1.
Gavin would hit the roof when he came home to find that his son had been brawling at school. Again.
Of course, because dad has just had a hard day of showing humans the Saiya-jin version of police brutality. That said, so long as the brat didn't lose, he'll be slightly more forgiving, even if Billy's a polar opposite to what his old man was like back when they were in high school, must be the friends, or Andrew, yeah, definitely Andrew. ^_~ There will of course be the mandatory beating to show Billy he isn't top-dog of the house yet, nothing personal though, purely societal.
 2. I don't know about anyone else, but I was actually a little underwhelmed by that chapter. I mean, sure it was nice to see the switch back to the Konoha-nin, but I wanted a hell of a lot more reaction out of Sasuke than just a blank look, then a smile and then fainting after his fight with Itachi. It was nice to see Orochimaru's white snake get incincerated by Amaterasu's fire, poor Hebi-Sannin, even dead/unconscious Itachi still beats him. As for Naruto and than others, again, sort of underwhelmed. I mean all we basically got was Naruto and Kiba complaining their attacks did nothing, Shino explains, they don't understand and Kakashi expects us to believe somehow Shino's insects can do harm to an S-Class ninja who apparently can phase through objects and vice-versa. Oh yeah, and Hinata told us what we all already knew. I like Shino, but I seriously don't see how he's going to do anything against Madara. I think Solo is right, we might start to see some injuries here, especially if Tobi switches to Madara personality. Oh and before I forget, completely agree with TC, it was nice to see Kubo admit that yes, Itachi should have fought better than that. Makes me wonder what the cause of those prior injuries were now though. Yeah, this whole chapter for me felt like a bit of a rush job, maybe more accurately like two chapters crushed together. 3. It seems nobody else noticed it, but in one of the last few pages, if you look in the garganta behind Aizen, you can see Gin's outline clearly enough, and across from him what I assume to be Tousen, although he's rather hard to descern. Like Mem, I'm wondering if they're going to alternate between the fights, or just do them one after another. If it's the latter, I think we've seen plenty of Ichigo fighting for the moment, and of course, so many powerful opponents facing off in the real world, the prospect of unseen bankai becomes rather likely, so I hope Kubo starts with the Gotei 13 fights. If it's the former, I still hope we get to start with the Gotei 13 fights and see a bit of them before it switches over to Ichigo and Ulquiorra. I can't help but wonder, with him back to his old "resolve" and control of his inner Hollow, is he strong enough to take down the 4th Espada ? Remember, it was Ulquiorra himself who said that Ichigo when fully in sync with his inner Hollow had a higher reiatsu than him. For fights in the real world, well I'm not going to call the remaining fights, heh, I just want to see them.
 4.
Suck it up then and do some research and stretch that writing ability of yours.
Firstly. *Thwack* Secondly. *Thwack* Thirdly. *Thwack* I think you get the idea brat. ^_~ Anyway, on this whole thing, I think it's completely fair that D'Ann sets some limits to what she actually writes, if you can't write a particular area, you can't write a particular area and researching for one little story seems pointless to me. No offense intended MoyakuKeramushe, I'm just speaking generally. I mean Crys, it's fair enough you and Allamorph did research for fights in Shinigami, because it was part over the overall story, this is just a collection of one-off often gruesome ends for people's amusement. Especially when D'Ann gets a request nearly every day for a new scene, researching a single fight is unreasonable. Well, that's all I have to say anyway. Oh, aside from the fact, D, cancel that emotional fight between you and Annie, instead, let's see a bloodbath of yourself, Erica and myself tearing Allamorph and Crys apart in a fight in a tea-house, historical Chinese setting of your choosing.
 5.
Gavin the thing is, I absolutely HATE subs. Unless an anime is godly and it must be seen, I won't watch subs. Subs suck period, imo. I don't want to spend my time reading subtitles and having my head drilled with annoying and repetitive Japanese voices. Sorry but a lot of the Japanese sound the same to me. I mean, usually subs go unedited and untouched, but I don't really find that a problem. Plus on the net, they're a ***** to find and my computer won't load ****. BTW, at my ex-gf's I watched a few minutes of Naruto: Shippuden, and I couldn't stand the voices.
