You Dutchmen are all potheads, that's why it seems normal to you. XD
Glad I'm not the only European here to think that. ^_^; All joking aside, I'm totally against the legalisation of mrijuana. It's a dangerous damn drug that is being glossed over as just a step up from cigarettes, which in and of themselves are plenty dangerous too. A good friend of my brother's has been clean for about the last eight or nine months, and the change has been incredible. Marijuana needs to stay illegal, because if it's legalised, and the tobacco industry gets a hold of it and makes it profitable, it will never be made illegal again, no matter how many people get sick and die from the drug's long-term effects.
"He who controls the present, controls the past. He who controls the past, controls the future." There's your tagline.
Definitely a great tagline, probably the best line in the entire movie.
...Oh, and the family diagram is also very nice. Clears up a few issues. Kinda scary how I have to call Gavin dad now. O.o He'll use that against me even after this RP is written in golden ink in the RP lore of OB, I'm sure.
Me scary ? When did that happen ? :animesmil Anyway, I think the family tree you guys have done is great, even if it did give me four kids I didn't know about. Guess maybe now I need to be a bit more paternal, though Daedalus will probably still have a better bond with those who share his interests.
I'd do anything if I were you, but some games I'd always thought of as movies are my personal favourites: Killzone
Seconded. Killzone was an awesome game, and I'd love to see what kind of poster you could make for it cancer. Either that, or you go for one of the greatest games ever produced by mankind: Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater.

Meh, not to flog a dead horse, but you need to give us a bit more info on your current situation before we can offer you any meaningful advice skullinton. That said, Konata's point stands, all women are different, so different ones want different things.
(Listen to "Wannabe" by the Spice Girls! That helps a bit!)
Dear. God. No. Really bad pop songs by really bad girl bands will not help anyone. Sorry taperson, but I really despise that song with a passion. :animeswea

Maybe it's the fact that I just woke up, and I'm not really a morning person, but in the idea that this...creature won't face punishment for what she's done absolutely sickens me to the core. I'm normally completely against the death penalty, but in this case, I don't think a short drop and a quick stop is unfitting for the crime. I mean ****, for a parent to do this to someone else's kid ? All I'm left with is asking why ?
Yeah, I'm definitely more interested in this fight now that I am understanding more and more of Pein's abilities. And I think that, like you said, Naruto is going to be the one who finishes this fight(what a surprise...>.>) because I just don't see Jiraiya pulling out any more uber-powerful jutsu's anymore. I mean, let's face it, he's just about reached his limit; which mean's Naruto's probably gonna be jumping into the fight any chapter now. Lol, I guess we'll finally get to see the true result's of Naruto's training with Jiraiya for 2 and half year's.
Yeah, unfortunately I think Jiraiya has fought to the best of his ability, so either he retreats now, or he dies, it's pretty much that simple. And unfortunately for J-Man, Naruto is still chasing Sasuke and Itachi, so there's no way he can come to Jiraiya's aid. I get the feeling if anyone was to show up, it'd be Tsunade. [Edit] Seems Tombstone got there before me.
I don?t know about anyone else, but after reading Ch. 379, my interest in this fight have increased dramatically. I?m kind of impressed with Pein?s god-like abilities to revive all of his bodies. He seems much more like a threat now, and I wonder how would anyone be able to take this man down. And holy cow at Jiraiya losing his arm. I?m not exactly sure how Pein did it, but I wasn?t expecting anything as cruel as that to happen to the J-Man.
Definitely, shame it couldn't have been like this from the start, but at least we're getting to a point where we may actually see a Sarutobi-level fight. Who can take Pein down, my bet's on Naruto. While Pain may be the man of six bodies, even that talent pales in comparison to Naruto's ability to likely create several thousand bodies of his own. I have little doubt that Jiraiya's training probably involved some work with his Kage Bunshin technique that we haven't seen yet. As for J-Man's arm, I'm thinking his Super Sennin form will allow him to regenerate it, seeing as toads can regenerate lost limbs, either that or he'll do a Haku and start with the old one-handed seals. Honestly, I thought the dismemberment was cool, because we've never seen damage to that point before, it'll all been fairly... surgical if you know that I mean.
Yeah, expense is something that means it won't be happening anytime soon. XP Though if money wasn't an issue... I'd have that along one of the walls as well. Also... If I did have it, it would be a crime to not watch Star Wars on it. I couldn't call myself a fan if I neglected to do that at the first opportunity.
If you ever get to the point of having one Beth, I'll definitely have to come over and watch Star Wars with you.
I was actually going to get Assassin's Creed, but heard there have been problems with it and the new PS3 firmware update. Which is unfortunate, since Uncharted forced me to update before playing.
Haven't heard anything about that myself, but in reality, I'm probably not even going to be looking at a PS3 until Christmas next year, due to this being senior year for me, meaning state exams, and lots of study. This is just a wish list after all. :animesmil

