3.
Once you get down to it, there aren't many good Batman villains left.
Riddler Alive!

Actually Shy I'd just like to point out that The Riddler was driven insane by his thought absorbing invention, to the point where he end of in an insane asylum. As much as I'd like to see that being a ruse in The Riddler's carefully laid plot to finally defeat Batman, I'm afraid you might as well cross him off as well. The fact that Christian Bale is to play the new Batman in a great step in the right direction in terms of choice for the title part. Most of the actors who played Batman (save Michael Keaton) such as Val Kilmer and George Clooney focused too much in being Bruce Wayne and not enough into being Batman. After Bale's performance in Equilibrium I'm confident he can capture the "Dark Knight" persona quite well and I look forward to see him in the Batmobile.
Apparently in the new Iron-Man film there is talk of having pretty boy Leo playing Tony Stark and that would kill it in my opinion. Stark is a middle age guy not a pretty boy teen *gags* but the idea of an Iron-Man sounds pretty nifty but only if they have a good actor playing Stark, I was thinking Tom Cruise would be good for the role.[/SIZE']
Dear God no, I'd hate to see Cruise take on the role of Ironman, I have nothing against Cruise but I don't think the part would suit him at all. I think that Jonathan Frakes would make a very good Ironman (yeah Will Riker from Star Trek), laugh if you will but I think he's got a sharper side to him that would suit the role. I think that there are a lot of excellent but underused T.V. actors who would do very well in Hollywood. That is of course if directors would simply stop using big names to, in the words of Guy Ritchie put bums on seat. Look at Jonathan Statham, a gem of an actor that nobody had ever heard of before he starred in Ritchie's films, and now he has the potential to become the next Clint Eastwood.
  4. I'm lucky in the fact that I'm not afraid of a whole lot of things, but rather a select few which invoke practical paralysis. My biggest fear, without a shadow of a doubt is heights, though I must admit it's no ordinary case of vertigo, in my case I have a fear of heights in a confined space. I suppose the most notable case of this was when I climbed a tree at my cousin's house and was too afraid to climb down, here I was stuck up this tree no more than 12' from ground for about 2 hours. In the end I just said to hell with it and jumped, which accomplished the task of getting down but seemed to embedded that fear of heights in me. The weird thing is that I don't have a fear of heights in say large open places, like say on a mountain, in a plane or on top of a building. Maybe I just have a fear of falling and not necessarily heights.

  9. I thoroughly enjoyed The Bourne Identity, it was the way the film carried itself that really hooked me, it was so different from established spy flicks like James Bond or Mission Impossible. I remember I only went to see the film because I had a few hours to kill and happened to be near the cinema while this was showing. The first few minutes of the film snared me into what proved to be a trance that only stopped when the film itself finished. I have to admit though that I'm not a huge fan of Matt Damon but this did quite a bit to redeem him in my eyes. The way he fluidly portrayed his character was very impressive and as NorykoAngelcry said everything he did looked natural, which I can bet was hard to pull off. I've not had a chance to read the book and I had actually no idea that the film was based on a book or rather one of a trilogy so I was quite enlightened when I read this thread. I haven't seen so much as a peep of the film in terms of trailers on this side of the Atlantic but I look forward to Supremacy's release with great excitement. Heh this is my first post with my new username.
  10. My weirdest day or rather days definitely happened a few years ago when I was first starting High School. I had only been in the school a few days and suddenly everyone knew my name, the weird part is that I lived nowhere near the school and had only single relative who I had never met and until getting to know her knew nothing about. Each day went something like this: Random Person I've never even seen before: Hey Gavin... 5 minutes later Second Random Person I've never even seen before: Hey Gavin And so on, by the end of the day I was like "How do all these people know my name ?". I've still never found out exactly how it happened but it was a very weird first few weeks.
