We could then move the Convention Center into the Anime & Manga category and complete its transformation into a proper full-on convention forum (and I think we could actually do a few things to give it a bigger "con" flavour).
The only concern I'd have about any move of the Convention Center is whether or not it has the activity to maintain it as a full forum rather than making it a subforum. Most threads only get a handful of replies, if any at all so perhaps it would be better off as a subforum ?

Too many to count. Always left puzzled by the certifiable womaniser suddenly exploding out of the closet.

Finished Gene Brewer's K-PAX trilogy a couple of days ago, and I must admit I quite enjoyed them. While the film adaptation is one of my guilty pleasures of cinema, I must admit I much preferred the books in how much more of a story is developed, even in just the first novel on which the movie was based. I would've preferred if the
question as to whether prot is an alien, or just another persona of Porter's
wasn't answered in so clear-cut a manner as it was, which seemed to take a little mystery out of the series. Decent little sci-fi/mystery trilogy, I found it hard to stop reading it for no other reason I suppose than I wanted to see how thing progressed.
Skip the first half when you watch it online or something. They'll do better next time, surely.
Meh, not that dedicated to seeing them play. World Cup doesn't really get any good until the Quarter Finals and all the good teams start having to play one another.

Word is we're going to have a break between this week's chapter and the 500th, which means hopefully that "Naruto defeats the Kyuubi" will actually occur next week before the final panel. Lord knows I've an eerie feeling we're about to head straight back to Sasuke's new EMS eyes afterwards.
Just to throw another thought into the discussion, what if we re-merge the anime and manga forums, so that any sub-forums that are specific to a franchise can by definition include the relevant anime and manga? That's another option.
I think that's probably the best solution, but at the same time I'm hesitant due to the fact that the last subforum died rather quickly after its inception. Perhaps we could do the new subforum based on WSJ manga and their anime adaptations, which would cover all the big manga currently under discussion.

1. Gavin tried to organize his very own soccer team in honor of World Cup, but he had one problem: Gavin doesn't have any interest. 2. Raiha tells me that one of the many translations for the word 'Otaku' is 'House.' If OtakuBoards were a house Raiha would spend all of her time in the basement. 3. Did you know that Japan 86 worked at McDonalds? Once she accidentally dropped meat into the meat grinder, and they charged double for the hamburgers. 4. Adam's huge passion for movies inspired his 100ThingsILearned website, but I would never see a movie with him. The problem is that he won't stop critiquing during the picture. 5.
Cool, well, my PS3 I.D. is white-pikmin so feel free to add me if you like. Whenever I'm online I never see any other players! (Although admittedly I've only had a couple of online sessions so far).
Ah bugger, playing the game on the Xbox so I guess that's a no go then. Shame.
And, going back to what you initially said about Marston, I agree with you. After spending so much time at MacFarlane's Ranch early on - and it becoming so much of Marston's motivation to get more deeply involved with the local people - it feels kind of strange to just leave it behind. I'm comfortable not using spoilers for that just because it's literally the first part of the game.
I actually figured that after
you take over the game as Jack that you'd go back and see how things have changed over the last three years with all the characters you knew.
Bit of a shame only hearing about so many of them in the papers. Although if I never saw
Irish, Reyes or West-Dickens
again I'd be happy.

Commiserations to the Aussies on their match... ...and thank God we finally saw some decent football from a world-class team, although to be fair it should've been a lot more than 4-0 if they'd capitalised on all their chances.

Have to agree that it does lack some of the variety of missions offered by GTA, and how little interaction there is between Marston and other characters once their segment of the game is over. I was actually a little disappointed
you can't steal that car in Blackwater
just for fun. Never got too involved with the multiplayer (only at Level 23), although hopefully Outlaws to the End will bring some fun back to the experience. If you and Neil are interested James, myself and a few former OBers have a posse we run every once in a while.

At the moment I'm messing around with a few friends on the multiplayer of Transformers: War for Cybertron (or Call of Duty: Transformers as it's also known), even though only two of the classes are available for play and then only to level 3 (which you can reach after one or two games of Conquest if you win) it's still a heck of a lot of fun and I'd advise any TF or FPS fans to give it a look.

At the moment I'm alternating between "WTF is this ****?!!" and "How can I have sat through nearly eight minutes of a Mortal Kombat and not heard the theme music ?", so yeah big positive thoughts from me on this one. I'm not at all convinced by the shift in plot, and as Alex touched on the dialogue is something between horrible and the-person-who-wrote-this-should-be-killed, sure the original Mortal Kombat movie wasn't exactly sterling but the fact it didn't take itself seriously worked so much better than this. Jeri Ryan must be pretty down on funds to do something like this.

I think we are going to see some tactical football at this point in the competition which is a bit of a shame because it does lead to some really unimpressive performances, at least from teams we should see better from. A lot of teams want to see how their potential opposition are reacting to the climate in South Africa and how that could potentially affect their football. In England's case however I think they expected to just walk out and over the Americans and when they didn't it spooked them into some very defensive oriented play, that and Gerard and Lampard just couldn't sync well together for most of the match.
;___; it was pathetic. England just couldn't finish a damn thing. I really hope they get it together =/ I think the pregame dudes said that America hadn't beaten England since like... 1996!
I actually thought the Americans had a good chance to scoring a second goal and winning the match had it not been for Carragher's blatant foul, how the ref let that one go is completely beyond me but there were several questionable calls or lack of them in that match.

Ah how I enjoyed taunting my English friends over their performance in that match. The Americans played well to give them their credit but there was something terribly wrong with England during that match. They'd seriously want to improve their game if they think they have a hope of reaching the quarter finals, let alone further.

Personally I think
Nova
is part of what Grana was talking about when he called Matsuri an Almighty-type, in other words a fighter who is able to use each type of Psi to its maximum capability.
