I've been meaning to add my own two cents to this for a while now. Otaklue is a great idea for an event/game Drizzt and I should know because it was the event I was working on for about two months after I became the new Convention Center moderator. Unfortunately as you probably figured out yourself already transferring the rules between a board-game and a forum-game are quite difficult and as much progress as I made with liamc2 we just couldn't get to the final stages. I would however like to extend and offer to partner up to work on this event as I'm eager to try and get Otaklue up and running eventually.
I don't see where that comes from at all, but maybe I'm missing something. Several players have been quick to hate her since day one. But yes, the Bavaria rehabilitation process is coming. And soon. -Shy
Personally I've been basing it off her actions and dialogue with Leonhart before his heart-attack. Leonhart tells her she's been spending most of her time at the palace and yes while this could be easily in her capacity as a diplomat does have the unfortunate implication as well she may be spending time with the man she appeared to develop feelings for and a relationship with while her husband was supposed to be dead. Additionally her reaction to Leonhart's new treasure hunt while yes again also easily explained as the reaction of an exasperated wife dealing with an incorrigible husband just lacks any kind of warmth between the two. Finally the way she brought up Jack and the Dynast knowing about the map/treasure sort of made it sound like she might've told them. Again this is all speculation but that's where I got the idea she's being even more of a pain than usual.
Afterthought: I can't help thinking he saw the supposedly released-Espada-only Cero Oscuras and thought, "That matches my colour scheme, I think I'll learn that!" This is the only reason we haven't seen him shooting a Cero since he nearly turned full Hollow in Vizard training - he's been waiting to see if they come in black!
Nice Raiyuu I actually genuinely laughed at that and Lord knows you're probably right in saying it.
Actually, I believe spoilers said that
Hinata is actually still alive, if just barely
.
Indeed, although given the sheer amount of destructive energy that accompanies each successive tail released, as well as Pein's ultimate capture technqiue one would wonder exactly how she is still alive. Not complaining, merely confused somewhat.
So what your basically saying is all we have to do is get rid of Dawlish and everyone can live happily ever after right? Right? RIGHT!!! :D *pokes everyone* You guys and your uber silly posturing. =P
Just try it priest. :p All joking aside can we do something to round Bavaria out a bit as a character so "kill her" is not the most common desire. I mean we did establish she loved Leonhart and only started getting closer to Primas after he was believed dead, now it seems that she has sod-all loyalty to the Almagests and actively works to subvert them from goals.
If she dies, all of the brats are going with her, just sayin.
My character gave the order to massacre a defeated fleet of enemies, killed his brother in a duel and now creates weapons for sale to any country with the cash; playing the morality/conscience card mightn't be an effective move Malkav. :p Very cool work with the map by the way James certainly gives a much grander idea of the world. Josh I'll try to write up that piece on the science behind alchemy this weekend when I get the chance.

I did a stupid amount of laugh at this. -
And Bavaria wonders why the Almagests have a famed temper when she seems to go out of her way to make their lives difficult. For a woman with such reputed skills in diplomacy you'd think she'd have the sense to avoid conflict where possible instead of actively provoking it. Any chance we can kill her off to create some sense of drama Josh ?
Thank's, I couldn't remeber Uryuu's name. So he did get his power back?
By getting his powers by do you mean his Quincy powers which were lost through using the Quincy Final Form back in Soul Society ? If so yes he got them back quite a while ago actually, back at the start of the Arrancar arc from training with his father.

It would be interesting if knowing Shirosaki's true name had some effect, although he went so far as to tell Byakuya he did not have a name during their fight so it mightn't be the case that he has one at all as compared to Zangetsu. As for the training session under Neliel, that'll have to wait until after Ulquiorra is done curb-stomping our hero.