  11. I suppose I'll go via systems as that seems to be the theme. N.E.S.: Bionic Commando - A decent enough game looking back, but I just dispised that game when I was younger because I had no idea what to do and once I'd beaten a level I couldn't seem to do anything else. Sega Megadrive: The Lion King - I'd only ever played the game a few times at a friends house, but it was so repeditive and lacking any real fun to it that I really have to put it here. Nintendo 64: Blast Corps 64 (at least I think that was the title) - The worst game I have ever played is without a doubt. The game was just so unorganised and hectic, without any real instruction to it that I could never play it for any more than a minute or so at a time. PS1: Yu-Gi-Oh Forgotten Memories - I've only played a few PS1 games apart from Final Fantasy 6, 7 and 8 but this game (an many of those after it) have made me very wary of buying any Anime based games. The game had just such a huge learning curve and unfair A.I. advantages in terms of cards that I got sick of it very quickly. PS2: Fifa 2003 (or maybe it was 04) - I was a massive fan of Fifa 98 Road to the World Cup for the Nintendo 64, but when my brother rented that game it made a mockery of all that joy I had once experienced. Bad controls, worse gameplay, just an all round bad experience. Gamecube: Mortal Kombat: Deadly Alliance - Bad Controls, I had blisters from the ****** controls on this game, the use of the D-Pad on this game was such an idiotic idea that I can't rant enough against it. Good idea, bad execution. I suppose that it but those games really boil my blood when I think of them.
  12. I can quite clearly remember my most embarrassing moment from when I was younger, about 5 or 6 as I remember it. I had won first prize in a regional art competition for my age group, with a painted picture of the Gingerbread Man no less. I was feeling really exciting; as I was going to get a trophy from the Mayor for winning, and it was the first trophy I'd ever one. However right after getting my plaque from the Mayor but right before having my picture taken with him and the rest of the winners, the damn thing broke in half. This left my father with the situation of trying to get some super-glue to pin it back together. That didn't work so in the end I was left to just hold it together while the photo was being taken, I still have the trophy and looking back it was fairly funny but at the time I was mortified.
  13. Edit - Alright I hope it's OK now Solo. There are parts that are hard enough to punctuate, as some of the jokes are run on a little. Also just out of curiosity where exactly did our sign ups bare similarities ? Character Name(s): Vegetible (try and guess who I'm spoofing ?) Anime Stereotype: Evil Alien Prince of a now dead species of evil super primates who has come to conquer this planet and whatnot. Muhahahahahaha... Age: 17 Year: Senior Appearance: Vegetible - As seen here, though he prefers to don less regal clothing unless the occasion calls for it. Most normal school days he dons simply a pair of tan colored jeans, a navy cotton t-shirt a pair of runners, all being of exceptionally over priced brand name stuff of course. Alignment: Evil Extra Subjects:
Creative Writing (What ?!)
‘Extra’ Sports
Metalwork and Forgery
Transformation
Counselling
Villain Ethics
Accommodation: Being a Prince he wouldn't settle for anything less that the best room on campus, however some little rich sod had already beaten him to it using his father's overly large wallet. So Vegetible did the only thing he could do, he set his multitude of lawyers on the little wastrel and succeeded in having him evicted over a small technicality. Vegetible moved in and went through the process of having to reset his video machine timer all over again, as well as finding a closet where he could store Jeeves at night. Since moving in a few years ago he's settled in, regularly hosting Playmate parties for the entertainment of those on his party guestlist which is a major goal for most of the socialites or socialile wanna-be's. Bio: He's a playboy that is the true defining point about Vegetible, stupid name aside (at least it's stupid on this planet) he's can be an evil little bugger with designs for eventual galactic domination like any other cynical, tyrannical bad guy, but in the end he’s only doing it to get his hands on his dads cash. His temper is usually placid enough though it takes only a small thing such as getting a B- or having a cow thrown at him that can set him off and lead him to kill many, many people. A clever but not overly clever individual, he leaves his homework to an array of nerds he has captured over the years in various sessions of pillaging other people rooms with his band of lawyers. Though the teaching staff are aware of this practice, they are also aware that he has the nerds constructing him weapons of school destruction (WSDs), and so are warily of attempting a rescue mission. They instead prefer to send a note informing the child's parent that said nerd perished in some unbelievable, generally impossible science based