1. Interesting... most interesting. I actually didn't read the title properly and I thought it said "Hardest Boss Fights" though this makes it far more interesting as I've had a few more Memorable Boss fights than I have Hardest. Well enough ranting onto the listing them as I always do. Desann from Jedi Outcast: He will be one of the most memorable bosses I've ever fought because the whole game was just building up the lightsaber duel between himself and Kyle.
After my initial fight with him near the beginning of the game where you think he kills Jan I was just waiting to fight him again
. He wasn't the toughest boss to beat, actually he was although after you get the hang on fighting him he's not all that tough.
I still maintain the fun way to kill him is to drop the pillar on him
. Ganon from Legend of Zelda - The Wind Waker: Not an exceptionally tough battle, though I wouldn't have called any battle in that game tough
except maybe the Ganon when he's the snake and you have to hit is tail
. I think the whole visuals of the game and it's characters are what makes it memorable for me, the whole game really was just more laid back and in my opinion fun that the Zelda series has been in a while. Sonny from Vice City: OK my memory is shot at this stage and it actually took me like five minutes to think of this one. I thought is was actually interesting that he popped up at the end of the game, I actually wasn't expecting it. Overall it was an interesting ending to the storyline of the game the whole
Lance turning traitor was totally unexpected but was still a surprise, to be honest I thought he was going to be the one who tried to take over in the end
. Again not a very tough boss fight I find that if you stand on a certain part of the floor just outside Tommy's office
you'll only have to kill maybe 2 or 3 goons before Lance appears
. Hmm there are probably more but I just can't think of them as this moment in time.
2. Well I've never really been a big Key Chain fan, often I find I lose it as easily as I lose my keys, often when both are attached together. But if I did have to pick a favourite I'd go for the one of Darth Vader I got out of a Lucky Bag or something along those lines. Looking back it was actually quite small, no more than maybe five or six centimetres long, but I was big into Star Wars at that age so it was one of the coolest things I had. In the end I think it got stolen along with my wallet so that was the end of it. One of my new favourite Key Chains is one of an old NES controller I got in an issue of Nintendo Official Magazine UK a while back, it's made of rubber and there is one funky smell of it. My only gripe with it is the smell and the fact that it's just not my Vader key chain, which I'd got quite attached to. Well I guess that's my little rant done.
3. Hmm interesting... Well I'm sort of on the fence for this one, personally I loved Final Fantasy VII it was a gem of a game that was a real treat to play, but I?m always a little wary when Square decide to tread waters that they aren?t exactly proficient at. I mean look at Final Fantasy: The Spirits Within, Square had at that stage was it 9 or 10 games with some great storylines to choose from, VI or VII anyone ? and they decided to just go off on a tangent and make this. The fact is that Square and Enix are RPG makers, that is their territory of expertise and to be honest that is where I?d like to see them stay, this is unless Dirge of Cerberus brings to Square?s action games what VII brought to their RPGs. I?m hopeful but not expectant. As for the whole Vincent May Cry comments I?m going to agree with Alex here, from the context of what has been said this game does sort of sound like Devil May Cry. Yes Vincent is a gun-slinger, I?m not going to use the word Goth because honestly I wouldn?t describe him that way, yes he is dark and brooding but I?m not sure if I would associate him with being a Goth. I do agree that Dante may have parts of his character borrowed from Vincent but there are differences between them as characters. It will be for the lack of a better term a Dark 3rd Person Action Game, and so I think the Vincent May Cry comments may be slightly warranted if not 100% accurate.