Heh, funny that we have the exact same opinion on opposite sides of the argument. I meant to say it at the end of my last post, but I seem to have forgotten to, but at the end of the day, I think the subs vs. dubs argument is plainly in the eye of the beholder. For someone like you Aber, who hates reading what people are saying while having to listen to a language you don?t like, obviously the dubs are going to be preferable. I mean it?s not simply subs > dubs for me either. I watch a few episodes in both and then make my decision, it just so happens that the majority of the time, I prefer the Japanese voices. Dragonball Z is the big exception to this rule, as I can?t even sit through two minutes of a subbed episode because of Goku?s VO, where as I think FUNI really nailed a lot of the characters superbly. What bothers me the most about Naruto is that the majority of the voices sound forced, it goes back to the point Memphis made about the English VOs trying to match their Japanese counterparts, and in a lot of the cases they just for me come out poorer, with a few exceptions. I completely agree when him with he says that instead of trying to match the English dub to the Japanese voices, they should try and match the voice to the character themselves, again this goes back to why I think Dragonball Z didn?t suffer from the problem of subs > dubs. Of course, it did and still does suffer from the FUNI vs. Ocean dubs war, but that?s for a completely different thread. So again, at the end of the day, it?s what you prefer, but I will completely agree with the sentiments Memphis put forward.
Well, me and my ex are having a fight as to whether it's Shippuuden or Shippuden, and if sasuke and naruto, are supposed lovers. God she's annoying.
Technically speaking it's spelled Shippūden, and I've seen it spelled using both the "uu" and just the single "u", usually I spell it the latter but of the two, I'm not sure which is more correct. Secondly, no, just no. I assume you're referring to the clips at the end of the latest Shippuden episodes featuring "sasuxnaru" pictures. I don't get it myself, as nothing in the manga or anime has ever hinted about that kind of relationship between the two, Naruto loves Sakura and Sasuke, well, Sasuke seems kind of non-sexual to me. But no, assure your ex, unless she's one of those rabid yaoi fangirls that no, Sasuke and Naruto are not lovers.
 6.
Orochimaru in particular is pretty impressive. It's only because I already know the Japanese voices so well that I'm used to how they sound that I watch it subbed.
True enough, and Itachi's voice is quite well done as well. Oddly though, Naruto was the first anime I watched subbed with the original Japanese voices and it never bothered me. I just found overall the English voices weren't as good as their Japanese counterparts, specifics that come to mind being Chouji, Gai and Jiraiya, who are all terrible.
 7.
And boys should know never to defy a queen; you never know how merciless she might be.
Heh, some of us better than others. If we're back to requests, you and Annie, fighting to the death over her leaving OB and Corey and I finding the results of the fight. Make it as gorey as you please, just remember to include the pain and emotion of us as friends.
 8.
Madness? THIS. IS. SP- *shot* Sorry, couldn't resist. Anyway, welcome to the jungle. We've got fun and games. Have a good time and Prepare to want to bite off Prem's head repeatedly.
*Lowers rifle* Anyway, as Aceburner said before his tragic demise, welcome to OB Sabrina, it can seem to be a bit of a jungle sometimes, although Crys tells me you're finding your way just fine. Have fun, and look forward to seeing you around the boards.
 9. Interesting new username Prem, just BTW. Anyway, on Kisame, well, with Madara and Pein, I doubt he's the strongest member of the group in terms of overall fighting ability. That said, he could have the largest supply of chakra out of them all, as at 30% he was able to fight fairly competantly against Gai's team, although again I doubt it, because usually chakra supply gives an idea of someone's overall strength, and if he's not the strongest overall, he likely also doesn't have the overall largest chakra supply. As for watching it, seriously Prem, subs > dubs, that's just a general rule of anime. How you can even sit through the first series dubbed is beyond me, those voices are just way too annoying.
 10.
Man... threats of violence in an rpg should stay in the story instead of spilling into the real world. XP
How else are we going to motivate the players ? I know nothing gets me in the mood to write like one of Crys' or D'Ann's threats.
 11.
I don't expect him to go back to Konoha or come into contact with Naruto willingly in the near future; I'd be really disappointed if that happened. There are a lot of bad things that could happen with Sasuke's development from here on out, and I really just expect him to spend time alone after this.
I completely agree, as tempted as I am to start supporting Sasuke again on a limited basis, he needs some serious time alone for reflection before he can go back to Konoha, that is of course counting his limitless arrogance has been knocked out of him by Itachi with that fight. Besides, it's not as if Team Hebi was all that interesting, a fangirl, mini-Kisame/Zabuza and of course Kishi's version of Two-Face. If they all died, and with maybe the exception of Juugo I'm seriously hoping so, I doubt there'd be many tears shed.
