[Color=#518CBD][Font=trebuchet ms]OK, I'm not 100% on what's wrong with Mr. Ruben so I'm just going to assume that he's becoming an enemy from that bite he got. Also guys Van doesn't know he's getting younger so if he freaks be kind.... [I]Van stood along with Trini and Ruben in the loading bay, he felt a little odd but he just supposed that it was from the new skin and muscle tissue that had been sewn into his body after returning to his own dimension. He raised the shirt from his stomach and looked for the lines of the robot's needlework across his body; there weren't any, not a single visible scar across his body, nothing. It was as if he'd never had any surgery, he pulled his shirt up to his chest where he'd received heart surgery, he knew that there was a scar there for sure... again nothing. He dismissed it as just the robot's work, the must have opened up the scars and sewn them back again. Van turned to Trini and asked her if she felt different or weird in some way. She turned to him but gave him a weird kind of a stare, as if seeing something different about him. "Van, have you had your hair and beard colored by any chance", he relied that he hadn't and wondered where the question had come from. He walked over to a reflective piece of metal a few meters away and looked at himself. "Sweet Jesus" he thought to himself, he knew exactly why she'd asked him that question, his hair and beard were now a light chestnut brown instead of their regular silvery white and his hair was longer. He ran his fingers over his face and wondered what the hell was going on. Before he could check this phenomenon further he heard Trini scream and something hit the floor. He turned and found he Ruben on the flat out on the ground with Trini standing over him checking his pulse and heart rate. He quickened his pace and ran over to her and allowed his fingers to check over his pulse, his pulse was far higher than normal, his skin was whitening and he was cold sweating and it was then that Van saw the bite mark on his wrist. It was a dark sickly green color and was most likely the cause of the problem. He pulled open the pocket of his shirt to find a scalpel in it's case, Trini has some idea what he was doing and asked what she could do, "Get me a Trauma Kit from the Medical Bay Trini, as fast as you can". He opened the scalpel case and removed the surgical knife, as he went to press the it to Ruben's skin his eyes opened and his grabbed Van's throat, Van gasped and then dropped the knife as Ruben spoke.[/I] [b]Ruben:[/b] You're too much of a philanthropist Doc...[/color][/font]

If you notice the similarity between the name of my sword and my character I assure you that it is pure coincidental but it is interesting what a coincidence it is. [b]Name:[/b] Tathar Felagund [b]Race:[/b] [I]Taur Tawarwaith[/I] or Wood Elves [b]Age:[/b] 497 [b]Gender:[/b] Male [b]Appearance:[/b] Tathar unlike most elves has long dark chestnut brown hair that has grown down to his shoulders, it is well trimmed and kept looking impeccable. He has watery dark blue eyes that seem to shimmer with an intelligence and an understanding of the world that does not match even his physical age. He stands just over 5'8" in height and weighs about 75 kilograms, he has a very athletic with very clear and well-defined muscles. Since Tathar is the eldest son of the ruling family in their sacred forest city of Esgaleryn he usually dresses in clothes that show his signs of regency. He will usually don white or cream pants with long grey leather boots and a shirt of a similar color to the trousers, these will then more than likely have ornate patterns in gold or silver sewn within them. He will usually carry his blade with him in a sheath by his side made of similar leather to his boots. When in times of combat he will usually wear the battle armour of the House of Felagund, it looks exactly like the armour that Elf [Can't think of his name] wore during the battle of Helms Deep. [b]Ability:[/b] Tathar can run faster than any other of his kind can, whether it be on long or short distances he is unmatched. From a standing position he can leap about 2.5 meters in the air where as from a running start he can throw himself up to 3.5 meters. Tathar's bloodline appears to have made him the pinnacle of his races abilities. [b]Personality:[/b] A calm and noble soul, Tathar has lived his entire life in the knowledge that he would one day become the Lord of the sacred Wood of Esgaleryn, even with this great burden Tathar has remained a regular person without his bloodline going to his head. He treats people as though they ought to be treated, with respect, dignity, kindness and compassion. He has often left the safety of the Veiled Woods to visit his counterparts in Othrondmir and Minuial Amru to seek guidance and knowledge on how best to serve his people, as well as to make new friendships with his kin who reside therein. As he is the representative of the Taur Tawarwaith at the Iaur Tirith he has developed a keen sense of strategy and warfare he has come to greatly admire and respect his counterpart Galdor Calafalas of the City of Othrondmir and of Inwë Helyanwë of Minuial Amru. Though he may seem to be more interested in becoming an effective and just ruler he realises that such things