1. I would most certainly agree with anybody that says that these boards have matured, at least since I came here. I originally joined close to the end of V1 (Feb 2001, 2 years and 10 days ago to be exact). I would say that the people at the end of V1 were pretty immature. At that time, almost no admins or mods were around to keep things in order. It seems that every week there was a new idiot that needed banning, but with nobody around to do it, it became a problem. I remember nights where there'd be some new member just flaming people for hours before Hbomb would finally show up and ban them. Some of these problems continued into early V2, but I don't think they were as severe as soon as some admins that actually stayed around on the boards showed up. Since then these boards have come a long way in level of maturity.
2. After looking t some of your lists I feel kind of bad about getting so much stuff this Christmas. By myself I did superiffic but with my little brother's presents added to mine this Christmas was extraspectabulous. Mine - Resident Evil Zero (GC) - Onimusha 2 (PS2) - Robotech: Battlecry (PS2) - Metroid Fusion (GBA) - Metroid Prime (GC) - Star Wars Jedi Knight 2: Jedi Outcast (Xbox) - Nifty 100 Disc cd rotating organizer thingy - Fighting Robots - The Hobbit by J.R.R Tolkien - Long Underwear The stuff I bought after Christmas - Shinobi (PS2) - Ratchet & Clank (PS2) - Mortal Kombat: Deadly Alliance (PS2) My Brother (only the games he got are listed) - Super Monkey Ball 2 (GC) - THPS4 (both GBA & PS2) - Sly Cooper and the Thingus Racamagoocus (I am aware that this isn't the actual title of the game) PS2 Post Christmas bought stuff of his - Mario Party 4 (GC) - LOTR:2T (PS2) - Yu-Gi-Oh game for the game boy advance (don't know specific title) - The DBZ PS2 game I might have missed something but it's 5 AM and I'm too tired to check
3. I've never lived anywhere outside of Wisconsin. I was born in Madison and lived there for 8 years then I moved to Shorewood, which is in Milwaukee County. After only living for a year in Shorewood we moved to this nice little town called Pewaukee. I've been living in Pewaukee for 5 1/2 years now. As for vacations, I've been to Arizona(3), Illinois(4), Hawaii(1), Minnesota(2), South Carolina(1), Florida(1), Ohio(1), and California(1). My favorite was Hawaii, we stayed on Maui. Only downsides were sunburn and my old obsession with Dragon Ball Z (new episodes were airing, I hadn't yet discovered fansubs, and my hotel had Cartoon Network). I had to get to my room EVERY weekday to watch it by 4:30. Just more fuel for my current hatred of DBZ.
4. Some pretty strange stuff has happened to me in the game. I wouldn't really consider it bad though. For some reason, after I collected 10 hidden packages I got all of the rewards for collecting them (Hunter and all)