accident, which with the school science teacher is plausable enough. Vegetible was born on the planet Vegetible son of King Vegetible and a member of the proud Sayitagain race. However the pure and stereotypical evil of the race lead to it's eventual annihilation at their own hands, due to vast and incalculable acts of stupidity. Vegetible happened to be lucky in the fact he was off in his summer home watching x-rated movies and hanging out with shipload after shipload of beautiful models. When made aware of his races demise it hit the young Prince quite hard, making him pause the tape he was watching for several second before nodding and returning the movie at hand. Months passed, and it was only when he realised that he may or may not have to continue the family legacy of stereotypical super-powered evil doings that he decided he might as well go and at least try and find his ATM card, since his father was no longer around to bankroll him and his playboy lifestyle. This lead Vegetible on his question to find his ATM card hopelessly lost in the barren waste-land of his laundry, steeling his evil courage his entered said wasteland only to find it being inhabited by several dozen galactic hobos who had taken resident there. Soon (approx. 15 seconds later) he decided that the quest for his ATM card was boring and futile because he realised he could simply order a new one from his galactic bank. With the new card in his possession he found himself faced with the wary task of ridding himself of several dozen hobos in his linen closet, again in typical evil fashion he decided to merely level the house with several bulldozer, crushing the squatters and giving him a new evil deed to fulfil... buying his first house. Taking his loyal and very stereotypically posh butler named Jeeves (as all stereotypical butlers are named) with him, as he went in search of a new domicile. Said new quest lead him to Earth, a world of cosmopolitan glamour and vast fields of willing servants to mentally abuse. Finding that he liked living in Japan, where seemingly all rich, alien, evil Princes decide to live he quickly used his new ATM card to withdraw money to buy himself a house, or in this case a giant converted multi-storey carpark in which to live. His new home now complete, he was left back to the arduous task of resetting the timer on his video machine so he could finish watching Friends for the fifth time, as well as ordering Jeeves to do a wide variety of acrobatical stunts for his amusement. These petty tasks completed, he learned that he would only inherit his father vast fortune if he successfully conquered a planet of sentient beings. Slightly annoyed at this little hiccup in his social calendar he decided that he would enrol in a school, catering for what he believed to be other super-powered evil doers who would band together and conquer the world, thus allowing him to claim his father's fortune. Unfortunately this was not the case and apart from several other cliques including one of super-powered evil Princes (who had their own ideas of world domination), he would have to work on his own to achieve this stereotypical bad guy scheme. Several years on and he finds that he likes the school to a tiny, tiny degree, the same way in which a bank-robber likes the way in which bank-tellers are so eager to hand over their piggybanks as well as the cash. He "acquired" his room in the school and has since spent his time invariably learning, enjoying his lavish playboy lifestyle, and generally furthering his schemes for getting his vast inheritance... Special Powers/Abilities: Vegetible has many super powers at his disposal being that he is the Prince of a now dead species of super powered Primates, he is super strong, super fast, has the ability to turn into a huge ape increasing said powers already mentioned, fire balls of energy from his hands with varying degrees of strength. However being a playboy at heart he’s rather lazy and content in using these powers to do things slightly over the top such as blowing a hole the size of a truck in the wall to kill mice. Sworn Enemy: All those foolish do-gooders and evil doers who would stand in the way of him gaining his new planet and inheritance.

Name: Victor Kane, known mostly as Obsidian. Age: 5 though he looks approximately 35 Gender: Male Race: Android Appearance: Picture 1 Picture 2 Picture 3 - Taken by government spy cameras over the past few years. Weapon(s): Obsidian carries a number of weapons all of which he uses with extreme lethality as well as being skilled in a number of unarmed forms of combat.
Twin Highly Modified Berretta 9mm - Created solely for Obsidian these are unique guns, in appearance they seems exactly like any other Berretta 9mm the difference lies in their inner mechanics. The guns are constructed to fire bullets far, far faster than a normal pistol and even faster still than a machine pistol, approx. 15 bullets a second with each clip holding about 60 bullets. The bullets are armour piercing, composed of the same metal that makes up Obsidians skeleton and tipped with mercury for added virulence.
