It's the lulz. Gotta be the lulz. Here, let me show ya./font]
Nahh, Kubo has become the undisputed lord of trolling and lulz in recent months, hell the latest chapter if made the ending would be the ultimate manga troll ever. Bleach is for lulz and occasional epic plot, Naruto is for hyper-manly characters and emos getting their asses kicked and Psyren is for epic plot, good pacing and cool characters.

Sometimes I wonder why I still read Naruto. 100,000 Zetsu clones appearing out of nowhere with absolutely no foreshadowing was quite lame, but then Madara is an Uchiha and they are the unsurpassed masters of Plot no Jutsu/Asspull no Jutsu. Madara bleeding out his Bijuu chakra to do this seemed rather out of place with his plan, unless of course the Hachibi and Kyuubi provide the vast majority of the chakra needed to recreate the Jyuubi because inevitably he will lose most of those clones. Island turtle and the Hokage meeting were predictable. Honestly this chapter did nothing for me but then Naruto never does anything for me centred on the Uchiha or Kages outside of Raikage.

I'm genuinely wondering where this new Central 46 came from (or why Yama even bothered to revive the organisation), though Aizen's smugness is understandable given his immortality and I'd be quite curious how many others there are on Level 8 already. You'd think given how flawed an organisation C46 has proven to be Yama would use the opportunity to replace it with something a bit more transparent, although his general intractability regarding rules is probably the reason. Yama and co. antics were vaguely humorous, I'm amazed Byakuya has found the ability to speak back to the Commander and Shunsui's face was pretty funny throughout. Ukitake's appearance having had a fist driven through his chest cavity without apparent long-term damage was a bit annoying too, perhaps Orihime was involved. I am still bothered that Soul Society took no losses at any time during FKT, made the entire Arrancar arc feel overhyped and well boring. Status Quo is God. Moving to Ichigo and co, yeah I agree that was the only decent part of the chapter (aside from Orihime being her retarded self as usual). The explanation of why Ichigo's dangai trip is no longer in effect doesn't really make any sense but then Kubo has given us his view on logic. Ichigo and Rukia being unable to see one another has been dealt with but the parting moment was pretty sweet and hopefully a sign that Kubo has picked one major pairing over the other conclusively. 3 weeks to the next chapter, I'm expecting something new at least. He should've had Ichigo kill Aizen after he said "I'll end this in an instant" when he was actually capable of doing so instead of continuously baiting Aizen and allowing him to evolve to the point Ichigo was pushed to use something as flawed as Mugetsu. Sealing Aizen away instead of actually killing him, and robbing Ichigo of all his development, in addition to making Urahara the true hero, just felt so pointless in the grand scale of things. At this point we know we're going to see the introduction of the Royal Guard in the next arc, and probably a training arc for Ichigo as he regains his old/acquires new powers for the inevitable showdown with the big bad. After Deicide though I can't see a logical path for Bleach to take that makes any sense that doesn't involve some tremendous asspulls. On the even worse side, apparently Hinamori survived the events of FKT, either that or Hitsugaya has completely lost the plot. The Old Man being alive bugs me as well because it's a blatant Status Quo move.

Well spoilers for this week are out and
the maxim of No Good Guys die in Bleach remains firmly in place, apparently Rukia has also forgotten about gigai to visit Ichigo from time to time and we're treated to a three-week break while Kubo comes up with new material to make the ending look like something other than a blatant FMA rip-off.
Whoopee.

...right. Moving along. Seriously, WTF is that?

I'm not sure to be honest, I got the feeling the curb stomp was to show just how ridiculously OP Melchesse Nova is, and that being the antithesis of Miroku's own power made it impossible for him to win against Ageha in the same vein he did against Grana. Did feel perhaps a little too set up, so I guess we'll find out next week.
I always thought Shirosaki and Zangetsu were one in the same, at least that's what I remember Shirosaki saying the time when Ichigo was training to take control over him.
Indeed, that's my own thought process but you know how Kubo feels about logic.
-
Yup, looks like it'll be a few chapters before we get the whole story about what's happened post-fight. Ichigo's flip-out should also be quite interesting, most fans are betting Shirosaki is back,

*Uses Life Card on the thread* So what's the plan gentlemen ?
-
Loving some of the theories coming out in the wake of this chapter, such as the idea Ichigo is going to take Kyouka Suigetsu to replace Zangetsu as his zanpakutou. Yammy being off-panelled by Kenpachi and Byakuya has also elicited quite the fury from the former's fans.

Spoilers for this week look very interesting, and end with a very surprising
death for Miroku apparently.

Speaking of, I'm not sure I want to know what Madara was doing to Nagato's corpse.
Whatever it was, Nagato still had his smile afterwards.

I lawled immensely. That's quite the Rape-Face too actually.
Aizen has officially made me cautious of all villains who has a calm demeanor. I will never jump the gun and say they are one of my favorites again until I see how they go out.
Funnily enough most of the "calm villains" I've seen ShÅ Hayami (Aizen's seiyuu) play end up completely losing their cool just before their deaths. Wonder if it's a contractual obligation for him. Still not a huge fan of this week's chapter and honestly the art didn't really sell me on it any more than the spoilers alone.
-
Black Nova huh ? I really wonder if Kubo, Kishi and Iwashiro have a conference call each week to decide what they're going to write. Still it should indeed be an epic fight, and I like getting a bit more into Miroku's head.
-
Yep, apparently it's some training flashback or something with Yahiko going on about how he'll change the world. Madara's mask is just the Jyuubi eye, which was to be expected I guess.
-
I would say given Aizen is being sealed away the fight is only over for now. I imagine we'll see Aizen reappear in about a hundred or two hundred chapters as a minion for some other much greater evil that's out there. Still not the ending anyone wanted I would imagine.
-
Condensing all this week's chapter down into a single sentence:
Madara got the Rinnegan and is going after Naruto, Konan had her flashback.

-
Spoilers this week seem a bit meh to be honest.
Ichigo fails to kill Aizen with Mugetsu and is about to get exterminated when Urahara shows up to save the day with anti-Hougyoku kidou. Batman and Superman, I mean Urahara and Aizen argue as Aizen's transformations are rolled back and he is finally sealed away.
Given how epic Kubo made Ichigo look I'm quite disappointed that was how it ended.

Sounds awesome Boo, we have a similar programme over here called Erasmus for students who want to go study in a college abroad (mandatory for language students). I'd recommend Ireland but if the two of us got together I think the partying would cause me to flunk this semester.

Well we're getting a "short" arc next after this (unless that was Deicide) and then a much longer one and supposedly Isshin is to be the major focus of one of them. Given Ichigo has just got cool again I want to see him get back his power and resolve, but it would be nice to see a bit more about Isshin and Shinigami who were around when he was active.
