I'm still addicted to my Animal Crossing: Wild World game. I have been playing a little Diablo II Lord of Destruction on the side (Indi got me started on that game) but I've mainly been playing Animal Crossing.^^ I don't know why that game is so addicting. But not only is it fun to play, but now that I have access to visit other people, I love doing that too.

I have no way of attending so I really hope someone captures it on video and puts it up on youtube. I am very curious to see how that works out. I'm hoping a good discussion comes out of it instead of pointless bickering.

Behold, I have been completely flabbergasted. . . . . At least it is of the religion I belong to. I swear... some of it makes no sense whatsoever. O_O I'm not kidding either. Some members will argue that such things are real where others will argue that they aren't. I'm sitting on the side thinking... make up your minds already!!! XP Silly people! :catgirl: So religion = people who are constantly confused about what they believe or don't believe! *is shot many times*

If only religions operated on the same reasoning.
If they did, then they wouldn't be a religion now would they. =P Anyway, I don't really believe in those type of videos. Usually those kind of things turn out to be fake. About the only fun in them is seeing how the trick was done.

Well since no one else did... I got them into the pod and ready to launch. So that leaves it up to someone else to actually launch the pod and get them to the ship. I hope that works.^^ I thought about having them dock with the Von Braun, but I didn't want to exclude others from having a chance to play a part in that.

Viktor was not surprised, he shared the same worry as well. It had taken the group quite a bit of time to figure out how to first climb down into the shaft where the remaining pods were located so they could connect one of the tunnels to the escape pod. Then they had manually opened the launch door before heading back down through the tunnel to climb into the pod itself. There was no means to detach the tunnel before launching, other than to release the clamps from the inside. If one of them didn't release like it should have... they had to trust that the momentum from the launch would pull the craft free. If it didn't... "Don't worry Katelyn," Viktor smiled reassuringly. "If we have to, we'll contact the ship so they'll come and pick us up." "I wouldn't be too sure of that." It was Mr. Azure, the journalist. "We didn't disable the distress beacon for nothing after all. I doubt they'd hesitate to destroy the escape pod to cover their tracks." The rest of the group that had gathered in the tiny control room for the escape pod looked a bit uneasy at that statement from Azure, and considering what they had found, it was understandable. "Oh now you're being silly." Natalia snapped a bit. "Honestly all these silly conspiracy theories are getting old." "I wouldn't call the pictures I got silly." James said evenly. "If they were so silly then why lie about something like what we saw?" Natalia scoffed. "It's one thing to not tell the public about a discovery like that and yet another to outright murder others to hide the truth. It's not like our government is willing to do what that group Terra Prime has." "But can you be certain of that?" Zahir said softly. "Why don't we worry about that after we've launched?" Ilona interrupted, sounded a bit annoyed. "The longer we stand here discussing it, the more likely it is that we won't make it. Why don't we wait to worry over that when and if it actually happens?" "You're right," Natalia agreed before sighing slightly and turning to Azure who was working with the controls to the escape pod. "So are you about ready to launch then?" "Yeah, just give me a couple more minutes and we'll be off." "In that case I suggest we all find a seat." Gael turned and left the tiny control room to head for the next room with seats for passengers to strap in for launch. Clarke looked at the group and then nodded before turning to do the same. A moment later Natalia, Ilona and Katelyn followed him. Viktor looked over at James who shrugged and took one of the remaining seats in the tiny control room next to Adam. For a brief moment Viktor hesitated and then he took the other seat next to Adam and started strapping himself in. "Right, now that we got that settled," Adam looked grim. "Let?s get this show on the road. I have no desire to stay stuck on this abandoned rock."

I make BLT's about once every four months. I find bacon to give me headaches, like chocolate.
That would be no fun, to get a headache from bacon. XP On the topic of bacon, I like BLT's too, though I don't make them very often. Mainly because bacon is so fattening. I like to toast the bread since that gives it an extra snap that I really enjoy. I also will cook a few strips of bacon and cut them up to add to homemade soup and Crockpot recipes for the flavor aspect. It really adds a nice touch to certain dishes. Oh and I like to put little bacon bits on salads too.^^

I don't know if you've resolved this or not, but I agree with Sara.
Fact: Dumping someone expressly to go out with someone else is a jerk of a thing to do. Fact: If you're constantly thinking about the other young woman in this situation, it's not fair to your current girlfriend. I think you need to put your relationships on hold and reevaluate what you want before you continue to lead either of these young ladies on.
You really do need to put things on hold until you figure out what you really want. The advise may seem a bit harsh, but look at it this way, would you want someone going out with you if they were constantly thinking of someone else and considering dumping you for the other person? I know I wouldn't so I certainly wouldn't do that to someone else. Anyway, best of luck getting that sorted out.

