1. wowzers, lol i come back after about a year and everything's different! hi people! xD

  2. I'm going to complete my second manga. This one'll actually be the third one I've written, but so far I've only completed one. This time I'm going all out and making character sheets! :D Here's an expression sheet for the star, Zumo! Link because the picture thingy isn't working for me. Unfortunately, I don't have a scanner so I must make do with a camera phone. :animedepr I'm also working on learning to play the tenor sax, a dream of mine. I've only been playing since the school year started and I've suceeded in getting into the jazz and rock band class, along with my normal band class. I have nothing to post for that, but in my rock band class, we're playing Groove Is In the Heart (Dee-Lite), Sure Fire One (Liquid Soul), I Feel Good (James Brown), This Love (Maroon 5), Harder to Breathe (Maroon 5), Vehicle (too lazy to find the artist at the moment :animeswea), Respect (Aretha Franklin), and I'm Just a Girl (No Doubt).
  3. As strange as it may seem,
Light's
death in the Death Note series was very sad for me. Although
he
had it coming to him, it was sad, perhaps that's because it marked the end of an amazing anime. :animedepr
  4. We actually finally got some spring weather. The last few days we had a lot of snow. It's currently hot right now and I want an ice cream sundae. Might I add that I'm moving again?
  5. More Dubstep. Stil listening to Burial, although I've found a new artist- Mt. Eden.
  6. For Easter I very much enjoy nomming on candy, since it's delicious. Besides that, we don't have a tradition. We usually just nom on candy and get toys. :catgirl:
  7.
 I am very happy at the moment! For you see, despite my major hatred of and stinking at algebra, I actually understood the homework I received today.:catgirl:
I hate algebra, and geometry, and all other forms of math with a burning passion. Makes my head sad. ):
We got snow and then got rain that melted the snow. Then it snowed again and now it's getting above freezing during the day and it's all melting again. Anyway, I'm glad I still have another week off before school starts. Especially since I spent a certain amount of the holiday sick.
Lucky. >> And lucky again! I start school tommorow. I hate when I get sick when I have a break from school. Hah, on Thanksgiving I had a cold. :animedepr
  8. Hmmm...I have A LOT of favourite bands. -Fallout Boy -Tokio Hotel -My Chemical Romance -Kings of Leon -Owl City -Matt and Kim -The Fray -Mindless Self Indulgence I think that's it for now. :D
  9.
Out? What? Where the heck were you, my partner in crime?!:catgirl: I had to crawl through thigh-high snow in order to get to my door... It's still snowing outside...
Nya! I'm not out. I just said that. :animeswea I was in the land of Lollipoppies...also referred to as school. It snowed about two weeks ago here and still has not melted. :animedepr
  10. As the creator *dramatic music* ...... *ahem* So as the creator of this thread it is my duty to revive it! Hahahah! So what movie earns the title as Stupidest Movie I've Ever Seen? Friday the 13th. The newest one. This. was. a. terrible. horrible. movie. It was basically a porno with some murder scenes thrown in; and the murder scenes weren't even that good. :animeangr The storyline was also stupid. hmmm...thought I would have more to say....anyway, Friday the 13th = EPIC FAIL. -Lunar_:catgirl:
  11. Hmmm... Lately, I've been listening to Meditate by Out of Eden and Hero/Heroine by Boys Like Girls. I also listen to some classical and techno music, but mostly really laid-back kind of stuff. It actually depends on what I have to study for. Most of the time I only study for finals. I do listen to music when I do homework though. All the time. :catgirl:

    New Movies?
I watched Up a couple of days ago -- definitely recommend that. I'd have to rewatch some Pixar movies I haven't seen in a while to really back this up, but I think Up is one of Pixar's funniest movies. I laughed pretty much the entire time, aside from the first 10-15 minutes, or so, which would probably make up a rather brilliant animated short if it weren't a part of the movie.
A lot of Pixar movies are really good; my favorite has to be Wall-E. I've watched that many times on end.
Upcoming movies I'm looking forward to include The Princess and the Frog for reasons I've already covered in that movie's specific thread and Iron Man 2 because the first one was my favorite superhero movie ever.
I saw that thread, and I really want to see that movie. Looks like it should be a really good movie. I have yet to see the previews for Iron Man 2; in fact, I haven't even heard of it until now.

    New Movies?

