A few people tried really hard to fit into a label (because you are what you wear, after all)
Unless your school has a uniform policy in which case almost everyone looks exactly the same, save for my schools in which the girls had a different uniform to the lads, the girls wore skirts and blue, we wore pants and wine. My new school is pretty much the same except it's all boys but seniors have the cooler black jumper as opposed the juniors red. So to that extent it's not so much "You are what you wear." Actually in my old school a lot of the nerds were big guys, I stand somewhere around 6'1" so it was kind of hard for people to take the piss out of you when you're a good 3/4 inches taller than them. Mostly people just hung around with their respective groups and we all got on well, some people even floated from group to group because at the end of the day you've enough shite in your life to deal with in school without labels too.
Yeah, I wanted the race to be like aliens, but also not predictable. At the time I was thinking of something like Klingons[/SIZE']
I actually had the same thoughts when I was writing my first reply, there was a very Klingon-esque feel to it, the whole wanting to fight an enemy on equal terms. Also reminds me of the Aschen from Stargate, remember those guys who give Earth the technology to help them defeat the Goa'uld only the life lengthening formula makes them sterile. No wars, no conquering, just walking in after they're all dead. Anyway it's still a great idea and I look forward to seeing it in action, might I suggest you also consider the Control Centre from Stargate Atlantis as a possibility.
First, I'd like to point out that I just ate a pizza roll that had nothing in it.[/font']
That happened to me with a supposedly chicken and stuffing sandwich once, oh how I loath people who do such things, they should be shot without trial.
Second, I was wondering what everyone does on election day. Did you vote? Will you stay up for the results? Will you party if one thing happens and/or break things if it doesn't? Do you live in the U.S. and not care? Why? Do you live outside the U.S. and care? Why?[/font']
Well last I heard the results won't be known until around 6:00 AM GMT so there's really no point in me staying up to watch, I might get up a little early to see if I can catch the results but more than likely I'll over sleep. I'm personally hoping for Kerry even though I'd traditionally be a conservative and the Republicans stand for a lot of the things that conservative's stand for. Most of this has to do with the fact I don't like much of Bush's policies (mainly in favour of the rich) and the suffering he's caused in Iraq (100,000 dead as reported by the John Hopkin's University) for the non-existent WMDs. If there was a better Republican candidate one who actually looked as those he knew what he was doing and could speak properly then I'd route for him/her but as it stands Kerry is the better candidate in my opinion. I'm 100% Irish so there's no chance of me voting (even though there's about 80/90 million Irish people in America) and if Kerry wins then many people in Ireland and the rest of the world will be very happy at the result. If Bush wins again then I suppose we in Europe are going to have to put up with being called Old Europe with those ex-communist states who are scrambling to join the E.U. are being called New Europe.
So many questions. I indeed voted, and there are two things I'm interested in, mainly. 1. Who will the president be? 2. Will there be a constitutional ban on gay marriage?
1] Hopefully Kerry although it could go either way depending on voter turn-out. 2] I don't know and realistically I don't care, here in Ireland abortion is still illegal and by God it's going to stay illegal if I have any hand in it.
I'm probably going to stay up, because I'm in a college dorm that is fairly divided. I expect screams of joy and exultation in harmony with curses and the sounds of glass shattering, all around 2:00 A.M. and for hours afterwards. I can't wait, especially with my 8:00 A.M. chemistry lab tomorrow. Oh man, I'm pumped.[/font']
Well whatever happens all the people in Ireland are going to have to put up with the same ****** leaders and dodgy economics we wake up to every year. Damn without the WYSIWYG editor that was hard to quote.
I'm just glad that this thread exists because it got some Tatu fans banned off the boards. Truly striking a blow for justice against people with questionable taste!
Well we've had these threads a few times, as you can probably see from the very bottom of the thread itself, something I only noticed recently. Most of the time it's supporters are usually just guys who think that the two girls are sexy because they're lesbians (or were not as the case was) and so thought their music was brilliant as well as people who thought it was great to see such controversy. Again a duo based on controversy and not talent. I don't even think the banning was really part of it as that just happened because someone was being insulting, and I think everyone here (except the person who got banned) obviously were against that. Heck if we were to go around calling everyone by the racially insulting name of their people I'd be known as Mick or Paddy or something along those lines of stupidity.