There was plenty to enjoy in Snyder's adaption though I do have to admit I prefer the original graphic novel by a long stretch. In fairness though for a movie that was considered for a long time to be unfilmable he did a very admirable job of bringing it to the big screen while cutting out some of the ancillary material and still forming a very cohesive plot. I have to disagree though with critics assertions that in staying too close to the source material the film was a lesser entity, if Snyder had strayed too far from it it would have basically proven the original material was unfilmable and the end product would not have been Watchmen. Perhaps the only thing I didn't like about the film was
Ozymandius' character portrayal. He came off as far too villainous far too early in the film (to the point where my father who's never read the book leaned in and said "He's the bad guy" to me). His age and built seemed off as well, far too young and scrawny compared to the original.
Other than that though I thought it was a great adaptation and the Comedian won my favourite character of the movie spot.

Highlander: The Search for Vengeance. Breathes quite a lot of originality into a series I've always had a geeky love for, as one fan remarked "Chainsaw versus Katana ? Anime Quickenings ? WANT NAOW!!" Any Highlander fans, or any anime fans looking to check out something new might consider it.

Right now I'm listening to Lux Aeterna from Requiem for Dream, there's something hauntingly beautiful about the piece I really enjoy.

Bount Arc was pretty much just a waste of space, and the fact we've nearly caught up to the manga with the anime again means we're due even more filler before too long. As for Renji and Ishida, personally I thought it was obvious they're becoming more and more powerful by the chapter. Remember in the initial fight Chad was the bruiser without speed to keep up with Sonido and then by the time he fought the Privaron he was able to match said speed which is considered to be just below an Espada. Not unimpressive stuff. Ishida by the same token made a joke out of his Privarion opponent and although he was beaten by the Mayuri Espada that was down to lot of prior knowledge on the latter's part. That said when the main character goes from low-seated to elite captain level in the space of a few weeks of course other characters are going to look poorly powered by comparison. Hell it begs the question why Rukia didn't just use Shikai against that first hollow instead of getting nearly killed.

Indeed, I think a lot of angry fans are actually quite subdued with this chapter spoiler. Given we've been wondering for ages how
Naruto would react to meeting the Yondaime and the revelations of his own ancestry.

