Interesting, most interesting.
But seriously, if you're looking for an easy way out of this, you won't find one. If you want to, then just plain ask her out. If she says no, the worst that'll come is just gaining a little more experience in life.
That's pretty much the only advice than can be given, you like the girl so just bite the bullet and ask her out, as John said the worst that can go wrong is she'll turn you down. If you don't she'll end up going out with someone else and you could lose you shot altogether.
I would want to wake up with a tattoo with no idea why it's there because I would liek to have a tattoo. It be so cool! I'd prefer it over being naked because you will have distrubing thoughts about what might have happened. MY TUUUUURN! Would you rather... Go to prison for life? or Be blind, mute, and deaf for the rest of your life?
I'll choose like imprisonment, at least that way I can enjoy what sense I have even if the conditions aren't exactly 5-star. Be an astronaut ? Or Be a circus clown ?
Would you rather relive one embarrassing childhood moment over and over for one week or Would you rather relive one embarrassing adult moment over and over for one week?
Well thankfully my adult embarrassing moments are a lot less painful to recall than childhood embarrassments, so I think the choice is obvious. Wake up in bed naked with no idea why you're naked ? Or Wake up with a tattoo with no idea why it's there ?

Interesting, most interesting. Name: Corvus Species: Raven Colouring: A rather resplendid black. Disposition: Like most ravens, Corvus is rather intelligent, and even a bit supercilious to those who come to see him, though this is due mainly to the fact people only come to see him when they need a question answered. Generally reclusive, he's something of an eccentric and enjoys talking to himself, as in his own mind there's nobody else worthy of having a conversation with. Anything else: Corvus is probably one of the older animals of the forest and as such his voice has become somewhat scratchy over the years, even for a raven. As such it can sound rather harsh even when unintended.
Riight Gavin... riiight. Would you rather have to read all the books in the Pigeon series (IE Don't Let the Pigeon drive the Bus, The Pigeon Finds a Hot Dog Ect) to kids or Or would you rather have to read some of the Junie B Jones books to kids. Both book series are for children, but the Junie B Jones books are chapter books. Give me a break because I'm on a library computer surrounded by books. I need lunch!
Didn't think I'd get away with it, but worth a try. Out of your choices Chibi, I think I'll go for the first one, as having watched Valiant with my young cousins recently (long story) I have a newfound respect for the feathered carriers, though by the sound of it, Pigeon may be a nickname...
Hmmm.....I think i'm gonna have to go with the first choice. Mainly because I can see myself more in that kinda've postion than at a cool New Year's Eve party. Would you rather burn the skin off your mouth with a flaming hot dog? Or.... Would you rather burn the skin off your lip's with a flaming cheeseburger?
Hot dog, I hate cheeseburgers so this is a rather easy choice for me. Be a Jedi ? Or Be a Sith ? ^_^; This choice was not influenced by my banner and avatar set.

This is kind of ironic, I'd actually just logged on to announce I intended to withdraw from the competition due to a lack of success with my event. Anyway, thanks to Sandy and White for giving me the chance to compete against them, and I really do hope your events work out and become something to remember. Maybe I'll end up working with one of you on a new incarnation of Kumite at some stage in the future. Anyway, good luck to both of you.

Interesting, most interesting. UK and Irish users might try Play.com as they offer free delivery on everything and nearly always cheaper than most shops I've come across. They sell quite a wide variety of stuff, similar to Amazon and their postage is usually quick compared to eBay. I believe they also have an American branch, though I've never used it, PlayUSA is the name I think.
If I became Event Master, I would be a progressive[/i'] Event Master. The Events are for the community so I really would just love the opportunity to work with the community directly in whatever thread is created.
I think in reality White whichever of us gets the job at the end of the day is going to be a progressive Event Master. Though I have to admit, the idea that the Community Events would become a non-stop Otaku Idol is a bit disturbing, the idea of an Event Master is someone who is capable of crafting different types of events, rather than just overseeing ideas submitted by other people. I'm not saying I'm against members being able to submit events, quite the contrary, as I had a lot of fun with the Scavenger Hunt event, but I believe that events should first and foremost be designed by the EM.
I would go on with my pjs on (on pj day?) Would you rather.... Go crazy at a calm party? or Stay calm at a wild party?
Seeing as I usually am calm at most parties, so I think I'll stick with that. Generally going wild at calm parties has the nasty repercussion that you are no longer invited to such parties. Dress formal for a casual party ? Or Go in fancy dress to a black-tie gala ? Both of these assume of course your going in the attire is an accident.