Interesting, most interesting. I'm going to side with James and Siren on this issue here, personally I think that it's the liberal attitude to guns in America that makes it such a dangerous country. I wouldn't be the first person to take a swing at Michael Moore, neither would I be the first person to throw a rock at him, some of his points I agree with, some I don't. When people base their ideals off people like Moore I think the important thing to remember is that he is very, very biased in his opinions, yes he does mix comedy into to try and make you forget this but it's still biased. One of the things I noticed about gun use and ownership in America through watching different documentaries and reading newspaper articles, is the sheer level it's promoted at. I mean it would seem that in America the gun is the ultimate "must have" item without which you will get robbed and/or shot. If I remember correctly a statistic brought up was that gun owners in the U.S. are 72% more likely to shoot a family member than anyone else. This echoes Alex's point about having a gun but keeping it unloaded and locked away lest a child God-forbid get at it and accidentally shoot someone. I can understand that people may want to have a gun to go hunting, I have gone hunting before with my father and a few of my cousins but there is no need for someone to own a fully automatic rifle. Where is the need to own an M-16, or a sub machine gun, you're not going to use them for hunting, at least most people wouldn't unless you're Uncle Jimbo from South Park. I personally don't see the need for a person to own a handgun, you are more likely to shoot a family member, if you think that someone is breaking into your house, you will panic. If you decide to use a gun while panicking you may actually fire at someone without meaning to, the result you may kill a family member who was just coming in. I know that's a little extreme but with almost 12,000 gun deaths in America and quite a few due to accidents I think it's a fair point. Here in Ireland people do hunt, I have gone hunting with my father and cousins from time to time, but here gun control is far more strict than in the States. A person has the right to purchase a gun once they're eighteen, before this they have to apply for a gun license issued by the Gardaí (the police), they then have to wait two weeks after paying for the gun to get it while the gun retailer gets a background check and after that they have to reapply for a gun license every year. As well as this in Ireland you can only purchase hunting rifles and shotguns, no pistols, no sub-machine guns, no fully automatics and we have only like 20-25 gun deaths per year and most of that is due to organised criminals with the above that are illegal in Ireland. Guns don't make a society safe, it they did America would be the safest country in the world.

Interesting, most interesting. Well out of the above if I had a gun put to my head to make a choice I'd probably go for Queen, there's just something about their music that makes you listen to it over an over. To be honest though my favourite Classic Rock group would be Thin Lizzy, yes I can already hear people say that I'm biased because they're Irish but the thing is that they just have great music in my opinion. Stuff like "The Boys are back in Town" will always been classic, Queen though come in a very close second.

Personally I'm kind of on the fence for this, there have been times when I've absolutely been addicted to playing certain Final Fantasy games and times when I get very irritated very quickly at it. I definitely agree with Siren on this one, the game defines the experience, Final Fantasy VI is without a doubt the best of the series I've played so far, the characters felt much more human and even the plotline seemed to be plausable (yes even as far fetched as it was). However when I played Final Fantasy VIII I found myself tearing at my hair because of the sheer dire nature of the game, there was not one thing I actually liked about VIII beyond the cut-scenes. Final Fantasy X is a bit of a neutral in my books, I actually enjoyed it even if it wasn't as good as say VI or VII, the Sphere Trials did bring the game down slightly though I think that some of the characters did compensate for this. Tidus in my books will always go down as the typical hero character, the young fellow who comes along, realises his potential and then kicks the living crap out of every evil doer in his path, of yes and he gets the girl. Yes the ending of X does sort of negate that but you can see what I mean, personally I regard X as being somewhere between VI and VIII in terms of playability and fun. The graphics of X didn't really make a huge impact on my thoughts of it, yes I do enjoy looking at nice backgrounds and dodgy graphics never sits well with me but I think it didn't really count all that much in favour of X. In the end I think the Final Fantasy series always has to be taken with a pinch of salt depending on what game you're playing, the boring nature of levelling up may not sit well with action fans but Vi managed to do it without making it tedious. Music and atmosphere are always high points in almost every Final Fantasy games also, the Balamb Garden background music is one of the most calming tunes I've ever heard. Great at times, awful at times.
I was having lots of fun though, especially with the
very cinematic car-chase cut-scenes, what with that huge truck chasing you. I was very intimidated, but kept calm with Big Smoke's humorous speeches. And don't take me for a fool here, I idiotically got my friend to tell me what the first twist was, so I know I was going to be a bit shocked. ^_~
[Z]
Did anyone else who played that mission feel a bit like they were watching Terminator II when that happened ? I mean it just seems to have been almost lifted straight out of the film and pasted into the game, part classic film nostalgia, part mindless killing of "Russkies" on motorcycles.