Add to it a copy of Assassin's Creed, and I'd consider it a majorly sweet Christmas haul.
Yes, the amount of sign-ups we've gathered is magnificent. It's a shame that not everyone will make the cut, unfortunately. :/
Just wondering Sandy/Josh, how many character are you two actually looking at for the RPG ?

"A party ?!" The frivolity of the comment angered Eoghan greatly. He'd just killed three men, and watched someone he'd come to care for and respect deeply die. Michael seemed to pick up on the frustration in his voice, and returned to his more formal tone of address. "There's a party in Nice for the Chinese Imperial Delegation. You're going to go to the party, Lady Chang is known to have a taste for men of your type, we're hoping if she takes a liking to you that you'll be able to by-pass otherwise problematic obstacles in getting you into the Orient." Eoghan said nothing, he really couldn't believe that this was the best O'Keefe and his other guardians had come up with. Send him to a banquet and hope that he could successful seduce or be seduced by a Chinese noble in the off chance that she would grant him passage to China. Safe to say, he still wasn't satisfied with the situation, Eoghan simply shook his head. In response to the gesture, Michael sighed angrily, folding his arms across his chest. "Listen, I know the situation isn't perfect. But nobody was supposed to know about Vienna beyond some very trusted people. For Stark to have learned about it means we've at best had an agent break under torture, and at worst mean we've got a traitor. So unfortunately that means we've got to go outside the box, and this is the best solution that I could see." There was no doubt in Eoghan's mind that his friend was telling the truth, Michael had an almost unnatural loyalty to the Irish heir to the throne, and probably couldn't conceive putting him in any kind of situation where there was a chance something could happen to him. For him to be forced into a decision like this meant that there really were no better options. "I'm sorry. I just... a lot's happened." Eoghan sounded quite pathetic, even to himself. "I know, trust me though, you're going to be fine... you always are." "So how exactly are we going to do this ?" "We've opted for the simplest approach. We've managed to procure an invitation from Baron O'Griffy, a political ally. You're going to pose as the baron's son, as O'Griffy himself has declined on the grounds of ill-health. You're fortunate, as you and young O'Griffy look quite similar." "Alright." He was actually becoming more and more reassured by the plan. The English would not expect them to do something like this, if anything, his idea of going to Rome would have been the first place they'd have searched. "There's a train leaving for Nice in about thirty minutes. Your bags have already been packed and are waiting at the station..." O'Keefe looked away for a moment. "You'd better get going Eoghan, we've no time to waste on this one." A hour later, Eoghan was sitting silently in his private booth on the train to Nice, hoping that somehow everything would work out.

