It did add slightly to the drama though of [spoiler]Louise considering the idea of killing Saji, of course as I said the latter seems to have finally grown a pair leading me to believe he'll have to pilot the 00-Raiser after Setsuna faints/is rendered incapacitated from the faux-GN particle poisoning.[/spoiler] God damn it, someone just get Jeremiah Gottwald in the 00-Raiser with Kamina and this series would be over in one episode with ultimate victory for Celestial Being's side.[/SIZE]

[SIZE="1"]I actually do think the conversation here is a little darker than it normally is between these two. While I don't want to get involved in a shipping war, Kubo did play up the potential of Uryuu's feelings for Orihime back in Soul Society and now as she has been put in danger directly due to her feelings of unrequited love for Ichigo Uryuu may be a little more peeved with him than usual. Of course thanks to helping Ichigo Uryuu is also breaking his word with his father (as the Shinigami have intervened and he's still fighting) and he had a nice time with Kurotsuchi prior to this current fight. Perhaps we'll see more on this or perhaps not. [/SIZE]

Not only does this prevent you from needing a new keyboard, and possibly a blood transfusion after all that headdesking but you can share with others the joys of threads they mightn't have seen. I remember the thread dealt with a member who'd stolen a phone from someone he didn't like and the Rangers were born out of our combined desire for great justice. At this point with over ten separate characters at various levels I think I've broken the 500 hour mark as well but the game is still as fun as it was when I started back in September. [SIZE="1"]Personally I still stand by the idea that Neliel is a Vasto Lorde herself, I know Nnoitra said that her old rank meant nothing (which is a bit silly seeing as he ascended rather than descended in rank in the newer Espada incarnations). I suppose it's also possible that Neliel was just a very powerful Adjuchas, sort of in the same way you have Momo and then Renji in terms of power differential as Lieutenants. Agreed though that Ishida has been wasting a ****-load of time with what he's been doing, given the fact he quite handily beat one of the Privaron I imagine he might've been able to take Yammy one on one. At the same time though I get the feeling It's Chad is going to have the final fight with Yammy, at least hopefully as in my mind he needs something to make up for his constant Worf Effect or maybe some further explanation of the development of his hollow powers. Seems things are going to kick off fully next week though. Looking forward to it. [/SIZE]

Both lost, but all in all he preferred fighting the living. War... It fascinated him, human predilection towards exterminating their own kind with the weapons he and others provided for them. So much of his life had been defined by it: the death of his grandfather during the Mine Wars, the murder of his beloved sister during the Rebellion, his fatherâ??s noble sacrifice to save the monarchy, his own orders to purge the revolting vermin...and finally the duel with his estranged younger brother that had shattered his fervently held preconceptions about humanity. Humanity was driven by war, its greatest creations birthed within the fires of combat, its brightest geniuses forged legacies on the battlefield. He mused that a man such as his father who had advocated peace and co-operation had generated nightmares that languished within the bowels of Mount Grail capable of destroying the entire world if unleashed. How could one seek peace and fellowship with such tendencies? What was the difference between the Dynast King declaring war and a man killing another with a Magitech-built pistol? Dawlish had relinquished any such naiveté about the morality of a just war, he would provide weapons to anyone who could meet his price, and if they chose to annihilate one another after that it was not his concern. He absolutely loved this woman; there was not a single doubt in his mind about that. After a moment she broke the kiss and withdrew from his embrace over to his desk, leaving the documents perfectly centred on the heavy oak surface. [B]â??Thank you Ms. Blakeâ?[/B] She flashed him a knowing smile. [SIZE="1"]Another act of thread necromacy by yours truly but seeing as I've watched the series in preparation for watching the original movie for college this semester I think it's justified. Having blitzed it over the last four days while suffering from the flu I have to admit I really enjoyed it overall, though not quite as much as I enjoyed Samurai Champloo. Everything about the series was pretty much top-notch the animation, the humour, the voices (I watched it with subs rather than dubs) and most importantly the action. But seriously it's a show about samurai fighting fifty foot flying robots (who used to be samurai) so if they screwed up the action they were pretty much done. Perhaps the only thing I didn't like was the pacing of the show which could go from lightning fast to tortoise slow at a moments notice. I accept that there were going to be story problems out of the fact it's adapting a movie to over eight times it's original length so obviously there were going to be difficulties if things were to remain relatively similar plot-wise. I can't say I really disliked any character with perhaps the exception of Katsushiro and even then it was just a mild distaste out of the fact his VA's other role in Bleach was bleeding into my perception a lot. I did sort of snicker at his horrified expression when [spoiler]he killed Kyuzo by accident with the gun[/spoiler]. On the other hand Kukichiyo was far and away my favourite character of the series and probably one of my favourite anime characters of all time. Sure he's loud, brash, stupid and not particularly skilled but he certainly comes off as the most human of all the samurai and his guts had to be respected. [spoiler]His death scene was certain in my opinion the most significant of all the samurai in the film, because let's face it none of the others could've cut the capital in half using a BFS with one arm.[/spoiler] Oh yeah and Ukyo = win, no more to say about that because I'll get into a bit story tangeant but he made me laugh so much throughout the series for a variety of reasons. Overall it was a great series with only a few flaws so it's getting an 8.5/10 for me, would highly recommend it to any samurai fans or even anime fans in general if they're looking for something slightly different. Damn now I need to find a new show to watch...[/SIZE]