Interesting, most interesting. I agree with Baron and Corey on this one, this is something that can help us look back more accurately on our own past, something that will always be important. I've also taken Biology for the Leaving Certificate (Irish A Levels equivalent) and I can safely say that I am very, very far from knowing everything there is to know about Biology. I personally doubt there's anyone on this planet who knows everything about Biology as we spend out entire lives learning.
My school is rather unique. We have all the stereotypes, but there are no rivalries. The jocks are friends with the goths. The ghetto people are cool with the preps. The nerds are some of the more popular ones. And then there's people like me that really don't fit into any specific catagory, we're friends with everyone. I go to an arts school. I'm not really a fan of stereotyping. I think it's a waste of time and in most cases does result in problems. People should just learn to get along, even though it will never happen.
My old school was pretty much the same, even though the divisions were there, there wasn't any animosity between sides, often the "jocks" would go to the "nerds" for help with their homework. I agree with Corey on the issue of stereotypes, there's no need for that kind of stupidity to single out people or groups because they're different, it's childish and at the end of the day people who do it end up looking like fools in later life.

Interesting, most interesting. I agree with Angelus it's definitely something interesting, even though it follows the usual path of most sci-fi ideas it is rather unique in parts of the plot put forward. The idea of a race of being who possibly value the challenge of a strong enemy is something we rarely see in Sci-Fi, in Star Trek the Borg merely conquer and assimilate, in Star Wars the Vong did the same. The plot behind it is definitely sound and I look forward to seeing it in the Inn.

Boardwalk Café Everyday I see her, she sits in the most elegant pose, sipping away at her lunchtime coffee, the yards that separated us might well span miles for I can never pluck up the courage to speak to her. Her eyes, her cheeks, her lips, an angel in it's truest description, and I the lone gargoyle hidden away in the shadows, crushed by fear, torn by love, self loathing for my cowardice. If I were even able to make the most subtle gesture she might notice me, a glance in my direction might break me lose from this petrifying fear. If this is to be my Hell then I should serve it gladly for all eternity, for even the sight of her is better than an eternity of bliss without her. My own drink has long since gone cold, the waitress returns asking if I want a fresh one but I don't even realise she is there. My thoughts are completely on her, the Aphrodite of this world, I continue this destructive cycle, rending my very being in pain and misery, if it is not to be so then let her spell over me be broken. She gets up from the light wooden seat, her coffee finished, her break ended, dare I now go to speak with her. I watch her figure form move out into the open sunlight, the golden reflection from her hair, the ruby sparkle of her lips and the angelic form that is her body. My phone blares from my jacket pocket but every fibre of my being is focused on her, out of character I decide to answer it, something I had never done before, I had interrupted the cycle... And in those few precious seconds my entire world changed, the screeching tires, the scream echoing from the street, my angel lying motionless on the path, her hair now becoming flooded by the darkened crimson of her life force. I drop the phone and rush to her, my fear cannot hold me back now, pushing through the crowd I reach to her side, tears stinging my eyes. I take her hand in mine and rub my finger across her forehead, her eyes meet mine and my words flow like the water of a burst dam. "I love you..." Her eyes flicker and in that moment I know that she has known my feelings all along, she as fearful to speak to me as I to her. And in that moment my angel was taken from me, to ascent into heaven with those like her, and I left to exist in this Hell, my heart torn asunder, my breathing ragged, but I must go on. For some reason he felt she would have wanted him to...