As the elevator doors pinged open, Gabriel could sense something out of place, after so many years, the closest word he could describe it as would be instinct, but even then it went beyond that feeling. "Dana..." He murmured his charge's name softly as he dashed towards the open door of his apartment. When he saw the familiar brown mass of curls lying prostrate on the ground, he was literally shaking with anger. He knew her of course, Violet Delacroix, his one time lover, years beforehand, and possibly one of the deadliest agents in all of Genesis, he knew this of course, because he'd been the one to train her. Dana was nowhere in sight, maybe it was better that way, if Violet had been sent to try to extract information from her, then Matthews had evidently been making moves he wasn't letting Gabriel in on. He'd already told the guards to give her their full co-operation, and hopefully the keys were still in his Golf. If she could lay low long enough, he'd come and get her. First though, he needed to deal with his former student, withdrawing the wakazashi from it's display stand on his mantel, he simply stared at her. It was a while before Violent awoke, in some ways he missed her, she had been perfect in so many ways, but flawed in so many more. When she stirred, her mood was immediately foul, she cursed grabbing at her carotid where the needle had been jabbed. She didn't even seem to realise Gabriel was there until he had lashed out his right foot into her midsection and driven her rolling several feet back. It took her a moment to recognise her assailant. "...GABRIEL ?!" The venom practically dripped from her melodic voice. "Why were you here Violet ?" She flinched slightly at the iciness of his voice. Chances were he was more than capable of killing her. Gabriel had already removed the wakazashi from it's saya and was holding it out to her threateningly. "I'm on Director Matthew's orders. I don't have to answer you." "You do, if you want to live." In what seemed like a second, he'd materialised next to her, pressing the blade of the short-sword to her throat. "...I was to bring the girl down to our interrogation unit...you weren't to know until afterwards." She couldn't even meet his eyes at this point. Gabriel allowed the blade to relax away from her throat. "Get out, now." Gabriel watched Violet slowly shuffle out of the room, he'd pay for that at some stage, that he could be certain of.
Well factoring in speeded courier travel pace, I'm guessing you'll make it by roughly dinner time. I hope anyway. It'll be quite swell. With toasts! And stuff.... But seriously folks. Everyone can keep posting as they see fit, there's no huge rush.
Alright, I'll probably make a post sometime tomorrow evening, as I've a few other RPGs I want to make posts in too.

Just happened to be browsing Youtube when I thought of putting in a search for the intro-movie Daedalus' appearance is taken from. I think the picture leaves a little to be desired and as he's based off the Vinci soldier from the clip, it gives a little more depth to his character. Rise of Legends Intro Great game, I'd recommend anyone try it if they're an RTS fan.

I'm not really sure what to do myself, I've set up Eoghan's story to get him to the party in Nice, so I guess I'll just play it from there. Anything you particularly want me to do D'Ann ?
Whoah, hold up there Gavin. I wasn't aware we were ever toying with that idea - or at least if we were then nobody told me! I'm not opposed to the idea myself, I was just a little surprised there when I saw your post.
Yeah, sorry, I just got talking with Josh about the whole Almagest family tree and it came up, I don't mind either way myself. I kind of get the feeling Daedalus could become the Fester of this Adam's Family.
-
Just wondering, are we still toying with the idea of making Blayze's character Daedalus' son as opposed to his cousin ? I just happened to note the similarity of appearance between our respective characters.
^ Agreed, but then again I like all the themes where Super Sa.. (bah, forgot how to spell that word) transformations are taking place.
Yeah, shame they screwed everything up by creating GT after it and giving it a crap plot. Actually the intro to GT sucked something awful as well from what I can remember.
By some I'm assuming Vegeta's theme only :) j/k.
Heh, as cool as Vegeta's theme is, Goku's Ascension takes has to be my favourite. Such an awesome piece.
I'd want a simulation of the night sky, much like you'd see at a show in a planetarium. And the reason I never give it a thought is I'm not interested in a painted version but a more advanced one that changes to reflect the current state of the sky. Well except for the part where the sun comes up. lol
Same for me, though you'd really just be talking about having a very large flat-screen attached to your ceiling and a camera on the roof sending a continuous video feed to said screen. I imagine it'd be expensive but feasible. I would of course be a complete geek and root in a HD-DVD feed into it and watch Star Wars at some point as well...
Anyway, so it's Crystia's fault that you're character is now royalty Gavin? Fun! :p
Yeah, that and it actually gives a reason for him to be the folk-hero level character he is at the moment. Besides, Eoghan's only descended from the native kings, so he's not actually a king yet, and if you knew just how awkward the Irish monarchy system was, you'd know even then he's not guaranteed to be king, he's just the most likely candidate.
Ah, yes, the good ol' days, when FUNimation sucked almost as bad as 4Kids. Luckily, FUNi learns from their mistakes.
Bah, I meant to write theme music there, as Brian Faulconer created some truly kick *** stuff for the show.