4. Hmm interesting... I'm not sure which games I'd classify as timeless, and those that I found fun to just go back and play for a few days in a act of nostalgia. I suppose though that my timeless games are to be found on a wide variety of consoles ranging from the Sega Megadrive to the Nintendo 64 even as far as the Gamecube and Play Station 2. I can?t really think of every great game that I?ve played so I?m just going to pick a few off the top of my head. Streets of Rage: Well Streets of Rage came as part of a Three-in-One cart when my father bought the Megadrive for my brother and I, I'd say it was one of the first games that I ever just sat and played for hours. Dave and I just used to play this for ages trying to beat it in a faster time than before, I think our record was 4 hours or somewhere around there. I don?t know I just found it to be a very addictive little game, which I still find fun to go back today and play. On a side note I learned that the music to Streets of Rage was a step up in terms of anything that had been done before, or something along those lines. GoldenEye 64: One of the most addictive games I have ever played and very nearly one of the best, it pains me to think that by releasing GoldenEye II they?re grossly insulting one of the Nintendo 64?s finest games just to cash in on the name. Everything about GoldenEye was exceptional in it?s class, that may be a mingling of fact and nostalgia but it?s still fairly accurate, the combat, the character, the multiplayer mode. This game set the bar to which all Movie-Game conversions should set their standard to, hell I don?t think there?s ever been a better James Bond Multiplayer experience than this. Jedi Knight II - Jedi Outcast: Alright I?ll admit that as a Star Wars fanatic I may be slightly biased in my opinion of this, but since this is based on our opinions I guess that makes no difference. I?ve played plenty of Star Wars games to know a gem when I play one, and ladies and gentlemen this is the bloody 4-inch diamond of the lot. There was just so much to this game to appeal to even a non-Star Wars fan, I mean come on how many people don?t want to wield a lightsaber even if it is only in a videogame. The storyline to this game was slightly weak but sequels do tend to have that problem, now by weak I mean FFX weak not crappy weak. The combat and Force Powers were one of the coolest experiences I?ve ever had and my only gripe is that I have to wait another 4 months to play the sequel when I get a new computer. Grand Theft Auto ? Vice City: Mindless Killing anyone ?, this was the game that made the PS2 GTAs fun again, GTA III wasn?t fun and I?m not afraid to say it, the game had a lot of things that needed polishing to make it a game like Vice City. When I first actually played Vice City I remember it took me a few minutes to get used to the colouring of the game, everything was just so 80s bright and funky and it actually took a few days to appreciate it compared to the drab graphics of GTA III. I just found this to epitomise Mindless Killing in videogames, you?re driving along the street listening to too much V-Rock when you get the urge to just murder a few dozen people for no reason. The story, graphics and mechanics rocked and I really hope GTA: SA is to VC what VC was to III. Well that?s it I suppose.
5. Hmm interesting... Well I seem to get the weirdest songs stuck in my head for ages at a time, one of the earliest times I can remember it happened was the in Spring 2001. The song I'm Blue had been playing in the morning for maybe the guts of six weeks, in the end everywhere I went I couldn't help but hum the tune as I walked. That may not sound too annoying but the fact is that I despised the song and I just couldn't get it out of my head. One of the better songs I've got stuck in my head was Turning Japanese by The Revs, it was just me and about four of my friends just singing it and air-guitaring, yes we were weird as kids. It actually hasn't happened in ages though walking down the hall a day or so ago I heard one of the guys whistling the tune from Kill Bill where Elle is walking down the hall of the hospital. It was both funny and freaky at the same time.
6. Interesting... very interesting. Well I got an acoustic guitar during the summer of '01 and have yet to actually take the time to learn how to play it. I have that kind of tendency when it comes to musical instruments that I go in with the best intentions and then forget to practice for ages. But hey I will take the time to learn it this year or my name isn't Gavin, which means if I don't learn it I'll have to change my name... I kind of got into guitar because my uncle is one excellent musician out on the island of Canary Island of Lanzarote he was one of the most highly paid musicians on the island. I'm in total agreement with Jordan on this one, if I was to put it in math terms it would go something like this - Guitar = Chicks, and who says math has no outside uses.
7. Damn I'm related to a lot of people, and here was me thinking I was some kind of hermit, though interestingly about three-quarters of my relations come from being related to Annie and Jokopoko so I guess I can't really count them. It was still an interesting project and I hope you'll come up with a few more ideas like it MistressRoxie. I actually just realised that I was Annie's bodyguard and not her brother so my bad, sorry... [Is pelted with rocks]... I love family reunions.
8. Van sighed and rubbed his free hand against his forehead, he'd been hoping they might not find the Neurozine vial before he had a chance to hide it. He wondered if he should tell her the whole truth, in any normal circumstance she'd call him crazy but they'd rarely known what you'd call normal circumstances. He rolled the vial a few times between his thumb and index fingers, a small amount of the liquid was still visible, probably the way she worked out what it was, he closed his eyes and sighed again before speaking. Van: [Inhaling] I'm guessing you already know what this is, in which case you know that I'm the one responsible for the research which led to it. [Places the vial down onto the table] Trini: [Picking up the vial] I'm aware of that Van, what I want to know is why you're taking Neurozine in such doses ? Van: [Softly] If I told anyone but you and Allen I'd be called a liar but you two know me better... [Exhales again] Alright you want to know why I'm taking Neurozine I'll tell you... [Explains]... And that is as we say that... [Places his head in his hands]. Trini: [Looking at Van] Van, I... I'm glad you told me, you're right if you told anyone else they would call you crazy, they'd call us all crazy. Trini got up and rubbed he hand along Van's back, she wondered what it must have been like to go through what's he'd been through, to have to face his own dark side. Van exhaled again and turned himself to face her, she really was beautiful, a living Aphrodite, he stood up not really sure if what he was about to do was the right thing, but if he didn't he'd regret it the rest of his life. Trini more than likely knew what he was going to do, it was something in her eyes, she leaned in closer to him as he wrapped his arm around her, the next moment seemed to stop time as their lips met... Allen: [Laughs] Hello, hello...