Spaz 12 gauge Shotgun - A slightly modified version of the regular unit, it's barrel has been slightly rebuilt to give the weapon a longer accuracy. The ammunition itself is unchanged.
Samurai Sword - As seen in the attachment, the weapon is newly constructed and was given to Obsidian for this mission. There is no great difference between this and any other sword except for the fact that the blade has been forged to make it stronger and sharper with the ability to cut cleanly through a wide variety of materials including metal.
Biography: Victor as his father dubbed him, was created in an underground military R&D facility some 5 years ago. The project was to be the final evolution of his father's research codenamed Obsidian. His father Malcolm Kane was a respected and at some points feared genius of Robotics and AI, he had made several efforts before to have his research funded by the government, however each time he was turned down for making what they claimed to be "impossible promises". In the end he was approached by the military, more specifically the R&D Black Ops, they agreed to fund all his research, provide him with all his equipment and even acquire a team of scientists to be at his disposal for the project. Their one condition was that the android created was to be of a military design for special operations, Malcolm was reluctant but agreed on the added condition that he would create only the one unit a prototype which the remainder of the team to replicate with time. Obsidian as he was known to all members of the military with high enough clearance, was to be the ultimate field agent, incredibly fast, incredibly strong and incredibly deadly. The research on Obsidian's AI was so advanced that in some top-secret dossiers it is believed that he actually gain a true consciousness, with the ability to think and make his own choices as well as having emotions. His body was equally impressive, his skeletal form was crafted from alloys that were dubbed "indestructible", his muscles and joints formed with perfect precision to give him far beyond human strength and speed, and finally the outer coating of his skin, hair, eyes, hands, feet to look perfectly human. The project was so feared at some levels that certain members of the Black Ops directorate petitioned to have it destroyed lest it turn on those who had created it and go rogue. In the end however this was not to matter, as on his first field test he would fail in what would dubbed to " a spectacular waste of government funds". His assignment was to terminate a scientist by the name of Professor Daniel Price who it seemed had continued the grotesque enterprise of cyborg technology as begun by one Doctor Maxwell. Obsidian was to kill Price, to terminate any and all projects he was working on or had finished as well as destroy all his research so that none would be able to follow in his footsteps. Obsidian managed to infiltrate Price's facility and confront the maverick scientist, but he found himself unable to complete his mission, he could not take a life and so it was subsequently discovered that his father had in giving him consciousness had also given him a conscience. However before Obsidian left the laboratory he warned Price that continued engagement in his research could lead to the dispatctment of a unit who would care little for the value of life. Obsidian knew that he could not return to facility from which he was created or they would shut him down, he fled the scene and promised to never do harm to a living being again. He decided to educate himself in all areas that had been left out in his programming, arts, history, culture, music, these things which carried such a high merit were things he had no knowledge of. He spent four and a half years at the pursuit where he finally found peace within himself, however approximately 6 months ago he was contacted by his father and informed that he must return to the facility as it was urgent. Victor as he now went by decided that it could be a trap but that if his father had contacted him that there must have been something genuinely wrong. On arrival he was briefed that several of Maxwell's projects were on the loose and needed to be terminated, Victor informed them that he was unable to take life as they well knew but the responded by showing him what crimes they had committed. Victor was so horrified by some of the things that they had done that he agreed to help track them down on the condition that he would only disable them and not kill them. They agreed and Victor was subjected to a number of tests to confirm that he was fit for the mission, he was outfitted with a number of extra weapons as well as some upgrades to his body to increase it's efficiency. He began his hunt with a morbid sense of recollection to his first mission, at the moment he is tracking a young women whom he believes may have so idea of their whereabouts. He longs to complete this mission so that he might be able to get back to happier pursuits and finally put his past behind him.
  15.
