Also, WHY GAVIN, WHY?! I do so detest the dentist.:animedepr
Exactly. What do you think my new avatar and banner are about ? Sweet dreams. Mwahahahahaha.

Given the only two women I've ever dreamed of from OB are older than me, I'm fairly sure I'm safe. Also chibi, enjoy the dentist visit in tonight's trip to the land of Nod.
In any case R.I.P. Mrs. Murphy.
Indeed, a terrible tragedy for the Murphy family so close to Christmas. And yes chibi it's entirely within the purview of my duties/hobbies to terrify my minions while they sleep, it's just a simple reminder that wherever you go I will be there, watching you.
Also, weird dream last night. Again. I was a hitchhiker. And Gavin kept showing up to offer me maps of all the planets in exchange for my immortal soul. When I told him I'd already given him my immortal soul when I joined his empire, he told me I could get the maps in exchange for a good shoe-shining instead. So I did. But then he kicked me in the face and shouted, "THEY'RE NOT SPARKLING! HOW DARE YOU?! YOU WILL NEVER WORK IN THIS TOWN AGAIN!" So then I got really sad about not being able to ever acheive my dream of being the greatest shoe-shiner in whatever town it was that I was in. But then I realized I could hitchhike to another town. And then I woke up.
...Riiiight... *Shakes head*

I've had my collector's edition copy reserved for quite some time now, so I'm most definitely getting my hands on Bioware's newest RPG the minute it comes out. Like Muad said Magus I'd definitely recommend you play the first game before you play the second as the former actively feeds part of the story of the latter depending on choices you made and aside from that it's one, if not the best sci-fi based RPGs in years. The story, characters, graphics and combat are all phenomenally engaging and my only gripe about the entire experience would be the inventory system which to be fair isn't something you end up using all that often over the course of the game. One of the things about 2 I'm most looking forward to has to be the way the story actively reflects the character. Sheppard just felt a little too unaffected by what was going on in the story last time, although maybe I'm just used to the Good vs Evil systems that normally generate a physical response.
My only thought as of now is you have an awesome avatar.
That's what happens when the entire staff works together on something. Heh.
I've never really cared for that form. Take away all that hair then I'd probably like it a bit more, but with that hair, I think it's just blah.
Funny, I think it's the hair that really completes the look which would otherwise make him look a little too skeletal.
Someone start giving me some positive thoughts. I need them right now...
Of all my minions you are not the one I hate the most.
Gavin was actually a kid?
Yes, although I don't think anyone would ever use the term "grown-up" or "adult" to describe my mentality. :animeswea

Agreed, I still think the only way Naruto is going to get his reality check is if Sasuke himself beats it into Naruto and even then it's not guaranteed to take. I'm genuinely curious about the genjutsu Danzo used on Sasuke, if that was indeed what it was. After all Sasuke did still have blood on his face after Danzo reappeared behind him. Oh well, apparently we're getting into a repeat of "it was all just a genjutsu" from the Sasuke/Itachi fight, which is rather fitting I suppose given that fight just featured in the anime.

Finished the final book Sergei Lukyanenko's Watch series, fittingly titled Last Watch (or Final Watch depending on the publisher) an enjoyable enough ending to the series, although a tad predictable in some parts. I have to say based on the title I was hoping for a little more than what occurred, given the events that seemed to be building up from the previous books leading towards
an inevitable final conflict despite the zero-sum game both Watches and the Inquisition seemed determined to maintain
, heck the ending blatantly
ensures the Status Quo is God
. Given the promise the series started with, I'm a bit disappointed to tell the truth, although there is rumour of further sequels.

Currently trundling my way through the Game of the Year edition of Fallout 3, given it was cheaper and quicker than downloading the expansions from Microsoft (something of a curiosity that). Operation: Anchorage while not really in keeping with the spirit of Fallout was an entertaining diversion, more FPS than RPG, the final resolution of The Pitt left me in quite a moral quandary and the sooner I finished Mothership Zeta the happier I'll be. I'm certainly hoping Broken Steel and Point Lookout will make the price paid a little more tolerable.
I think I may have found a new favorite. Dr. Cid from Final Fantasy XII There is just something about the bravado of a mad scientist.
As awfully pretentious as the dubbing was in that game sometimes, I have to admit that Cidolfus was a treat to encounter although I suppose that was to be a given, given he was
Balthier's father
.
As long as there are blankets, kids will make blanket forts. I wouldn't worry about it too much.
*Drops his pillow* ...You mean we're supposed stop making blanket forts at some point ?

"Will they won't they" moments in relation to romance between two characters. Full Metal Panic nearly drove me demented over which of the two mains, Kaname and Sousuke would admit to liking each other. God love poor clumsy Tessa at least she had the guts to admit she liked Sousuke...even if he thought she was talking about liking alcohol at the time. :animesigh

Apparently my younger sister finally convinced our father to put the tree up at home last night, previous years he's been outvoted by the rest of us to have it up the first week in December but now that my brother and I moved out he's been able to get his way for a little longer. Haven't seen it yet but apparently it's a natural tree though the branches curve up instead of out, I'll provide a photo tomorrow when I actually get home.