Die Another Day

I'm an incredibly big 007 fan and it pains me to say that I haven't seen this movie yet. Actually, I would have seen it but I got sick this past week (damn asthma).
6. My life probably would have been much much better without otakuboards. I had a fight with the friend that introduced me to these boards and I personally feel that it wouldn't have escalated to the point it did if we didn't have these boards to fight on. Also, with all the time I had wasted here that I should have spent doing homework I think I would have done better in 8th grade
7. My real name is Cheyne Trost. For some strange reason nobody can seem to pronounce it (even Trost). My name has actually caused me some trouble, school records have me recorded as a female. Ch=Sh ey=ay ne=n Cheyne= Shayn(Shane) Tr is pronounced like the tr in trust and ost is pronounced like the oast in roast. People tend to pronounce the o like you would pronouce the o in the name Ross.
8.
Originally posted by Semjaza Azazel Well I'd say the first thing to do would be to go speak to a doctor. I realize that's hard to do, but obviously everything you've tried so far hasn't worked. It's at least worth a try, and a doctor should be able to refer you to someone or something that would help.
Yea, go see a doctor (the psychological kind). Something similar happened to me 4 years ago -though not quite a extreme- and I went to see a psychologist. He actually helped me out and today I'm a pretty happy guy. Also, trust me when I say that anti-depressants really do work.
9.
Originally posted by Omega V4 The answer to this question is of course Dante from Devil May Cry. He has the ability to change into a Demon, run on walls, among other things.
I agree. Dante is by far the coolest hero to ever appear in a video game. Sure he sounds like a retard whenever he talks, but who needs to sound cool when he can turn into a demon and unleash some incredibly cool attacks on his foes. However, I don't think that he has the aility to run on walls... yet (perhaps he will in DMC2. I still haven't heard much about any new abilities he's gained)
10. I've actually seen some videos of the game on TV (Extended Play on TechTV). I couldn't believe it but they actually made the action FASTER. Also, the whole thing is supposed to be longer than the original and the controls are a little more complicated (but the numbe of attack options you have has been greatly increased).
11. Well I can't really say that spending time here is my favorite thing to do. However, this version seems to be the most interesting one in some time. I've been visiting for 1 year 10 months, and when I joined there were a lot more people fighting and doing their best to disturb the peace. I actually found those times to be the best and most interesting. I really enjoyed telling off such people as thimoc 2, IFYM, and I especially loved fighting with my ultimate rival, SSJGoten. At least then I felt like I did something with a purpose. Heated discussions about why some anime character does something that doesn't make sense to somebody else aren't really my bag.

Codes?
Originally posted by zidane11 The one thing I can't find is any planes, can someone help me please.
I managed to get a seaplane after finishing a mission at Interglobal Studios on Prawn Island. You have to buy the place before you can start doing the missions for it though ($60,000). After completing the mission that has you fly the plane and drop flyers it will always appear at the boat dock through the back exit of the studio. I hope this helps.
13. My name pretty much comes from Green Day's CD "Nimrod". I used to wear a Green Day shirt with the title on the front and some people called me Nimrod for a couple days. It's the closest thing I've ever had to a nickname, so I just decided to use it after I discovered I couldn't get my old name back after being banned. I didn't really care since I didn't like my old name anyway.
14. Jimmy Eat World is a perfect example. They've been making records since 1994 and just now they start getting a little attention, but still not quite enough so that everybody knows who they are.
15. I've heard and read a lot about this sniper. Halloween being cancelled is an excellent idea for the area. The sniper obviously doesn't care about shooting children, and if he/she could escape with all of those people around he/she might feel that he/she can prove that he/she really might be close to unstoppable.
16. Up until 8th grade I did well. 8th and 9th grade I slacked off and did umm bad (I had to go to summer school for Geometry). After getting out of summer school in record time (4 class periods out of close to 30) I decided to start doing something about it. Now I'm doing well. Biology- 98.6% A (highest grade of anybody taking the class) Graphic Arts- 90.7% A- Gym- 92.4% A- English- 91.8% A- (class avg. is 71.5% though) Current Issues- (Unknown percent) I should have an A. Intro to Social Sciences- 94.4% A Spanish- 94.2% A Algebra II- 96.7% (highest score, funny since I failed the previous math course)
Originally posted by zidane11 Where do you get curaga and that kind of stuff. I've beat all the cups. The only one that I beat every feature was in the phil cup. I didn't feel like doing it with all the cups until after they got harder and now I can't do it. I'm almost at level 60. Also, where do you get ultima weapon? My best weapon for Sora is the Lion Heart. I think that's what it's called. Does anyone know a good way to level up? Thanks.
You can get curaga from Aeris. Talk to her a few times after locking Hollow Bastion's keyhole (she's in the library in Hollow Bastion). Getting the Ultima Weapon is the ultimate pain. Some items needed for synthesizing are very hard to find (I had particular trouble finding Mystery Goo and Bright Crystals).