True Athletes are the ones that love whatever sport they play that they enjoy conditioning themselves to make them stronger and better even though it will be hard because they know it will be worth it.[/color']
Yeah that's it exactly, that is the mark of a true athlete, those who compete because they love their sport not for the glory or the medal but because it's what they love to do.
To be truthful, drugged athletes deserve to be thrown out. And you can not really argue otherwise.
No you couldn't, not when there are other clean athletes who push themselves just as hard because they don't want to be the little ****** who took drugs to improve his/her performance. People who do that are being unrealistic with themselves, trying to be what they're not just so they can win, there's no shame in giving your best and not winning. Then again often it's pressure that drives people onto these drugs to enhance their performance (that sounded slghtly like an add for Viagra) and they feel that have to take these to satisfy thier personal demons. I don't agree with it but if it is that case then they need help.
  16. Well I have to admit that I'm looking forward to this game with the same froth-at-the-mouth excitement as I did for Vice City when we first discussed it way back when. I have to admit though that I myself found Vice City to be a hell of a more enjoyable game than GTA III, there was something about III that felt really sterile about the way you play the game, it seemed to lack heart and depth. I played the game a few weeks back after beating Vice City and I found the difference in the two games to me anyway to be immense. I found that GTA III feels quite restricted about the plotline, you do this, this, this and this, and then you go on and work for another criminal kingpin with no real sense of achievement. However I found that when I went back and played Vice City I enjoyed that game to a far greater sense of enjoyment, the characters feel more real and there seems to be a lot more depth and atmosphere to the game. I mean the main character in GTA III doesn't talk, doesn't have a name and we know nothing about his past, in the case of Mr. Vercetti though we find out a lot about himself, his past, his motives and his ideas for the future. Though in turn, I agree with James when he there needs to be improvements in the smaller but important aspects of the game as well as the controls. Sticking the same Vice City engine and problems on a larger map to satisfy the masses is neither a fair nor a realistic problem solver. Little thing like more responsive controls and a better control system as well as increased A.I. (I hate it in GTA III the way the cops only chase you and never anyone else) as well as increased graphics power and map size is what's needed. However in turn that is not to say that all this extra management that we're hearing about is going to make the game any more enjoyable, the unrealistic nature about GTA is what attracts people. I don't want to have to worry about getting fat in San Andreas, or getting a bad haircut because it adds too much realism and could potentially ruin the game itself because of it putting people off. That being said though, the ability to swim and get out of a car underwater are great little improvements that will add to San Andreas array of great features. I just hope the bikes have the little bells you can ring, that would be so kick ***...
  17. I've had a load of really realistic dreams but I can often only remember small snippets of them unless it was a nightmare, in which case I can recall every detail flawlessly. Off the top of my head the most recent realistic dream I can remember is one that made very little sense all together. I remember I was walking down the road towards my house, it was dark, probably about 2 o'clock or so in the morning, there’s a full moon and I'm just coming upon the bridge that leads up to the mountain. Suddenly and I'm mean within the blink of an eye, I'm confronted by two of the guys I went to school with, now I never particularly liked (friendship-wise) either of these guys, but for some reason they attacked me. Now come the weird part, suddenly I find I've got a long (about 12 feet) stick of bamboo in my hands and start using it like a bo-stick, I'm hitting both of them with the ends and doing all these Martix-esque flips and jumps. In the end I knock out both guys and continue to walk down the road towards home, which is when I wake up. Yeah see what I mean by weird, the dream itself made no sense whatsoever and I'm still trying to figure out what it meant. Sure I can put it down to my subconscious telling me that I don't like either of those two characters but I'm not really inclined to believe that it's that simple.