9. Well this is...interesting. As a Law I think it is nothing short of incredible that it hadn't been introduced already I mean for Christ's sake it just boggles the mind that if such a crime is committed there should be a way to punish the person who committed such an act. Fair play to the Governator for finally introducing it into law. I partially agree with Wingnut in regard to the fact that Necrophiliacs would certainly require serious psychiatric therapy, however I would put forward that the family of the deceased would certainly be hurt by the act. Maybe the person who committed the act was deranged but that shouldn't mean they don't face a punishment for such an act of... indecency.
10. Hmm I'm guessing in the context of what Alex has said that we can also look forward to more of Lucas' numerous extra scenes in the new edition of the Old Trilogy. I don't know if he's just stupid or wants to see if he'll have better luck this time around with the added scenes though either way he's probably put them in. I just hope he's fixed some of the obvious insertions from the Special Edition. I'm all for new scenes as long as they don't clearly stand out against what I remember in the Original Old Trilogy, such as Han and Greedo or Jabba appearing in A New Hope and going on the ?new? version of the end to Return of the Jedi. To me it essentially ruins what made me fall in love with the series in the first place. As for Dagger's comments I'm totally in agreement, Lucas should have released the Original Old Trilogy either separately as another Box Set or included in this New Edition. Hell I don't see why he merely didn't put in a system where you could watch it with or without the added scenes. As for Lucas's comments on why he didn't release the Original Old Trilogy on DVD I totally agree with Alex, the way he even went so far as to dismiss what fans though was a little heartless in my opinion. If he intends to turn it into TV Movies like the Young Indiana Jones series I'd say we may see the TV Movie versions of the EU Novels as far as the New Jedi Order. Maybe this will be a good thing, maybe it won't, any other opinions ?
11. Sage could feel his strength returning, he may have been old but his strength as a Spellcaster was second to only Dain. As the ran he wiped his brow of sweat that had accumulated in his previous battles, Dain and Flare still held him as the moved but he was soon able to run by himself without aid. The three Spellcasters moved quickly through the dark forest in which they had been trapped, Sage could hear the loud grunting and shouting of Kione's forces behind them but hopefully they'd get out of the forest before having to engage in battle again. Gripping his sword tightly Sage flung it as hard as he could into a bush coming up on his left, an inhuman scream cried out before becoming silent, he moved over and pulled his sword from the chest of a Man-Eater Bug before hearing a loud laughing coming from the area around them. Several Armor Exes and Fiend Megacybers stepped forth, grinning with their intent more than clear, the lead Megacyber spoke in a harsh metallic voice, it sent a small shiver down Sage's back. Lead FMC: You are captured, surrender and your death will be quick. Dain: [Tightening his grip on his weapon] I don't think so... [Nods to Sage] You'll just have to come and get us. Armor Exe: Foolish Spellcaster I shall rend you limb from limb !! Sage: Well then I guess we'll just skip to the part where we kill you and move on. The three Spellcasters raised their respective weapons wondering if this was to be their last stand...
12. I thought that was an interesting little read, I agree with Solo when he says it was a little slow paced at times but over all it was a very solid little piece of work. I think that parodies of duels are often more successful because we've all seen or felt the tense mood of a good duel but the comedy is a nice little break. Just a small piece of advice, it's your prerogative on what you write.