The reek of antiseptics caused Dawlish to purse his lips in discomfort for a moment. He had never been an aficionado of hospitals, their recycled air, the vague sensation of pain and death that permeated the buildings structure even from the outside, strangled cries from the dying and those with the fortune to live on. Perhaps it was simply memories of triage during the Czenovian military actions he?d been part of. Even without explicit medical training his knowledge of alchemy had been enough for him to be drafted into aiding the medical corps. Too many times had a random soldier clawed at his labcoat begging for release and leaving only a bloody handprint as evidence he had lived at all. Dawlish hated it; with a cold fury he hated it all. News of his Uncle had reached him minutes after the event; though he was not on good terms with several members of his family he still retained enough contacts to get word of important happenings as quickly as those who remained well thought-of. When it became public knowledge Leonhart had becoming hospitalised the effect on Magitech?s stock would be at least a five percept drop in value. Fontleroy was a vaguely competent secretary and aide to his father, but the idea of him actually taking over from the legendary alchemist was enough to make even the steeliest supporter think about the value of his portfolio. More than once he?d been approached by board members quietly about reinvesting to the value of his father?s former holdings in the company, perhaps in the current climate it was an idea worth mulling over. His face was recognisable enough now to the general public that the nurses began to whisper to one another even before he reached the reception desk. It would still be a few minutes before journalists and paparazzi arrived looking for the scoop of the day, so he could afford to be amiable. Of the trio present he picked out the youngest to speak to, she was a pretty young thing, probably no older than her early twenties; her face still bore a touch of adolescence and framed with blond curls cut in the latest trend. He flashed her a small smile and watched with a contented amusement as her cheeks burned with embarrassment at his attention. ?Good afternoon, I?m looking for Leonhart Almagest?s room I was wondering if you could help me?? ?Mister Almagest sir, your uncle is on the fourth floor of the Celsius Wing room 14, his wife and a number of others accompanied him. ? ?Thank you miss??? ?Pe?Penelope sir.? She blushed even further. ?Ah such a lovely name. Thank you for your help my dear.? He strode off in mild satisfaction. Yes he loved Esther with all his heart, but even a man in love needed to be reminded every once in a while that he is desirable to others. The Celsius Wing of Eshe Rehema as obvious from its name had come from Dawlish?s great-grandfather and the patron father of all alchemists. The Almagest Trust a fund for charity work within Czenovia had been very generous to the hospital over the years and as such they probably enjoyed better treatment standards than most of the populace. The heavy oak doors were off-set by gleaming brass. Dawlish paused for a moment, almost hesitant to see Leonhart in an unfit state, it seemed almost disrespectful. He pushed the thought out of his mind before striding inside. ?Well you?ve certainly looked better.? His uncle merely frowned at the comment before waving it off. ?I suppose all you?ve come here to do is make jokes. I?d have assumed a man with a company as large as yours Dawlish would be busy working.? Chuckling Dawlish set himself down in the chair next to his uncle?s bed before steepling his fingers in front his face. ?I must admit uncle I never thought you?d be so foolish.? His tone was serious the good natured banter between the two was over for the moment. ?Going after Xear technology, knowing what it did to the Xear themselves and nearly to us is a lapse I never expected of you.? Leonhart?s frown deepened his jaw clenching slightly. ?The final fate of the Xear is nothing more than speculation and rumour Dawlish, and as for the cannon that was the result of it being left in unsafe hands.? ?You mean non-Almagest hands.? It wasn?t a question. ?I take it as you know so much you also know that Primas has involved the military as well in the matter, it has moved somewhat beyond my complete control.? ?More than aware uncle, I was contacted about it by the Air-Marshal himself this morning about my involvement in this ?treasonous affair? as he called it. It seemed after three years and my resignation he still holds me in poor esteem. ? ?Probably for selling weapons to the Anovans.? His uncle quipped. ?I see your humour hasn?t left you. Either way I came to warn you; my sources within the military have informed me there?s a growing distrust for our family within the higher-ups, probably down to Deacon?s work but I can?t be utterly sure. One thing I do know for certain is I have been labelled as a potential security risk and they?ve dispatched a member of Military Intelligence Division 6 to monitor my activities and you and the rest of the family may be next.? His uncle locked eyes with him for a moment. ?MID6 ? Have you been doing anything to warrant their interest?? ?No and that?s what worries me, if they should decide my loyalties have diluted sufficiently I have no doubts I may meet with an unfortunate accident." ?Alchemist killers.? ?A crude term but yes MID6 specialises in dealing with alchemists that have become a threat to the state. Many of their members are former alchemists whose military abilities were superior to their alchemical skills.? He stood up from the chair staring out the window for a moment before moving for the door. Turning he gave his uncle a final glance. ? Be safe uncle I?ll try to keep you informed of what?s going on.? ?Thank you Dawlish.?

Aww, the fight's getting interrupted again to heal him up? That's kind of what happens every time.

Try to heal him. By the looks of things it's not going to work. She had immense difficulty trying to reverse the wound the last time Ulquiorra did this and that was pre-Resurrecion, Lord knows she's going to need some truly epic willpower to do it this time. Besides given Ulquiorra dealt with the Quincy in rather quick fashion I doubt she's going to get the chance to finish the job.

Pssh. This has to be one of the most pathetic things I've ever read. Seriously what right-minded woman would ever choose her sperm-donor based on his Youtube video ? I can see it now "Oh I like his video but I just don't like his taste in music based off those AMVs". :animesmil All joking aside I have to wonder about the kind of guys who would advertise on Youtube as sperm-donors. It comes across as a little sinister as well as pathetic really.
There's a statistic Chibi(horsewoman) that I can't quote off the top of my head, but I'm sure that at least one person on here as heard of it or knows it. It's an outrageous amount of people claim to have Irish blood, though actually don't have any. Mostly for the "joy of being Irish" I suppose. I know I'm some sort've super low number like an eighth Irish or something to that effect. Nothing worth saying "Hey I'm Irish" because there's too much other stuff watering me down. I'm a mutt and proud of it.
I vaguely remember that the statistic for the numbers of people with Irish ancestry sits somewhere around the two-hundred million mark, though that's going down as far as someone with one Irish great-grandparent as far as I remember. Personally I think regardless of how much (or little) ancestry you hold of a culture, so long as you identify with it and believe it to be a part of yourself you can legitimately call yourself a part of that culture.