Otakupedia Entries/Suggestions/Discussion thread
Gavin replied to Charles's topic in General Discussion
+ Star Wars 411[/color']
Bah, how could I have forgotten the Star Wars 411 thread, heck I'm the one who usually tries to resurrect it every few months with no success. But definitely this was one of OB's big threads a good while back and worthy of an article, especially myself and Alex arguing that the Empire were in fact the good guys. -
Would you rather be... ...singing in the rain? or ...dancing in the street?
I'll go with dancing in the street, in reality I'd say either would make you look like a complete weirdo, but I prefer to stay dry while I express myself. Roundhouse kicked by Chuck Norris ? Or Roundhouse kicked by Bruce Lee ?
Hmmmm.....I think i'm gonna go with the first choice Gavin. I mean, a guy's gotta eat don't he? Would you rather be stuck in tree for 3 days straight? Or..... Would you rather have your finger eaten off by a antelope?
Heh, that second one kind of came out of nowhere. I'm going with the stuck in a tree for three days, I'd rather have all my digits left intact for the forseeable future. Doritos with a movie ? Or Popcorn with a movie ?
Go to a Wiggles thingy and be chosen to dance up on stage? OR Go to a Barney thingy and be chosen to dance up on stage?
Neither... but having to choose one, I'll go with Barney, simply because it means I can use the stuffy purple T-Rex as some form of stress bag and show children of whatever country I'm in how to deal with these stuffed weirdos.
-Concerning Gavin, the reconstruction of Kumite looks great and i do actually intend on signing up to show my support if nothing more. If it is just myself and Death Knight then the silver lining is it is a better turn out than nobody. I don't know what the source is for the remaining lack of interest, it could be because of holiday hectics or simply because those already involved in the other 2 events have their hands full. Either way Gavin's refusal to go out silently is admirable.
That's good to hear BK, I've had interest from a few other parties, so I do hope it the grand finals of Kumite won't occur quite so soon. On a side note, I've really not had chance to start my Otakupedia article yet, as I've been studying like a madman for my Christmas tests next week. Hopefully however I should have something by Wednesday.
In addition to allowing members to submit their ideas for events? Or instead of? I'm kind of curious as to which direction you are going with this. Because when it comes right down to it, if we allow the members to contribute, as James already stated, they don?t need any type of moderator abilities or such to be able to work with the current Event Master. Especially if only one event is being run at a time. And just to be clear on this I?m for the idea of opening things up so members can contribute ideas and then possibly assist the Event Master with the actual event. I don?t think there is anything wrong with the current event system, but there?s nothing stopping us from making it even better. ^_~
I was thinking more so along the lines of people who's ideas have already been accepted for events and are in motion. The best example would be the Scavenger Hunt from a while back, I'm just thinking that if you're running or even part running the event in question you might need to be able to conduct some moderator activities. The thing about multiple moderators was simply as an idea if we want a bit more activity in the forum, although as you pointed out it's as easy to just give people the ability to post and run the threads with the EM's help. I guess I'm just more used to the Adventure Square's way of doing things, heh. ^_^;
Lose an eye. I'm practically blind in my right one anyway. OK, would you rather eat ramen or eat ice cream? *I'm hungry*
Ice-cream for me, I've never had ramen, and in reality I have no idea what it even is.
Would you rather go through one week smelling like pulled pork. or Go through one week smelling like soy based baby formula for babies with fussy stomachs.
God, I don't event know what each of them smell like, so I'll go with the soy one simply because I'm not a pork fan. By the way Chibi, if you want to note it in your sig, I happen to be a master of Irish Diplomacy, and Malcom in the Middle's Circle Game, but that's another story.
Dude this is like the third time i see this question...... well since i have no choice but to choose i would watch barney and friends cause thats old school. well lets see if i can think of something original. would you rather rather wrestle a bear (or panda) or would you rather wrestle the undertaker in a steel cage match!
Wrestle the Undertaker, wrestling is all faked so win or lose you come out from the fight relatively unscathed, which is more than you can say about the bear fight. Fight Superman ? Or Fight DBZ's Goku ?

Interesting, most interesting. Personally I have to admit I don't see anything wrong with the Community Events forum the way it's currently run, though I do agree with the sentiment that getting a few more events out there designed by members is a good idea as the Event Master can't seriously be expected to provide a new event for the entire boards every month. Maybe a solution would be to have more than one Event Master, or even just promote someone to Event Apprentice or something along those lines to give them the power to run their event properly.
The first Otaku Idol allowed the public to act as a judge.
Just a small note to anyone who may not know this, but Kumite's new system actually means that everyone on OB can be involved via the voting system which allows them to act as judges along side me. Anyone who watches Strictly Come Dancing will have an idea of what I mean as the system is somewhat similar.

Ohio Mother Accused of Microwaving her Baby to Death
Gavin replied to ChibiHorsewoman's topic in General Discussion
Interesting, most interesting. Well I've got to say this has to be one of the most disturbing deaths I've heard of in a long, long time. Despite the fact that I'm an adamant supporter of the "innocent until proven guilty" sentiment, I have to say with what limited facts we have been provided with, it does sound as if the mother was responsible. I hope to God I'm not right, as for any mother to do this to her own child in such an inhumane manner is nearly enough for me to reconsider my position on the death penalty, and that is saying a lot for me to. -
Interesting, most interesting. As a piece of advice, I personally think you should give them up rather than trying to hide the fact that you're smoking. However seeing as you're nearly eighteen, it's your own choice, so really all you need to do is either admit to your parents that you smoke now and have been smoking for a while, or you can continue to try and hide it. Though I do agree with Charles when he says your parents probably know already, and are just waiting for you to be honest enough with them. I've got two younger siblings, one fifteen who smokes and one seventeen who's just given them up, so I do actually know what I'm talking about here.
The race will start mid 2007, thats when all the games will start coming out and they will be on a level playing field with the 360.
I have to disagree vr, by mid 2007 Europe will only have had the PS3 for about two months, which compared to the amount of time Japan and the U.S. will have had it is next to nothing. Really two months will be barely the amount of time required for people to be able to go out and get a PS3 without having to wait for a fortnight before the next shipment will reach their local Gamestop. The only way you'll really be able to compare the three consoles evenly is how they perform in Christmas 2007 when they've all had a chance to be bought and played without huge waits for restock.