13. Hmm interesting... I'll set out these in no particular order as I can't exactly decide my exact favourites. Samurai Jack: Brilliant show, I only got into this a few months back but I really do enjoy it any time I get to watch it. It's not just the action that attracted me to it it's the whole way the show is done, the movement, the intrigue, I can't really put it any other way. Batman - The Animated Series: A show I enjoyed from my youth, there were times when that show really hit the kind of dark grittiness that Batman is all about. I thought one of the best characters in the entire series was that of The Riddler, his style in the animated series really made up for the atrocious way they portrayed him in the movies. Spiderman - The Animated Series: Made around the same time as Batman this was another of the cartoons I really liked during my youth. I recently saw the original Spiderman cartoon and I thought it just really sucked, the characters were just so one-dimensional compared with it's newer counterpart. The animated series at times could be rather bland but it was far better than it's predecessor. Transformers - G1: THE show of my youth, I spent hours at a time just watching the videos of it I had. Transformers G1 is the best series of the Transformers ever, Armada came and sucked, Energon will come and suck but G1 is forever. There was just so much to like about G1, the whole battle of good and evil between giant transforming robots couldn't help but entrance a young me. Johnny Bravo: One of Cartoon Networks best cartoons EVER, there was just so much to like about Johnny, from his personal quest to get a steady girlfriend to his personal quest to perfect his hair there was just so much humour to the show. I thought the pilot episode was a bit dodgy but it redeemed itself once it got it's footing. Futurama: I think this is superior to The Simpsons in every conceivable way, Futurama was fresh and funny compared to the tired nature of The Simpsons. At times yes it lacked imagination but it was usually made up for by either Bender, The Professor or Zoidberg. Any episode with Zapp Branagin was just too funny, his stupidity was the comic Ying to Homer's drab Yang. Fairly Odd Parents: Yes I admit it I am an almost 18 year old guy who likes to watch Fairly Odd Parents, embarrassing yes but the show is usually so funny that I don't really care what age it's aimed at. I can reduce the main reason I love the show to one word: Cosmo, it's his goofy and unpredictable stupidity that really makes that show worth watching, yes Wanda can have her moments but Cosmo is just so much funnier. Family Guy: Not as funny as Futurama but there was still a kind of half-baked charm to this show. There were some characters that brought the show down, most notably Meg who did little other than ***** about this, that and the other. The episode with Peter's father was one of the funniest cartoon's I've ever seen. X-Men - The Animated Series: Similar to Spiderman though it had a much more smooth record in my books in terms of quality. The story was stronger in X-Men their fight seemed justified and you really found yourself thinking about their predicament. And number ten is... Star Trek - The Animated Series: This may be a little biased since I'm a massive Star Trek geek, I recently got to watch TOS a second time over and it really changed my opinion on the series as a whole. The Animated series took everything I liked about TOS and gave it a new lease of life before TNG, I salute it and everyone involved.
14.
Kane, I think I mis-spoke, or at least wasn't clear about the whole "Editing Anakin's face" in RotJ. What I meant was that when Darth Vader's helmet is removed (we really should use Spoiler tags, but oh well, heh), Lucas is digitally altering the face, specifically the eyebrows and re-coloring the eyes to match Hayden Christiansen's. The Force Spirit is going to be totally re-done, from what I can tell, with Hayden Christiansen replacing Sebastian Shaw.
Ah I follow you now, though my point remains the same, I'm repeating myself here when I say that I think Prowse physically plays an important part. I don't mean that in the obvious sense that he's the one who plays Darth Vader, what I mean is that seeing him underneath Vader's helmet and in turn seeing him as the Force Apparition allows us to fully see Anakin Skywalker. The fact that we will no longer see Old-Anakin means that the circle has been broken, we shall now only see the boy that Anakin was, and the angry and hatefilled Padawan who became Vader. Seeing Old-Anakin rather than Padawan Anakin shows us that even when long seduced by the powers of the Dark Side there is still hope, his ancient spectral form along with Obi-Wan and Yoda show us that even in his old age Skywalker could defeat the Dark Side. I think this is another of Lucas's idiotic "improvements" which often do damage to the films, I had hoped he'd have learned his lesson with Solo's super human dodging skills.
And on an unrelated note, I've had discussions in the past about how Luke falls to the Dark Side in RotJ, and Boba Fett (who was the Counterpoint in that debate) now agrees with me. I was recently going through RotJ, and one line of The Emperor's struck me: "Strike him down and your journey to the Dark Side will be complete." It occurred to me that if Luke is already on the Dark Side, his journey is complete before striking down Vader. So, I thought about it, and it'd be a rather important point to consider that has a significant impact on Luke's Dark Side/Light Side status in RotJ. After musing over it, I've concluded that the "Dark Side" Palpatine speaks of isn't the Dark Side of the Force, necessarily, but more refers to the idea that The Empire, Palpatine, etc, is the Dark Side's other half...the...Non-Force Dark Side, if that makes sense. As it stands, as Luke is poised over Vader, and throughout RotJ, Luke is Dark Side, as is Vader, but Vader still serves Palpatine, and Luke does not. Had Luke killed Vader, then he, like we are told by The Emperor himself, would have taken Vader's place, and his journey to the Dark Side would be completed, as he was Dark Side Force-wise, and after killing Vader, would be Dark Side Empire-wise. I may not have explained that clearly...my head is absolutely pounding right now, and my sinuses aren't worth a damn, lol, so if you'd like me to clear it up later, I will.