often come only after the blades of war have been drenched in blood. He is one of the most skilled swordsmen in all of the sacred Veiled Woods after years of practice and training, and his keen eyes give his a very accurate and deadly shot with his bow. Tathar had a normal enough childhood from the view of nobility, he began his studies from a young age in all aspects that he would require as Lord of the Veiled Woods. These studies would range from diplomacy whether that be negotiations or the art of war to commerce and trade, it was quite apparent that he had an astute and intelligent mind as he quickly began to take a fast and yet firm grasp of his studies, which in turn greatly impressed his tutors. As he grew older it became more and more apparent that he took great interest in the world of Dôr Edhellen around him, he decided that he would visit the Halls of Othrondmir at the age of 39 [still quite young by Elven standards] so as the put his skills of commerce to the test. He knew that Othrondmir was famous for it's many merchants and for their keen business sense, it was well known that the Taur Tawarwaith are quite reclusive and prefer to keep their business to themselves so his visit to the Underground Jewel [as the common people call it] was seen as quite an extra-ordinary event. He was welcomed by the Lord of the City and shown it's attractions and intrigue with great zeal since it was as long as anyone could remember since they'd had a visit by one of the nobility of the Taur Tawarwaith. Tathar was most impressed by the vast skills and incredible beauty that lay within Othrondmir and so he decided to stay therein for a number of years so as to truly appreciate the city and it's people. He also chose to stay so that he would be able to learn from the great Library Vaults and to propose several trade agreements with between the Veiled Woods and the Underground Jewel. It was here that his skills of diplomacy and trade came into full effect as Tathar wished to see greater co-operation between all the races of the Elves within Dôr Edhellen. After 3 years of his stay Tathar had forged new ties between his people and the people of Othrondmir, and so he decided to return home for a number of years as to rest and to once again see the green lush of the Tree instead of the stone halls of Othrondmir. After an number of years at home once again he began to take the time to truly value the beauty of the Forest but also so realise why it was that his people were thankful of their secrecy and reclusiveness towards the other Elves. And so Tathar remained in the Veiled Woods for about the next hundred years so as to learn more from his father and mother as to become an fair and noble ruler of the Forest, on his 140 birthday he was given his blade Fingolfin Felagund by his father. His father told him that [I]Fingolfin Felagund[/I] or [I]The Sacred Leaf[/I] was a sword forged over 600 years before by a smith of the forest called Curunír, his father told him that this blade had been forged the [i]Night of the First Greening[/i] [A time when the Leaves in the Forest return their green color after winter] and that blade held special powers for those who knew how to use them. And so Tathar decided after several more years that he would once again leave the Veiled Woods so as to observe the beauty of the Mountains of Minuial Amru to visit the Elenath Tawaraith or the Star Elves as they were also known. His visit was quite similar to that of his once a centre and a half previously in the Halls of Othrondmir and the Mirdain Tawarwaith, during his stay he was introduced to their young ambassador named Inwë Helyanwë who was a full 70 years his junior. Tathar found her quite intriguing even though she was still quite young and he now entering the time when he where he would no longer be considered young. They had interesting conversations and although Tathar had not taken a wife[ and he still hasn't] he felt that as much as he enjoyed her company she was not interested in him emotionally, and so as a parting gift he gave to her a small wooden flute of one of the Veiled Forests oldest trees. So he once again decided to return to the Forests where he chose to remain for the next few decades until the formation of the Iaur Tirith, it was now that he was asked to be the Taur Tawaraith Ambassador to the Council. Even though he is the eldest member of the council he has chosen only to speak when he feels it warrants it and to act only when necessary....[/color][/font]