I actually only got a chance to read a short kind of sneak-peek of Shatterpoint at the end of one of the New Jedi Order books, interesting and if I get the chance I'll probably have a read of it. Has anyone noticed that in the DVD version of A New Hope Vader's "eyes" (or whatever you'd call them) are tinted red instead of the normal black, I wonder if it was a mistake or something intentional since they're black in both the new ESB and ROTJ. Maybe I'm just a Star Wars purist but has anyone else been very distracted when they watch the movies, little differences making it hard to stay focused without think "There's another change" ?

Interesting, most interesting. Apart from my OB marriage I've never actually tried an online relationship, companionship is one thing but to try and build a stable relationship over the net would be something I wouldn't be keen on trying. About 14 months ago I tried a long distance relationship with a girl I met on holidays, we started going out at night while on holidays but she lived at one end of the country and I lived at the other so in the end it didn't work out. Maybe it's just me but I'd have to be able to see the person on a regular basis for a relationship to work.
Somehow San Andreas manages to feel a lot more real, in terms of characters. I have absolutely no interest in LA gangs or anything, but San Andreas still manages to give me some interest in its story. So I think that's saying something, considering that I'd otherwise have absolutely no interest in the setting and situation.
I found the same thing when I got into San Andreas, the brother bought it on Friay when it had it's Irish release and I've managed to get in about an hour here and there. In Vice City you really don't care about Tommy or his past, he was merely just some ex-con in a city that screwed him over and you were to make him your weapon for retribution. However in San An I find that I'd actually pay seriosu attention to what Sweet or Big Smoke would have to say about Los Santos and the history of Grove Street. I actually find that sometimes the diversity of the missions can take away from what Grand Theft Auto is about,
the Lowrider mission that Sweet sends you on had me tearing my hair out because I didn't know what do do.
But then again I suppose it's just adding to the variety to keep San An feel fresh and more interesting for longer.
Wow. Heh, when I first saw your name after you registered, I thought it meant that you were a small, horse-like woman. Like some kind of anime character or something. o_O But that clears that up. lol
Heh you weren't the only one to make that mistake James, I also made that assumption about what the name meant. I guess we each have diffferent understandings about what other people's username reflects, I wouldn't be half surprised if a bunch of people regarded me as a WWE Wrestling addict, even though my username has nothing to do with said wrestler.

