Fair warning, some might find this video freaky and disturbing instead of fun. o_O I'm kind of going back and forth between freaky and interesting... Think Halloween when you think of potentially disturbing and you'll get what I mean. Anyway, watch at your own risk.
OK seriously, that was one of the most disturbed things I've ever seen in my life. Thank you for adding something new to my nightmares Rach... And now on a much lighter note. -
*Watches tumbleweed roll by* So it seems Naruto is going to confront Nagato directly now, that conversation should be interesting.

Raiha and I were discussing earlier Korey as to whether it would make sense for the 12th Precinct would be the closest to Old Town to explain their abnormally high KIA numbers and thus are considered closer to competition rather than the law by the gangs trying to get back into Old Town. Your thoughts ? Oh and the cut they get is just considered a vice tax by Captain Kane, protection money would cause his ethics and morals to have a bit of a dilemma.

I enjoy cooking from time to time, although generally speaking they're pretty simple dishes that involve steaming some veg, grilling some meat and then throwing some kind of sauce from a jar on top of it accompanied by potatoes, rice of pasta depending on my mood. I can certainly understand though how a person could quickly lose all love for cooking if they were doing it everyday, if not several times a day for others. It's already annoying enough to do it and just have people toss the dishes back at you and expect you do to the washing up as well.

And so the series ends, and I have to say it's been a great one overall. I'm not going to post any spoilers because some people mightn't be finished yet but having watching Gundam Wing before this I consider 00 to be certainly its equal if not its superior. That said things aren't fully over yet given we've got a movie in 2010 which will hopefully tie up a few more plot points that didn't quite seem to get resolved (or perhaps were left intentionally vague for the movie) so it'll be interesting to see what happens there.
You mean a thousand pounds of family can't live on twenty-two thousand pounds of money? Lol.
I laughed, felt bad, then laughed again. The way media goes I'm sure Max Clifford will get his hands on this lot and attempt to turn them into the new national saints in the fight against obesity. In a way it's worse when trash magazines like Closer can capture headlines with these kind of pointless stories when there's so much more important things going on in the world.

While I'd certainly like to hear about more about the quality and taste of the vended pizza before I'd try it, I certainly can't see any reason why this couldn't catch on in the same way beverage and confectionery vending machines have become commonplace.