Like others have said, I don't think good self esteem makes you smarter, it just makes you not give up. You keep trying instead of feeling like it's the end of the world if you fail. It doesn't mean doing bad is fun or good, it just means you don't let it stop you. Personally I think good self esteem is something that needs to come from the home not from one's teacher. So though I can understand why they want kids to feel better about themselves, I don't think it's a teacher's job to attend to that.

Everyone I've met at college who drinks and has some Asian decent does what you are talking about Raiha. They get that flushed look as if they are sunburned. I've also seen that among others too but usually for them it's not as prominent.

The biggest thing I've noticed around here is people dropping the "r" out of words, like saying geen instead of green. o_O I had an English teacher who would verbally smack you if you did that though so I lost that habit pretty quick. Probably the biggest or weirdest slang for me is the lack of swearing. If you're serious about your faith, you don't do it. So people end up using something else instead. Like FINE! Instead of the F-word. I've heard some really odd phrases that make no sense when people make something up instead. XP Oh and saying "you guys" is pretty standard instead of other things like y'all. And the debate over soda or pop doesn't really exist since I hear both all the time. =P

So, what are your views on the subject? Do you agree or disagree about banning gay and lesbian people in the army?
I don't agree with or consider gay/lesbian tendencies acceptable, though that's for religious reasons and a different topic altogether. However, I also don't agree with banning since that's a form of discrimination in my opinion. Plus my same religious upbringing also says you have to make your own choices so to a certain extent, it's not my place to tell people they can't serve because of their sexual preferences. >_> My opinion is not widely held though, at least not among those I know in the same faith. Also, it's not outright said, but it is expected that one vote against rights for gays and lesbians whenever something comes up on the ballot. I don't agree with that though since that's no different than voting against someone's religion as well.

This makes me wonder if they really should have bothered with the attempt to be a man if they are going to turn around and have a baby anyway. I don't think it's an abomination, but I do see it as being very confusing for the kid growing up. In this case I agree with James, if someone is going to do something like this, they need to be evaluated to make sure they're making the right choice and are mentally prepared. I'm not sure how you would do that though, or rather what standards would be used to consider the person ready for the change. Or if they really needed it or not. XP

Well putting aside the obvious choice of the Zelda games one of my newest favorite games is Animal Crossing: Wild World. I got the game about a month ago and it's oddly addicting. I play it every single day just about since I never seem to get tired of fishing, watering, planting, letters, running errands and so forth. Plus I just love having others visit my town or visiting theirs. Even if I only visit one person right now. XD It's still a lot of fun though and I just know I'm going to end up playing it every day for a while to come. It's too much fun. I'd definitely say I got my money's worth when I got this game. :catgirl:

I decided (based on the history) that humans, if fed upon... would be considered tainted or rather their aura's would feel off to a Shinigami. It's possible that those who are mentally subverted might feel off too, I'm not sure on that one. I also saw the others as not being all that concerned that the humans were dealt with. I talked to Sir Allamorph about that, but not the rest of you. So if Lucia or Alex would have objected to that, let me know and I'll edit my post to reflect that.