Kane was pinned down somewhere in the borders between the Adventure Square and OB Anthology, n00b forces in Mech. Units had already turned most of the area into a wasteland and killed a number of newbies foolish enough to get in their line of sight. His blaster rifle was already over heating from the amount of retaliatory fire he was forced to use to cover remaining civilians from being logged-out permanently, taking a chance he switched from Robot to Vehicle mode in the hope that a larger moving target might provide more sport to the intruders. Kane: [Swerves from enemy fire] God dammit it if I get through this I'm seriously asking James for that promotion... Reaching what was probably part of an Anthology thread he returned to normal mode and let off a few pop-shots to get the enemy mechs at bay, too late however he turned to meet the energy blade of a n00b piloted Gundam. The blade dug deep into his shoulder before he had a chance to respond and rip the pilot from the Mech. crushing him in his large metallic fist. Trying to move his shoulder resulting in two things, sparks and a heck of a lot of pain, he'd have retreat without covering what newbies were left, he was no use to them dead. Some hours later Kane found himself laying on a repair pad having just come around after collapsing at the edge of ally held territory, many of his old friends were around him, kinda made him feel as if he were dead. He watched the repair arms ascend back into the repair module before checking his shoulder, not only was it repaired but they'd replaced a damaged rotator joint in his arm. KnightoftheRose: You're lucky you made it out in one piece you crazy son of a gun, once the repairs are finished you should be able to get up and around after about 72 hours. Kane swore at the thought of this, he needed to fight, he'd been on OB long enough to give could a lot of damn about whether or no some N00b army from hell could come about and wreck up what might some day be his forum. Lying back on the large table equipped for him he shut his eyes and went into stand-by mode for a few minutes, that peace was broken by the sound of the alert over his comm. unit. Shakily moving he rose from the bed and made a beeline for the door, if he ever made it home from this he'd have to ask James for that promotion.
Am I the only one envisioning Tokyo 3 as a Neo-Tokyo from TimeSplitters, or Blade Runner-esque? Something tech-grungy, you know? Rain falling, trash and newspapers blowing in the streets...really future-grunge feel to it. The n00bs are like junkies, laying on the sidewalk, craving their next hit of Naruto or whatever. Tech-noir would really provide a nice feel to the Anime Forum section in the RPG, I think. ^_^
Oh yeah you're really onto something there Alex, the whole junkie "noob" army from Hell would be an interesting little challenge for the Mods to fend off. The kind of run-down-urban-hell of the future would be a pretty interesting staging area for some parts of Enter the Game. Perhaps even borrow ideas from Terminator or Johnny Mnemonic. Since we're batting around ideas for the looks of the different forums might I suggest that the Arena be based off something like a massive dome shaped Arcade. All the different RPG sounds echoing out from the different "games" in progress from their respective booths, blue neon light splashing over everything. Give each room the chance to customise their sign up booths from retro-horror to old skool action, even to highlights of RPGs from that day. You could even go for an extreme-sports feel to it, maybe a skateboarding park with a kind of hacker feel to it, maybe a night time street racing scene a lá The Fast and the Furious. It's up to you man but I know whatever you pick it's going to kick some serious ***

Interesting, most interesting. There's quite a few things that annoy me. 1) Smokers: I saw my granduncle die from lung cancer four months ago and now my younger brother has taken up smoking too, that adds him to the club of my mother and grandmother. 2) The Simpsons: It's gotten old it just needs to crawl under some rock and die horribly 3) People who insult the Christian Church without logical reasoning: What gives them the right to do so ? 4) Religious extremists who believe everyone must be exactly like them: See above. 5) People who abuse animals: They should be shot without trial. 6) Irish Jokes: Or jokes based to on any race or nationality for that matter. 7) Threads regarding Abortion/Gay Marriage/what-have-you: We've have enough of them already. 8) Pop Idol: If I ever meet Simon Cowell in real life he's a dead man. 9) America's foreign policy which leads to consistent suffering on those who do not deserve it: Such as the 17,000 Iraqi who are now dead thanks to Dubya as well as those in Afghanistan and those who suffered thanks to previous administrations. 10) People who use others: You will have a very lonely life. 11) People who mock others to seem cool: You're only showing how low your self-esteem is. 12) Welfare parasites: People who completely abuse a system that's there to help those in need. 13) Fianna Fáil: Corrupt useless bastards to the nth degree. 14) The state of modern Ireland thanks to the above: It's an insult to those who fought for our freedom. 15) Modern versions of the I.R.A: They spit on the memory of those above. 16) Many, many other things... Damn I'm an angry guy, I should probably seek help.

Actually Shin I think Solo is right, if memory serves that is the multiplayer mode from Super Mario Bros. 3, heh it brings back memories from when I had it for the N.E.S. My brother and I would often just play it for about 2 hours straight to settle an argument over who was better Luigi (whom I always backed) or his chubby brother Mario. Heh good times...

Interesting, most interesting. I think this is sheer genius Bill and I absolutely mean that, the sheer potential of this RPG boggles the mind if the right people get involved in it. Personally I disagree with Boo's point, the lack of a set storyline gives the chance for people to really get creative with the events as they unfold. Yes some people may have trouble without any guidelines to structure their writing but I could see this unfolding to be one of the best RPGs in Otakuboards' history.