[color=#518CBD][font=trebuchet ms]In my own personal opinion and one shared by several others, [b]The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker[/b] is one of the, if not [i]the[/i] best games ever produced by Nintendo. Now I was once quite sceptical of the Cel-shaded graphics too, wondering why the hell Nintendo would have gone for such as childish type of animation. I still think they are childlike animations and that is exactly what made me fall in love with this game. I mean what better way to capture the magic of a story than by using such colourful and bright animations and characters [I mean come on look at the King of Red Lions and tell me it doesn't look cool]. My one and only gripe about this game is the fact that it was far, far too easy. I can normally finish a Zelda game once but to the challenge [except A Link to the Past] but this game I finished without ever dying, ever, not even once. Granted I always had a fairy but I never used it, I mean that is some sort of record for me on a Zelda Game. I thought that the dungeons were well laid out, but that didn't excuse the ease of the enemies inside. I enjoyed a lot of the mini-games there in, the letter sorting was a real pain sometimes, but it was enjoyable none the less, then again any game that has Tingle in it and his well over the top prices may warrant a warning. My brother who also plays the game with me used to gripe about not having his sea chart complete, as a piece of advice I would say that you should just stock up on fish food and spend a while just sailing and completing your map. It may take a while but it is worth it in the end. I would without a doubt recommend this game to any true video game fan, behind the cute exterior lies a very well thought out, very well made and very, very enjoyable game.[/color][/font]

I will be contacting those who were meant to participate in the RPG [i.e. Solo Tremaine and MajinVegeta] to see if they are still interesting in playing. I'd like to apologise for not posting quite so often as I should but I intend to make this a sucess. [i]Van's head lay flat against the marshy ground where Jodo had been treating him. He could only hear dim voices and sounds but they seemed strange, like shouts and blaster shots, all souned far away but he sensed that they were much closer. He tried to open his eyes, but the pain was quite intense, after a few moments he blinked them open to see that he was on the planet laying down on the ground facing the sky. He felt along the ground with his right hand feeling the desity and consistancy of the soil, it was wet and marshy and not the best for standing on. He noticed his hearing coming back and realised that he must have crashed after bing unable to pull up, and it was then that he heard a roar and saw a large creature of similar color to the swamp he was in, it had large teeth imbedded in a snout and thick scaly armored hide. Scared witless he pulled himself of the ground and saw several strangers levelling weapons at the beast, a Noghiri well known assassins of Lord Vader, a Bothan well known for their ability as spies, a Kiffar who's race Van knew little about and a young boy. He saw the Noghiri and the Kiffar fire several blaster shots at the beast as they tried to leave the area. Van stood in an almost forzen position as the beast reared and thrashed as the blaster shots struck it's thick hide. The Bothan stood holding a Long Vibro Axe as if waiting for the beast to try and come closer so that he could get a swipe at it, but such and act was not to happen as the Kiffar noticed that Van was up and called for them to get the hell outta there. They didn't have to be told twice as the group ran as fast as the could back the way they came. Van felt strange, normally due to the xenophobic Imperial brainwashing he would have felt quite suspicious towards these people, but he deduced that the fact that they hadn't fired on him meant that either they weren't his enemy of that they were more worried about that big moster that had sufaced near where they found him. It was then that Van actually had a chance to look himself over, he saw that his flight suit was torn across his shoulder and that his lower left arm was bleeding but that the wound seemed quite superficial. After maybe seven or eight minutes of running Van found himself along with the group in an open area at the edge of the forest, the Bothan suggested that they rest and try and find out exactly what was going on....[/i] [b]Jedgar:[/b] Alright, since the rest of us have been introduced I think you'd better tell us your name..... Icarium knew that he had to go back to the Court to see an old friend of his before he left. [Color=#518CBD][Size=1]I have always enjoyed the TV series Mr Bean, the misfortune of the poor man would be enough to make your heart break inside. [spoiler]I think the funniest epidode is when he decided to paint his front room and then wrapped everything in newspaper, but then when he'd lit the firecracker in the paint and tried to get out he couldn't find the key and got covered in white paint, heh heh great stuff[/spoiler] I wasn't a real fan of Bean the Movie and haven't watched much of the new Animated series of Bean but I hear it's the same kind of slap stick comedy. I think Mr Bean is a comedy that anyone can sit down and enjoy. [/color][/size]

[color=#518CBD][size=1]I've seen some trailers for this film and it looks quite interesting, I'm not sure when it's due out but that kind of supernatural-horror genre is one of my personal favourites. The fact that Hugh Jackman will play Van Helsing would tell me that this is going to be a very action based film but I'll wait until it is out to see if I'm right[/size][/color]