I thought we'd established Josh that Dawlish wasn't going to have much of a spotlight until later in the RPG. Have to agree with Nomurah!'s picking I am Legend anyone with even a vague knowledge of biology and chemistry better be prepared to have their intelligence insulted right from the offset by so many factors of this movie, in fact rather than going off and outlining them I'm going to just get the five page article that does already did it. Magical loom through which a highly secretive group of assassins keeps order in the world ? And then can change the trajectory of a bullet as it flies ? Really ?! You thought these was a good plot ideas Mr Script-Writer ? How stoned were you when you wrote this trash ? Yeah, Wanted was a bad joke of a movie there's nothing even slightly redeemable about it, do not if you value your time bother to see this movie.
You know, I was really into this anime until
Kamina died
then I just couldn't get back into it, I grinded through like 3 more episodes and then I just stopped. Can someone give me the faith to watch this again? Does it get better?
Sure
Kamina's death is a downer
no question, and then
Simon going all emo
for an episode or two isn't great
though word of God is that this was a stick at Evangelion
. Seriously though once you get to episode 11 everything picks up again for the better and you will be hooked the whole way to the end of the series without question.
Hehe. I have him pegged as the most arrogant ninja in this series. (Perhaps even moreso than Kabuto.. Can't stand him either.) Even though he knows his boundaries and whatnot, I still say he's the most arrogant.
I've never thought of Naruto as arrogant; he's headstrong, stupidly-overconfident and and with a level of determination nothing but another shoenen protagonist could match. I've always thought that arrogance required a certain level of distain that Naruto just doesn't possess as demonstrated throughout the manga, not once has he ever thought himself, or said himself better than someone else...unlike a certain Uchiha.
Ulquiorra: No matter how much it looks like one, there's no way a human can use a Cero... Yet we've seen Shinji use one against Grimmjow, while masked (I refuse to use the horrifically clunky term "Hollowfied"). Could this mean what Ichigo is currently going through is another stage of powerup that the Shinj has already mastered? So we all saw the full-Hollow transformation coming, but we were all expecting him to look like this, right? What's going on? His mask is completely different. New shape, new design, new horns. It's almost like the Shirosaki we know isn't involved in this.
Indeed, although one could speculate that Ichigo has gone one step even further than Shinji and his Vizard in the same way Ulquiorra has gone one step further in his evolution as an Arrancar with the second released form. Until we actually see the Vizard demonstrate their full power it's still utter speculation, although Ichigo's part-hollow form and actions remind me of Kensei during the TBtP arc. Perhaps Shirosaki isn't even involved in this, Ichigo did make a fairly firm statement that he wasn't coming back, and the fact remains Shirosaki, like Zangetsu is simply a part of Ichigo's own soul rather than a new being. Either way I imagine we'll get more info next week.
It makes sense to me that Minato would hide himself until the later stages of the Kyuubi's release, as that's when it's more likely to be gaining control over Naruto than the other way round, and likely when he'll most need help not to succumb to its powers (a la what we almost saw). He probably knew the Demon Fox's power would help him in his struggles early on, when Naruto could still manipulate it to his will, or at least when there are other people (like Jiraiya and Yamato) who can deal with it. So yeah.
Maybe, I still feel the earlier he'd learned his origins for himself the better. Yes Minato being there right as he was about to take down the seal and give him a talk did calm him down out of his eight-tailed state, but I still feel a brief message from him around the one-tailed state would've been immensely beneficial for Naruto as well. Perhaps the 4th expected Naruto to know about who he was already as opposed to the information black-out regarding Naruto and the Kyuubi that the 3rd implimented.
And not learning of his hertiage before he could handle it is probably a good thing, too; imagine if Naruto had known from the start that he was the son of the most powerful Hokage so far, and that he housed the most powerful demon monster in the world within his body... methinks arrogance and destruction would reign supreme. Would make for a great retelling of the story, though ^__^
Have to disagree here, if anything Naruto's knowledge of his origins as well as his powers wouldn't have given rise to even the possibility that he might follow down Gaara's path of psychotic destruction. I don't think it's in his character to become selfish and arrogant like Sasuke, even if he were to know he had the potential to become the most powerful ninja the village had ever produced. Sure he'd probably question as to whether people liked him as a person instead of liking him because he was the son of the 4th, but even then I figure it would still be the former with most people.
I roll the cigarette with the finely-honed skill of a terminal cancer patient and pause only for a moment as I place it between my lips, swearing that if I can get through a day without any kind of shit I'll give them up for good. The lighter's naked flame dances beneath the paper as I take a long, slow drag and savour the flavour as it dances across my tongue. Another bad day in a lousy week in a crappy month in a shitty year of a piss-poor career...and I'm left wondering how I manage to drag myself out of bed every morning to come back to it again, or even just how I can sit here and not even think about eating a bullet. Maybe I'm just getting too old; the longest serving captain of O-City's infamous 12th Precinct affectionately known among fellow officers as the "Dead Men Walking" for the amount of cops who've been killed while patrolling our precinct. Next year marks my tenth having taken over in the big chair since Captain Quinn was murdered, Quinn had been a decent man, refusing to give up territory to the Mafia to push their whores further into our streets. He'd been sharing a meal with his wife in a small Greek eatery less than two blocks from the station when a single gunman had walked in and just shot him in the head and then left just as calmly. The day I was promoted the Don who'd made the hit invited me for a meal in the same restaurant and told me what an unfortunate thing it had been, but that people had to learn their place in the world...I agreed, so I stuck my fork right up to the handle into his eye and killed the bodyguards before they had a chance to react...I started a war and didn't give a shit because I'm not going to be walked over, I'm not going to let good upstanding people get walked over by dirt. The decanter makes that strange glug noise as I generously top up my ice-filled tumbler and I salute to the two orphaned badges on my polished desk swearing that tomorrow they'll bury four of their own. Personally I'd rather Ichigo not continue to make gigantic leaps in terms of power until he's the strongest character to make it to the end. One of the big problems that accompanies the "My Kung Fu Is Stronger Than Yours " trope is that newer, stronger enemies need to be constantly added in order to make the story challenging for the hero and it becomes almost dull to just wait for the next villains to show up. I'd rather he stay roughly where he is (and all power-levels in addition to his) and he just learn to use his skills more effectively, or pick up a few new ones (sensing Reiatsu would probably be handy) rather than just "ph34r mah new h0ll0w p0w4s lolrolfwtfpwnagelol!!" [Edit] Well the new chapter is out, Ichigo wakes up, goes full-on hollow mode (and looks immensely f-ing awesome), Force pulls his sword into his hand, Ceros Ulquiorr'a Obscura Cero out of the way and then proceed to rip off Ulquiorra's arm in their brief probably 15 seconds of renewed combat...and yet as cool as that all was I'm still sort of hoping this is power Ichigo can only achieve in the absolute most dire situations and can never truly control. I'm guessing he's going to tear Ulquiorra to shreds in the next chapter and we're going to have his friends try to calm him down before the other four captains arrive.
Just some silliness that some people have pointed out at TZ. When a member of Akatsuki is about to die the coat comes off. Now that I think about it, that's actually true. I hear that Pein came out his coat, so I'm wondering if he's gonna kick the bucket now..?
Yup coat-loss has been a portent for the death of the Akatsuki member since Hidan and Kakuzu way back when. Of course it doesn't count with Team Fail seeing as their coats weren't weave from 100% badass like the others so they got away with just a fairly severe ***-whopping until Sasuke pulled out his 1337 Haxingan skillz. As for Naruto gut-punching his father (it's confirmed by the way) I have to admit it's fairly reasonable. He's been an outside for the past 16 years and then suddenly he's told the reason behind it all is because his dad put a demon in him and can apparently appear in his mind and converse with him. This leads to the question why he didn't do a seal that would take effect at the first or second tail so Naruto would you know, know about his heritage instead of right before he goes to go off the deep end. Still apparently it was just a knee-jerk reaction.
Regarding Bavaria, I don't think we should be too surprised about the general negative reaction to her. While some of her attitudes are understandable (especially people moving into her house, etc)... it must be pointed out that she's generally been written as a snide, arrogant and somewhat nasty woman. So perhaps this is our fault, in that we've only ever portrayed her that way. It may be a good idea to try to inject some extra dimension to her character, by way of exploring her motives a bit more.
Agreed, I'm very much for actually expanding out Bavaria a bit to make her a more rounded character but at the same time if she continues to be such a nasty woman to other characters then such reactions are to be expected. I mean we spent most of the previous RPG writing her as being as rude as possible to the Grimalkins despite their long-standing affiliation with the family (and the particular closeness of the Dame and Leonhart) while then forming a relationship with the Dynast mere days and weeks after this husband was thought dead. Genuinely I think it would be strange if characters didn't dislike her, unless their last name was Deacon of course.

This is utterly moronic. While I can understand the need to discipline someone based on stealing food during shift and from within the store itself that could've been still sold, the fire someone for taking a sandwich from the trash (if he hadn't put it there himself to take later) that was going to be destroyed anyway and therefore could no longer be considered saleable stock (although you never know with some companies), yeah utterly moronic is about the only term that works for this.