 12.
Though before this is done and over with, I imagine his story will not be the only tragic one.
Is that some sort of hint for us about Alexander's future Darren ? Or are you just being bleak in general ? I've about half a post written, so I should be able to finish and post it by tomorrow or Friday at the latest, as it needs to go before Malkav and James' posts, or at least, alongside James'.
 13.
I was at a toss up on Fuu. She had her moments, but she was a fairly annoying character IMO. But I guess that's because she would be the one depriving me of my fights between Jin and Mugen :p
Yeah, there is that, but she has a good heart and sort of makes up the middle ground between Jin's quiet stoicism and Mugen's fiery impatience.
 14. A bit more stand-up. First saw this as part of AMV Comedians, I nearly choked laughing. It would have to be the mad Irishman who laughs at the end, wouldn't it. ^_^;
 15. I love the videos, although I actually prefer Naruto Abridged to Yu-Gi-Oh Abridged, if only because I prefer the base material that the jokes are based on, but both shows are still utterly awesome. Weevil and Rex as Beavis and Butthead and Bandit Keith's In America jokes were just too funny. But then, Gaara of the Funk and Sasuke and the Log are brilliant as well.
 16.
Shhh, he's listening. If he gets word of that, we'll be accused of training to become barbarians or something. --Chris
You mean something like this ?
 17. Just started watching Samurai Champloo today, already about a third of the way through it, great series so far, Mugen and Jin make interesting contrasts to one another and Fuu is just adorable. Very fun, very cool anime so far.
 18.
Careful Jack! If you tick off enough gamers, we'll train up on our murder simulators and come get you!!
Just what I was thinking, God knows how good we've gotten with sword swinging motions after the Wii.
 19. Yeah, it's fine Josh, I've a different ending planned for Daedalus anyway that accomplishes pretty much what I was going to do with the cannon, it actually fits better with the air-battle too. We've still a bit more to cover before the air-battle comes to an end, but I should be able to wrap it up in one or two more posts as intended.
 20. Two from SarcasticGamer.com "It's not an iPhone, it's a big *** table, take that Apple." Great line.
 21. Darren, I swear, if it's the last thing I ever do, you will die for posting that Hamster Dance clip...I think I lost about 15/20 IQ points just watching it once. ¬_¬
 22. Heh thanks everyone, I didn't think it was a great post myself, just covering what I needed to cover before the main segment of the battle. Still, thanks for the encouraging words. If it helps, I've imagined Litheway as having the same voice as Balthier from FF12, just if you're trying to get a feel for the character.
And while I'm here cause this sort of thing is fun... It seems someone has a birthday today... So Raiha... Happy Birthday! Hahahaha! *ducks*
*THWACKS* Brat.
 23.
I can now understand why Kishi said that there will be a primary focus on Sasuke this year. We have to watch as we see who comes out of the woodwork for him and what he decides to do from now on.
After reading that article, I've realised that even if I don't like Sasuke as a character much any more, the fact that his "ninja god" status has been removed actually does present the chance for him to become a more interesting character. Hopefully he'll see that all the shortcuts he took, all the deals he made to get to fighting Itachi early have not been worth it and genuinely reassesses how his life can change at this point. I wonder, was this what Madara meant by whether or not Sasuke would become a hawk or a snake ? He's back to being a blank enough slate now. Either way, I'm actually looking forward to Sasuke's future development, as long as he's not God-modded back to his previous status unjustly again. If you enjoyed that article Kei, check out his one on Pein, it's as interesting.
 24. Found an absolutely awesome article based on what occurred in chapter 393, and I'd advise anyone to have a look at it. http://zapenstap.livejournal.com/8344.html Although I disagree with some small parts of what the author has said, I think it's still a very compelling read.
 25.
Side note: I'm not Stu, I'm Matt. :animeswea
*Bangs head off desk* ^_^; Apparently I've been thinking you were someone else all along Raiyuu, sorry about that. *Bangs head off desk again* Moving swiftly on, even if I know someone who'll never let me forget this. I actually had Zommari tipped as one of the top three, but even if he wasn't, he was still pretty interesting for a Hollow.