So there's going to be (and has been) like a TON of new movies that are coming out this year. Most of them are looking pretty gosh darn awesome if I might say so myself. There are a few movies that I've been looking forward to (such as Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen; Terminator: Salvation, Ice Age 3; Start Trek; etc.). So what new movies do you really want to see? Why? If you have seen a newer movie, did you like it? Why? Would you recommend it to friends?
  14. POPSICLES! YES! That's basically all I eat for breakfast, lunch, and dinner when it's hot outside. Lime ones, banana ones, cherry ones.... Yeah, all very refreshing and cold. I also eat a lot of ice cream. Yep, ice cream is awesome. :animesmil
  15. Hmmm.. I think perhaps we'll probably go to dinner and get him a card. I'm not yet sure what to get him yet though, I have a hard time finding gifts. :animeswea He's done a lot and sacrificed a lot for us so I have to get him something big. So yeah! :catgirl:
  16. :animesmilWOW!!! this is so beautiful......and touching.......and deep. You really have extreme talent. I like the part about you being a star among many! that is so cool! keep writing please!
  17. I'm going to put my vote in for Shy's. I think that is a wonderful and unique idea. :catgirl: I seriously thought it would be a poll thing that goes on the top and everyone votes there.....ANYWAY, I can't wait to get started! As far as the length of these RP's, I'm thinking that we should have a set date in which we should end the RP; and keeping this date in mind we can probably be prepared for some issues to come up (considering of course that we make this date maybe a few days later than the date we actually want it to finish at). I'm also thinking that the posts should be a certain length, not too long to rush the story but not too short to keep the story behind and/or slow it down. Those are just some ideas I had....I wanted to contribute something. :catgirl:
  18. That picture.........it scares me, yet reminds me of this dream I had last night. It's weird because I haven't seen Saw V recently but for some reason I had a dream about it mixed with some Mortal Kombat Armageddon stuff......and my grandaunt....it was really weird. So that has taught me to play better video games after playing extremely violent ones. :animedepr Ah, today I found out that after freaking out about a midterm for english class yesterday today my teacher decided for us to scrap it alltogether. And I spent all the time trying to make sense of how the questions were situated!:animeangr I wonder if I'll get points for completion though. Picture of the day: Reminds me of Quarantine......which was a real dissapointment for me.
  19. Well.........I am a black person but I cannot dance really well.......and I really don't like basketball shoes. I personally prefer running shoes because they come in such awesome sauce colors. :animesmil My favorite smiley is this one ---> I think.......and I also think this is the best thread idea ever. Kudos to Shy. I have a new spinny chair also........too bad my room is too small to spin around in. :animedepr
  20.
Seriously, I've accidentally turned a pizza to liquid when the box said 'Bad-Cook-Proof'! (Can't quite remember the brand for that one...) The cheese just sorta went all gooey and ate up the entire thing... I should probably learn to stay near the microwave when cooking...:animedepr
:o I've actually cooked pizza in the microwave and had it like....a brick. You seriously turned pizza to a liquid? :animestun And don't worry.....I used to wander away from the microwave too. Dark days they were. :catgirl: Anyway, I think we are doing both.....although I must say a pizza vending machine is the best invention ever! I do hope that we keep the traditional art of pizza making because it is fun. By the way, it is easy to ruin pizza, one little slip up and you're ruined. :animedepr
  21. This is an awesome idea! Count me in!!!! I'm thinking of starting up an RP so this would be perfect! Let's do this thing!:animesmil
  22. Well I am in the process of writing another story and it seems as if it's going to be an amazing RP! However, it is still in the process of development (I'm in the first chapter still). Here's the basic point of the story. It started out as a field trip. Just a day like any other day. However, who knew that this would be Earth's final day? Who knew that this day, a normal Friday would be the end of the human race? A group of people wonder off away from a tour, not knowing that this simple, seemingly innocent breaking of the rules would save their lives. They wonder back outside to see everything destroyed, ruined. The smell of smoke fills the air as a thick, brown fog covers the landscape. What had happened? This group of people is going to find out. They must go to a land that was hidden from humans for millions of years- and face the many challenges along the way. Encounters with grotesque, unimaginable things attempt to deter them from finding the one thing that would have a chance at making their world whole again. So, what do you think? This is just a basic idea that I have so far and one that I want to expand more. Types of creatures for example, characters, the main cause of disaster for Earth. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you. :catgirl:
  23.
Hey, did you know that if you accidentally (or on purpose, I guess) warm shrimp up on high for a minute in a microwave with their tails and whatnot still on they explode? 'Cause I sure didn't until earlier today!:animeswea
:o They do? ah, thanks for sharing...i sure was about to do that. :animeswea Anyways, back on topic here. I actually think it is both, depending on who you're actually cooking for. For example, if someone is cooking for their family (or friends) and this family (or group of friends) is greatful and thanks the chef, then it would be an enjoyable pass time (or maybe even a passion). On the other hand, if someone happens to be cooking for a group of ingrates who are disrespectful then it would probably be a hassle and an unenjoyable experience. I really don't cook often, but when I do, it's really fun (except when I burn the food). So it's a passion for me almost all of the time. It's fun using ordinary foods to make a truly wonderful creation. :animesmil
  24.
I just want hip hop dance movies to go back to real hip hop dance and not pop coureography and super-lame story lines. I will admit though, that skinny jew-fro kid could pop.
Yes....I do agree with that. I must admit, when you really think about it the story lines do suck. For example, with Transformers. The machines were awesome but the story line wasn't good. Lol. Yes he had skills. :animesmil