Interesting, I also agree with the above sentiment, Luke clearly has crossed the path of the Dark Side in ROTJ, in it's early scenes we see him using his father's trademark Force Choke to debilitate two of Jabba's guards. His attire and demeanour show that he has left the teaching of the Old Jedi Order and is seeking his own way to finish his training regardless of where it may lead. In his fight with Vader in the second Death Star he gives into his anger to allow him to not just defeat Vader but come close to destroying him. I think in ways if the Emperor had just kept his mouth shut Luke may have actually struck down Vader, we can see in their fight that he is intent on defeating Vader, Luke does so because he wants to save Leia but how sure of that can we be. Vader is responsible for killing many of Luke's friends and family, he killed Biggs, Obi-Wan his Uncle Ben and Aunt Beru. If fully consumed by his anger Luke may have gone and struck down Vader in revenge for all that he has done. Now that is just my own personal take on it and I may be wrong but I do think that the Emperor may have made Luke think about what he was doing, after the Emperor talks Luke looks at the remains Vader's severed hand and then to his own. If Palpatine had stayed quiet and watched who knows what might have happened.
15.
I've not yet heard Lucas' reasoning for editing in Hayden Christiansen's eyes and face for RotJ's Darth Vader unmasked, and for Anakin's Force Spirit, but why the need to change Anakin's appearance? It's clear that Anakin's Force Spirit is older, so why digitally alter it? Is it to link the Prequels and OT together? If that's the reason, then why not use Ewan McGregor's Obi-Wan instead of Alec Guinness? And for that matter, are we going to see a CG Yoda's Force Spirit instead of the ESB Yoda?
Well my time is limited but I just wanted to enquire about what Alex has said here, is it true that he's actually edited out David Prowse from the ending of ROTJ in favour of Christiansen. I mean like it or not Prowse and Earl-Jones were Vader, personally I liked seeing Prowse as Anakin at the end of the film as it sort of completed the circle, from Padawan to Sith and back to Jedi. The idea that his role in the film has been reduced to the point where we see him for less than a minute is a sad occurance. I'll come back on this later.
16. Well, well it seems you've taken that little debate from the Star Wars 411 and turned it into an docu-RPG (I suppose you might call it that). Personally I love the idea as I've waited from the chance to play a anti-Rebel in a Star Wars RPG, but since the chances only come around rarely I've never had the chance to do it. The fact that it is written from The Empire's point of view means that this will be rather a unique little RPG which I will be more than happy to sign up to. Just a tiny question, how exactly will the RPG be laid out in terms of chapters, sign ups, characters etc. ?
17. Well as one of the Star Wars nutters here on OB I'm definitely looking forward to Episode Three, this gets to be the one which will redeem the New Trilogy or be the one which shows the New Trilogy was a bad idea in the first place. There are some interesting character appearances in Episode Three which is on one of the pages of the Star Wars 411 here on OB. Mission Impossible III is an interesting one, I though MI:2 was better than the first one by a long margin, the first one just seemed too cliché and Tom Cruise was very wooden. I've no idea what the third one is based on but if it ups the level of quality as seen from MI:1 to MI:2 it'll be a film well worth going to see. Metroid is also an interesting one, though I wouldn't be the biggest fan of videogame conversions at they have a tendency to be, how do I put this... crap. I think that Uma would be a perfect choice for the role as she has the exact build of Miss Aran, the whole body-shape really doesn't matter as Samus is in a power-suit most of the time. Austin Powers 4 As much as I liked the series, well the first two. I think the AP series has run it's course as there's been no real improvement to it since AP: 2. Incidently I heard the series was to end at AP3 as Miers was no longer interested in playing the role. Well there's my thoughts.