Well that's that edited with a very fine bio if I do say so myself. Character Sheet Name: Malcolm Kane, known mostly as just Kane. Gender: Male Age: Early 30s Appearance: As pretty much seen here, Malcolm almost always has some kind of a cheeky grin on his face in anticipation of his next battle. Personality: Enigmatic, charismatic, closet genius, there are plenty of big words to describe Kane?s personality that wouldn?t really do, in truth the simplest way to describe Kane is as an adventurer. He looks to just put himself out there and get into the thick of things, an adrenaline junkie as one ex-girlfriend called him, equally descriptive though he prefers the former to the latter. In battle Kane is at his best, totally immersed, nothing else matters beyond the thrill of the fight, victory in nice but in the end it doesn?t really matter as far as he?s just as to fight as to win. Out of the battlefield he?s pretty much the same guy though a little less focused, kind and caring with a wry sense of humour. He likes to spend his time either enjoying life outside the battlefield or tinkering around with some new mods on his Gun Blaster, can be a bit arrogant but doesn?t really mean to be. Pilot Ranking: Z.B.C Registration Number: ZRN-23287-AC Biography/Personal History: Kanetic, it?s hard to talk about Zoids today without mentioning their name, founded over sixty years ago Kanetic is one of the largest Zoid and Parts production companies in the entire Confederation, to which Malcolm is now the sole heir. Growing up Malcolm was surrounded by everything his wealth brought him, influence, prominence and loneliness; it is a strange twist of fate that the cause of his loneliness would also be the means with which he could banish it. His parents were socialites, they enjoyed nothing more than the extravagance their riches had brought them, often they would leave him on his own for hours while they were entertained by the rich and powerful of the Confederation. Malcolm on the other hand had no time for such nonsense, his grandfather Martin who had helped found Kanetic with his father (Malcolm's great-grandfather) also felt the same way, and he often said how horrible it was to see his son become so elitist in nature. Though his grandfather held all power to Kanetic he knew that his son would run the company into the ground if he ever got his hands on it, Malcolm on the other hand was seen by his grandfather to be the perfect candidate, inspired by stories of combat as well as spending a great deal of time learning the inner workings of the company. It is funny that his father never even got a chance to learn that Malcolm would inherit the company before him, his father and mother were killed in a helicopter crash roughly two months before his 16th birthday. Left now with only his grandfather and guardian Malcolm threw his whole being into making Kanetic as successful as it could possibly be, he would spend hours with the R&D technicians working on new part and Zoid schematics, always eager to continue the legacy. Though still a young man under Malcolm?s stewardship the company reached record profit levels, much of which went to different charities Malcolm created to help those less fortunate than he had been, at least financially. From as early as 12 Malcolm had been involved in ZBC sanctioned battles, though a rookie he did show potential, his wealth afforded as well as his company?s niche allowed him to choose almost any Zoid imaginable. He picked a Genosaurer to begin with, an infamous Zoid though not nearly as infamous as it?s evolution, Malcolm found himself thrust into a world where money or influence had no bearings. It is in the cockpit that Malcolm truly felt alive, as though it was what he was born to do, by the time he had taken over the family business in the aftermath of his parents death he had reached the A Class of the ZBC?s League, his Genosaurer was considered deadly to all those reckless enough to face it without preparation. Though Malcolm was considered a tough opponent he was not invincible, he frequently lost matches against Zoid pilots with more skill or luck than him, for Malcolm though a victory was only an added bonus in a match. However when Malcolm was twenty-five his grandfather died of heart attack, this left Malcolm as the only Kane, and as such the sole heir to the Kanetic Corporation and it's fortune. Having resided at the top of the S Class for a number of months in the advent of his grandfather?s death Malcolm decided to announce his retirement, though he did say that he might return one day. For the next eight years Malcolm took Kanetic firmly by the reigns, he lowered the cost of low level Zoids in the knowledge that it would attract new talent to the ZBC, and make Zoid Battles accessible to the common teen, who often proved to be some of the best talent in the league. With this influx into the Arena Malcolm knew he?d have to work closer with the ZBC in order to help make Zoid Combat more challenging than it was, his efforts as well as those on ZBC Research Team led to the creation of Z.S.S. or Zoids: Survivor Series. Unfortunately for Malcolm his Genosaurer had been practically totalled in a match against one of Kanetic?s new creations, deciding that he didn?t want to return in the same Zoid he?d been S Class Champion in Malcolm took the remnants of an old Gun Blaster. And into this Zoid he poured [strike]his cruelty, his malice and his will to dominate all life...