[I]Van lay down on the surgical table on the Bladerunner, he felt the surgical robots completing their work sewing up the major gashes and cuts across his body which weren't sewn up by Trini, he knew that there was something aboard. Maybe not Weir but definitely something from that Hell dimension he'd gone into had returned with him aboard the Bladerunner. He knew what he had to do and he had to do it soon. He called to know how long it would take the machine to finish it's job "[b]1.4 minutes it responded in it's dead tone[/b]", he began to recall all his thoughts as he entered that Hell Dimension along with Weir. It was like his mind being torn into a thousand pieces and then being put back together in the wrong order, Van wondered if this is what drove Weir mad. Van then recalled how it seemed as if he was taken somewhere completely different, away from all the evil and the confusion of the Hell realm, somewhere his mind was rearranged in the proper order, where all his pains were taken from him and he found peace.......he supposed it must have been [b]Heaven[/b]. He remembered being told that he was to be sent back to help the others, to protect them from the influence of the hell dimension. He felt the constant jabs of the needles sewing his skin and muscles back together cease and he sat up onto the cold table. He felt the influence spread as it's words among the crew. He pulled himself off the table and felt the cold tiles of the floor underneath his feet, he winced as the new skin was moved for the first time, he knew that he should be careful not to tear it but he couldn't waste time now? He walked shakily over to one of the cabinets in the ward and pulled on a pair of the white medical scrubs that they wore while performing surgery. He mostly works with his brother Sariyah [hope you don't object Gavin] only Icarium is more of a generalised good fortune spreader than his sibling and will not usually stick to one person unless they have one miserable life, and there have been a few. When up in the Court along with the others he will usually don the usual long mystic white robes and the purple velvet cloak over it, along with the long majestic wings. Where as on Middlore he prefers to go incognito and blend in while he does his stuff. That's not to say he doesn't enjoy flying about the place on his wings he just doesn't think it appropriate to do around the middlings. [b]Personality:[/b] Icarius like every other Angel has been around since the dawn of time, he participated in the war against [b]The Eye[/b] and against the Demons and personally slew Azrael one of the Demon Lords with his hammer [b]Helios[/b]. He was one of only a handful of Angels to face-off against an Arch-Angel and their betrayal has left him very suspicious of them even after two thousand years. It was after the beginning of New Middlore that he decided to lay down [B]Helios[/b] and relinquish his position as a Guardian of the Court. Many of the other Angels were surprised by his reaction but respected his decision and allowed him to take up his current position as a Watcher of the Middlings. Now as I was saying these two Youts for the murder of a Convenience Store clerk in a small town in Alabama. Now the two boys know they have committed a crime [one forgot to pay for a can of Tuna] and when they arrested they quickly confess to what they believe is a simple case of Theft. However when they learn their actual charge things heat up as they attempt to prove their innocence they decided to call in Vincent Gambinni, attorney at law or just plain Cousin Vinny. After a shaky start and several nights in prison Vinny pulls of a stunning victory for his "clients" and proves not only to the court but secretly himself that he is a true lawyer, as opposed to a personal injury attorney...[/spoiler] And so the spoilers end. The next morning he had woken up far away from where he had fallen asleep in a village where usage for said cart was quite regular. Sitting up he was asked for "nine pence" for being dead. "I'm not dead" replied Gobbles, "Yes you are, if you weren't dead then you wouldn't be on this cart, ergo you have to be dead" was the Cart Keeper's response. So for about the next week Garin had to put up with being pushed around in a cart full of dead people. Luckily for Garin he was able to slip of the cart when a stray arrow from a despondent Prince hit the Cart Keeper and killed him, or at least fatally wounded him but was then hit by a wooden badger.... It was later that night that he met up King Shinny, got drunk [again] and as per usual with every time he gets drunk he ends up doing something completely and utterly stupid, this time he has made his worst one yet and decided to join with King Shinny on another adventure...[/color][/font]

On it were a lot of datapads, other assorted communications equipment and a standard issue Imperial Blaster. Van looked up and finally made eye contact with the Commander, his eyes were a cold, yet fierce and powerful, his steel grey hair was kept impeccably trimmed and sat on his head without a hair out of place. The Commander motioned for Van to sit in the seat provided for him and offered him a drink from a side table near him, Van sat but politely declined the offer for a drink and awaited the Commander's reason for calling him...[/I] [b]Commander:[/b] Lieutenant Ambrose, I have been looking through your personal file as well as your current progress records here on Cardia and I must say that I am impressed by your skills as a pilot for the Stellar Navy. Your skills are such that I have decided to transfer you to another Imperial Facility.... [I]Van's mind linked back to his dream with Jareth and how he said that he would soon leave Cardia and be moved to the Emperor's personal service on Coruscant, the Commander was about to tell him where he was going but Van already knew.