Bleach

Personally I found the whole "lulz I can swallow a soul-pill and force myself out of my own body to counteract your poison" to be a bit O_o As far as I remember Reigai, or at least the idea which preceded them was conceived of by Urahara in order to compensate for souls who lost spiritual cohension, effectively acting as a shell. For me that would suggest that regular souls and shinigami shouldn't be able to use them without effectively trapping themselves inside. Even souls recovering from power drains, like Rukia was in the Soul Society Arc didn't need them and regular people going through those soul gates had to be converted into reishi first. It's all a bit strange but then I'd suspect all members of the 12th Squad do weird **** like that on a regular basis. The Reigai only using a fraction of their real power was lame as well, way to obliterate any meaning behind the struggles in the previous fight guys (though if I see Hinamori x2 kick Hitsugaya's ass again I may alleviate my opinion somewhat). Still say we need Reigin, Reigaizen and Kanarei Tousen (yeah, lame joke) back for more fun. From a story point of view, utterly predictable plot twist is utterly predictable. Obviously we're going to see that individual Kageroza keeps visiting (Nozumi's "father"?) brought back in the next while but really all that can be said is we've slammed right back into boring filler territory after a sadly very interesting looking premise became a not-quite as interesting story and is now thoroughly uninteresting. Can't argue with that, I'm just being a nerd and laughing at their crappy idea of I.T. advancement.

Don't count your blessings, there are rumors of a fourth. Then again, Bay and Leberkaderk already said they wouldn't be on board with it, so anything is an improvement, really.

Incidentally, Bay's Optimus Prime is actually a Decepticon spy posing as him. I refuse to believe that the real Optimus would be such a violent sociopath.

  5.
Eh, 'scuse me but there are over 90 million German native speakers yay so many like me! (apparently only 'standard' too, so they didn't count Switzerland and some other places) in comparison to about 70 million French natives so I must disagree on that. Though I must say, French is a hell of a lot easier than German so it might still be the better choice if one's not willing to study uber hard for it.
Well I was factoring in those in Africa who would speak French as one of their first languages too, according to Wiki there's about 120 million French vs 118 million German so really there's not that much of a gap. Probably would've preferred to learn German instead in school but we had no fluent speakers to teach us, it would at least give me some recourse for constantly being mistaken for German abroad.

      @Mage17: Seems so.

@James: Heh heh, indeed. Guess I'll find out eventually.

@White: Your parents watching a nerdy comedy makes them awesome people. Ensure they know the webz respect them.

@Crys: I think Skillet was the first of them that I got into and then Last.fm sort of directed me towards the others. Always been a sort of alternative rock fan so that probably helped. Most of the time unless you really listen to the lyrics you wouldn't even realise...

  7.
nlargfhsslkcfascflskdjbwe fwoihwed dw iwuhwee dwoidhwd ! Hi. I want to learn a language, but I have no idea what language I want to learn! D; Any suggestions, anybody? I want to learn German, since it's in my blood, but so is French, and I want to learn that, too! :| But I don't have the memory nor the money to learn two languages. I used to take Spanish classes, but I'm never going to a Spanish speaking country, so meh. Maybe Polish, but it's so difficult, and hard to pronounce, too. But my in-law's family is Polish and it's their main language.. but I doubt I will be going to a Polish speaking country... So French or German? ... :I I'm leaning towards German since I've wanted to learn it ever since I was... ten years-old. ...eh *shrugs* Or maybe Scots (I think that's it?) since I'm Scottish as well! :V okay, Rosetta Stone cost $200 for one level. Screw that. And the college I am going to doesn't have German.. :| choices choices...
I was conversationally fluent in French up to a few years ago so I'm required to push for the cheese-eating surrender monkeys, French is a fairly widely spoken language (probably much more so than German) so you may find it slightly more useful. I imagine you nattering away in French near your Polish in-laws might be more au-fait than German too. ^_^; As for Scottish, well as far as I know there's very little in difference between Scots Gaelic and Irish (apparently if you speak one you can fairly proficiently communicate with someone who speaks the other) and I think Irish language courses/books would be easier to get a hold of. Plus you know Irish > Scottish obviously. Rosetta Stone is bloody expensive though, I priced it to help with Japanese for college and it game to over â?¬300 if I remember right, tbh I considered not altogether legal methods before forgetting about it altogether.

    Bleach

Of course not, we'd get to see ReigAizen overthrow Kageroza (who's merely a lamer version of Aizen) and create a much more interesting situation (freeing RealAizen maybe). Arc ends with Ichigo once again having to use Mugetsu and losing his powers while bringing us nicely back into canon.
  9. Based on what we've seen I'd hazard a guess that he has to actually stab into an opponent, but it wouldn't be a surprise from Kubo that any physical contact at all would be enough. It could be entirely within Tsukishima's nature to have Ginjou hide the fact that he's under control until they're within the manor and Ichigo has nowhere but forward to go. I'd say we got plenty of information in this chapter though, and it's the first time we've seen a really furious Ichigo which was pretty spooky/cool. @Magus: Yeah, kind curious about that myself. No levity either between Urahara and Isshin so they're definitely out on business.
  10. Wow, just wow. Now that is a ******* chapter Kubo. Talk about being on the edge of my seat the whole way through those twenty pages. Man the wait till the next one is going to be brutal. If that is Tsukishima's ability, then only BankAizen could be more haxx.