[/strike] all that he was, in return his Gun Blaster surpassed everything he could have expected from it, truly it was the Zoid worthy to announce his return. Painting it in the same colours of his old Genosaurer Malcolm announced his intention to return to Zoid Combat. Zoid Sheet Type: Gun Blaster Top speed: 210 Km/h (170 without the boosters) Appearance: Here Looks pretty much like your average Gun Blaster apart from the modifications and a sleeker paint job, the navy coloured area around the Gun Blaster?s mid section has been replaced by a dark copper metallic paint which in the right conditions can somewhat camouflage the Gun Blaster. The white parts as well as the feet and lower mouth have been replaced by a dark metallic grey which provides nothing beyond aesthetic pleasure to Kane. The golden metallic paint on the cannons, as well as the paint on the Body Spikes and the Magnums have been replaced by a metallic silver, again just for aesthetics. Height: 8.1 meters Length: 19 meters Weapons: Large Cannon Array, Hardened Alloy Body Spikes, Hardened Alloy Teeth and Horn Special Abilities: Megalo-Max Blast (Focused and Dispersed), High-Strength Omni-Directional Shield Support Systems: 2x MX-13 Magnums mounted to the back right and left hips, due to the nature of Kane?s custom Gun Blaster he has also had several parts of the Zoid revamped to better perform. The leg units of the GB have been practically ripped out and rebuilt giving the Gun Blaster much better manoeuvrability as well as a speed boost, on top of this in the rear of the Zoid he?s had a special set of boosters put in. The four although small are set into key areas of the body to also increase speed and mobility, the first two are mounted directly at the back of the Zoid and when activated increase speed by 30 Km/h. The remaining two although only increasing speed by 5 Km/h each are positioned in such as way as to allow the Gun Blaster to make turns more quickly at speeds than it would normally be capable of. All in all Kane?s Gun Blaster is quite dangerous in it?s own right.
The thing is that my name still fits me. I still ride horses and I'm still shorter than Lincoln, and last time I checked I'm still a woman. It's just that I think the whole thing is so damn long. Oh man, I know what else I remember...the first gay marriage thread I did where this one kid said that if you support gay marriage you support people and animals getting married. Amazingly enough that thread lasted about 7 pages before being shut down.
Well what I meant by that was people who picked names like Vegetalover932 (I'm only using that as an example) who then after settling in here on OB decided that they didn't want to be known as Vegetalever932 because it seemed a very "noobish" name. I'm still not sure I've gotten down what I'm trying to say but I hope you get the gist of it. As for the second part I think we should have a campaign to put a time limit on such threads, say once every 6 months rather than once every 6 weeks.

Interesting, most interesting. I agree with James on this one, if Michael had just shrugged off the content it probably wouldn't have had much attention paid to it but then again we can't be sure because of all the controversy surrounding him at the moment. Personally I was never a fan of Eminem and his music, or that kind of music in general for that matter, I think he's had his day in the limelight and now he should just fade back without incident. I do kind of feel sorry for him over the recent suicide of his uncle which also may have an impact on his career.
The legal system nowadays is so clogged with stupid cases like Prince Harry vs Sue-Happy Photographer[/b'] that it's no wonder that it takes weeks to get a parking ticket taken care of, etc.
I've actually seen a few different takes on what happened between Harry and the photographer and from what I can make out Harry was in the wrong at the time. I can understand the fact that he lost his mother due to a bunch of paparazzi and the whole drug taking issue a while back, more recently he'd even been accused of cheating in his A-Levels. I can understand him losing his cool but in the end he was wrong and that photographer deserves his day in court.