[/I] [b]Commander:[/b] Your skills are such that you have been requested for the personal staff of the Emperor himself on Coruscant, there is a shuttle to take you there and you leave immediately. May I be the first to congratulate you on your success, I of course intent to contact your father aboard the Tiberius and tell him of this success... [I]Van's mind was once again nowhere near where it should have been...everything he had ever believed in had just crumpled up like a piece of paper....he knew that he was going to Coruscant and he would be in the Emperor's personal staff....unless something were to interfere with that...[/I] [b]Van:[/b] Ahh...I really don't know what to say except thank you Commander, I have always hoped that I would someday serve my Emperor except I never dreamed it would come so soon. If you don't mind I will take my leave to prepare my belongings for my trip....Thank you again Commander.. [I]The Commander smiled and waved his hand allowing the young Lieutenant to leave and prepare himself for the trip. Van quickly saluted and with equal speed or perhaps haste turned on his heels and walked out of the Commander's office and headed towards his barracks to pack his things in preparation for his leaving. He pulled off his old flight uniform and decided to take a shower before putting on a clean one, after these two jobs were done he began to pack all his different positions in his pack. He hadn't brought much to Cardia but there were a few things like some datapads, some clothing and his blaster, he ducked out of the barracks and headed towards the Lambda Class shuttle that was waiting in the courtyard to take him to Coruscant. There was a middle aged Imperial Captain standing on the loading platform who stared at Van as he made his ascent up to him. He asked Van his name and for the transfer papers he has received from the Commander and then he allowed Van to pass. Van saw that this was troop carrier version of the Shuttle and therein sat about 7 or 8 persons ranging from people a few years older than him to of a good number of years older than him. After several minutes of preparations for flight, the ship's engines took them into orbit and then jumped to hyperspace, it was a short time after this that the alarm klaxons sounded and Van knew that there was a problem and then an explosion rocked the ship. After several seconds of disorientation Van found himself maybe the only living occupant of the ship and that the resulting short-outs had fried the navigational computer as well as the Holonet and communications equipment caused by the engine explosion. He saw that they were back in normal space. Van peered around the cockpit for any signs up life until his leg was gripped by the pilot who spoke in a hoarse voice with blood flowing from his lips...[/I] [b]Naval Pilot:[/b] Solar Sailor...in the cargo bay....Solar...Sailor...... [I]Van knew that the core had probably breached and that he may only have minutes before it exploded and that he'd have to get to that ship.......He moved quickly and entered the cargo bay where a single Geonosian Solar Sailor sat on it's struts, he ran forward and checked the power cells to check how far they had been depleted....What luck he thought, it was fully powered and ready for launch, but such a thing was questionable unless the ship had been rigged to explode..... Too many possibilities ran through Van's mind and he wished he could clear them, he entered the cockpit and fired up the engines..... He looked around for a mechanism that would allow him to open back the doors of the shuttle, after a moment of searching he activated the door control and the ship rose off it's struts as Van powered up the engines. He was maybe a good two hundred meters away from the Shuttle before it exploded. Van lay back and closed his eyes and wondered what he could do, all he had left now was this ship and the clothes on his back, he turned to navigational control and went to punch in the co-ordinates of a near Imperial Base when he felt compelled to enter a different set.... The ship hit Hyperspace again and Van sat back and attempted to get some sleep... Van awoke to the sound of alarm on the Sailor and a Victory Class Star Destroyer on his stern. He pulled up the flight controls and set the ship towards the planet....Another set of shots flew passed the ship and he set for a low descent, he knew that if he could get low enough the Star Destroyer mightn't hit him but all the same he mightn't be able to pull up.....He had already reached the upper atmosphere and found the planet to be marshy ball of land and water, as he got closer he began to observe signs of recent fire..... He began to pull up and to allow his ship to land but there was a problem with the landing struts, he cursed under his breath and tried to slow his descent before he hit the ground..... he saw that he was less than a mile off ground before he began to slow.... he felt dizzy from all the rocking.... and then the ship him the ground sliding.....[/i][/color][/font]
