the cheerleaders passed away from leukemia so the other cheerleaders were asked to donate cakes for her funeral. During tryouts, my coach passed the pans back to those who donated them. They were sitting all over the floor. When it was my turn to go in and try out, I realized that i forgot a piece of paper that i was supposed to turn in to my coach. I ran back to where I had put my things and as soon as I turned back to run back into the room to try out, I stepped on one of the cake pans and tumbled to the ground severely spraining my ankle. Needless to say, I did make the team. Oh, another girl that made the team broke her butt the next day of tryouts doing the splits.

I was just wondering, what are your biggest pet peeves? (sorry if I spell that wrong! :twitch: ) I was wondering this since there are many things that annoy the crap out of me! Mainly, though, when people say 'melk' instead of milk. They say it like elk instead of ilk. People bug me when they bite their fingernails. I also hate whiny people. Especially my sister! Ick! Those are my biggest pet peeves! :help:

This is really cool! In the Middle-earth I was an intelligent ghost. My feminine Elvin name is Vanwaaldaiel, and my Hobbit lass name is Primrose Hill from Brandy Hall. :D

I'm from the car capital of the nation. (Not Detroit, where those icky Fords are made) I am all for Chevy and GM made cars! I dont care what other people say about American made cars, I happen to think they are the best! :p
Originally posted by BabyGirl Dizzamn...if I had the picture of my teams' toe-touch during competition I would scan and post it. Unfortunately, I don't have it in my posession at the moment...otherwise I would let you see what a beautiful toe-touch (yes I'm bragging about my [old] team) looks like.
Aaah, yes. 'The' toe touch. It is beautiful! You should scan a piccy of stunting. Maybe the end stunt. That looks like the most impressive. Maybe one of bwo or bhs too! (if they dont look that bad.) Our [old] team was awesome!

I am also another one of the cheerleaders at the boards. If the cheerleaders at your school are good, you may want to consider gymnastics (that is, if you make the team) gymnastics are crucial. But above all, your motions are the most important thing. Concentrate on 'hitting' your motions. Flex all of the muscles in your arms so that you cant move them anymore. Voice is also key. Don't scream at the top of your lungs, yell like you are yelling at a younger brother or sister. From your stomach, not your throat. You should also smile and have fun with it. I happen to think cheering is very fun. Keep up with your stretching and dont pull anything. Good luck with tryouts! ;)

I'm really glad that Sydney P. (Im not even going to attempt spelling his last name) got the lifetime achievement award, he has always been an excellent actor, and has been a leading actor for the minorities ever since he started out! I am a bit dissapointed with the Best Actor Oscar, though. I think it should have gone to Will Smith. I'm not saying that Denzel is a bad actor, but I think Will deserved it more for taking on such a role. Best movie, I think, should have gone to Moulin Rouge because of its originality. The costumes, the sets and the music should have put it over the top, but I guess the SAG would not acree with me. A Beautiful Mind was a good movie, however, like BG said, it is too cliche.

BabyGirl, I am so ashamed! I got a 71 on your friend test! I'm an awful person! I'm spending too much time with Matthew! You should try my quiz now! http://BabyKiwi.friendtest.com

I love that show! I dont know anyone on it, but I have seen some of the stunts that they have done, done in front of me. I went up to Central Mich U. to visit a friend, and saw some guys that were hideously drunk pushing each other into bushes in shopping carts at a Wal-Mart parking lot. It was hilarious! :rotflmao: -
I have both glasses and contacts. I have had glasses since the 2nd grade, but recieved contacts in the 7th grade. (I'm currently in the 12th grade.) Contacts are so much better than glasses! You dont have to worry about them getting broken or in the way. The only bad thing about contacts are that you have to put them in in the morning and take them out when you go to bed. :cross:

I used to watch that show all the time, or at least when I could. I've only seen the first season, and a couple episodes of the most recent season. I must agree with you. The quality of the show has gone way down since the first season. All of the girls on the most recent season are little skanks! Like the skanky sophomore girls in my school. BabyGirl and Goddess21 and Sexyjessie4 would know what I'm talking about... :p

I am going to have to say Duke is going to win it all. Even though I am a die-hard State fan (Michigan State, that is. Go Green!) MSU does suck this year. :flaming: They have missed their chance losing the Big10 tournament. I think Duke is the unbeatable team this year. They will take it all in the end! Go Devils! :demon:

I have always been taught to believe that love is a decision, rather than a feeling. You decide to be with a person for their accomplishments and their faults. Whatever comes with that person, you take, and deal with. (In my opinion) Some may mistake love for caring greatly, or infatuation with a specific person. I, personally, love my boyfriend. For all the mistakes that he has made in his life, whether they are concerning me or not, I have accepted. I take him for who he is. I love him a great deal. :love2: I love you too Baby Girl! We're best buds!

You just need to get some 'balls' to go up and talk to the guys! (You could have had Mike Romblom! hahaha! Dont hate me! I'm only kidding!) :rotflmao: -
Originally posted by BabyGirl Yes. I have an 'ex' friend (she was really really annoying) who was very pretty and guys liked her for that. Only thing is, she's the dumbest person I know...! She still acts like a 4 year old, and it's not funny or cute or whatever. It's annoying! But of course, guys can't get past her pretty face to figure out that she's a complete idiot -__-
It's just so hard being beautiful! :rotflmao: She is a four year old! Only in an 18 year old body. Stop the highlighting BG, just stop the highlighting! -
Originally posted by shibatku WHAT!!!!!!!! Homosexual males are close to perfect?? I don't know what world your living in but howcan a homosexual be close to perfect??? No on is perfect and thats a fact no is close to being perfect you are who you are. No-one can say they're close to perfect with-out lieing.
The reason why I said that is because gay men are usually more sensitive, understanding, and caring than straight men. At least in my OPINION. Dont go off on me just for stating an opinion. And don't be so judgemental! -
I have never seen a Broadway play, but I do get to go see The Lion King in several weeks. I'm kinda excited! :raspberry:

Sorry boys, but there is NO such thing as the perfect man. If you think you are perfect...that's really sad. What boggles me the most about guys is that they cannot discuss anything with anyone. They bottle up their emotions and break things when it gets too complicated for them. I guess guys could say the same thing about girls because when stress becomes too apparent, we cry and vent to anyone or anything that is around us...heh heh. (Oh, sorry BG, we weren't making out! He was giving me a hug.) To all the homosexual males out there...you are the closest thing to being the perfect guy! (At least in my opinion) :smooch: -
I love cartoons! :love2: Some of my favorites are: *Spongebob Squarepants *Dexter's Laboratory *Powerpuff Girls *Tom and Jerry