Kingdom Hearts

Well I beat Sephiroth. I didn't find him too difficult (but I was at level 80). However, I do have some tips. 1. Equip stuff that raises your defense. It is the most important stat in the fight. 2. Have Curaga, the Ultima Weapon, MP Haste, MP Rage, & Second Chance. MP Rage allows you to heal yourself with the damage he does to you. Second Chance allows you to survive when he starts waving around his hand and says "Sin Harvest" (I think). Otherwise, I believe you instantly die. 3. Sorry, the previous strategy for #3 sucked. So when he does his fire attack perform the Strike Raid technique (equip it if you don't have it equipped) 4. Carry some elixirs for the sin harvest attack. It takes away all mp and hp (that's why you need second chance). Sin Harvest can be avoided by attacking him before he does it. You'll know he has pulled it off when you have a red halo over your head. 5. For beating him at earlier levels use any of the aero spells to prevent immediate death. 6. He has an attack that he slashes a lot of times in the air, he follows up by hitting the ground and causing some damage to you (kind of like Cloud & Leon. Except this is much worse). Keep your health up when he does this. Make sure to have Dodge Roll equipped since it's the only way I have managed to avoid the end of it. 7. Don't attack him with magic. He is immune. 8. If you have more than 1 combo plus (or air com.+) don't really bother with the fifth attack. He likes to teleport after you hit him 4 times in a row. 9. Halfway through the fight he will create some blue kind of energy around himself. He'll almost instantly perform a big meteor attack. Jump in the air to avoid the damaging shockwaves of the meteors hitting the ground. He spins them around for a while then finishes with a large explosion. Keep your health up before the explosion. If it hits it'll do plenty of damage. 10. Try to hit him from above near the beginning. Just to avoid his slashes. Good Luck! (Note: Seph doesn't give you any items, but he gives you tons of exp. points. I got my level up to 91 now and I still gain a level each time I beat him)
19. Some random evil guy in any gundam series-"You know what? I think it would be a bad idea to try to ram some giant object into the earth."
20. I'd have to say that Federation vs. Zeon is the best US release. JTJ I didn't like at all, but Zeonic Front was pretty cool with being the commander of mobile suits. The Battle Assault games are cool too. And since they're pretty cheap it's a good buy.
21. The mobile suits are: Feds- GM(Ground), GM, RX-79(Ground)Gundam, Guntank, Guncannon, Ball, & RX-78 Gundam Zeon- Zaku I, Zaku II, Char's Zaku II, Gouf, Gyan, Dom, Rick Dom, Zock, Acguy, Z'Gock, Char's Z'Gock, Gogg, Gelgoog, Char's Gelgoog, & the Zeong
22. Well, I can't say anime is well liked at my school. However, I haven't been picked on for what I like. I think that picking on somebody for there own opinion is exactly what causes people to become social outcasts. Also, I think a lot more people would appreciate it if it were forced on students in the form of a class. Anime is a helluva lot more interesting than the English lit. crap school forces on us. Japanese people most certainly are more capable than most american authors at creating a good plot. It would be cool to have some sort of class set up like an english lit. course where you would observe and gain a better understanding of anime. Unfortunatly it is a very stupid idea and a decent class would be incredibly difficult to teach. But man I would love to take a class like that. Of course, people would still hate it if they were had to watch it. Merely for the fact that it is school-related.
23. I have 2 left feet. If I try to dance I'll stumble and trip and probably hurt something in the process.
24. Wow, I have to say that I'm impressed. I never would've taken my time to do that. I mean I've drawn my own Gundams and stuff but ummm wow. Oh yes, one quick question. If it's AC timeline why are there Neo Zeon mobile suits? Especially since AC is supposedly an alternate universe. If it were UC I think it would work better.
25. I bought an RX-78GP03 Stamen model kit at a local Target. They had a bunch more. Your average kit will probably cost about $20. However, some of the Perfect and Master Grade ones can cost a lot more