  18. I suppose it's all a case of personal taste on the issue, we have establishments that parade women infront of drunken perverted men to dance for money (Strip Clubs) and then we have Laws that disallow that kind of stuff in public. The establishments are there to allow some men (and women possibly) to fulfill their sexual desires and the laws are there to protect those who would not like the see that kind of behavour become common place. I think people are taking this idea that Europe is a haven for liberal acts of sexuality where anything goes slightly too far. I assure you that this is not the case, if anything the laws here and more conservative than laws in the Americas. Sure there are some places and countries where people are more liberal about the amount of clothing they wear, but the continent is not a giant landmass of perversion by a long shot. The issue that womens breasts are seen as more sexual than mens is I suppose in the eyes of the beholder. Again I suppose it's all down to personal tastes on the issue but I couldn't see toplessness becoming commonplace, as I would find it quite distateful.
  19. I was never really bothered by
Aeris's
demise either, I mean sure it was a bit out of the blue and I was a little saddened by it the first time but really she had no real impact on the game as a character. She could have been more useful later on but again she wasn't really anything more than the token magical character. I really agree that the characters from FFVI have a much more "human" feeling to them, you really do bond with them and are upset when something happens to them. I've yet to even half finish them game (something I really have to do) but so far my saddest death has been
Cyan's family
as said by Semjaza and Shinmaru. I was sad to see the proud and brave warrior crippled in such and underhanded way by the bastard Kefka. One of the saddest deaths I remember was in The Legend of Zelda: The Ocarina of Time when
The Great Deku Tree dies
I know he's replaced but you still feel kind of sad for him.
General Carville
from Red Alert II was another sad but rather comic death, damn evil but hilarious Crazy Ivans.

Well I haven't seen this film yet although I must say that the conversation it's generating here makes me slightly less enthusiastic about going. The plot seems interesting enough (and seems to have been played off of in several other films) though as James has pointed out each film takes it's own view on the concept. However this only proves that the storyline is at least decent in it's writings, something sorely lacking in some modern films which have yet to grasp the meaning of said word. I suppose I should actually go and see the film before I make up my mind based on what other people have said about it.
  21.
Oddly enough I've heard of Baptists being prejudiced against Catholics becuase the Catholics also pray to Saints.
Well now that's something new. ----------- Well Zudo I agree with the general consensus forming here that you should take your employer to court over this as it is a clear case of Religious Discrimination. If the guy was really that concerned about your religion's effect on other workers he should have at least spoken to you first, however this sounds like a mere "I'll find some dumbass reason to fire the guy and end up in court for discrimination". As for Baron's comments about the misconceptions of small-minded individuals in regard to different religions I agree whole-heartedly. The same crap between Muslims and Anti-Muslims has been going in Ireland/Northern Ireland for the better part of 200 years between Catholic and Protestants over small differences. I warn people now that stupidity over such a thing as religion can and will lead to violence and possibly wars.
  22. When I was younger I was really addicted to the Gobots and Transformers G1 respectively, I used sit for hours and just watch the video tapes I had (pretty sad I know but I've not changed much in a decade). Transformers was a little mature for my brain at that stage and looking back I really only thought about how the Good Guys might finally beat the evil Bad Guys, Go-Bots was pretty similar but different in a lot of ways. Other than those two I watched The Mighty Morphin' Power Rangers (damn that takes a few seconds to type), which was cool, to any young boy Martial Arts is pretty kick ***, that and the Giant Zords sealed the deal. Zordon (I think that's how his name was spelled) and that Robot who used to get panic attacks (his name escapes me). It was pretty cool and hasn't changed much in the last 8 years Ranger fght bad guy at their height and kill him, main bad guy uses magic/technology/whatever and brings fallen evildoer back in gigantic form forcing the Ranger to once again kill it using their MegaZords. Good times... Alot of Hanna Barbera aired on Cartoon Network when I was younger Jetsons, Flintstones, Yogi Bear (Smarter than the Average Bear, he used to crack me up though Boo-Boo was a little too quiet for my likings), Scooby-Doo and most other stuff they produced was fun to watch as a kid. Disney produced a fair bit of stuff as well, Dark Wing Duck was great, I still have the pilot on video *hums theme song*, Duck Tales was also good their nutty professor was funny in his own right, though he didn't come close to Uncle Scrooge McDuck (who is Donald's First cousin I believe). I think Rescue Rangers was one of theirs as well wasn't it, good show the fat guy was funny, the fly was pretty annoying though. Teenage Mutant Hero Turtles was a true classic for it's time, and caused half the kids in my neighbourhood to decide they wanted to become ninjas. Donatello was the best by far in my opinion, he seemed to be the only one who's character had a lot of depth beyond simple Mad Scientist. Other than cartoons I was a big fan of Murder She Wrote (and still am), there was just something so cool about that show (though if I was anyone with any sense I'd steer well clear of her since murders always happen when she's around). The A-Team was another show I'd watch passively (I never really got into it) though B.A.'s flying bits were damn funny "I hate flying". Star Trek became a big passion though I never really liked The Original Series since it was only on once a week and seemed fairly repeditive (the movies were much better). The Next Generation was much better and really helped keep the Star Trek franchise afloat (Picard will always be the Enterprise's greatest Captain, but Data will be it's best character). Bah my fingers are starting to hurt so I'll finish this up...