18. Van scrubbed his hair in under the hot water, the GR-Gel was one of the greatest breakthroughs for space travel but it was nothing short of a pain in the ass to remove. He closed his eyes and just listened to the sounds of the running water, as if trying to convince himself that this was indeed real and not some figment of his imagination. After several minutes he stepped out from under the shower and began to dry himself off, it had been a while since he'd had a shower and it had been most relaxing. Within a few minutes he was changed into his regular clothing, he scratched the back of his right hand at the fabric moved over it, an itch so simple a sensation provided him with some relief that this was real. Walking slowly out of the room he decided that his first order of business should be to get something to eat from the Mess Hall, he knew Trini wanted to debrief him after what happened but surely she'd wait until he had something to eat. He ran one hand along the cold metallic walls of the corridor before entering the Mess Hall. He walked slowly over to the fridge, his stomach rumbled in anticipation of food, reaching inside he withdrew one of the many frozen meals. "Sweet and Sour Chicken with Basmati rice" he murmured, removing the foil lid he pushed it carefully into a nearby cooking unit before sitting down. Within a few seconds he heard the beep signalling him that the meal was cooked, removing the meal he cursed as he almost burnt his fingers. He savoured the smell of the meal before actually tasting it, it was one of a few meals he actually liked eating and it had been a while since he'd eaten it. As he was about to take the first bite he heard a clear and unmistakable cough... Trini: [Amused] I thought I asked you to come into the sick-bay. Van: [Exasperated] Oh come on Trini, it's my first meal !! Trini: [Laughs] Then get me a fork too. Van laughed and withdrew another fork from the many presses of the Mess, he handed over to Trini who now sat across from him. Her eyes twinkled as he she looked at Van, he wondered if she was interested more in his food than him...
19. Well I bought and completed Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time for the Gamecube a few weeks back, it was an excellent adventure/platformer which I thought was on-par with Legend of Zelda at times. I thought the graphics at times could use work because often the Prince on close up shots would look slightly blocky, though the cut-scenes were nothing short of spectacular. I personally thought the combat was rather innovative though battles were nothing short of daunting because of the amount of enemies you'd have to face. Nintendo Official Magazine UK did a pretty large cover on a while back on a sequel to The Sands of Time and it was pretty in-depth. The screenshots they showed looked awesome, (I'm afraid my Internet Connection is a little slow for the ones posted here) much darker and grittier looking than The Sands of Time. Seemingly Ubisoft want to up the gore and violence level for this one, personally I hope they don't up it just to attract more people to the series. All and all I'm looking forward to this with great excitement...
20. Yeah that was the correct answer Bill, though I could have been evil and made you give them all. Answer: Annatar Question: Give the name of the First King of the Second Line of the Mark.
21. I bought Bram Stoker's Dracula a year or so ago because I'd heard it was on the English Curriculum for the Leaving Cert., I later found out it wasn't but decided to read the book anyway. I think I got about 30 or so pages into it before I lost interest and discontinued reading it. I started reading it again a few weeks back and I'm about a third of the way through, I find it can be a bit confusing at times, considering the book is comprised of letters and journal entries by many people. In saying that though it is an excellent book with some very interesting and at times amusing characters. From all I've read so far my personal favourite part of the book is the beginning, detailing Harker's journey to Dracula's abode.
22. Hmm well I might as well make a crack at this. Answer: Men (obviously) Edain, Dunedain, Engwar and Atani. Question: Give Gimli's entire ancestral line back to Durin the Deathless (Durin I).
23. If I was an American and I was eligible to vote by November I'd go for Kerry/Edwards. I'm normally a Conservative when it comes to politics and normally I would support the Republican Party but to be honest I trust Bush and his cabinet about as far as I can throw them. For me the whole Weapons of Mass Destruction issue has been dubious at best, if they were there and they had been found Bush I'd give credit where credit is due but it's been over 400 days and we've seen nothing. Also I find it more than amusing that Bush decides that fighters captures in the war in Afghanistan don't qualify for rights under the Geneva conventions. Though in saying that the political parties in Ireland are nothing to write home about considering we didn't know whether we supported or we against the Iraq War. Finally after the major combat was over we found out we were against it, that was after we allow American planes to refuel at Shannon.
24. I know the feeling Zeta I almost lost one of my posts earlier this week due to the same problem, I can only advise you to save them on a Microsoft Word Document or Notepad before posting it. When I do manage to get my hands on Unifying Force I'll more than likely post about it here and we'll have another 4 page discussion. I thought The Final Prophecy was a good book though not my favourite by a long margin, so hopefully Unifying Force will be a good end to the series.