Irreversible Taint ?Just walk up and talk to them?? Phaidra muttered to herself. ?About what though?? She let her feet continue taking her up the road to where the gate was located, the sharp scent of pine filled the air and the twinkle of stars could be seen even with the lights from the resort shining brightly into the night. A few minutes later and she was close enough to realize that though the two guards were clearly human, there was something odd about their spiritual auras. It was as if sensing when their time to die was clouded by murky waters. She could still determine it, but not without probing deeper. Phaidra knew that vampires considered human blood a source of energy. Was this what happened to humans when fed upon by vampires? Did it somehow taint their auras? It was a known means of turning a human into a vampire after all. Interesting. The gate area was lit up by two small posts with a light at the top, one on each side. The left side housing what appeared to be a small building with a window where cars could pull up alongside it. It was placed far enough from the actual gate for cars to pull up before the gate proper. It had its own light shining down on the spot where someone would stop to talk to the guards. Phaidra stepped into the light and made straight for the building as if expected. She was less than ten feet away when the door to the small building opened and the two guards in question came out to confront her. Instead of stopping Phaidra veered directly towards them and smiled warmly. ?That?s very polite of you to come out to help me.? Her smile widened a bit at their confused looks. ?I don?t suppose you have something I could have to drink? I?m a bit tired and worn out from all the walking.? Phaidra waited patiently for the two guards to respond, coming to a halt when she was about five feet away from the two men. ?You need to leave.? One of them finally said. ?Why? I can?t supervise the preparation of the party buffet if I go back home.? She placed her right hand on her hip and scowled just a tiny bit. ?If the party has been canceled, don?t think you can just send me away and get out of paying the cancellation fee. My services aren?t free after all.? ?Look lady, no one has a party in the middle of the night and no one said anything about more staff being hired so beat it.? She placed her other hand on her hip and leaned forward a tiny bit, grinning inside at their odd expressions as they got even more confused when she didn?t do as told. ?Now you look here young man. I was hired to help out with a special party and I didn?t drive all the way out here for you to send me back home. The only one who can do that is the owner of the resort who hired me.? She snorted lightly. ?I don?t take orders from you.? ?Wait, what car? If you have a car, why are you here on foot?? Phaidra rolled her eyes, ?I would have thought that was evident. It broke down obviously. So I walked the rest of the way since it?s closer than heading back to the city. Why else would I be arriving so late?? She sighed dramatically to cover her own surprise at realizing Alex and Chris had already gotten close to jumping the two without her noticing. I wonder how they did that. She shoved the thought aside. ?Look, how hard can it be to just give the main building a ring and let them know I?m here? You don?t want to get in trouble for turning away an expected guest do you?? She stared at the two and cleared her throat when they didn?t answer. ?Well?? ?Fine, you stay here though.? Phaidra smiled sweetly, ?I can do that.? The first guard turned to head for the building only to take one step backwards in surprise when coming face to face with Alex. Before he could react Alex slammed him with a swift uppercut to the jaw that sent the guard flying to land on his back. To her utter shock, Chris, after knocking the guard to the ground by hitting him on the back of the neck, killed the man before moving to finish off the other one that Alex had knocked out. ?What the hell did you do that for?? She objected heatedly. ?I thought we came to deal with the vampires not kill the humans!? ?They were tainted.? Chris said unremorsefully. ?You don?t leave something like that behind unless you enjoy getting stabbed in the back when you least expect it.? ?But...? She started to object and then nearly jumped out of her skin when Nathan placed his right hand on her left shoulder. She hadn?t even felt him come up behind her. ?We can discuss this later, now is not the time.? He removed his hand after Phaidra finally nodded. There was no point in making a fuss about it now. The others knew far more about vampires and humans who were associated with them than she did. Lucia?s program was running, they didn?t have the time to discuss it then. She was going to demand an answer later though. She nodded grimly to Sarvel who as if sensing she was upset floated over to land on her right shoulder and nuzzle her cheek before hopping off to land on the ground next to her. The others had already joined them and as soon as Alex and Chris had moved the bodies of the two humans into the building, they went through the gates and up the road to enter the resort. Phaidra wished she had known that they were going to actually kill the humans. The others didn?t seem all that concerned by it, but it bothered her.

I really like the retro feel to Treble's even though I think it would look better if pacman was centered instead of touching the bottom border. It has enough to be visually interesting and yet not too much either. So I vote for Treble's entry.

I went through a short phase of watching reality shows, but they always seemed to be the same... kind of dumb. So that phase was very brief since it got old real fast. Now, anytime a new one pops up, I don't even bother to watch it. If I catch one while looking to see what's on, I rarely last more than ten minutes. It's like a certain level of stupidity is inherent in all of them. o_O If you like it then that's your thing, but for me? I'll pass.

It depends on the type of stress that I'm experiencing. I go between listening to music, reading or going on a walk or even playing a video game. When I was at home, I'd find my cat and get him to lie on my lap while I petted him. He didn't seem to mind since he always fell asleep on my lap when I did that.

Just about everyone has already made the point of not doing the illegal drugs period, it's just not worth the hassle or the potential trouble should a person get caught. Oh and Vicky, just what kind of legal drugs are you talking about? Because the only ones I know that cause what you are describing are ones designed to help people who are in drug rehab. So it's a combination of withdrawal from the illegal drugs they were abusing and the legal ones to help them get over the addiction. >_> Unless you're talking about chemo therapy or other stuff. But still, I know a few people who got messed up and are currently in drug rehab at the moment and your description fits them perfectly.

I'd like to apologize for seemingly grouping everyone together I should of been more precise and if I were I'd say about 70% gave really good advice the 30%...you know who you are...gave questionable advice.
I wouldn't necessarily say that people's advice was questionable, but rather some people have different views on how they would approach the same situation. Like the abortion bit that was brought up, for some people they consider that an acceptable course of action. I don't but that's something that would be better approached in a seperate thread instead of here. Anyway, that's the problem with asking for advice, especially from people you only know through a computer screen. You're always going to get something you don't agree with because of different viewpoints on life and how to approach it.