  23.
I mean, c'mon...James Avery (Uncle Phil) was the Shredder on the original TMNT! Shredder! Thats some big name casting there. --Chris
I'd never actually noticed that until I read it there, he sounds so much more... menacing in the Turtles, but appears so much more so in Fresh Prince (I wouldn't piss of somebody about 6'5 and 300 lbs., would you ?). I always found the show to be highly entertaining, though I don't think it's on Channel 4 (English TV Channel) anymore which is a pity since they've replaced it with about an hour of Simpsons re-runs. My favourite character was without a doubt the Butler (who's name escapes me at the moment), I just found him to be so cliché he was funny. He would make a sarcastic comment but it wouldn't sound sarcastic becuase he was always so proper in the way he spoke, the episode where he's ill and everyone else is complaining that he's not working hard enough was hysterical. I haven't seen the new series, and I only say maybe 15, 16 episodes in total, but it sounds like it's departed from it's old format which is a pity. I hope Channel 4 air it again so I get the chance to see the entire series.
  24. I was lucky that I didn't type all of it, I was able to Copy + Paste the character's names but it wouldn't let me do the same for the actors and actresses (or in some cases voice overs) so I was forced to write all of them. It could have been worse since the crew for the film was there as well and I didn't dare try and copy that. I was just wondering how Palpatine (courtesy of Star Wars Databank) managed to get all the way of Korriban (the Sith Homeworld), master the arts of the Sith themselves and then trot all the way back to Naboo with nobody the wiser. I would have expected Yoda to sense such a Dark Presence but then again I guess he's not infallible.
  25. Well I haven't posted in here in a while, and I see that the discussion has degenerated into pointless "What If" scenarios and bad grammer. I was browsing Star Wars.com and they have released a partial cast list for the Epsiode III which is due out in May of next year. Partial Cast Listing Obi-Wan Kenobi - Ewan McGregor Padmé - Natalie Portman Anakin Skywalker - Hayden Christensen Count Dooku - Christopher Lee Mace Windu - Samuel L. One of the more interesting cast inclusions in my opinion is Chewbacca, I was under the impression he did not make any appearance until Episode IV however I guess I was mistaken. It also appears that Senator Padmé's family make their debut in what would appear to be varying degrees of camera time. One of the more interesting questions under debate in the horribly run and spam heavy StarWars.com forums is the fate of the Jedi Council. One of the more implausable demises being generally agreed upon is that young clone Boba Fett kills Mater Windu. For anyone here who partook in that debate I'd like to point out that Boba was a mere child when his father was killed, and the length of the Clone Wars itself would not allow him adequate time to train to kill the Jedi Master. Another "fact" brought up is how Vader kills all the Jedi, not to rain on anyones parade but there are a few thousand Jedi left at the end of the Clone Wars and I doubt very much that Vader went around kill each and everyone of them. The more probable outcome is that Vader slays a number of Council members by himself while the Emperors Force trained servants dispose of the rest, with the Imperial Navy taking care of most of the normal Jedi. Well it's late and I should wrap this up, but any responses or theories on what I have said would be apprechiated.