    Bleach

I think you mean to say Bleach has been repeating the same two stories since the Soul Society Arc. I hope I'm wrong but TBH I think the Fullbringers were a huge backward step (along with the end of Deicide) for Bleach, aside from Ginjo and Tsuki there's nothing even remotely interesting about them. I'd actually nearly have rathered there only be the pair of them as opposed to the whole group. [Edit] What this arc needs to be truly epic: ReigAizen "Kurosaki Ichigo, since when were you under the impression I would not show up again in filler".

    Bleach

Story-wise the episode was pretty lame up until Mayuri's epic troll but yeah, the animation really is top-notch in this arc. I have to say my favourite aspect of the art is that they've given every character distinctive faces as opposed to Kubo's homogenisation as his style as evolved and improved. You just know inside his head Mayuri was thinking "**** you Urahara, I can troll villains like a boss when I want to too."

  15. Debating actually finishing and posting an RPG I've been sort of half-writing but keenly aware that my RPGs tend to die rather quickly after inception. For anyone interested it's steam-punk King Arthur-y sort of stuff with mecha Knights and political intrigue.

  16. In terms of remaking FFVII, I could see the sheer popularity of that game among our generation of gamers making it a viable project for SE but again it becomes a question of how exactly do you modernise a game like that (does a hugely popular character like Vincent stay an unlockable side character or do you bring him into the main plot ?) and do you change elements of the graphical style when modernising it to give the game a different feel along with new features like the combat system. As James said you also have to take in the other side stories since released in terms of what you rerelease. If given the choice I'd personally rather see full console remake of FFVII as opposed to moving it to the 3DS or other portable systems, but the same could be said of any of the earlier FFs as I don't do a whole pile of handheld gaming. Also in complete agreement about MG3, one of the best videogames I've ever played.
  17. *Sighs* Talk no Jutsu successful. Vaguely better chapter but I still dislike the shilling of Naruto and his parents (seriously, haloes around them now Kishi? Is that not a bit much?) as being continuously right about everything. A's stance was somewhat extreme but rooted in logic, Naruto's is based purely on his own arrogant assumption that the prophecy and his parent's faith in him is unassailable. He's practically got a full on Messiah complex now. That said this chapter made me realise yet again what a shitty godfather Jiraiya was (oh, my godson is an orphan now, sod it I'll go whoring and boozing for years before showing up for almost completely unrelated reasons instead of taking care of him) and how Hiruzen and Kakashi both dropped the ball as well with regard to him as well (ah, he'll be fine if left to his own devices with no idea who he is or why people hate him). Lord knows trained properly, with his level of development he'd have made the Uchiha look like a collective joke.

    Bleach

I know what you mean man, I suppose they might've countered it with Koma being able to use his reiatsu sort of hierro-style (which the tough mofo does pretty often anyway) to maybe block the effects of her shikai like Aizen was able to. Honestly Soifon is probably the worst Captain for Koma to be matched up against given his style versus her style so it says huge amounts for him not only to be able to beat a more aggressive version of her but also to be able to tank her bankai (and remember what that did to Hachi's shields) and only faint afterwards with no hugely visible damage. Dude must be made of iron, hopefully we'll get to see him take on and beat his Reigai afterwards. Regarding seeing unrevealed bankai, yeah it would be nice to maybe get a sneak preview or heck even have Yama yell "Bankai!" at the end and cut to credits just to let us know he's at least willing to use something beyond his shikai when so badly outnumbered. I imagine Kubo is probably dead-set against it though given bankai reveals are usually used as important plot points to revealing one of the big four's is very unlikely. The fact he hasn't killed off Aizen or revealed his bankai makes me believe we'll probably see the uber-troll again in a future arc but the same could be said for all the Vizards too. Heh as for background checks, I imagine Aizen did a "You don't need to see my identification" *handwave* and Kagerosa is 12th squad so probably found some way to hide it.

    Bleach

Dat Komamura, nay BROmamura. Every crappy scene in this filler so far (by which I mean every scene Nozomi or Orihime are in) has been made up for with that fight. Lord knows why we can't get animation of that calibre in the main series.

  22. Depends really, I don't might straight ports to say portable systems from previous generation consoles as they're still working off of roughly the same technology. If something was to be remade for a newer home system I would prefer to see maybe a bit of expansion, new features, etc so long as it was in-keeping with the spirit of the game itself. I like remakes generally speaking, it lets new players play games that were big perhaps years before they ever even got into gaming.
