I do find it funny that the quiz describes the Justice style as being more common of men than women
Heh, yeah, I did a bit of a double-take when I read that myself. I'm sort of tempted to go back and retake the quiz again with that in mind to see if it'll change my answers more towards the "Justice" side of things, for the sake of masculinity. ^_^;

I've just finished rewatching Zoids: Chaotic Century as of earlier this morning, it was pretty nostalgic, one of the things I enjoyed the most was despite the fact it was completely dubbed, the voices didn't suck, and of course the characters fight one another in giant robots, which gives me a big geeky smile, makes me wonder why I never got into Gundam really. Biscuits/Cookies, whichever you call them definitely win it for me. I like certain savoury snacks, but in my experience crackers have always been served with cheese, which I can't claim to be a big fan of. Plus with biscuits, you always have that lovely feeling of getting your sugar hit, which you just don't get with crackers.

Heh heh. Sounds fun, especially for the man who can't be killed.
I'm hoping Shinji feels responsible for Aizen's defection and general evil-ness and is leading his team to atone for that by rubbing Aizen out.
I don't know, Shinji already revealed that he knew about Aizen, the Hougokyou and the all that jazz for years and yet he never did anything about it. He's also said he doesn't involve himself in Shinigami affairs anymore either, so it just doesn't seem to be he's going to feel particularly responsible for anything Aizen has done. I'd like to see this flashback continued for another chapter or two, just to get some more info, and maybe see a few more familiar faces. Just purely out of curiousity, does anyone else here buy into the theory that Isshin was/is part of the Shiba clan ? I know it's fairly out of context from what we've been talking about, but I've been mulling over the theory for a while, and actually agree with it. Heh, fan-theories are always fun.

Care Score: 6 Justice Score: 3 Sounds right, even though I support justice, I'm not the type who'd be comfortable with people being hurt, simply because a rule, or a law allows it. For me, I think questions 3 and 6 really summed up the quiz.
Ethic of care An "ethic of care or responsibility" is founded on a sense of responsibility to reduce actual harm or suffering. For these people, moral dilemmas generally involve a conflict of duties or responsibilities. People with this orientation believe that the focal point of every ethical dilemma is the specific individuals involved and the particular circumstances of the case. Solutions, then, must be tailored to the special details of individual circumstances. Notions of equity, or what is appropriate or "fitting," tend to be favored by this approach. Making exceptions does not phase these people, and they tend to feel constrained by policies that are supposed to be enforced without exception. The advantage of this approach is that it is responsive to immediate suffering and harm. This approach is flexible, caring and subjective--appropriately so. It can respond quickly to changing circumstances and is not preoccupied with the idea of setting precedents. The bad news, however, is that by focusing so much on circumstances, people with this orientation can lose sight of the forest for the trees. Their reliance on subjective, "gut" response can limit their appreciation of other factors. When carried to an extreme, this style can produce decisions that seem not simply subjective, but arbitrary.
After reading back over the chapter, it does seem that Kenpachi reached Captain before Aizen, which is a bit of a shocker in reality. What surprised me most though came from the bottom right-hand panel of page 13 here, where Ukitake refers to Unohaha as senpai, I seriously didn't see it come she was older than the two of them, or at least, a captain before them. As for Hiyori, well from her lieutenant's armband which can be seen here, she looks to be twelth squad, which makes absolutely no sense at all given her character.
I had to have missed it, but how so?
Maybe he was being sarcastic, but this kinda made me question his surprise about the fight's conclusion, which would imply knowledge of Itachi's condition just prior to the fight. And here, right up until that last line, I was worried you wouldn't bring me back in this Mike. Heh. Looming tall figure all dressed in black ? Give me a white haori and you make me sound like Kenpachi, and that's not a complaint in any respect. All joking aside, it's great to see this series back, I know we spoke about it yesterday Mike, but I seriously didn't expect you to bring it back so quickly. I can't wait to see some of your legendary fight scenes again, it's been too long since I've had the treat of reading them.

Damn it Allamorph and Aceburner I was saving those clips for my next post. *Sighs* Of the two though, I definitely think the Weiber vs. Flye fight is better, as Allamorph said, it's how Maul should've used that double-blade of his. Anyway, continuing the Star Wars theme. Rotoscoping needs work, but not a bad clip overall.
Is it just me, or does anyone else get all fuzzy inside when Kishi has Kakashi be the one to piece everything together...? Yeah, I thought so. Just me. ^^ Though, his references to the 4th do keep making me wonder when they'll have Gaiden in Shippuuden...
Heh, I actually can't wait to see how the revelation of another Sharingan user will affect him, especially because with Tobi's apparent age, and only one Sharingan eye, Kakashi is definitely going to have that one thought go right through his mind. As for hierarchy, if Madara can order Pein around, it's pretty apparent who's in charge of Akatsuki, odd though that apparently half the group roughly was aware of his role and yet he still took on the Tobi persona. Another Gaiden chapter would be cool too.

God damn, that was just an awesome chapter. I'm not even that bothered about the amount of new questions this chapter raises, like exactly what happened to transform four Gotei 13 captains into Vaizard exiles, how one actually gets into the Royal Guard, who's in the Royal Guard now, etc. One of the things that threw me off slightly was the idea of the current Captains only a century ago in the current time line, only four of them had been in the job since the previous century. Like Shinji says, Soul Society seems to go through Captains like toilet paper. I'm actually really curious to know as well, who else was a captain around that point too, and where the other Vaizard fitted into the Gotei 13 ranks. In short: Love + Full Afro = Pwnage

Cool post Aaryanna, has me rather curious how you lot are going to get out with a giant air-battle going on over your heads. Especially with the debris from the destroyed ships falling back down towards High Czenoble, should make for a few more quakes.

Well, seems like things are going to pick up again soon enough. I have to say, this latest chapter left me a little indifferent. I never expected Shino's attack to do anything against Madara, although at least we got some info on the actual ability he was using, better Space/Time Jutsu than the 4th eh ? Anyone else smell another Uchiha-power-up coming ? Seems as well that Madara was the one who limited Itachi before his fight, given his lack of surprise as his descendent's loss. Hmm, guess as well Itachi really is dead, and apparently Sasuke isn't too far behind him. On a side note Mem, where the hell did you get your hands on Bleach 316 ? Dropping hints like that is just damn cruel for the rest of us. :p
