  1. [font=arial narrow]Media wise, it's Death Note. It's been banned in countries such as China/Hong Kong, I believe. Personally, I think it's Battle Royale (not an anime, but the manga is very graphic) or any of Yuki Kaori's manga. She includes themes like incest, self harming, male prostitution; very human, but these topics are generally considered quite taboo in society.[/font]
  2. [font=arial narrow]For me, it was Rurouni Kenshin, as well as One Piece, Fairy Tail, Death Note, and many psychological thrillers out there. Peacemaker Kurogane also did a good job; I was intrigued almost immediately (largely due to the fact that I was a loyal Shinsengumi fan back then).[/font]
  3. [font=arial narrow]For me, I'm currently reading all of Yuki Kaori's manga. I seem to find more with each passing week; and I'm ecstatic at the fact. I'm also reading Get Backers and Vagabond, as well as the usual weekly/monthly Shounen/Shoujo manga.[/font]
