[font="Tahoma"][size="2"]Given the number of female hosts to males is still skewed towards male I'd make a guess that the Uzumaki's special chakra for suppressing the Kyuubi appeared more commonly in their women than in their men, which is why both Kushina and Mito were chosen where as Naruto just happened to be there and his father gambled he'd have a similar level of resistance. Given the Kyuubi at half power seems to be even more powerful than the fully-intact Hachibi I'd guess it requires a special host which means putting up their inconveniences like pregnancy. Of course this is Kishi so I may be just giving a rational explanation to something he doesn't care about.[/size][/font]

Ichigo's presence, his "resolve" does appear to be back in full force which is good to see after all the uncertainty we saw in Hueco Mundo. The face grab in the middle of Aizen's monologue was great, I'm just hoping Kubo delivers on the hype he'll likely have generated.[/size][/font]

[font="Tahoma"][size="2"]Yeah, really seems like they had a mind of their own the way they were just jutting out there. Interesting chapter, Oboro vs Grana was to be expected and hopefully shouldn't disappoint despite the fact Grana seems to be winning handily. I'm sort of hoping we see Kagetora and Matsuri in the next while as well. Spoilers for this week's chapter are a bit disappointing. Amamiya wasn't ever one of my favourite characters but I suppose it was necessary to demonstrate the power of Nova.[/size][/font]

Still, if he's actually mastered his bankai now, and I'm beginning to think what he's actually done is mastered controlling his reiatsu (leading to Aizen's "I can't feel your reiatsu" line) along with his bankai then that should make him a formidable opponent even against Aizen.[/size][/font]

Eventually Sekai and Makoto are going at it like bunnies until whoops, she gets pregnant. Instantly Makoto ditches all responsibility. He acts out, hits Sekai and ignores her because getting her pregnant is totally not his fault. He then proceeds to **** other girls, even in threesomes because rumors went around that Makoto was good at sex. He ignores Kotonoha and the pregnant Sekai until Sekai seems to convince him to take some responsibility. Once again Makoto goes into rage and tries to run away from his responsibility by ******* around. Biggest ***** in anime history ever. In comparison to regular Zabimaru, Hihiou Zabumaru hasn't been shown to be particularly effective. It's basically just a gigantic club, or at least that's what it's degenerated into as against his regular Shikai which was shown to be a lot more versatile in combat. I'd like to see Hisagi vs Renji myself.[/size][/font]

[font="Tahoma"][size="2"]To be fair though Humaru Renji was portrayed as being as, if not more powerful than both Hisagi and Kira originally. His shikai's entending ability allowed him to keep enemies at a distances as well as serate through them when the opportunity arose. Compared so say, Ikkaku's shikai it's pretty damn dangerous for a melee type. Then of course kidou became a pretty central part of the Shinigami's fighting abilities and Renji had to of course suck at it for teh lulz despite jumping from what, 6th Seat of the 11th Division to Lieutenant of the 6th Division, which seems to have been a pretty impressive thing to do, especially within a hundred years of becoming a Shinigami. [font="Tahoma"][size="2"]As much as I don't want to say it out loud I've got a distinct feeling that next week's chapter is going to be at least 50% talking as Butterflyzen comments on Ichigo's growth and we get an explanation of how he beat Tensa/Hichigo fusion and the effects of that victory. Probably get a comment from Aizen that Ichigo has finally mastered his bankai fully now, or at least to the level of most captains and his strength has grown to surpass all his previous limitations. Ichigo comments on Gin and Matsumoto and then of course with the final panel Ichigo will charge.[/size][/font]
